Eden Valley Training Grounds

Eden Valley Asari Commando Cadets

The 1350 Asari commandos stood in attention as they watched the the Salarians slowly make their way to them. Their individual commanders standing in front of each of their squads. Once they came into the appropriate range they all in unison click their heels together and saltued the STG operatives that would be their new drill sargents as well as the Alliance that have been directed to the grounds.

(3) Human Systems Alliance - Mifan - Human Colony Cyrene Disappears Without Explanation
“The human colony Cyrene has disappeared without a trace – the latest in a series of colonies which have been lost under mysterious circumstances. It is estimated that five thousand people are missing. The moon colony circling the gas giant Idmon was a transit station between the Titan Nebula and the remainder of the Terminus Systems. "It matches the modus operandi," says investigator Simon Haute. "No signs of force, no witnesses, a genuine Roanoke." Cyrene is the seventh human colony which has disappeared in the Terminus Systems since 2183. Only in one case could traces of looting be found which were attributed to a gang of marauders who had arrived first on the scene after the disappearance.”

(9) Asari Republics - Elysian Kentarchy - Asari Holiday of Janiris Celebrated Throughout Council Space
“Species throughout Council space are celebrating the asari holiday of Janiris today, a springtime fertility ritual marking the new year. Janiris is celebrated with the making and wearing of flower wreaths, exchanged among friends and lovers. This year, Janiris falls upon the same day as the Earth holiday of St. Patrick's Day, a once-religious holiday now widely celebrated in secular fashion with parades and the consumption of green fermented drinks. To mark the dual holiday, humans are making wreaths containing shamrocks, the festival's traditional plant. Earth's Chicago River, usually dyed green for the day, will be dyed blue as a nod to Janiris." (200 credits and a beer.)

(9) Turian Hierarchy - Archangelskl Oblast -

(2) Salarian Union - Celivaia - Corruption in the STG
Today two low ranking intelligence officers of the salarian special task group accessed information of a classified nature and sent it out into the extra-net via open channels, these loses will be felt in the salarian union in the form of credits lost on research and even classified information such as the names and addresses of all members of the STG. Plans leaked were things like experimental weapons data, communication encryption codes and locations of undercover operatives, some of whom were inside friendly governments. no special forces units can be produced this month and it will take one more month to produce. -Modin Solus resigns from the STG. -200 credits in lost research projects.

(4) Batarian Hegemony - Argentumurbem - Tow of your naval ships dock on omega, (as they should) and headed up to a local bar. Turns out a they crews from another ship meet them at said bar and 100% of both sides wipe eachother out! (I know right?!) So that leaves TWO perfectly good ships in omega docks with no owners. -1 light cruiser, -1 destroyer.

(6) Omega - Ralnis - Pirates from a small band dock on omega, (as they should) and headed up to a local bar. Turns out a rival gang meets them at said bar and 100% of both sides wipe eachother out! (I know right?!) So that leave TWO perfectly good ships in your docks with no owners. +1 light cruiser, +1 destroyer.

(5) Krogan (Urdnot Clan) - The Krogan - Krogan productions go as expected, extra materials left over grant 30+ credits.

(10) Cerberus - The Rebel Alliances - Infamous Cerberus Operative Escapes Custody from The Pantheon Protocol
Skye Turnick, as he is now known, is the sole surviving member of the Cerberus cell responsible for the now-infamous "torture den" of captive aliens on the Terminus Systems planet Trident, escaped from custody at 9:37 local time this morning. A paramilitary attack using vectored thrust gunships destroyed the escort boats surrounding the prisoner transport and then took off with Turnick. Other prisoners in the transport bore witness to the event, some of them even helping the guards out of the water.

(8) Quarian Flotilla - Vicavian Empire - INACTIVE

(5) Volus Protectorate - Volus Protectorate - INACTIVE

(2) Hanar Primacy - Comet CR1331 Kingu Threatens Hanar Colony of Belan
“The extrasolar comet CR1331 Kingu will soon pass by the hanar colony world of Belan (Undercurrent). The comet contains a volatile gas element that the system's sun will warm up, but it is not known how the reaction will alter the comet's trajectory. It is impossible to determine whether the comet will strike Belan or simply pass it by. Hanar citizens are hastily evacuating the colony while their government petitions the turian fleet to commission a dreadnought to intercept the comet.”

The turian hastatim along with of the races of the unified peacekeeping force parade the surrendering soldiers through the capital and on there way to turian safe camps. It is unclear what force was the deciding factor in this but we know one thing, the rebellions on the world of Eden Valley are finaly coming to an end. So far the death tole had been 108,000 elcor civilians, 17 known human causality's, 1 salarian, 74,622 asari civilian casualty's and over 160,000+ elcor and asari separatists casualty, according to turian sources. While fighting is not yet over in some urban areas of the world the majority of Eden Valley citizens can sleep soundly in the safe camps knowing this will all soon come to an end. Galstic Collective||Xichomom||Exodus-200000 years ago

200,000 years ago, somewhere in the Traverse

Ships wail, monitors flash red and shades of purple, massive metallic warships roar overhead to combat the Elder Machines. The dark harvesters coming towards the last Galstic stronghold in the galaxy, their fleets all converged on the last planet that needed "cleansing". Their armada vast and endless like that of deep space, their horrible beams of energy slicing though the masterpieces of the Galstic Navy and in the thick of it all was the Hyperdreadnaught Xichomom, the last of its kind and the last hope of dodging Galstic extinction. The huge daunting vessel firing his hundreds of smaller cannons on his hull, desperately trying to beat back two Elder Machine Capital Ships as they tried to get a clear line for FTL. The Hyperdreadnaught wailing as it was hit by the arsenal of Reaper weaponry.

"All Units to their designated hibernation chambers.FTL will begin shortly"Fesslian 2234 monotony said over Gasltic communication lines as it was finally able to angle the ship at the clearest destination it could get."FTL in 3...2...1"and the Xichomom was off, barley missing a Reaper that had grasped itself on a Galstic Battlecrusier before firing his dreadful beam at point blank range. The last glimpse of the Galstic empire was the Reapers destroying its last great fleet and the burning of its last Galactic Hub world.

After 3 days of running the Xichomom deactivated its FTL and diverted all power to necessary systems. Fesslian 2234 the only active program aboard the mighty vessel,to begin its selfish vigil until life was rediscovered.

