The Long Winter

No one saw the winter coming. No one did. Not even the most experienced elven mages of all of Dallenclaw could have seen the coming of the ice. None could have foreseen the disaster that began the Everlasting Winter. The Kingdom of Durrendel was first to feel the fury of the gods, they destroyed their capital rising the great White Mountain in it's stead... but they didn't stop there... they spread the winter across Dallenclaw, interrupting the daily lives of the people, and even destroying the homeland of the Mijack. Many great nations split, and many lives were lost, as Dallenclaw entered a new Ice Age.

It is now 402 LW, four-hundred and two years since that fateful event that shook Dallenclaw. The world is a changed place... the Ashen Empire and Northwall prepare to face off in combat for the fate of Dallenclaw.... and soon.... the Great Ones Will Return.....

The Eternal Winter

For many years before the Eternal Winter came, the Kingdoms of Dallenclaw was prosperous. The several Kings of Durrendel continued to function harmoniously with each other, the Ashen Empire remained the dominate force on the Continent, and the many Lords of Trimedar continued to face of with each other but were otherwise peaceful. Then came the Great Judgement War, which the Kings of Durrendel and Lords of Timedar waged war against the Imperial Ashen Empire. In the conflict, the Mijack of Timedar attempted to wipe out the worship of Arryn, the Great God of the Elves in the Empire, which in turn enraged the gods as a whole who now seeked revenge against both Durrendel, and Timedar. On the 5th of Summer's End, 724, it began, the external Winter.... it started with the cataclysmic event that destroyed Timedar, destroying the homeland of the Mijack, and then the destruction of the City of Durrendel, which rose the White Mountain in it's place. But the God didn't stop there, they spread the Winter to the entire continent, even the Ashen Empire was greatly affected, and the world entered a new Ice Age.

Dallenclaw was shattered... although the Ashen Empire had survived the beginning of the Winter, most of the states of the continent collasped, Timedar being destroyed completely. Immediately following the aftermath of the Cataclysms of Timedar and Durrendel, the Ashen Empire invaded the now independent Kingdom of Westgrove within Durrendel, and soon after Northwall, another Durrendel Kingdoms, also engaged in it's own Imperial Conquests, invading the Kingdoms of both Southfall and Eastmarch, with Eastmarch repelling the invading forces. Even though Eastmarch had defeated Northwall, they had been signifigantly weakened, leading to the Dwarven Rebellion against their Human Overlords, which ended in Dwarven victory. Meanwhile in the far south of Dallenclaw, the Elkfolk of Yalenk seize an opportunity to expand in the chaos of Timedar after the Great Cataclysms. The Yalenk Confederation was able to push the Mijack of Timedar out of some of their remaining holdings and still remain at war with the feline race to this day. At that was over 300 Years ago...

Now in the present things are changing in Dallenclaw. The Ashen Empire and Northwall prepare to take up arms, in the greatest War since the Judgement. Southfall and Eastmarch try to hang on to their independence from Northwall and Ashen. The Elkfolk and Mijack continue to fight for the remnants of Timedar, the Mijack Chief poised now to reclaim their lost glory. And soon... very soon....

The Ice will melt... as the Great One... arises again.....




Welcome my fellow NS Players, Everhall at your service, your OP and mentor into the world of TLW. This is a primarily a fantasy based RP here, with the typical magic and races you would see in such fantasy. Feel free to read up on the lore of my story and the different classes and races of Dallenclaw. In this RP we will manily follow the story of the 5 Rulers and the coming threat, however you are encouraged to go forge your own story and also to interact with other characters and even go forge your own damn Kingdom or Empire! If you are lost in anyway please do not hesitate to call upon me or my Co-OP we'll get you ready. In order for this RP to start I must have a few things filled out:

1. Each Ruler role must be furfilled (Ashen Empire, Kingdom of Northwall, Southfall, Eastmarch, and Westgrove (Even though it's a puppet state)
2. There must be at least 20 people, in this RP.
And 3. We all are as hyped as I am for this :D

Ashen Magic

The Arcane arts of the Ashen Empire are mainly centered around illusion and destruction, using spells to trick their enemy or cause damage to them. It is taught at the Ashen Mage's College in Phoenix and Westgrove.

