What in the world... Overmind narrowed her eyes, observing the situation. It would appear that now is the time to leave.
Quickly flying away, she shortly arrived at an abandoned factory, perfect for her needs. She got to work converting it to a facility worthy of the Overmind. From here, she would coordinate all of her Jump City efforts and, if she was successful, her machinations around the globe.

Ralph the Rat-16 Yrs-Central City

Ashley was a clear contrast to myself, as she was obviously excited to be here, and seemed to relish the idea of riding the air, I was my usual stoic demeanor. Moving casually alongside her as we approached a large clothes department in a Shopping Mall Parking lot. We did not plan to actually buy anything, or at least I did not. I ignored the glances we kept receiving as we entered the department. None of the clothes, except for maybe those in the kids section were tailored to fit us, and even then our frames were different than that of a average human child. So, that was yet another obstacle in the rather dull sight seeing mission.

Back on Mobius, we had our own stores run by Mobians for our own needs, as humans overlanders simply have different diets, fashions ect. It was then that Ashley piped up, and asked a question. One I felt was obvious, but I answered regardless.

"Yes, this is a different world. It seems humans are the dominant race here. It would make sense, Max is human. Although he seems more..." I paused as I searched for the word to describe his abilities, and these humans lack thereof. "Unique." I finally settled on.

It was then, as I was about to approach a cashier, and inquire about where we were at. A strangely dressed man in blue winter clothing approached instead and pulled a strange weapon, introducing himself as Captain Cold, and demanding the Jewelry from the small stand. The woman froze up, no pun intended as I stopped several paces behind him, as he seemed to not notice the standing 3 foot rat behind him.

I looked over at Ashley, with a look that asked Do you want to get involved? Although I knew she would, and so I began to focus telekinetic energy in my right palm as I waited for her to react.

Jake

"Whoa, lookit that snake!" Jake said, pressing his face against the glass. Within the tank, the massive cobra hissed at him, it's little forked tongue shooting out again, tasting the air. Jake loved snakes. They were cool.

Then, from outside the reptile house, Jake heard a scream. He spun around trying to find the source, and saw through a nearby window: dozens of people, running and screaming, away from something that Jake couldn't see. He turned to face his mom and dad, the look on his face making his intentions obvious. "Go on, Jake. It's not like anything could hurt you that bad." his father said.

Jake grinned, jumping through the window. He raced to where the giant slime beast was, but got delayed, helping old people and families with babies escape. By the time he reached Xyr and Van, the slime girl had already vomited up all her food. Gross. But cool.

Jake looked around. "So, er…where's the fight? And what's with the tangerine frisbees?"

Eldara raised an eyebrow at the mention of S.H.I.E.L.D and the Watchtower,
"And I take it they aren't exactly willing to share the knowledge are they? Typical. No wonder Cratora made me with data theft in mind."
She said with a shrug in response to the Rayertech question,
"Yes. Balthazar Rayer's weapons company. They're one of the big 7 corps on my homeworld, not that any of the others besides Cratora actually matter anymore. . . Guess you'll need the full story? "
She asked and leaned against the hull of the ship, preparing to recount what she could.
"My home world is a place of corporate battles and thousands of faceless salarymen. Those who don't sell out to the corporates live as outcasts of society, usually as mercenaries. But ever since Adraxin introduced the ION virus nobody's cared about anything but androids and clean-hand weapons. ION is the Internal Overwatch Nanocite. Adraxin thought it would curtail crime across the planet. The virus sits in the brain of organic bodies and when the creature attempts to do something that violates the laws laid down by Adraxin, it causes an aneurysm. . ."
She replied and a static sigh escaped her lips as she looked down at the snow.
"That's when clean-hand weaponry came in. It's designed to work in such away that it circumvents ION, not making the user a direct violator of laws. Things like toxins which cause insanity or manic depression are common. Anything that can cause a person to either commit a crime, or cause them to die of 'natural' causes is the best way to kill someone and avoid ION. Sure, you could hire a Suppressed Mercenary. Someone whose hands were free, who had undergone the process of suppressing the ION in their body. It worked, about 60% of the time, but the 60% that actually had a successful suppression charged a large fortune for their services. Androids are another way and cheaper than Smerks. Android assassins have long been a product of Rayertech and Cratora, but they never really worked very well under scrutiny. Everyone could tell an android apart because of how flawless the mimicry was, and because most had thermographic image enhancers fitted to their glasses and their contacts. Not to mention most android models became socially awkward after too long. Their coding couldn't handle prolongued verbal political intrigue, and often the corps found holes in the coding to test for an android using certain questions."
She continued, her arms crossed over her chest.
"And that's where I come in. I am the X-27 executioner. Cratora's breakthrough in synthetic emotional inorganic consciousness. My coding allows me to blend seemlessly with society, and my emotional synth allows me to throw even the most well thought out android probing questions. I can think the same way humans do, and then some"
She replied with a half-hearted chuckle.
"And that way I can get close to someone, and then sever their head from their shoulders before stealing all their company secrets and blowing the mainframes while I'm at it. But, I'm incomplete. I won't be blending anywhere now, and Rayertech will come looking for me. Not now, they'll still be busy cleaning up after that attack on Cratora, but in a cycle or two, they'll come looking."
She said with an indifferent shrug.
"Guess I'll just hop planets again when the time comes. Hope they don't make life to hard for whatever meatlings call this place home."

Frank Mayhem

"Wow. That's certainly a story. I mean, my backstory doesn't have anything related to this kind of madness... I think my database should have info on you planet, maybe I could check someday." I replied, then folded my ams again and looked to the ground. Her stoty does explain some things... Maybe I should also tell my own...