Present Day.....

The Xichomom slowly floated into the first solar system in centuries. The sun of the systems illuminating the giant vessel as it slowly passed. The marks of reaper blasts still stained and dented the massive haul, the faint signature of Fesslain 2234's scanning operation was the only other signal then that of the Asari's,which to them was unknown but somewhat similar to the Geth but more advance.

Somewhere in the Traverse
Asari 3rd Fleet
Dreadnought Fluidity

"Dr. T'soni. We know that this mission was listed as something of absolute importance but we have been searching for months now and nothing has been found." Admiral Adri says tersely

"Which is why the Matriarch said we are to return home at the end of this month if nothing is found." Liara tells the Admiral. "For now lets keep searching."

"Yes ma'am." The Admiral says.

After another hour of scans an officer on the bridge says. "Admiral, Dr. T'soni. We have something."

"What is it." Liara asks.

"A ship, judging by size dreadnought class but bigger. Shape does not match any style on Council records."

"Bring it up on screen." The Admiral says.

"Yes ma'am."

The ship comes up on screen. "Goddess." The Admiral says. "Have you seen anything like this Dr. T'soni?"

"Never." Liara replies and turns to the comms officer. "Try to contact the ship." The officer opens a channel. "This is Liara T'soni of the Asari Republics Third Fleet Flagship Fluidity to unidentified Dreadnought. Please respond." There is no response.

"What do you suggest Dr. T'soni?" The Admiral asks.

"I will take the Special Ops team and board the ship. You contact High Command."

"Very well Doctor. Though I will have the Marines on standby."

A few minutes later the shuttles fly over and land. "Come with me." Liara says to them over the oxygen mask she has on. "Let's check the bridge first."

As they walk through the hallways shining lights everywhere one of them asks. "Doctor do you have any guess about the origin of this?"

"My specialty is the Protheans, But I can say I don't think this is a Prothean ship. It seems like it is something... older." She shivers. "The design is something that is sufficiently alien to me. It does remind me of the Geth Ships I have seen but this is too foreign to be the Geth." She then thinks in her head. "Could it be the Reapers?" She shakes her head. "No it can't be. Sovereign was the only one left behind so it must be something else." She turns to the Special Ops teams. "Lets hurry to that bridge. We must be getting close, stay in formation."

Galstic Collective||Xichomom||Rebirth

The ships inner workings laid in dead silence, the couple large power cables that load connected the main habitation hubs flash continually and made humming noise every times the lights passed it by. The bridge laid on the highest level of the ship and to get their the Asari have to go though the Habitation Level and then the storage level were the various small craft and thousands of inactive mobile platforms lay in squares of a 1000x1000 each, with corrodes hanging from the ceiling attached to their broad shape heads. Their left arms have their guns imbedded to their arms with their right blade arms also out. The small flotilla of smaller vessels ranging from fighters to a few destroyer class ships lay in a neatly fashion.

Fesslian 2234,watched from its position on the bridge as organics slowly moved though the the Xichomom. His mission program now taking over his actions as he remotely activating 3 General Class Warrior Types that laid pod like structures on the deck. The 3 white machines that were 2 foot taller than Juggernaut class Geth, suddenly bursted back into existence. The Galstic programs inside the platforms checking internal and external systems before slowly exiting their pods, their large 3 toed metal legs clanking against the hard floor. They spoke to Fesslian 2234 for in a quick digital language that only took a few seconds for them to have an exchange in words. Their weapons disarmed and retreated back into their limbs before the 3 great machines started to slowly walk down the corridor from the bridge and into the path of the approaching Asari.

Fesslian 2234 also prepared to actives the 3 Arc Type teams that were on standby around the ship incase things started to become ugly, the old program flashing statically as it struggled to maintain poster. The old program has worn itself out and was nesting rampancy,it's hard to believe but Fesslian 2234 was dying and needed serious repairs,or it will turn mad and can led to collateral damage.

The 3 General Class Warrior types eye lights suddenly emerged from the darkness of the ship, their metal limbs creating loud clanking noises as they walked. Soon after a minute of tenseness the 3 behemoths emerged single file out of the corridor with the last two flanking a little behind the first one to have appeared. The one on the left has visual white markings on its body, the middle green and the left orange. Their heavily armored bodies looking at the blue organics with erie silence, their blue optical lenses staring at them, observing them.

Primarch Victus
Citadel Docks

Tugging on the bottom of his dark blue vest the primarch sniffed the artificial air. No matter how clear the filters made it seem you could always smell the hint of recycled oxygen in some parts of the citadel. The room the primarch in is dark, as the decontamination jets washed over him and the airlock began to open a bright light from the presidium artificial sun bathed over the turian in a wave causing him to blink in rapid succession to adjust his eyes. On either side of him he was flanked by two marines, each in dress uniform with there kinetic barriers powered up and concealing standard issue SMGs under there uniforms. The primarch hit a button and his shields flared to life as a crowed which was already gather outside for his scheduled press conference.

The primarch had chose to issue this conference on the citadel due to the Eden Valley peacekeeping operations becoming more of a joint species task rather than only a turian one. So it seemed only fitting. The primarch stepped in and pushed past the crowed, many holding signs scribbled with disproving and some vulgar language. The primarch knew this would happen as they were no turian, they did not understand how things worked in turian operations. The primarch stepped past a crowd on woman, an asari, screamed at the primarch grabbing his shoulder. Nyree met eyes with the woman, she had such a furry built inside her, her eyes were like fire and her blue skin held an oddly violet complication. He would never forget her. The woman shoved a picture in his face and screamed "MURDER! YOU KILLER!" Nyree looked away and a marine shoved her away from the primarch and onto the floor. The marine reached for his SMG but the primarch stopped him. Making there way through the rest of the crowd and towards a podium with his back facing one of the lakes of the presidium. C-Sec had already crowded the area before any of the protesters had arrived and cleared the area several times. Just to be sure the primarch had his marines do one more sweep to be sure. Once all was said and done the primarch begin up the stops to the podium. Many reporters sat anxious waiting to ask the "tough question's."