Northern Magic

The Arcane Arts of Northwall are very much like the militeristic magic of Ashen. However Nothern Magic has been more used for construction and enchantment among the Human Populace to construct the Great North Wall.

Southern Magic

Within the Kingdom of the South, Illusion Magic has become the norm ever since the Thieves Guild Came around. Magic was very useful to thiefs who wanted to avoid a nasty conflict.

Elkfolk (Valenk) Magic

Elkfolk Magic is commonly assossiated with manipulation of nature and natural engeries. Their magics are able to control animals, making them their ally, and it allows the Elkfolk of Valenk to make their homes out of the great trees and forests, without harming the plants. Elkfolk magic is also associated with healing.

The Elven Empire of Ashen has long been the most dominate power of all of Dallenclaw. It was established by Alaro Ashen in the year 545 BLW, and since 256 LW has been ran by his son, Alyari Ashen. The Empire has long been a civilizing power in Dallenclaw, uniting the tribes and villages of the West and North into their Empire. The Empire has a solid relation with all the Durrendel Kingdoms.... at least that is what they pretend to do... in realtiy, the Empire has long sought to expand further into Durrendel... at at this rate... war with Northwall is only days away....

The Kingdom of the East

The Kingdom of the East or Eastmarch is an Mining Kingdom headed by the Dwarves of Durrendel. In the days before the great Winter, the city was run by a human King, appointed by the King in Durrendel. The humans put the original Dwarven population into slavery to mine in Eastmarch's great Iron, Gold, and Sliver mines. Once the Enternal Winter arose, the Dwarves revolted against their human masters and took the city for themselves, drastically souring Eastmarch's relations to the Human Kings. The City has beem subjective to many sieges in order to take the beautiful city, but all have failed and the Kingdom's walls still stand tall, protecting a prosperous high Dwaven class and the poor and neglectied Human population.

The Kingdom of the West

The Kingdom of the West, or Westgrove, is a puppet state of the Ashen Empire, ran by a Elven King. The City had always had strong connections to the Emperors of Ashen them being elven just like them. The city was made home of the Mage's College of Ashen in the years prior of the Winter. Once the winter struck, the farms and plantations of Westgrove didn't freeze over like most of the Kingdoms, but they continued to prosper, making Westgrove the most populated of all the Kingdoms, also making it an target for the rest of the Kings to vie for the still prospering city of the Elves. However, before anyone could make due on these plans, Westgrove was annexed by the Imperial Ashen Empire, making almost any attempt at taking the city, futile.

The Kingdom of the North or Northwall, is a militaristic city state ran in the North by a Human King. The city had always, even before the winter, been the most militarized of the lot. Their King's commonly clased with the King of Durrendel in a bid for independence. They even constructed the Great North Wall, in which their city is named after, to cut off Durrendel forces from intering their Kingdom. Once the great winter came, Northwall sought to conquer the rest of the Kings of Durrendel, however only in recent years have the Kings been able to push their way into the southern Kingdom of Southfall. The city is also home to another race of beings, the Elkfolk, whom are subjective to racism and prejudice throughout the Kindom. The city has also become home to the Great Academy, an instillation that trains up warriors. In the past few years Northwall has been at odds with the Ashen Empire... and war... now seems inevitable...

The Kingdom of the South or Southfall, was once a major sea faring city. If anything came from the ocean, it was from Southfall. Once the Long Winter ravaged Dallenclaw, the Seas froze over, making life difficult for the human inhabitants of Southfall. Many started leaving, and Southfall drifted futher and futher into obscurity. A few years after the Long Winter began, Northwall invaded Southfall, in a bid to match it's power with the Ashen Empire. The North Succeeded, making Southfall a puppet state within the now expanded Kingdom.