"Well, I guess I should return you the favor, huh? You don't seem like a completely awful person, and it's not like I am revealing top-secret info here. My race of androids are known throughout the Univefse as Celestial Androids. Basically, one of the Celestials, gods of this universe - Ismodeus - decided to forge an army of godlike androids, who would serve as his army and help conquer the Universe. It worked really well - each one was strong enough to wipe entire planets clean, and they were being produced in thousands every day, or even minute. But, of course, problems rose.

The Class A and Class B, the first Celestial Androids produced, did not fare well against very powerful threats - like, say, you and me. The expansion stopped, and thus, Ismodeus ordered the production of a new type of soldier - Class X." I raised my hand and pointed to a symbol on the arm of my red coat, which showed a dark red 'X' on it with two lions from both sides, holding a Heat Blade. Symbol of the X Corps. "They were made to be the strongest Celestial Androids, and androids at all, in existence. And they worked perfectly. Expansion continued.

About 50 years ago, a small group of two Class X and a dozen of Class A were sent to conquer a distant planet, Namchinno. This is technically where my story begins, as originally, I was a blank mindess slave, and god, I hate that fact. Anyway, the people at Namchinno were powerful magicians, thus, trying to negotiate with us, they gave us both consciousness. We became living, free-willed beings - the first. I later dawned the name 'Frank Mayhem', and arrived here, where I live to this day.

Anyway, anything else you want to talk about or need to do, or should I go now?"

Eldara
Eldara sighed as she listened passively to Frank's tale. It was another one of combat and strife, something she herself was tired of, and she had only been active for a year.
"Logically, there is no other reason for humans, or anyone to create androids. And yet, all this fighting is foolish. Because one side usually wants what the other has. And yet, it is necessary, because neither side is willing to back down."
She replied in a deadpan tone. Her cyber mind had spent an entire year learning what she could from the pre-loaded Cratora databases. Running simulations and philosophical equations. In the end she'd found that her creators fought for no reason other than material gain. Some didn't even fight for that. She was stirred from her hyper paced contemplations by his question. She shook her head and turned away,
"No, it's okay, I'll figure it out."
She said cheerfully and started moving in a random direction. That was just before a small, bronze flew in front of her, nearly crashing into her. She stared at the bronze ring as it floated in front of her. With one tentative hand she reached out and wrapped her metallic fingers around it, inspecting the symbol on it even as the glow began to return to the ring.
"Actually, Frank Mayhem? One last question. . . Any idea what this is?"
She asked and held it up for him to see. It was clearly no normal piece of jewelry, that much she knew.

"Look Miss Naja. That man caused millions of dollars in property damages and killed almost a dozen people. This is not the first time a meta human has caused damages. The latest exploit being the fight between an unknown man and Doomsday. Said fight destroyed an entire city. Had the Justice League not evacuated the city, thousands of lives would have been lost. Why don't you use your powers and end some of these threats. Permanently." The Speaker asked. "The world has people living in it that, let's be truly honest for a moment. Do not deserve to live."

"Let me give you a list of reasons. First off. I don't kill people. Second. How do I know who should die and who should live? I might be strong, but I'm not perfect. And I don't think my powers put me above the law. I do my best to follow it as much as I can. I'm registered and authorized with SHIELD. Our headquarters is open to anyone who wants to see it. I'm not a secretive person."

"A noble sentiment. But are you the heroes that the 21st century needs?"

"I've said my piece. I don't believe I should kill people. If you want it done that badly, you can do it yourselves, or pay someone else to. I follow the law. It's my job to. I'm not going to break it when it's inconvenient for me. That undermines my whole thing. I keep people safe. I don't want them to be afraid of me." She said and left, flying back home. "Hey big guy. Miss me?"

"What's up?" He asked and pulled her into a hug. "Course I did. How was... Atomic Skull? Funny name."

"Oh, he was a pushover. Hits kinda hard though. The UN was talking to me about nonsense. Why don't you kill people, they ask. Because I don't. I could make a mistake and then what? I'm in hot water."

"It's okay. Politicians are idiots. I don't know why we still have them." He chuckled a bit. "Come on. You think you got a round 2 left in you?"

"You know me all too well..."

Dinosaur Island-West Pacific
Ara had finally finished her base. Her hut, her firepit, her traps, and her friends had been taken care of-except the Mosasaurus. She had it swim to a sand bar, where sharks were in abundance, and stay there. She smiled, and then hisses from the bushes meant that the raptors and sabertooth tiger had returned from hunting. An earth-shattering stomp indicated that the T-rex had returned as well. In it's mouth were four deer. It layed them on the ground, then stomped off to hunt for itself. Ara skinned the deer, then took some of the meat, leaving the rest for her pterosaurs, the raptors, and the sabretooth. She tasted her meat and smiled, "I love this island. I hope no one finds it."

Unfortunately, her wish would not come true. For that very night, while she was asleep, one of her raptors nudged her. Her eyes flung open. Through a series of hisses between the two, she found that strangers were on the island. Az, the raptor, then hissed again, extracting his claw.

Ara shook her head, "Not until we find out if they are friend or foe." She snatched up her spear, rod, club, and sling. "I need some kind of satchel for this," she muttered.

Hiding in the treetops, a group of three rough men with strange weapons had come on shore. "This should be good enough until the ransom is paid," one of the men gruffly said.

"We're gonna be rich!" sang a second.

"Shut up you fools!" said the third, slapping the singing man over the face, "Not unless the package is safely on this island before the transfer is made."

"Okay, it's safe," the first said, waving back to the boat that more men stood in. Four more men stepped on shore, with one carrying a body over his shoulder.

"Our package is here, boss," one said. The third man on shore, obviously the leader, said, "Aye, now we be richer than our wildest dreams. Once the U.S. Government agrees to our 50 million, we send the body back-headless." He took a machete from his side and went toward the man who had been referred to as "the package."

Ara gasped, swung down from the treetops on a vine with a warrior call, and tackled the leader. The other men whistled rudely, and one said, "A long way from home, aren't we, pretty? No one to hear you scream." He pointed the strange weapon at her, then two raptors leaped on him. Three others aimed their guns at the raptors, and fired. The raptors only roared at the loud noise, for the bullet had bounced off their scales, while a pterosaur swooped down and grabbed one of them, dragging him screaming into the sky.