The primarch stood next to the microphone and cleared his throat as he looked out upon the gathered crowd of nearly 200 people many of them shouting things like, "Killer!" or "Go home silver heads!" some chanted "fuck the primarch!" But he also count help to notice there were nearly no turians the crowd aside from the few news reporters and maybe some black sheep near the back just watching. "At least my people understand.", he though to himself. The primarch began, "People of the galaxy, I understand your distress and anger with some of my recent decisions, some of you may wish death upon me, and that is okay. Because that is you right as members of a council species. And through all your jeers and protest, we turians see light, we turians see what we are doing as good. We are the peacekeepers of this council. We will not be questions. What we do is for the safety of trillions of lives across thee galaxy, cluster to cluster, system to system, world to world and individual planetary territory to individual planetary territory, to assure your safety. We do not care for the cost of a individual if it means caring for the rest of the galactic community." Many asari and elcor in the crowd began to holler and jeer at his remarks. The primarch wanted to make this short as he had other business to attend to. "Now, we do not apologize for the deaths of the elcor or asari soldiers that have taken part in the Eden Valley Rebellions. They chose there path and refused to be escorted by the hastatim to the safe camps. They refused orders from peacekeepers on many occasions and because of this, some of you have lost family. However, those off your family members who were unnecessary casualty's in the war between the two sides I wish to issue my deepest respects to your children and loved ones as they made the ultimate sacrifice on a civilian level. No one deserves to lose loved ones. But." The primarch leaned in and continued in a darker tone. "If your children resist peacekeeping operations and disrupt progress, they will be killed, there is no place for disorder in this council space." Most of the crowd became silent as they were in complete shock. Leaning back away he continued. "The hierarchy will continue all operations on Eden valley till the job is done. They called and asked for turian support, and what they got is exactly what they asked for. Now questions." A roar of voices over took the primarch but a few stood out, one woman yelled, "Primarch, how could you justify the bombing of the 90,000 elcor solders and civilians in the city of Du'han alone?" The primarch replied slowly, "They were enemy combatants, they outnumbered my men on the ground at the time. There was no possibility for a full on ground assault to take the position. It would have cost far to many lives on both sides. If we had handed it any other way other than the spot on orbital strike that was delivered the numbers of dead would have been in the 200,000's in that battle alone. I was not willing to give that many lives for one city." The crowd roars again, and a question arose, "Primarch Victus, Will this become a reoccurring theme for the hierarchy?" The primarch looked down at the man and said, "Sir, we have been doing things this way since the unification wars. It wont change now, as it is still just as effective as the day it started." The people talked amougst themselves and some yelled, at the primarch, "One last question." he said. After about ten seconds of yelling, the asari from eirlyer who had grabbed his shoulder in the crowd spoke louder than the rest, "How can you justify putting a bullet in a young girls head!" she said in tears. "How can you say you are peacekeepers when all you do is murder anyone who looks at you the wrong way?!" the woman sobbed profusely as the primarch met eyes with her one last time and spoke, "A bullet to the brain is peaceful in its own right." The crowd went quiet one last time as the primarch turned and walked off stage and toward his shuttle to the council chambers.

Matriarch Seri's Perspective
The Citadel

"Well done Primarch well done." Matriarch Seri says calmly though one can detect a slight bit of approval as she walks up to him after he left the platform. "Sorry about this unexpected meeting." She apologizes. "I had heard about the speech that was to be given and I decided to see it in person."

Liara's Perspective

"Goddess." Several soldiers mutter as the synthetics approach them.

"Orders ma'am?" One of the troops says to the ranking officer.

"Open fire!" The officer yells before Liara can say anything.

The Asari troops immediately open fire but the synthetics return fire with some form of beam killing one of them. "None of our shots seem to be doing anything!" One of them yells, though Liara makes note that they are firing wildly.

Liara steps in front of the troops. "Doctor!" One of them yells

Liara lashes out with her biotics sending the synthetics flying down the hallway. " Move! Back to the shuttles!" She yells and they take off back to the shuttle bay.

"Dr. T'soni!" The Admiral says coming in after they reach the place where they landed their shuttles. "We detected gunfire and I sent a shuttle carrying marines over. It was shot down immediately. Extraction is a bad idea."

Liara curses under her breath thinking quickly for what to do. "Alright we will make our way to the bridge, there we will disable the defenses and use the gap to make our escape."

"We have our mission now move it!" An officer yells. "Shoot at everything that moves and use biotics to remove all obstacles!"

"Yes ma'am!" They shout and they run through the ship's corridors. After dealing with a couple more they finally arrive on the bridge.

"Someone access the mainframe and shut this place down!" Liara yells. "I want this whole ship shutdown now!"

A soldier accesses the mainframe and begins to work on it.

Noveria,
Port Hanshan

The near unbreakable security of Noveria, the galaxy's corporation paradise, is the same for everyday. Snowstorms, corporate deals being brokered, and corruption throughout the planet. However, this was also one of the Templar's sanctuaries and a hotbed of credit funding for their operations across the galaxy. They have unanimous control over the Board and corporations that have their fingers here, both alien and Human.

The secret society that is older than an Asari Matriarch and they had led the destiny of Humanity of some time. However, they had gained their hold on the parts of the galaxy that were easy to get but where hard to keep in some ways. A ship came through the docks and the scans how showed a man in business attaire and two Asari Commandos were guarding the door and they stood apart as one spoke," Administrator Talbon, is good to see you. How was your trip to Earth?"

An man of South African decent with a scar on his face and the look of a soldier but he just had a gentle disposition as he smiled," oh, it was nice. I got to see the family but I couldn't stay for long. I think you know how it is, your certainly young enough to know." The Asari just nod," I'm only 119 Administrator." He smiled," certainly older than I'll ever be. As you are Commando." He walks into the plaza as people were whispering at his approach and he walked into his office.

He looked as male Turian bodyguard and gave a nod," how is it Brictis?" He was a former Hastitm with near 45 years of service and the look certainly came as he could frighten anyone, even Talbon," well, there was a riot because of the Primarch's speech. Seriously, we do what must be done and people get angry because they couldn't listen to simple instructions." He gave a chuckle," well, I'm glad it wasn't anymore bloodshed, I understand that the Council does what it can to keep the peace. We all must do our part."