Timedar is a shadow of it's former self. The Once proud Kingdom of the Mijack had never fully recovered from the Great Cataclysms, in which most of the Kingdom was swept beneath the waves and ice. With the destruction of most of their homeland, most Mijack fled to the Kingdoms of Durrendel and the Ashen Empire. Back in Timedar, things just kept getting worse. With the coming of the ice sheets, the Mijack of Timedar couldn't support their manly fish eating diets, much like the ice sheets effected the main industry of Southfall. Seeing this plight, the nearby Valenk Confederacy of the Elkfolk attacked Timedar, taking some of it's most of it's intact southern holding, including their former capital of Marlincar. Although Valenk had the upper hand, the immense swamps and marshes. And ever since the two entities have been at war... consuming the lives of their citizens....

The wooden homeland of the Elkfolk, and a safe haven for all kinds of Vagabonds, Valenk had always been the least effected of the Kingdoms from the Great Winter. Strong Elk Magic and wits are to thank for the still prosporing forest of Valenk. Before the Great Winter, Valenk was notting more than a city state within the Homelands of the Elkfolk, the confederation was just a dream of it's King. Once the Winter struck, this Old Valenk was completely destroyed, falling beneath the waves like most of the nearby Kingdoms of Timedar. The lords of Valenk rebuilt an even grander city, going on to even conquer the rest of the Elkfolk Homeland of Forrend. Then in the year 117 LW, the Confederation made their new move, to conquer the remnants of Timedar. They where partially successful in their endeavors, conquering the mostly intact southern holding of the Kingdom, but once they reached the marsh lands, the Mijack claimed the upper hand, and the war, still ongoing, came to a stalemate.

The Creed or the Brotherhood

A band of assassins feared throughout the Kingdom, the Creed exercise the act of murder or assassination within Durrendel. They establish contracts with the people of Durrendel, being payed in gold for their services to take out any specific target. A Creed Assassin is willing to risk anything, jail-time, fines, and even death to complete their contract.

Adept in the art of stealth and secrecy, the Thieves Guild of Southfall has become the dominate faction within the Kingdom, behind Northwall. The Thieves Guild commonly runs jobs for itself it increase it's wealth, but every now and then, they accept a contract from a client to steal from a certain place and certain things, making a increased number of coin. In recent years the Guild has hit a low patch, the King of Southfall beginning to crack down on the Guild of Thieves

A place for warriors around the world to test their mettle, a place for honor and glory. The Great Academy of Northwall was that place. Training even children in the art of the warrior, the Academy has become the breeding ground for great warriors. This entity also double's as Northwall's Military Academy, training men and children to give their lives for their Kingdom.

Being adept thieves and sneakers comes naturally to them, and also the Magic Arts of Dallenclaw. Because of their tendency to be thieves, they are othen subject to racial discrimination throughout Dallenclaw

The Feline Inhabitants of the lands of southern Dallenclaw, coming to the Kingdom after a cataclysmic event destroyed most of their homeland of Trimedar. Alyari Ashen, is the most powerful person in Dallenclaw. Being the first son of the the Emperor Alaro Ashen came with it's perks, along with ruling the most powerful entity on Earth.

Alyari Ashen was born in the year 81 LW, to the late Alaro the Conqueror along with his twin brother Viciro. Alyari enjoyed a privileged lifestyle within Phoenix, being the son of an Emperor, he was once set to head to the Mage's College of Ashen within Westgrove, but along his way there, Alyari escaped from his armed convoy, and joined a caravan on it's way to Northwall. There the young Prince joined the Great Northern Academy, training in the ways of the warrior. In the North, Alyari developed a hatred for men, due to the constant discrimination Alyari faced in Northwall. Alyari finally returned to Ashen when his Father was assassinated by a Creed Assassin, and began his reign as the 2nd Emperor of Ashen. In recent years, Alyari has turned his attention to Northwall, the Northern Jewel of Durrendel... and soon, he's gonna claim it for the Empire


Weaknesses: Alyari grew up in complete comfort, he doesn't know true stuggle; The Emperor seems over confident of his abilities

Bio:

Ri-Dar was not alive during the great cataclysm, but he has heard of it. One day, the lands of Timedar collaspes into nothingness, only some Mijack were left. Ri-Dar was born in Westgrove, an Elven city that had welcomed the Mijack with open arms, but only outside the main city. The young Mijack grew up in relative good conditions, his family wasn't starving, the land was at peace, everything seemed good for Ri-Dar... atleast until the Northwall Invasion of Southfall. Many of his village's adults went to Southfall to work as mercenaries, including Ri-Dar's parents, who would die in the conflict. The cat himself also traveled to Southfall for a time to help out in the war, and there he discovered his talent for killing. He viscously attacked Northwall troops, all those that met his blade would eventually lay dead. In aftermath of the War with Southfall, Ri-Dar continued his work as a "Professional Killer" he grabed many people's fear, and attention, including the Creed.