The leader was able to kick Ara off, and she was immediately attacked by the man whom had been left in charge of the "package." She shoved the spear inside his throat. She turned to see the other two men running back to the boat. The leader glared at the men running, "Come back here, ye filthy cowards!"

The men in the boat began rowing madly, then one saw a long neck peer from the water. The last thing heard from them was their dying screams as the Plesiosaur dragged them under the water.

Ara's attention had been distracted by the men escaping. Her eyes snapped back to the leader, who now held the machete at the throat of the "package." "One move and he dies," the leader threatened. A loud crash shook the ground. The pirate turned to see the T-rex behind him. Ara took this moment to free the hostage, while the T-rex snapped the screaming pirate up in his jaws.

Ara took the bag off of the hostage's head. The stranger fainted at pure sight of the T-rex. Ara took out the Rod of Favor and said, "O holy Skygod, I ask you to guide me to his home so that he may be there." Smoke billowed from the rod and a voice commanded, "Follow the smoke." The smoke circled across the ocean. Ara took the unconscious stranger and put him on one of the Pterosaurs with her riding behind.

Hours later, as the light of day appeared across the horizon, the smoke stopped in front of a large, white building. Ara landed, then took the stranger off of the Pterosaur as dozens of Secret Service agents swarmed around her. She climbed back on her Pterosaur and flew off as the Secret Service fired gunshots at her. Unknowingly, Ara had saved the President of the United States of America.

Both were relatively tired having not used their powers to bolster their stamina. So the "round 2" was closer to a nap than anything else. Naja awoke to the sound of her cellphone going off. Alex was still out cold. She checked her phone to see that it was just a reminder of how much data she had left for the month. But what caught her eye was not only the fact that they left the TV on, but the fact that there seemed to be a Superhero group who was fighting... The very man she knocked out earlier in the day. Atomic Skull. She grabbed her costume and shot to the area of the fight, which seemed to be nearly over. Atomic Skull was on his knees and the bright flames were almost completely gone. She considered going home, but then heard the words "Do it."

At which point, the leader of the group pointed his finger at Atomic Skull's head like it was a gun, and his eyes turned green. She could see the particles being manipulated and tackled him just a nanosecond too late. Atomic Skull's head exploded. "Well now." The man said with quite possibly the most British accent ever. "It looks like we got called out gang." He said.

"What?! No! You just killed that guy!"

"And the people are cheering." He said and pointed to the crowd, which was indeed cheering over the death of a murderer. "I don't see what the problem is here, love. We did the world a favor by puttin' that bastard out of their misery."

"You can't just run around and... Kill people like that!"

"Don't see the cops complainin'. I mean, you had your chance to do the same thing and you screwed it up. You let him lived and because of that, 4 more people died. I killed one. You killed four. Who's the real criminal here?" He said as the rest of his gang came to back him up. "I'll give you a hint. It ain't us. But how about this. WE can have ourselves a little brawl. On the Moon where no one but us will get hurt. You win, we back off. We win? Well. Let's just say you really won't get the chance to make the same mistake twice. How's about... Tomorrow. High noon. Like the good old American Westerns? Of course you could always chicken out. And of course, we'll be live streamin' it. So the whole world can see who's right and who's wrong."

"I'll... You don't get..." She said frustrated at the whole situation. "Fine. Noon tomorrow."

"See ya then, love." He said and all four members of the group vanished. With nothing left to do she flew home where she found Alex waiting.

"You like getting yourself into trouble don't you?" He teased. "I did a little research on those guys while you were out. The internet is a beautiful thing. Coldcast. The big black guy. He can absorb and project quite a bit of energy. The world's most British man, Manchester Black. Powerful telekinetic. The other lizard lady. Menageria Pamela. Some sort of alien parasite. The Chinese guy. Hat. Yes that's what he goes by. Magic. Not as good as me, but he does have a magic hat... I mean though... They're not THAT wrong."

"Don't you start too."

"Relax. You know I only kill space Hitlers."

"I've got a plan..." She said and explained it to him.

"Oh ho... That is a great idea."

Asumar then grabbed a hold of both Kazuko and Ryuichi before he spirited them away to Earth, landing on the soft grass of said planet within a matter of seconds. Asumar inwardly applauded himself upon mastering the Rapid Flicker Teleportation Technique, it allowed him to go anywhere he desired within a mere second, if he knew where the location was, Asumar could be there within a mere second "Welcome back to Earth, where no matter you go, there is always antics, and mischief taking place twenty-four-seven!" Asumar said, sliding down onto the grass and laying down on it, his son joining him quickly jumping onto his father, causing Asumar to chuckle as he closed his eyes and relaxed.

Kazuko smiled when he saw both his brother and his nephew relaxing on the soft grass, even though Sigma Galli Prime was similar to Earth itself, Kazuko couldn't lie: Earth was always a hotbed for activity, anytime, and anywhere, but for now, it seemed as if a peaceful atmosphere had settled down on the Earth, but Kazuko was still doubtful that it would last "It won't be here for long, so might as well take this chance while it lasts..." Kazuko joined both Asumar and Ryuichi, allowing the cool breeze to brush past his black hair.

Noon the following day...

Naja made her way to the blue area of the moon. The part colonized by the Inhumans and made breathable. "Hope you don't mind the oxygen. Us wee mortals y'know." He said. "The whole world is watching us! Let's be sure to give them a good show!" Manchester said and it was time for the fight to begin. His first course of action was to sit and watch while the other three went on their assault. Pamela created a swarm of snake like creatures that shot at Naja, some of them actually managing to grab her on her arms and legs, though she countered this by pulling Pam out of the air and onto the ground.

