Is this a long term op, and if so why drop the password? It would have taken damn near a week before we could have gotten a Security Council liberation through.

You're not thinking things through. Any native would give the password to you so why would you need the SC.

Why drop it anyway? It would have been one more stumbling block to overcome. This and the fact most DEN pilers are still in TBR leads me to believe this is not going to be a long term occupation.

I have always credited defenders with being able to type a sentence. If I'm mistaken then I'll take that into account.

No password makes piling a hell of a lot easier, and having a password the natives can make available to anyone serves little purpose. You could hope a jumping defender or two enters it wrong, but that's about it.

Also, DEN is not officially deployed in TBR at present time. Very few people there are DEN-affiliated. And it's not like this is secret - a good 2/3 of the pilers are in a factbook pinned to the WFE, with orgs of origin listed.

I hope Pete swings by :P Love to see Gest take a turn.

May I inquire as to your intentions? Are you going to occupy for a while then leave, as a show of power to prove that DEN is capable of taking on fairly large region? Or are you going to try to annex Japan?

Depends on how chatty/welcoming the natives are and if defenders try to lib. If it turns into a flamefest then they'll stay longer :P

Occupation forces valiantly hold off wave after wave of attacking armies

An Update on the Situation in Japan

The military of DEN,
with the support of allies from The Black Hawks, Lone Wolves United, The Kingdom of Great Britain, the Mafia of Equinox, and the Vikings of Funen,
made short work of defenders at both major and minor updates.

Stats:

36 natives and defenders kicked
2 liberations suppressed =
Major: Five updaters in TRR before update - 16 seconds
Minor: Nine updaters in TRR before update - 16 seconds

Did You Know:

Did you know? Defenders still function without Benevolent Thomas.
Did you know? Texas has a military with a cool flag.
Did you know? TITO still jumps early.

Conclusion:

Ravania has too many puppets.

Incorrect. You were one of those stragglers that missed update entirely.
Better luck next time. ;)

00:20:42: Renzor endorsed Otaku Stratus.
00:20:37: Renzor relocated from From The End to Japan.

Doubtful. This is more like an extended tag raid, and Ivo wants to ensure those embassies are demolished before they pull out. >:(

We don't often have to deal with tag raiders that hang around after the update so we can put the place back in order. You could do us all a huge favor and move on so we can clean up the nuclear wasteland you have left behind. I heard Souls needs some endos in TBR. Why don't you go give your old buddy a hand huh?

Nothing impresses anymore I guess. If it's a tag raid: "Pft, tags don't matter" if it's an actual occupation "Pft, it's just an extended tag"