Ri-Dar was recuited, and now spends his days filling out contracts and aiding the Creed's Cause.

Weaknesses: Ri-Dar is a trained killer, he will not hesitate to kill anyone that angers him. Making allies doesn't come easy to him. He'll often do his contract and go on a blood frieze, murdering anyone that tries to stop him, rather than escape.
Personality: Although Ri-Dar is amazingly well at what he does, be doesn't boast about it, he believes the man who boasts is the man who dies. Ri-Dar speakes rarely, only taking when absolutely necessary or with his contracts.

Bio: Born in Southfall, Aren was raised a thief. He almost joined the Thieves Guild, but one shining night he was able to escape in a military caravan to Northwall, where he trained at the academy, excelling all their classes. He was always interested in mythology, and by the time he graduated, he became convinced that the gods of old had abandoned Dallenclaw. For two years he wandered the frozen wasteland near the White Mountain, meditating, hunting and trying to decide what was true. Finally, he received a vision from beings that called themselves the Dov. They weren't gods, but they were very similar. After many months of communing with the Dov, he returned to Northwall with a tattoo (which would be impossible in the frozen wasteland to get). After gaining converts, he went to the King of Northwall and asked for permission to build a temple for his new cult, which would fight for Northwall. The King agreed, and now Aren fights alongside his brethren Dovists. In his spare time, he helps the military of Northwall design new weapons. He is currently working on a weapon he calls a "crossbow".

Weaknesses: His reputation as a leader of a cult may cause fear in those not from the Kingdom of the North. He is honorable to a fault, and gets angry when others fight without honor. Aren also never learned to swim.

Bio: Rilamus Andalara was born in Southfall, growing up as a thief to survive in the world. He joined their thieves guild, but always wanted a more meaningful existence. By 15, Rilamus had become almost a legend among the Thieves Guild, as he was silent as the night when he moved and blended in with the shadows. No one could see him, and he could get in and out of a place within a few minutes. Ril spent the next 100 years rising through the ranks and being a very prominent member in the Thieves Guild. Bio
Born in the tiny village of Titraðionur in the outskirts of the Ashen Empire, Helðurheimur Barius was from a partially noble family. His father was a retired general level officer in the Imperial Army of Ashen, and his mother was a village administrator. On his father's insistence, Barius joined the local village army at the age of 17, quickly rising through the ranks and eventually becoming a lieutenant at the age of 26. As the village was constantly under attack from mercenaries, Barius was frequently required to go outfield on military expeditions to hunt down mercenaries. At the peak of his career, he was leading a force of 180 men.

When he was 30, he received a special request from the Military Administration of the Ashen Empire to serve in the regular army. He immediately accepted, and was drafted into the Ashen Regular Army as a Captain. Leading a force of 400 men, he led many successful campaigns against pirates and bandits. His striking golden hair earned him the epithet "Golden Lion", as it was said that he resembled a lion in combat. Within a year, his performance earned him a promotion to Major.

When he was 40, however, he led an expedition against the forces of a mercenary group from the East, the Harikjaavam. Due to misleading intelligence and failure to check said intelligence, the Golden Lion's 300 horsemen were surrounded by a force of almost 700 sorcery adepts, and were entirely decimated. Barius himself was the last to be taken down, and played dead in order to avoid the fate of his 300 horsemen.

He eventually made his way back to the Royal Palace of Ashen, seeking aid from the military administration. However, he was dishonourably discharged by the generals, who were incensed that they had lost 300 of the most elite horsemen due to Barius' negligence. His rank, medals, and titles were stripped, and the disgraced officer was forced to retire to a village in the outskirts, far away from the palace of Westgrove. He found work as a bartender, where he spoke nothing of his past.