Coldcast didn't give her a second to catch her breath. He blasted her in the back with lightning and kept the pressure on until he grabbed her and put quite a bit of juice into it. Hat decided to jump in and opened his magic hat which unleashed a powerful wave of magic that blasted her across the moon. Naja got up and decided to go after Manchester while the other three were a fair distance away, however, this proved to be a terrible idea as Manchester's eyes glowed bright green once again and Naja dropped like a stone right at his feet without him so much as moving. "How's it goin' love?" He asked. "Oh right. You're in the middle of a seizure. Reading your mind is a pain in the arse, but I sure as hell can muck about with your brains." Then sent out another blast of energy that blew out several blood vessels in her head causing her to painfully bleed out of her tear ducts, nose and ears.

"All those capillaries are like little tubes of concrete, but still vulnerable. I wonder if your boyfriend is watchin' you die on the moon. You may or may not void your bowels here in a second. But that's not going to be something you have to worry about much longer. Coldcast. Give the folks at home a nice grand finale." He said and put a pisonic barrier are himself, Hat and Pam. Naja tried to stand up but felt Coldcast slam his foot on her back and gathered all of his remaining energy, and hit her with everything he had at point blank range, seemingly obliterating Naja. A small piece of her black and white outfit floated down from the air and Manchester caught it. "Huh. How is it that no matter how completely you obliterate these guys some little shred of their costume still manages to make it through."

"The difference? Well my queen of Asgard, I have been sent here to explain the distinction between us and the fools in the collective." He spoke, to which Aeshandra rolled her eyes.

"The Kabal is a group of hedonists Valka. Selfish ones too. I would not heed the honeyed words of someone like Meloku."

"Hedonists?" Meloku chuckled. "You say that like it's a bad thing. It has gotten us further than you. Our research and testing into magic, pain and pleasure has dug up more results than your collective ever has."

"Yes, but at what cost! Your souls wear the blood you have shed like a badge of honour. Blood of other beings. Merely to suit your own selfish ends."

"You call us selfish? You work to the same goal we do, yet you do not have the will to do what is necessary to secure our races future. You're just like us, merely a ineffective, inefficient and altogether boring copy."

The tension was palpable as the two aliens locked eyes. Magic energies building around and within as they did so.

Asumar said with a smirk, watching the battle between Naja and a group of people who were supposedly working for the government take place "One day it is as peaceful as can be, and now shit is already hitting the fan against between super humans." Asumar then turned to Kazuko, who was calmly watching the battle taking place "Brother, you owe me money, you betted that no battle would take place while I betted that there would be the next day, be sure to pay up when we go home." Asumar said with a chuckle, clearly enjoying the one-sided battle that was taking place, it was true that it was unfair for Naja, but it was more or less like a performance for him, considering that he knew for a fact that Naja wouldn't simply lay down and die "She'll be back up in a moment, just watch what happens next." Asumar said to Ryuichi before he turned back to watch and see what would happen next.

Kazuko, was less than happy about the battle, it wasn't fair whatsoever! It was a group of people beating down a single person, Kazuko was also in disbelief at how there would only be a brief time of peace before it devolved into a conflict between the super humans "And here I thought our territory was dysfunctional, one day there is just silent peace on this world, and then the next day, it devolves into anarchy the next, I guess old things will never change eh?" Kazuko asked his brother, who gave only a single nod as he continued watching "I swear, someday, the government is going to step in and stop such meaningless battles," Kazuko turned his head to Asumar before speaking once more "Shall we bet on it Asumar, do you think that the Earth's governments are going to just step in and do something about it?" When he heard his brother reply that the bet was on, Kazuko couldn't stop himself with stifling a laugh.

"I finally get it. I guess I just didn't want to see it." Naja voice rang out from literally every direction. "It all makes sense. I made the mistake of treating you people like... People. I can see what everyone wants now. They don't want a hero to inspire them or treat them with respect. They want someone who will put the animals DOWN." She said and in probably the creepiest laughter she could muster an enormous vortex took with with two bright red eyes in the center. The vortex surrounded Hat and after it passed over him, it looked like his body had been sucked dry of everything. Bones, blood, organs were all gone. It was just his skin. "One down. Three to go. Who's next?" She asked and the Vortex dissipated with her nowhere to be seen.

"Goddammit! Hat!" Manchester shouted and looked around. "Where is she!? I can't find her mind!" Pamela decided to fly up into the air to get a good look at the area and see if she could spot Naja. This proved to be a very poor idea, once she got to a reasonable height, a bright blast of white energy vaporized everything from her neck down. Her head plummeted down not too far from where the two remaining men were standing. "Holy shit... She's... She's playing it our way! This wasn't supposed to happen! Bunny! Get us out of here!" Bunny, being their massive semi-sentient, inter-dimensional ship warped Chester and Coldcast down into the center of Manhattan. "Alright! Coldcast! When she gets here, me and you are gonna flatten this whole city! She can't survive that!"

"I-I can't! I used everything I had on the moon! She killed Pam! I swear, when I get my hands on her, I'm going to suck all that juice out of her!"

"Awe..." Naja said floated down from behind them. "What's the matter? This was your game. And now you don't want to play anymore simply because you're losing?" She asked and walked past Coldcast towards Manchester. Which left her open to Coldcast, who grabbed her arms. "Oh right... You want my energy? Okay. Sure. Take some." She said and grabbed his arms. At first it seemed Coldcast had her dead to rights. But then his facial expression went from "I got her" to "Oh shit!" Naja was forcing all of her energy into him. Which was more than his body could safely handle and... He exploded, wiping out half a city block. "And then there was one." She said and turned her attention to Manchester.

No More Heroes - Henry Pym, AKA, Equation - One Month Ago
My name is Henry Pym, Scientist Supreme of Earth-783. Over the past 10 years, the self proclaimed Hero "Trophy" has been wandering Earth, overthrowing governments and driving regular humans insane. The fool doesn't realize what he's begun. When he disappeared less than a week ago, I realized that now was the perfect time to strike- To destroy his foundations and remove the variable from the equation.