The Turian just gave a nod as the Administrator went in his office and he sat in his chair as he started to turn to turn some nozzles and press a button that seemed to be from a time where buttons like this didn't even exist. From then he got a ring that a sigil of a medieval cross and placed it on the center of the button and nozzles and the room started to change in front of his very eyes.

The table started to sink and fold into what seemed to be a galaxy map and the room started to get dark as several holograms came up that showed different worlds and locations that were either historical or holy. Then he bowed to all of the locations and then to the galaxy map," hello everyone, Vox Tombstone reporting in from Noveria. We have seen an increase of profit from our trust funds and Peak 15 is ready for the research equipment for next month we just need the cadaver that we had gotten from when Saren and the Matriarch had gone rouge and we can get to work on project Nix."

The galaxy map lit up with a beacon that showed where the Vox was and another light came up that came from Omega and spoke," that's good, already have the science teams ready for the project. I'm thinking just how many credits will be needed to finish it quickly?" One light comes on from where the Citadel is act," the Tomb Council said that they will have make a large expansion of the research Magi on several planets, but they have said that the Project comes first. The cadaver will be sent to Tombstone next month once we have done the contracts for Peak 15."

One beacon that was on Sur'kesh lit up," the proxies have leaked the information on the extranet and have exposed a weakness in their system. It has cause some weaknesses in that we have been able to infect more of the STG but if we are to do anything more dangerous..." Tombstone interjected," don't worry, the Tomb Council has already decided not to make anymore hostile actions against them. Right now they have decided to start on getting the project up and ready before Shepard is alive."

The screens that show the sites flicker and with imagery that showed Krogans, Soviets, and the Eden Valley Rebellion for a few seconds before going back to the original pictures. Tombstone spoke to the other Vox,"well, it seems we have our orders. The Tomb Council wants us to expand on the trade that we have been working on. Krogans have an armor production industry that flourished because of Eden Valley and we can expand on the farming technology which would bring us the most money out of it. The Soviets are not known to the galaxy yet they are still around near the border of the Terminus. This is good for we have a developed smuggler's circle that will be a monopoly on that quarter of the black market in that corner of the galaxy.

In the mean time, I suggest that we start working boosting our budget for the Project will be ready to begin next month. I will work on getting the contracts for Feros from Exogeni to see if we can get the Thorian. We will need the corpse for the future research projects we have in store."

After the meeting, the Templars got to work through their extensive proxy network to get to work on making the deals to the Krogan, Soviets, and Eden Valley.

To: Clan Urdnot

My name is Williams and I'm the leader of Wargunner's League. I had heard that you were getting rich by setting up an arms and armor trade out of the DMZ to Eden Valley during the Rebellions and we wanted a piece of the pie and help increase your trade from just there to all over. The trade can bring an extra 35 credits to you and some 45 credits to us. Seems like a good deal? Then go ahead and send us your agreement and we can start sending our freighters across to say hi.

To: Eden Valley Leadership

Hi, I am a representative from Pepperidge farms and we wanted to help rebuild your agricultural division of your economy with our research in order to make your planet be the largest producer of food in the galaxy. The large boost to your markets will bring an extra 55 credits and 60 to us. Don't worry, Pepperidge Farms remembers their dues when it comes to giving the profits to those who need them.

To: Soviets

My name is unimportant, just call me the Hyena when it comes to the circles who have been smuggling goods in your space. Listen, I have a proposition for you. I know about your plans to make some type of New Soviet Union and I think that we can both work. I can get you funding needed for you to work with this plan of yours and all I ask is that you give us free reign over your space. This is a big trade-off for everyone. It Is a 35 credits for you and 45 credits for me.

What do you say?

STGHQ,
Sur'Kesh

The Dalatrass had just come back from a short vacation at a villa on one of Sur'Kesh's coastlines, which was cut short due to notice of an incursion into some STG databases by some low-level operatives.
"How the hell did this happen?!" shouts Dalatrass Relbana as she enters the main bullpen in the STGHQ. The STG Director, Jewort Daezeno, walked up to her and began to describe the events; two low-level operatives leaked information from several databases across the extra-net, requiring the Union to completely eliminate funding for the projects that had their details leaked, and necessitating the shuffling of a large number of STG personnel around, delaying the completion of training for several new operational STG teams, and postponing the initial training of some new teams.

"Any evidence they had outside help?" asked the Dalatrass sternly.
"It's interesting, Dalatrass. Our forensics teams were able to determine that the tools used were way beyond anything currently on the market, or widely known. Even some of our seedier contacts have never seen tools with these effects, and these two had nowhere near the skills required to pull this off. We know that whomever this is, they are frighteningly advanced, but we have no idea who they are, or anything of the sort. If we had something to compare this to, we might've been able to pull a lead or two, but as it stands, we're at a loss. Best we can do is patch the weakness, and then resume normal operations. If they try this particular hack again, we'll be prepared, but if they're smart enough to do this, chances are they aren't dumb enough to try the same trick twice."
The Dalatrass grumbles at that last sentence before continuing. "Fine, continue on.. I'll meet with Gubame, see what he has to say."

Office of the Dalatrass,
Sur'Kesh

Back at the Dalatrass' office on the surface, Relbana was looking out the window as Gubame walked in. "This is a nice change of pace, Dalatrass. Excellent view from up here," Gubame says, as he takes a seat. "What do you think of the hacking situation?" asks Relbana.
"Well, Daezono has a good head, whatever he says is probably true.." Gubame takes a pause before continuing. "While I'm here, I'd like to request funding for a fleet expansion effort. Construction plans would be laid over this month and next, due to both the volume of the expansion, and the costs incurred from having to shuffle everyone around. I also thi--"
Just as Gubame was about to continue, the economic minister comes running in with a datapad.
"Dalatrass, Dalatrass! I found some extra funding, and if we build a small station in Oranil, we can really ramp up our production in the system. It's a win-win! Should pay for itself in just a couple of months, then it's pure profit!" he says, giddy as can be.

"Fine, both of your proposals are approved. Get to work."

Eden Valley Governmental Towers

Governess Al'niah

Al'niah looked down as the insurgents of Elcor and Asari were paraded though the streets as if they were a conquered people and off to slavery, the Turians acting like barbaric Batarians. She has learned her lesson about the Turians and their Primarch who justifies their actions as a necessary evil. The purple matriarch shook her head and turned back to her terminal, her eyes falling upon the message sent by Pepperidge Farms. She made a quick response to their request and went to more pressing matters, expansion and advancement on a Galactic scale. Zorya was nearly the perfect garden world with just a few minor problems that could easily be dealt with. She would send her refugees and POW to this planet to be its new colonist.