It was also during this time that his path became entwined with that of a young, white haired boy with secrets much darker than his own...

Weaknesses
Barius is a very clumsy and reckless person, much in contrast to his earlier days as a cool headed and analytical military officer. Though he denies this, the military administration were quick to detect this change in personality in the major. This was one factor leading to his dishonourable discharge.

He is also prone to drinking at times.

Personality
Barius tends to be a very stern figure in certain situations, due in part to his military background. However, he is also caring and amiable, though his tone often convinces people otherwise. He is not afraid to fight for what he believes is right, sometimes using excessive violence on people whom he deems evil or corrupt.

The beautiful sands of the White Desert Planet whirled about in unison as a gentle wind swept across the rolling white hills. A carnival had been set up, and it was bustling with activity. Rides, shops, fortune tellers, everything. Most stalls were crowded with noisy, smelly people eager to get their fair share of whatever fun there was to get.

There was, however, one single shop which did not have anybody there. It was a simple wooden cart, with a handwritten sign reading "God". The cart itself was manned by a single old lady draped in a blue hood. Her hands trembled as she fondled the object on the cart.

It was not a large object, about the same size as a head of cabbage. Yet, this object was one of immense significance to those who knew what it was.

It was a blue stone statue of a two headed dragon.

As the old woman tenderly stroked the statue, a man in a black fur coat strode on by. He was a massive man, standing at around 3 metres tall and being immensely muscled. His face was mutilated with scars, scars from a dark past.

As he made his way to the cart, the old woman stood up, clutching the statue in her hands. "Away from me!" she said to the man in the black fur coat. "I know who you are; you will not do anything to me or the God in my hands."

The man smiled darkly, veins writhing on his forehead. He raised his hand and pointed at the woman with his finger. A dark vapour began to emanate from his finger. At the same time, the woman began to radiate a bluish glow. Her eyes shone with a blinding light as the statue of the dragon began to rattle violently.

As the woman was about to make the first blow, however, the man laughed. His darkness consumed the screaming woman, extinguishing her light forever. As her body turned to dust and flew away in the wind, the statue of the dragon began to radiate a black circle. Not a circle of darkness, but a circle of nothingness.

"Darkness itself will fall before the Singularity", a wicked voice boomed. The entire carnival fell silent. Looking around him, the man in the dark fur coat realised, to his dismay, that he was the only one left. In fact, the ground had been turned into a pitch black void, one that had consumed all else there.

"You are but small fry, Maju", the voice continued. "Your demigods grant you dark energies, and already you believe yourself to be superior to the Four Pillars of Existence, the Dragons? Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! You are like a little child who thinks himself powerful after obtaining a dagger..."

The man had had enough. Raising his hand, he produced large volumes of black fog (at least, that was what it looked like), hooding the statue and shattering it. As the void-ness of the ground below began to dissipate, the wicked voice uttered its final, derisive words.

"Ha! Ha! Ha! You'll see, Maju the Sorcerer. You'll see. Ha! Ha! Ha..."

With that, the shards of the statue vaporised into nothingness, and the voice disappeared.

The man stood still as the people formerly in the void slowly appeared again, shaken but otherwise unharmed. Some, seeing the extremely tall man, recognised him immediately. "Look! It's Maju the Sorcerer!" "What is he doing here?"

The soft murmuring was soon cut by Maju's scream of fury. Raising his hand, he opened up a dark hole, which pulled out the souls of all who stood around (about 150). With that, he pointed his hand at the ground, blasting the same blackness downwards. This propelled him clean out of Rhuun's two separate atmospheres and into outer space, the border between the world and the void.

"You shall all die."

Clenching his fist, Maju cast down a gigantic bolt of black light, tearing through the planet and emerging from the other side before dissipating. The entry and exit holes on Rhuun spewed out red hot lava into space, before the planet cracked all across itself and separated into two pieces which floated in opposite directions.

"I forgive you all, with the embrace of death."