I've summoned my allies for my plan. Prodigy, aka Richard Gilmore, enhanced human. His suit gives him superhuman durability and strength, along with limited flight. When Cassie Gilmore AKA Dusk, a Sorceress of great power, was killed in the one of the Great Waves of the Atlantean war, her husband took up her mystical cloak and designed his Prodigy suit around it. I recruited him as muscle a few years back, with the promise of eventual revenge on both of the underwater kingdoms that called themselves Atlantis.

Vance Astrovik, aka Penitentiary, mutant. After escaping the Mutant Genocide, Prodigy took him in at the age of seven, where he and Dusk raised him. After Dusk's death, Vance, now sixteen, took up the cowl to work with Prodigy. I didn't turn down the free muscle. Telekenetic, prime physical condition. Even without his powers, he'd make fine muscle.

Cain Marko, the Juggernaut. A living weapon for hire, he's been in my employ a few years now. No further introduction necessary.

John Walker, aka the Warden, augmented human. With cybernetic enhancements inside his limbs, he can hold his own. He worked for Luthor's regime until he was cut loose for his rash and unpredictable actions- Perfect for my line of work.

Last but certainly not least comes Frank Simpson, aka Nuke. Deranged, unpredictable, survivor of the Oak Ridge nuclear incident during the Manhattan project. He developed numerous superpowers, all related to enhanced strength and durability, which activate and deactivate with complete randomness. Regardless, he fits his name- Throw him in a battle, and he kills everybody indiscriminately. Penitentiary has instilled mental blocks preventing him from killing his teammates.

Tomorrow night, Wakanda falls.

Lazarus walked out from the GCD HQ before sitting on his motorbike. He talked to Delacroix through the HUD. "Well, things didn't go as planned. We weren't allowed to help the GCD, the JLA and the Avengers are back. The Bat told us to help them out. Oh and the GCD's final plan is to merge with the GCPD. Your orders, ma'am?" Lazarus asked.

Sonja, sitting at her massive desk, rubbed a hand across her face. The situation had spiraled out of control, and there was no benefit for her here. The JLA and Avengers would clean the streets, and she wouldn't make a dime.

Even though her attacks didn't seem to do much of anything other than cause the giant green thing some pain and discomfort, Kirisvala sustained her monstruous roar for as long as she could, her powerful pair of lungs allowing her to hold it for far, far longer than any normal human could shout before going aphonnic. All throughout this, more and more magic beams emerged from the air around her, pelting Xyrixia. But eventually, even though it was due to something completely unrelated to her efforts, the young Hadrian saw the giant green girl regurgitate a lot of living creatures that hadn't seemed to be inside her earlier, and shrink to a tiny fraction of her previous height as a result. It was clear that she hadn't had anything to do with it, but, needless to say, the bubbly Hadrian wasn't the sharpest knife in the cookie jar, and so, after seeing the green girl shrink, she allowed herself to stop, every magic beam still in the air dissipating instantly, no more coming forth anymore. The air around her continued reverberating for several moments, but the building stopped shaking and the loud roar coming from her was no longer a thing. Instead, she fell to her knees, gasping for breath, all out of air due to the sustained roar and a little bit tired from all the magical energy she'd just spent.

But even then, there was a smile on her face, and when she recovered at last, the pinkish red-haired girl stood up and looked towards Rikki and Mars, doing an excited little fistpump with both of her hands, the cuteness of which was likely hampered a bit by the fact that said hands were in fact massive claws. "We did it!" She shouted at the two of them, her tail beginning to draw circles in the air once again, spinning very rapidly and periodically smashing into the ground, though it did not seem to carry enough force to do more than scratch the rooftop of the building she was on, and it certainly didn't seem to hurt her. "I knew we could do it! I knew we could stop the green woman! We make a great team!" She continued, flashing a happy grin full of sharp and pointy teeth, completely oblivious to the fact that they weren't really the ones who managed to get her to stop.

Then, however, she realized that the others were no longer there. Instead, they were below, interacting with the green slime girl and another human person. Jumping down, she dropped from the several story building, landing in a hand-stand, her massive claws absorbing most of the impact, leaving her unharmed from the fall.

"Hello! I'm Kiris, nice to meet you all!" She said to them cheerfully, before turning towards Xyri. "Sorry for shouting at you, but the flying boy told me you were causing trouble and I wanted to help."

Sarah patted Hanah's head upon hearing her request. "Sure, I'll get that for you as soon as a waiter comes." She said with a small smile, before glancing in the direction of the two actors cosplaying as Superman and Batman. Her smiled turned wider as she realized what was going on. Hanah likely didn't know that they were just actors, but at the same time, the eldest Grimm didn't really feel eager to crush her youngest sister's fantasy, so she thought of something else to say.

As she tried to think of something, though, the pale woman noticed the blond man from before staring their way. She only glanced in his direction, but it was enough to tell that he was approaching. Once he arrived at the table, she looked at him with calculated surprise. "Oh, this place? I'm afraid there's not much we can tell you. We only just arrived, and this is the first time we visit, so we don't know much about it, beyond the fact that they have a respectable menu." She giggled, before turning back to Hanah, patting her on the back. "Say, why don't you go and find out by yourself if those two are who you think they are?" She suggested, and then looked back at John.

"Anyway, my name is Sarah, and these are my sisters. A pleasure to meet you." She said with a charming smile.

Gilbert smiled when he noticed that the compliment was well-received, relieved that he hadn't made a fool of himself there. He was about to say something else, when he heard her ask if he was checking to make sure the mark on his chest was gone. His smile faded and he had a slight frown on his face as he nodded, not angry-looking, but rather simply serious. "Yes, that's right. I was checking to see if the clock was still there." He stated, but then shrugged. "But it looks like it's gone. We've gotten rid of Ku for good, thanks to you." He smiled slightly at that last comment, though he seemed a bit nervous about it nonetheless. "Still, though... I can't help thinking about what the Time Demon said before dying. It worries me..." He said, looking up at the sky.