Arcturus Station
Prime Minister's Office

Shastri walked to her office, after a meeting with some representatives of Eden Prime, who anted to be assured that the planet wouldn't be attacked like it was two years ago. While the Alliance hadn't had any contact with the Geth for over two years, many still don't feel safe, especially those who live on the colonies. If it isn't the geth, its some slavers or pirates. There's a reason the 4th Fleet patrols around the outskirts of Alliance Space, and even then, they still aren't able to find out why colonies are disappearing without a trace.

This is the 7th report Shastri has gotten about a colony disappearing without a trace. Most of the colonies were near Terminus or in Terminus Space, but even if Pirates did attack the colony, there would still be evidence of the pirate's attack. Most of the Parliament ignores these disappearances as there would be no point in trying to find out what has happened, but Shastri still doesn't buy it.

Still, there isn't much she can do however. Every team sent to these colonies found nothing, so there isn't much point in trying to find out anything. If the officials cant find anything, then there is no point in sending more people. Still investigators likely missed something.

Contacting Major Yung, Shastri waited for about 10 minutes before his visual came up. "Major, I have a request. As you know, the colony of Cyrene has disappeared and is the 7th colony to do so. As you know, there hasn't been any traces to any group, but I am requesting you send one of your spec ops squad to the colony to investigate."

Yung though over it for a minute. "Prime Minister, with all due respect, what would be the point? The investigators sent to these planets never found anything, and if there isn't anything, we wasted our time looking for nothing." Shastri could see he wasn't going to support the idea of sending one of his squads there, but she had no choice.

"Major, as much as I am with you on that, we both know investigators always skip over something important as a way to end work earlier. They could so much before giving up. Spec ops on the other hand don't give up, and are willing to look anything to find an answer. I will consul Hackett as I respect him and his opinion, so please think tis over while I contact him." With that she began to contact Hackett and after about a 5 minute wait, he appeared.

"Prime Minister. I assume its something important if you contacted me about it." The only time Shastri ever contacted Hackett outside of a battle was when she needed his advice. While he wasn't a politic like she was, his advice was always helpful.

"Admiral, I will keep this short. The colony of Cyrene has disappeared without a trace, making this the 7th colony to do so. A common pattern has occurred in which there is no evidence of any attack. Sending a team of spec ops might not be the best plan, but where could these colonies have gone if there is no attack? We would know if the people there wanted to leave, but every colony had its population disappear without a trace. I'm not allowing for another colony to be lost, just because we cant find a reason why."

Hackett stood there as he thought over the PM's words. It was true that no evidence showed up, but its also true that populations just don't disappear. "There is one problem. If you look at it, the attacks happen on remote colonies and aren't consistent. Even if we did find something, it would be too hard to find out where the next attack would be or when it would be. Whoever is doing this has serious technology and are smart. We need to find out where and when they strike, if we are to be effective in trying to stop whoever caused this. I'm not against sending some people in, but we have no information to work on. We can discuss this more later, but I have business to attend to. Prime Minister, Major."

With that Hackett left, leaving Shastri and Yung left. "I guess I could send them in. I don't know if it will help but something is better than nothing. I still don't support it, but Hackett does have a point. I'll deploy them." Yung left after, leaving Shastri to read over reports and plan the budget.

Primarch Victus
Citadel

Nyree looked back to the soft voice from behind him, almost annoyed that another person was speaking to him at that moment. The marines exchanged a look as if to consider giving the primarch and the matriarch a little privacy. They ultimately chose to stay and instead turned to keep watch on the crowd. Nyree sighed as he realized it was the matriarch and relaxed as she spoke. Nyree met eyes with the woman, and replied. "I'm sorry, but you indeed have me at a loss, I did not have time to prepare any speech cards for this conversation." he joked. "I rarely hold public speeches, and even more so outside turian space. But given light that this is a intergalactic issue between our nations I bend my own rules a bit. I just want people to know that I and my men are not shy to stop in there face and take action." Looking back at his shuttle and to his marines who seemed to be getting more and more antsy. "Ma'am, I cant help but notice that you do not have a escort. Or is that the point?" he smiled.

2nd Fleet
Admiral Bakiro
Siguards Cradle

Admiral Bakiro walked the deck looking out the port holes on the observation deck and down onto the world below. Where could they be? The search had been going on for nearly a few week, but they he knew that the three pilots would not be found alive now. The life support in those fighters could only possibly sustain them for a short window. With that window closed his only hope was to get his hands on the flight recorders and the VI inside the small craft. But what kept the admiral here is that he knew that this was no accident. He could not prove that yet however but he just knew it. Thee fighters were lost, artimech wing reported a small magnetic storm of some kind that disrupted interments for a short time but it was clearly not strong enough to bring down artimech wing. So how was it strong enough to bring down the first three fighters? If it was the storm, by logic they would have all gone dark. No something selected those fighters and not artimech. One fighter would be an incident, two a coincidence, but three? No, that's a pattern. Taking a deep breath the admiral chose what he would do next. Despite the primarchs orders to abandon his search and regroup with salarian forces over the world Triganta Petra, he would only send half his fleet to the joint traing exercise. The other half would stay to continue searching. Bakiro Stepped to a message terminal on the observation deck and told his communications officer to send a encrypted burst transmission directly to the salarian STG.
The message: "This is admiral Bakiro of turian 2nd expeditionary fleet, I request a Special Task Group to my location. No this can not wait"
The message was sent. The admiral knew he could put the fleet research department on it and launch an investigation but that would take to much time. He wanted this done. At that moment the admiral ordered the carrier to dump all of its fighters to contact a series of last minute scan and a visual comb over the area that the fighters were lost, they would drop probes and drones into the water below.

STGHQ,
Sur'Kesh

High Commander Gubame was sitting in his office at the back of the main squadroom in STGHQ, when a runner comes in with a pad. "Urgent message for you, sir," Nameless STG Officer 5202845730 said before dropping off the pad and returning to... whatever he was doing, probably listening to deep space sounds and trying not to shoot himself with his sidearm out of sheer boredom, thought Gubame.