The village elders had all shaken their heads and wagged their fingers in disapproval; however, all it took was a little persuasion and a little reminder of the respect he was due, and the High Priest Goþi relented; Retired Chief Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III would be granted his wish of one last adventure to end it all. The village historians would then write that he had been taken home by the Gods.

Hiccup, since the death of his wife Astrid 6 years ago, had begun to think more deeply about what life really meant to him. His pondering always led him to one conclusion; life was the pursuit of one's dream. And what was Retired Chief Hiccup's dream? The answer, everybody knew; he wanted to be free. Not confined to a bed and forced to eat a diet of mush and bland things. Not barred from riding or skydiving or swimming or exploring the Grand Wilderness or

And as such, on the 26th day of the 3rd Cycle of the Sun, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, the 79 year old elder, mounted his faithful 79 year old Night Fury, and rode off into the horizon, bidding one final farewell to his family back on the village.

He rode past many familiar sights, places that he had, as a cartographer, marked down on maps and charts countless times. Slowly, as he went further and further from his village, the islands and landmasses became less and less familiar.

Soon, he had reached the furthest he had ever gone in his life, having travelled nonstop for 3 days and 2 nights. A remarkable achievement, he thought to himself, for a 79 year old Viking and a 79 year old dragon.

Stopping on a rather snowy coast, the two landed by the edge and pitched a large tent there, big enough for both of them. Toothless, despite being almost an octogenarian, was still able to frolic about happily. Fishing, too, was not a problem for the Night Fury. With each dive into the water, Toothless would come back with a wriggling, slimy fish.

As his companion dived into the chilly ocean, going after the fish, the Viking sat outside his tent, gazing at the colossal mountains beyond the beach. Tomorrow, when they set off again, they would have crossed the very boundaries of the map itself.

What lay beyond was truly uncharted.

Storm is the illegitimate son of the notorious sorcerer Karlaicuð Karlaicuðmus Þjúrinngen Hönþjah Bahnnur Herðerlingun Harij, who was commonly known as "Harij". Born 7 1/2 months after his father kidnapped a young Sapimer lady and forced himself upon her, Storm was a sick and premature baby. He had inherited his mother's golden hair and amber eyes, which his father saw as a premonition of his own downfall and destruction. As such, the deranged sorcerer performed an operation on the lady, causing her to die a slow and painful death.

From the first day he was born, Storm was subjected to horrifying and utterly depraved human experiments by his father. Prototype elixirs were force fed to him, sometimes resulting in horrifying effects. The sorcerer himself was careful not to kill him, sustaining the boy's life energy with other spells. The huge amount of pain suffered by Storm caused his hair to slowly turn snow white.

This went on for eleven years straight, until Harij, in a moment of brief ecstasy, performed an operation on his son. This operation was devastatingly agonising, but it had an effect the sorcerer never knew would happen; it gave Storm the ability to manipulate, produce and turn himself into fire. By the time he realised, it was too late; Storm, in his immense fury, incinerated his father, and along with him, the entire city of sorcerers with him.

With nothing in the world, and a severely shortened lifespan (according to his calculations, he had just 15 more years to live), Storm set off into the West, with the intention of killing himself in one final round of destruction. Destiny, however, had other plans for him, as became evident when he met the Golden Lion along the road...

Weaknesses
Storm is susceptible to attacks from mages who can control water. However, this does not apply to normal water. He can fall into oceans or lakes and remain unaffected.

Due to his traumatic past, he often remains very quiet, refusing to talk to anybody, and sometimes injuring people who approach him.

Personality
Storm has very violent tendencies, as noted by the few people who have seen him. Despite being silent most of the time, the boy will not hesitate to lash out with a burst of flames or with a weapon. His true personality is not known, due to it being completely overrun by his violent and suicidal tendencies.

Bio:
Consimari was born in the village of Kaarmi in the Kingdom of the East, high up in the mountainous areas. Little is known about him due to the rural nature of his past, except that he began to make a name for himself from around the age of 40, when he became the quartermaster of a pirate group that razed a number of villages to the ground, one of which was the Ashen village of Titraðionur (he does not know about Barius).