"They're already here."

He shuddered and shook his head, telling himself that it was alright. Hadrimmelis said so herself after all, and he had reason to believe the word of a millenary dragon.

"But nevermind that." He said firmly, more to himself than to Aru, though he turned to look at her afterwards. "So... is there anything you want to do now? I don't exactly have much to do for the time being." He commented.

"Then I will aid you when the time comes, Ashyandra. It is the least I can do after what you've done for us here." The World-Dragon telepathically replied after hearing out the Returned Vokornian's words. There were many threats arriving during these dark days, but it was precisely through these hardships that she had to remain strong, for the sake of her son, of her children the Hadrians, and of the universe as a whole.

Sitting down on her throne after stepping through the Serpent Hole, Hadrimmelis sighed. A World-Dragon could hardly feel tired, but what she felt at the moment was close.

"Lady Adrianne, you're back!" Spoke a tall man with enormous claws and a bone-like tail, along with four sets of horns upon his head and a pair of leathery wings on his back. He was clad in golden armor, with missing gauntlets and slots specifically crafted for his wings and tail, and he held a massive warhammer in his hands. As soon as he saw the human form of Hadrimmelis sitting on her throne, he fell to one knee and bowed his head.

"Rise, Astormael. What do you have to tell me?" The disguised dragon spoke, leaning her head on her fist.

"Our spies detected that the prodigy of the traitor family of the mountains is missing, but beyond that, there is nothing to report, my lady. Annriven, Marakkan and Balavar uphold their truce, and it doesn't look like a war will come anytime soon." The royal knight, Astormael, said. Hadrimmelis internally smiled faintly. She knew all of this already, as she knew everything that happened on her surface and was inside the minds of every creature living on her, but that didn't mean that upholding appearances was a bad thing.

"Very well." She nodded. "I will keep this in mind. You may leave, Astormael." She stated. The golden-clad knight glanced towards Hadrimmelis' side before leaving. Noticing the direction of his gaze, the World-Dragon looked, and noticed that her younger sister had followed her through the portal. Of course, Astormael knew better than to question when the Eternal Ruler chose to bring visits, but it was still an odd occurence.

"You have more questions for me, Yami, don't you?" The scarlet dragon said, waving her hand and creating another throne in front of her own. The doors were sealed shut telekinetically, so there was nothing to worry about. "Please, speak."

"Oh shit, she's pissed." Was all that Asumar could muster before he could sense the energy of Coldcast, Manchester, and Naja appear somewhere within Manhattan followed by a massive explosion that wiped out half a city block of Manhattan, causing Asumar's eyes to slightly widen "That, doesn't look good at all." Asumar and Kazuko were quick to respond, flying as fast as they could towards the battle between Naja and Manchester, but considering how much power was being thrown around by Naja, Asumar decided to play it safe and land on one of the many buildings that would be out of the way of the two combatants, wanting to not get in the way and die like last time "This should be far enough Kazuko." Asumar said as he turned his attention to the battle that was about to go underway "When I said that this battle was going to be entertaining, I didn't mean for it to end up with half a block of people dying instantly for god sake." Asumar said with an obviously annoyed sigh.

Kazuko shared some of Asumar's thoughts, but he didn't want for the peace to be ruined by such a battle, but now it was going out of hand! Half a block of people already dead, three people killed directly by Naja's hand, and now property destruction on a massive scale, this fight had to stop soon or more damage would take place within Manhattan "This is getting out of control, this has to stop soon or Naja might do something that is much more worse than this!" Kazuko exclaimed silently as he readied to get up, but with no sign of jumping into the battle "Naja needs to get a hold of herself or I have to step in-" Kazuko stopped as Asumar turned to him."And do what?" Asumar interrupted as he elbowed Kazuko roughly "You know good and Damn well that If we try to step in the way, it will only get worse, we need to just stay down and let Naja do her job, and that is taking care of Manchester, just be patient."

Frank Mayhem

"I... I have no idea." I spoke after taking a look at the ring. To be fair, I did have an idea on what this thing could be, but nothing solid. It let out a large energy signature, and was overall really odd looking... You know, I could maybe see it as from one of those costumed superheroes, but it's not green...

"Oh, and before you ask - I didn't set this up. This is not a proposal or anything. And to be fair, it couldn't have been." I clarified. Just in case.
I have a severe case of addiction to writing. At least 3k words every day is my fix.

Manchester took a step back. "You... You... YOU CRAZY BITCH! YOU KILLED MY TEAM!" He said and sent out a blast of telekinetic energy, but just as it looked like it was going to hit Naja, she vanished and reappeared several feet to the side. He tried this again and again until she wound up not one foot away from from him.

"Your team of killers. And guess what? They won't be killing anyone else." She said with a crazy look in her eyes. Dried blood still stained her face but she was still up and kicking despite the damage Manchester had caused to the insides of her head. Her fist lifted into the air and Manchester put up a forcefield. Which Naja began to pound on. "I've finally bought what you've been selling! You were right! Isn't that what you wanted?!" She shouted and after a few blows, the psionic shield shattered and sent Manchester sliding back across the ground. She just started walking towards him and Manchester let out a continuous wave of his telekinetic blast.

To Naja, it was like a light breeze. Despite the fact that Manchester's telekinesis was ripping up chunks of the street, tearing the sides off of buildings and sending cars across the city, Naja kept walking as if nothing was happening. When she got close, he summoned as much debris, including tree limbs, rocks, cars, anything he could lift and smashed it all onto the incoming snake woman. She smashed through it as if it were made of paper and kept walking towards him. "How does it feel Black? To be the victim? To watch your dreams, and everything you hold dear, die knowing you were helpless to stop it?" She asked.