He takes a look at the pad, and tells the Nameless STG Officer 28374902234 to get back in his office to hand him a reply for immediate transmission, with encryption above protocol would require.

Eden Valley Training Grounds,
Eden Valley

Padok Wiks had just finished a training session with some Commandos-in-training when a call came in from the Phantom.
"New orders sir, immediate departure. Rendezvous with a Turian fleet in Sigurd's Cradle."
Well, looks like these commandos will have to fend for themselves. Wiks fires off a quick message to the Governess letting her know the situation.
Code: Select all
Governess, this is Wiks. We're recalled with immediate effect. Sorry.

Wiks calls his teams over the Salarian-only frequency, and told them to regroup at the Phantom. Once both he and his teams had arrived, the Phantom's main door shut, and it lifted off to meet up with the Turian fleet.

Tuchanka: Urdnot Capital
General meeting of Clan Leaders and Representatives

Dak'ir sat and listened as the other Clan Leaders and Clan representatives discussed, or in some cases yelled, about trivial issues revolving around inter-clan trade and other such things, occasionally having to put a few in their place when things looked to get a bit to heated. Fortunately, the shamans and females did a pretty good job of equaling things out, as they seemed to be better at this sort of thing then most of the males. After a land dispute was finally settled between two clans, Dak'ir deemed it time to bring foreword some matters that needed resolving. Opening his omni-tool he sent the assembled leaders and representatives copies of messages and reports for upcoming projects and trade deals that were in the works. There was one trade offer in particular he wanted to get out of the way, and upon highlighting it and projecting it through the rooms projectors said,

"As you can see, the first issue that need resolving today is this trade deal we received from the Wargunner's League, who are willing to invest in our industry here in exchange for profits and such, according to the math that we have worked out, ourselves and the corporation have much to gain from such a deal.. Now I'm ready to accept such a deal myself as I see nothing wrong with it, but since we are a joint venture around here now all should have input into how we make our credits... Does anyone have any objections?" Dak'ir asked, glancing around the table. Apparently no one did and the matter was resolved as easy as that, which led to the next matter quite nicely.

Dak'ir then projected a plan that he and Clan Ravanor had been tossing around recently on bringing the Krogan's economy to a whole new level, and judging by the near instantaneous fits of excited conversation and excited looks from the assembled Krogan, he knew that this project would have majority support at the very least. After allowing them all to talk a bit longer, Dak'ir started his little speal on the project.

"As you can all see ladies and gentlemen, between myself and reps from Clan Ravanor, we have come up with plans for the construction of a major spaceport here on Tuchanka.. As you can see from the details in the report, our projected economic stats will nearly triple in revenue, allowing us to expand our infrastructure throughout the DMZ even more, the only problem is that we do not have the money at this time and will have to ask for a loan if we don't want to wait another year before we can actually start this project"...*a few grumbles at the mention of loans and one Clan leader scoffing and asking who in the galaxy would lend them money*... "Well luckily for us, we now have two potential sources of loans in this project, our trade partners from Eden valley, and our new partners the Wargunner's League," He said, taking a deep breath and a swig of ryncol as he let the assembled Krogan think it over before continuing.

"Now I assume nobody has any problems in asking them for a loan correct?.... Good so I'll just send them a message asking for a loan, now this meeting is over, we'll meet again the same time next month, and I'll let you all know details of the loan deals and whether or not the project will go foreword." Dak'ir said, standing up and making his way towards his quarters.

Upon reaching his rooms, he sat down and composed the two messages

To: Governess Al'niah of Eden Valley
From: Urdnot Dak'ir, leader of Clan Urdnot

Governess Al'niah, I hope that things are going well for you and your nation these days and that the trade relationship between our two countries continues to flourish. Now down to business, I'm sending you this message in the proposition of a plan that will only benefit us both. I request a loan of 200 credits to help us on Tuchanka to build a major spaceport, which will help to strengthen trade ties between us even more.

Ever yours, Urdnot Dak'ir

To: Williams of the Wargunner's League
From: Urdnot Dak'ir, leader of Clan Urdnot

It is with great excitement that we accept your very mutually beneficial trade deal mister Williams. While we are on the topic of investment though, I was wondering if you would be interested in helping to fund a project that we have in the works for the construction of a major spaceport. With a loan of 100 credits from you we will be able to complete such a project.. So what do you say mister Williams?

After sending off both messages, Dak'ir laid back in his bed for a quick nap.

The Phantom,
Sigurd's Cradle

"Activating Cloak. Wiks, we are dropping out of FTL in three... two... One." As soon as the pilot of the Phantom said that, there was a *fwoomp* heard throughout the ship as it made the drop from FTL back into subluminal speeds. Immediately, Wiks got on comms to avoid any potential hasty action on the Turian's part.
"This is Padok Wiks, Union Commando of the STG on board the SUV Phantom. We are here as requested, and ready to assist. We are decloaking now." Padok gave the nod to the pilot, and he flicked a few switches, turning off the cloak and revealing their presence to the Turian fleet, and whomever else may be watching. "What would you like us to do? We have several teams on board, and several Landers on board."

Office of the Dalatrass,
Sur'Kesh

High Commander Gubame knocked on the door to the Dalatrass' office, requesting to enter. After a quick nod from the Dalatrass, the Commander entered, took a seat, and gave her an update. "Dalatrass, good to see you. Just a report on current production of our new fleet. We had to split up production, due to that nasty affair earlier this month, but we managed to begin production on most of the heavy vessels we'll need to support our fleet. We miscalculated the carriers necessary, which will delay production for a month or two, but beyond that, we're set. The lighter craft will go into production next month, mainly corvettes, frigates and the like, and requisitioning additional SpecOps teams from the STG. We also have someone I think may be a good candidate for a Union Commando position, Wesirn Baelon. Worked in the STG as a strategist for naval engagements, as he was trained for, but according to some of his instructors at the academy, he, and I quote, "got bored", so he started auditing courses for land engagements as well. He's fully qualified for both types of engagements now, and I believe he'd be of use to us. Either commanding fleets, or coordinating forces on the ground should we ever need to do so. I'd also recommend a Phantom-class for him. If we're going to be having him in multiple engagements and use him to his full extent, he'll need the mobility to do so. As you're aware, Union Commandos usually operate in the field, such as Aex, or Wiks, but Baelon would need the autonomy that comes with a position as a Union Commando."
"You make a good case, Gubame. Very well, I shall look into it. Have him run several command simulations, and bring me the results. I want to see how he performs myself."