However, the group was slowly destroyed in a particularly strong blizzard that wrecked the usual paths which they took. Little did they know that the blizzards were summoned by Consimari; he had murdered a number of mage and mage students along the roads, and had stolen spell books for himself. Due to his mountainous past, he had a natural affinity with ice and snow, and could learn the ability very easily.

His reason for betraying his organisation is unknown, though he claims that he was sick of their "overly moral ideals" and wanted to switch allegiances.

After years of wandering (and amassing a following of around a hundred men), he eventually met the disgraced mage Harij, whom he and his private army pledged their allegiances to. Consimari publicly relinquished his position as General to Harij (whether he was sincere is disputed), and Harij, in exchange, gave Consimari a number of elixirs and potions to boost his powers, which the mercenary slowly became addicted to.

After Harij's sudden and unexpected death, though, an enraged Consimari decided to go on a rampaging spree, rapidly recruiting new soldiers from various places and gathering ingredients to replicate the elixirs given to him by Harij, so as to increase his own power. More than anything, however, he plans to hunt down this one Adumbian Gudbrand Storm, the boy who was strong enough to destroy the Disgraced Mage, so as to brainwash him into joining the Harikjaavam and subsequently, to commit an atrocity that Harij himself could only dream of…

Weaknesses
Despite his absolute mastery over his ice power, Consimari is very advanced in age. His eyes are clouded over with cataracts so thick that he is effectively blind. He makes up for it with a frighteningly accurate echolocation skill and his wand cum walking stick.

He is also suffering from a major withdrawal from the elixirs he had been addicted to, and often flies into horrifying rages, flipping tables and often freezing his own men (who have been so brainwashed that they still do not question him).

Personality
Consimari is a cruel and heartless man who will stop at nothing to obtain that which he wants. He is a Machiavellian, and believes that anything is permitted if it is for the "greater good", a phrase he has repeatedly failed to define in detail for selfish reasons.

He is highly fond of torture, and derives great pleasure from watching his victims suffer. He has appointed two of his strongest men to be his professional torturers. Whenever he is not planning his next move, he is busy thinking of torture methods.

Consimari is also a very selfish and greedy man, constantly raiding villages and massacring populaces in order to obtain material wealth for himself. He lacks any compassion whatsoever, and is not above

Born into a family of administrators and bureaucrats serving the Ashen Empire, Max was came into the world in Grovegarden while his parents worked there, handling Finances. Often traveling around with his parents, Max saw a lot of the world, and while he often saw people suffer, he did little to help. Once he was old enough, Max began training at The Great Northern Academy despite being an Elf. Often bullied and ridiculed, he became a cold and harsh person. When he wasn't training in the academy, Max could often be found learning the Skill the Porphyrogenitus were known for: Administration. He quickly learned how to go around with money and manage estates. He also developed a like for pretend battles with model armies, often beating his fellow classmates. After leaving the academy, Max lived in Westgrove and administered the city for the current King until he died all of a sudden. Seeking to put somebody loyal to the Ashen Empire and familiar with the region on the throne, the Empire appointed Max as King of Westergrove, a title which he resents. Since then, he has effectively administered the Kingdom.

Weaknesses/Personality: Cold and indifferent, Max isn't a very social person, he hates court life and will never be seen at a Ball or Gala. He's cold and indifferent to other peoples suffering, which in turn had lead him to ignore most court politics and the Kingdom's social problems. He is also seen as manipulatable by the court, due to his preference of delegating political decisions to certain people. He prefers to handle the practical stuff like improving productivity and managing the Kingdoms finances. He can also often be found training by himself.

Bio: Horan was raised by his parents, both priests of Skor, and was raised from birth to be a priest. He joined the Loyal of Skor, his parent's order, at the age of 16, when he took his first vows, and was initiated as a priest adept at age 18, and a full priest at 21. He spent two years in pilgrimage after his final initiation, traveling to Elderscar, where the original shrine to Skor is located, and meditating on magic and the teachings of Skor. His natural abilities of magic, uncommon for a human, allowed him to quickly master his chosen area of magic, Restoration, to the point where he could heal any wounds, and even use it offensively by stealing lifeforce from an opponent. Once he returned to his monestary, the Hall of Skor, he was chosen by the Abbot to become his heir, having seen it in a vision, and he died a few months later, leaving Horan to assume the Abbotry. Being an Abbot meant he was the main military leader of the order, so he leads his Battlepriests across the land to cleanse the world of abominations and spread the word of Skor.