"LET ME SHOW YOU, YOU SELF-RIGHTEOUS HYPOCRITE!" He screamed at the top of his lungs and blasted Naja with every single ounce of his power. It was actually enough to not only knock her off her feet, but it actually sent her backwards and opened several small cuts on her arms and legs. She staggered to her feet and her eyes glowed bright red. "Heat vision? You can barely stand let alone fry my face!"

"Who said anything about your face?" She asked and Manchester was confused for the split second it took for Naja to lobotomize him. A splitting pain was felt for a split second and he fell to his knees as Naja walked over, looking badly injured and bleeding.

"What... What did you do to me? You're not dyin'... I'm thinkin' it... But..."

"Heat vision. Focused through your pupils like a scalpel. Instant lobotomy. I scanned your brain for anything not normally found in a normal one. And when I found it. I cut. It. Out. Your powers are gone Manchester." Naja said and slapped him. Hard enough that he spat up blood. She hit him again, and again until he tripped over himself using his arms to try and protect himself.

"Please! You don't do this!" He begged.

"I do now. Thanks for opening my eyes." She said, grabbed his shirt, brought out her vicious looking claws, and was just about to deliver the killing blow, bringing her hand just inches away from Manchester's head. "Scary. Isn't it?" She asked. "All I have to do it lose control of myself for one second. And look how easily I took you all down. Here's the real kicker." Naja said and leaned in uncomfortably close to Manchester's ear. "I was holding back."

"It... It doesn't matter now!" He smirked. "They all saw what you did! You're done!"

"Not really. Watch this. Alex! It's over!" She shouted and Alex floated down, with the three members of Manchester's team all trying to break Alex's barriers, and all of the civilians that were supposedly killed during the fight. "See. I had this all planned out from the beginning. My boyfriend, him over there in the purple, is a really good sorcerer. I never killed your team. He made it look like I did, but no one was hurt. Okay maybe a bit, but no one died. I had to let you beat me up a bit so he could get into position, but I wanted to show the world how scary it would be to have a bunch of madmen like you around. Who are very powerful... And murder. Not something anyone wants."

Alex dropped the three other member's of The Elite on the ground right next to Manchester. "Your powers are gone and the police are on their way." He said and his hands glowed brightly, which caused nearly all of the damage the fight between Naja and Manchester to be repaired inside a few seconds. "You're lucky it was us. You did the same thing to Thor..." He said and let out a long whistle. "He probably would have actually killed you. I just used smoke and mirrors. Thor? His lightning is pretty real."

Asumar finished for his brother as he shot up and shook his head, not expecting the battle to take such a turn "So all of that, was nothing but smoke and mirrors without us even knowing?" Asumar said out loud, talking to no one in particular. However, a smile formed on his face as he started chuckling, he now knew that Magic was not to be bullshitted with whatsoever "Wow, I'm genuinely amazed, to think that Magic would be so potent and able to affect everything from such a long range, I'm genuinely impressed, like seeing Kilian's Speed Force impressed, probably more than that." Asumar turned to Kazuko "I should try my shot at magic, don't you thin brother?"

Kazuko let out a sigh as he placed his palm on his face and shook his head "Come on Asumar, is that all you can think about, getting more powers, first it was Killian's Speed Force and your 'observing' as you call it when many people would call it stalking and now it's Magic? seriously?" Kazuko said, trying his hardest to hold back a laugh "When it came to Kilian with you, it looked like you had a thing for the speedster, first it was trying to defeat him, then you obtained his power, and then you tried to beat Kilian at his own game with the Speed Force the absolute minute you obtained it. Seriously, it looks like you can't teach an old dog new tr-"

"Finish what you say and I swear to whatever almighty god that exists that your going to find yourself back home with something more than bruises." Asumar impulsively replied, causing Kazuko to break out laughing at Asumar's tone, even though he hated to admit it, Kazuko was right in every way. It seemed as if Asumar was stalking Kilian, this thought caused him to let out an annoyed groan as he just realized this when he should have realized this years ago, but instead of continuing the argument, Asumar turned away from Kazuko and flew off in the direction of where he left Ryuichi, but not before he yelled back to his brother that he expected to get the money he won from Kazuko in the bet, this caused Kazuko to chuckle and reply to him that he won't try to stalk on Asumar's betting habits as he too took off in the direction of Ryuichi.

Kylie couldn't even comprehend at this moment, she couldn't remember any of the fun times her, Katie, Eric, and even Leon shared. Right now, she was at a loss. Which was even more astonishing than her feet touching the ground. Kylie isn't at a loss for words. That's just something about her that just... doesn't happen. But then again, never before had she lost someone this close to her. Distant relatives as a kid, sure, but kids don't comprehend death like adults do. This was real, it actually happened.

And now, Kylie could do nothing but cry.

Eldara
"I would have said no anyway."
She replied nonchalantly as she turned the ring over in her palm. She could feel the faint energy signature radiating from it. It must have been tech, because the nanites in her system were drawn to it as well, although which world made tech like this was beyond her. Wait . . . No, this was Oan. A world her Cratoran database identified as troublesome due to their interference in some off-world affairs of a rather unsavory variety.
"It is an Oan ring . . . Perhaps I should put it on?"
She said aloud as she held it over her finger and slipped it on. Nothing happened. She could feel the power stronger now, a lot stronger, but it was as if the ring was waiting for something to activate it. She attempted to establish a cyber link with it, but there was no cyber part to link with. That was when the electric sensation shot up her arm, causing her to wince.

Where Knowledge lacks, and
Reason Rare
When Logic's void, We'll bring it
there
To Void Ignorance, in Day and
Night,
Through power Bronze , The Truth
we Light

The phrase echoed through her programmed memory, clearly an affectation of the ring. She looked at her arm curiously and spoke,
"Where Knowledge lacks, and Reason Rare . . .
When Logic's void, We'll bring it there
To Void Ignorance, in Day and Night,
Through power bronze, The Truth we Light."
She said before a plethora of updates scrolled across her vision.