Interrupting their conversation, as usual, was the Salarian Economic Minister. This time, however, he was absolutely distraught, not his usual manic self, and as was his custom, had a large sheaf of papers in his hands, and possibly more in the hallway behind him, which earned him an angry glare from the janitor who was mopping the floor, and the female Salarian secretary who then slipped and fell on the wet floor behind the janitor, giving the janitor a glare as well, just as a janitorial drone flew to the wet floor and holographically displayed a wet floor sign. The secretary grumbled something about being 10 seconds too late before getting up with the janitor's help, and both continuing on their way.

"Dalatrass, Dalatrass! Urgent news! We were able to build the base of a new space station, Ja'Kilush, but weren't able to complete the additional support structures at the time! We'll need more funding if we're to finish it, and we also have plans for the next sta--" Just then, two of the building's guard came in, grabbed the Economic minister, and begin to escort him out. "You forgot to sign in, AGAIN, Minister. That makes 23 times this month, and we're only two weeks in. Come on, back out now." The Economic Minister gave a sheepish smile to the Dalatrass as he was being dragged out by the guards. "I'll be back, we have more to dicuss! There's so much I want to allocate, talk about and discuss! as his voice dragged off. The faint sound of clapping could be heard, presumably from the janitor and secretary.

"Ahem, now that that's cleared up.. There's also one other matter I'd like to discuss. I have a proposal for a new fleet, after this one is completed." The Commander takes out a small box, places it on the desk, flips a switch, then gets up and closes the door before taking a seat and resumes talking. "Sorry, security measures. The box is a multi-spectrum jammer. Jams infrared, electromagnetic, radio, essentially all frequencies. No fear of anyone listening in to anything at all. Now, the fleet I wish to discuss is a ghost fleet. I wish to take some of our dreanoughts, refit them with stealth tech and Tantalus cores, and then build a fleet with additional stealth tech and Tantalus cores. We had to draw up schematics for the Phantom, which had some technical information on the Tantalus Core, so we can account for that in the fleet's construction, but unless we, err.. reverse engineer the Tantalus tech, preferably with Turian permission, of course, and then Salarianize and standardize the technology to make it more efficient, and effective. We can then retrofit the Phantom with this new technology, and hopefully improve upon it even more. My goal is to have a ship more effective than any possible future iteration of the human Normandy. The humans being at the forefront of stealth technology, or any sort of technology, is.. worrisome, to say the least. I with to catapult us to the forefront. With your permission, I'd like to make an official request to send a message to the Primarch requesting just that. I've also allocated some funding for special project research stations both here on Sur'Kesh, and Jaeto, in order to aid with this project, or any future one we may have."
"You have my permission, Commander, get it done."

The High Commander pulled up his Omnitool and began quickly typing a message to the Turian Primarch.
Code: Select all
Primarch, this is High Commander Gubame of the Salarian Union. I have a somewhat unorthodox request of you. You aided us earlier with a Tantalus core for our current Phantom-class ship, and we are now in an interesting position of requesting your aid once more. We are in the planning stages of building a new fleet, and request your permission to reverse-engineer your Tantalus Cores, in order for us to improve upon the design, and then standardize their production to Salarian standards, making them easier to interface with, construct, and install. If you wish for more details, I must ask that you come in person, as I would rather not discuss this over even secure channels.

Gubame excused himself from the Dalatrass' presence, and then headed down to the STGHQ, before handing the message file to an encryption officer for heavy encryption and transmission. Gubame decided to stay behind and watch to make sure the process was handled well, and securely, which it was. Gubame then returned to his office, to read up on the progress of the ground forces currently in training.

1st MEU
1st Fleet
Citadel Orbit
Captain Siria Victus

The captain paced back and forth looking out a narrow observation window just over the deck of the cargo hold of the dreadnought "Indomitable". The Deck had been re-purposed as a large barracks for a portion of the 1st marine expeditionary unit. The other half of the cargo bay was active as a hanger bay for shuttles and drone maintenance. She looked over the marines as the bay was busy with activity, some of the marines ran laps around the perimeter of the bay while in the center many could be seen laying in bunks and pissing away there time. Some played claw ball around there bunks the best they could in the tight space. Normally Siria would be in her own bunk looking over mission reports and making gear checks but thirty minuets ago she had been ordered into the observation deck she now stood in. She was to await a orders and her squad was put on yellow to be ready at a moments notice. They were good men. Looking over there direction she could see her platoon making weapons checks and diagnostics on there kinetic barriers.

The door opened behind her as the hydraulics gave way to the usual hissing sound, turning around her battalion commander and Sargent major walked in the door. the three snapped quick formal salutes and then they began.
"Good morning Captain." Said Colonel Nievis.
"Good morning, sir." she said placing her hands behind her back.
"Captain we have something for you and your boys. C-Sec cant handle this one but they based all information onto use." The Colonel handed over the files to Siria.

Taking a minuet to look over the data Siria nodded, the files contained names of several of C-Sec and the councils most wanted. The majority of them were batarian, a terrorist group named The Sons of Kar'Shan. They were notorious for There televised executions of captured colonists and held one of the highest capture rates out of all terminus pirate and terror groups. Nothing Siria hadn't been against before hand. But the SOK still had a outstanding track record for never being taken alive, even resorting to suicidal tactics against opposing forces. Its a good thing that Siria want being sent to capture all of them. Only one if possible, if not then they shoot to kill. That made the job simple, but what didn't was the fact that they would be out of council space and on the edge of batarian space. The plan was to hide inside cargo containers marked as weapons shipments on a turian trade ship. From there they would no doubt be taken to the batarian compound. Where they would sneak out and attempt to secure the compound as quiet as possible. They would travel using a array of underground tunnels, which C-Sec intel had so gracefully supplied a map of. From that point they would make there way to the commanding officer of the SOK via a tracking chip that would be supplied in a know shipment of his favorite krogan cigarette brand. They would breach the building and eliminate all enemy guards on the way up the building and use tranquilizers to put the batarian leader to bed. The trenq's would last up to 10 hours so that would give the team enough time to extract at point A,B,C,D,E or F if things went that fucked up beyond all recognition. The captain looked over the files again and returned them to the colonel.