Weaknesses: Not the best of physical fighters, the more advanced spells, such as full healing and life drain, take a phsyical and mental toll on Horan, necessitating rest and recovery, so he must pick and choose where he uses his more powerful spells.
Personality: Devoted to Skor, and compassionate towards all innocent creatures, and ruthless against heretics and abominations.

It was early in the morning, and Horan and his Battlepriests stood across the field from a group of heretics, who had challenged them to battle, and Horan accepted, seeing this as a chance to cleanse the world of heretics, especially ones as evil as these: Necromancers. Horan had a troop of around twenty priests, whereas the heretics numbered around sixteen. Horan uttered the word "Skor", and the seven destructionists shot firebolts into the heretics, killing two of them, but they countered by raising walls of bones, and then summoned a group of thralls to attack the priests. Horan ordered them to continue firing at the necromancers and to ignore the undead, and he had his summoners take care of them with wolves. Five more necromancers fell to the priests, whi had lost three of their own to dark magic cast by the necromancers. Seeing they were greatly outmatched by the experienced Battlepriests, the necromancers fled, summoning note thralls to cover their escape, which were quickly destroyed by the priests. They celebrate by praying to Skor, thanking him for their success, and then a more traditional celebration, clapping each other on the back, shaking hands, laughing, smiling, and cracking jokes, before moving on to resume their endless mission.

When not in battle, the cloak, leather trousers/boots/gloves and tunic remain with the addition of a simple hooded knee length shirt of fine linked mail.
Appearance: Tall, hawk nosed, and pale skinned with a wide thin lipped mouth, thin nostrils, blue ringed golden eyes in a permanent squint. he is a lean built man with insanity gleaming in his eyes, the only revealing part of his stone cold exterior. Despite his obvious Northern lineage, he has adopted a Southern taste of obnoxious finery and substances otherwise unseen by the shrewd, drunken Northern man. As such he often seems quite sickly. His demeanor is always polite, cordial, if not dry and boring until he is pushed to snapping.

Occupation (Job): Regent Vizier, essentially rules Southfall with an iron fist using the young "King" as a puppet face.
Bio: Born the only legitimate son of a cousin to the King and his Southron wife, Maulicius was expected to do great things from day one. He excelled intellectually, however did not come to enjoy swordplay until he was much older in his late teens. Originally thought soft, he grew bored easily with the mundane aspects of life preferring to intoxicate himself and research the sciences. This changed when he began experiencing the cruelty of the human world, and following his defeat in a fist fight, began training and carrying weaponry with him at all times. Excelling with the sword, he soon developed a respect and name for himself in the local tourney grounds. Following the decree of war between North and South, he was called home from his Grandfathers Villa outside of the Southern capitol to take up arms in his father place. With a brilliant mind and authoritative demeanor, he was set for leading the campaigns that earned him his standing with the Northern Lords. Obviously having Southern Lineage, he was a perfect choice to control the young Southern King, and thus keep the defeated Lords at bay.

Bio: Born the bastard son of a Southern noble and a whore, he was born into the gutter. Learning quickly to fight, he took to the pits of the underworld, slaughtering his way into a jail cell. Instead of the noose, he was sold to a mercenary company where he was shipped North. This was just in time to be assigned to a wealthy Nobleman's legion, where he quickly made a mark for himself. His Commander was none other than Maulicius Mulciberus, and he quickly grew to become not only a loyal servant but a close friend who eventually earned his freedom in the form of a Legatus' Gladius. He naturally followed Mulciberus' example and made his own name, continuing to be the will of Mulciberus in the capacity of Viceroy

Personality: A wounded individual who is absent a normal emotional template. Though seemingly controlled he is an unpredictable, dangerous mess.