New technological interface established
Power source: Oan Ring #0
Power Type: Unidentified
Upgrades required:

Nanorobotic material strengthening
Nanorobotic energy alteration
Systematic optimization
Exoskeletal alterations

New energy conduit detected:
ID: Oan Ring
Energy Form: Unknown

Upgrades commencing

At that point she was engulfed in a deep bronze light, before emerging in a new 'uniform' of sorts. She looked to Frank as the ring tranformation completed, her hair a new auburn, the latent electrochromatic cells being activated by the transformation.
"Well then. It certainly is Oan . . . "
She said pointedly.

Hehe... This time the burden of mistake is on him! I didn't even drop my guard yet, and as he vanished from my view, I immediately turned around and blocked the kick that was coming my way with my elbow. I see he is getting a bit desperate... The Saiyan's following attacks were countered with a simple shooting up to the sky, a few dozen meters upward.

"I can surely say you are getting clumsy!" I exclaimed from above. Perhaps I should use the Psycho Threads now... Ehh, it would be too easy. And unfair. And forbidden. But I'll still keep the idea in mind. Just in case. Instead, I descended towards Hiroshi's head with considerable force.

Narrowing his eyes, Hiroshi stared at Itaku, his features hardening as he focused his ki, his aura picking up as the golden energies around him grew more and more furious. Another wave of force rolled off Hiroshi as he slid his left foot back, tensing his frame.

" Clumsy? This is still a warm up lady! I've still got a few tricks left up here." Hiroshi smirked, tapping his temple with a free finger. Eyes widening, Hiroshi almost yelped as she rapidly descended upon him, only avoiding the axe handle strike at the last second.

With a burst of raw speed, Hiroshi blitzed forward, arriving eithin her reach, Hiroshi twisted around in the air, spinning around with full momentum and snapping his leg out, aiming for her left side.

Itaku

Ow, ow, ow. The swift kick from him surely hurt. Quite a lot. I was starting to lose steam, and he was still going strong. I'm nit an attrition fighter. I'm one who goes in, beats the opponent with strong strikes and before the energy reserves deplete, and leaves. And the battle wasn't going as I wanted t to. I needed to conserve my energy, just in case I need a last resort attack to turn the tide. That is why I didn't dodge, but instead took the hit.

I briefly looked around. No members of my team were watching. Good. That means I can't be reported for breaking the law. I prepared my move. Oh, I'll break the code and the law soo hard...

"I'm sorry in advance for doing this..." I spoke slowly and with some sadness in the words, then stretched ou my hands and unleashed a wave of strings at Hiroshi. These were the Psycho Threads, and they will immediately try to wrap themseves around my victim and suck out his energy. "Please, don't struggle... I don't want you killed..."
I have a severe case of addiction to writing. At least 3k words every day is my fix.

Read my RWBY fanfiction!

Dinosaur Island
Ara layed the Staff of Favor on the ground. Smoke billowed out of it. "You have called, Almighty One?" asked Ara.

"Yes, Ara the Undefeated, Chieftess of the Tribals, Mortal yet Immortal," the voice of the Skygod boomed, "the Tribals have mourned the death of Unga, the Great Chief. Your allies in Asgard know not of this tragedy. No one has come or gone since Unga died."

"I suggested going to them for aid against Sawa's rebellion," Ara replied, "but Ulit said that I needed to prove my strength as a leader."

"Yes, and you proved it, rather than taking the simple path," the Skygod replied proudly, "which proved to me that you are far more worthy than your brother."

"Do I need to take any of the Tribals with me?" asked Ara, curiously, "I mean, I don't exactly look like the Tribals. They have darker skin and darker hair than me."

"Humor an ancient Skygod," the Skygod replied, "besides, you need to know that you have strong allies."

"Yes, O Skygod," Ara replied, as the smoke cloud disappeared. First she would bring a gift for Odin, King of Asgard. She then would make herself presentable. A red flower should do the trick. As for the gift, she would go get a raptor. That would be a gift that an Asgardian would like. However, she would need a flute to tame him. She fingered her bone necklace, and vanished into the Tribal Lands.
Asgard
The raptor was on a chain, and the flower was in Ara's hair. She trudged to the gates, as messengers scurried to Valka concerning the "Mortal dressed as a Tribal." "I hope this works," Ara muttered.

She had to bite her lip to avoid crying again. "Kylie." She spoke. She couldn't quite form the words correctly. "He's Dead..."

She was feeling the same kind of betrayal and guilt that Katie was. She looked over at Kylie and wondered how she would react.

"Wait, what?" Kylie's surprised smile lingered too long. This... wasn't a smiling situation. "Eric's... what? He's... dead?" Kylie just stood there silently. Actually stood, letting her feet touch the ground because how could she keep floating at this time?"

Tears began to well up in her eyes. "You... what your saying is..." Kylie thought for half a second that Katie might have been joking. A cruel joke, one that Kylie herself might have played, once upon a time. But Cora's expression said it more. An android, Cora wasn't great at keeping secrets like that or participating in jokes. This was real.

Katie looked down, stiffling her own tears. She felt that now was not the time for her tears. She had time to mourn before, but now was time time to help Kylie. Katie walked slowly towards Kylie, not too fast, and did not yet make physical contact. "I'm sorry... before I... I really couldn't. It was hard to say. But... then you..." She gritted her teeth, this was difficult. Trying to help her... now she knew what it was like for the others. She paused again, giving her more time. "Jasmine went crazy. Came into his room. I was there but..." A tear rolled down her cheek. "I couldn't stop her Kylie... I couldn't..." She spoke.

She then paused again. "Eric... left something for you.... for all of us actually." She spoke. "It helped when... when I saw it."