"Roger sir, we can got this done, My men will be ready in 10 mikes."

"Outstanding captain, You have free reign over this mission. Just don't miss out on your check in windows, after three missed check-ins a quick reaction force will be sent to your location last know location. Normally Black watch would be on an operation like this, but all Black Watch assets ate in use with second fleet at the moment. May the spirits watch over you Captain."
"Likewise sir." They then exchanged salutes and parted ways, the Colonel and sergeant major down the hall they cam and captain Victus down a lift leading directly to the cargo bay. Looking over her omni-tool she double checked everything and gathered her roster and sent the list for the 16 marines on the ground with her as-well as 44 more on back up rotation outside the base. The 16 would be the ones hidden inside cargo containers while the others would sneak on world via shuttle. Once to the bottom her men were already to work. Many of the other platoons were jealous that she had chosen 2nd platoon over 1st or 3rd, but all the same it was her choice and her men respected that from there commander. Siria went to her locker and loaded her phaeston as the ships armorer came by with a crate of suppression devices as an attachment for the 16 marines. The other 44 would not need such attachments because if they had to comes in the element of surprise was over anyway and suppressors would be useless. Looking around after only a few minuets the bunks were blear as the last of the company hurried toward the transport shuttles that would take them toward there destination to meet with the civilian transport crews. The shuttles opened there doors and the 50 marines ran into the hatches and took there seat as the shuttle powered up and the doors hissed closed. Many of thee marines had different ways of reliving stress before a mission, although these shuttles where to small for mixed martial arts or any type of physical sparing. Many marines joked and a few even played games on there omni-tool's. Siria however prefered to sleep. She found it relaxing to just close here eyes and stare at the blackness even if she could not manage to sleep.

6 hours latter.......

The shuttle rocked as a docking tube from the civilian cargo ship attached itself to the turian military shuttle. Many of the marines had fallen asleep leaning on one another, some already standing and ready to go through the door. Sirias eyes spank open and she gripped her rifle and looked over the small sea of marines and watched as the 16 began to transfer over to the civilian shuttle. The florescent light bathed over there non-reflective black matte colored armor in a seemingly unnoticeable way. The captain exchanged looks with the civilian crew and they all just looked away, almost as if they were not even there. The military shuttle detached and then went FTL on its way to the next drop off locations for the other 44 marines. They moved into the containers and they were sealed shut, Siria was in the front of her container as she watched the light around the edges slowly disappear she took a deep breath and closed her eyes again just as all light disappeared. At that moment a sinking feeling set in, what had before seemed like a full prof plan had now seemed like a death trap. Even then she knew, behind here were 16 other marines that container that were willing to give there lives for the mission, and she knew no matter her fear she was willing to do the same.

2 hours latter......

A heavily muffled alarm was heard outside the container, the marines sprang to life yet stood motionless, the crew could be heard running about the ship in a frantic motion. Voices and then gun fire was heard outside the pod was heard as the captains heat beat became so loud it was all she could hear. A bead of sweat rolled off her head and to her mandible. After twenty minuets of gun fire she knew that the crew had been killed. The only ones to know of the marines were only a few loaders and the captain. All she could hope was they were all dead, otherwise she prayed to the spirits that they would keep there mouths shut. After some time she could make out the words of the terrorists, they were joking about how they had just murdered the captain. This made Siria furious as she wanted to hit the hatch to open the door right now and shoot the mother fuckers herself. She however, held her composure and sat in waiting grinding her teeth and snarling to herself silently. But then she heard something, that quickened her heart, she looked to her right as sergeant Vikers to confirm what she had just heard. He looked to her in near panic. From the other side of the door the batarians could be heard trying to open the crate. "Get that crate open, lets see what these silver headed scum left for us." said a deep yet muffled voice from the other side. Siria switched her weapon to fire and so did the rest of her marines. they all took aim and cover the best they could in the limited cover of shelves and crates of guns and munitions. The crate had three locks, one already was compromised, the captain switched her thermal rounds to shredder rounds for any armor the batarians may have. The second lock disengaged and she took a knee and her heart nearly stopped as the hiss of the final lock disengaging reached her ears. She placed her finger on the trigger waiting on the final seals to pop and the hatch to open. The last seal was popped and then a voice,

"What the hell are you doing!? We don't have time for this, the turians will be sending ships soon to investigate. Get those grates loaded onto the ship and lets get out of here."

"Yes Dur'Kahn"

The locks were reengaged from the outside and the marines all stood still no one saying a word. Dur'Kahn, one of top lieutenants of SOK. He was responsible for the last attacks on turian trade shipments leaving no survivors. Minuets latter heavy lift mechs lifted the crates and transferd them to the other ship. They were now aboard a batarian terrorist vessel and now on there way to the jaws of the beast.

Meanwhile...

Admiral Bakiro
2nd Fleet

The admiral read reports from several incoming sources but on top was from his ships security teams informing that the salarian special tactics group has reviled itself. Coming out of cloaking was a smart move, had they gotten to close under these high tensions the admiral may have ordered them to be shot! That could have been a whole other headache to deal with and the primarch was already breathing down his neck. Looking around the admiral send in the orders to have the salarian teams dock on his dreadnought and 2nd fleet flag ship, "The Vik'tanii". From there the admiral stepped onto the nearest lift to make is way to the docking area to meet the salarian allies.

General Sarcarel looked out on the construction works. What did he feel? Pride? Or repulsion? Maybe it was a bit of both.

Being named Superior Overseer for Military Infrastructure had on the face of it appeared to be a great leap forward in his career. Following the mismanagement of the previous slave revolts, nigh on eighty high-ranking officials had found themselves joining the mass recycling vats set up following the eventual victory of the Hegemony's forces. Sarcarel, the victor of the Darne Valley firefight, was approached by one of Gherish's aides, offering him one of the recently vacated positions. Superior Overseer had sounded like an important position, one in which he would work alongside the Supreme Leader himself.

He never even saw the leader when his insignia was attached to his breast.

Now all he could do was watch thousands clamber about skyscraper-sized lumps of metal as it was carved in to the hull of another of the Hegemony's warships.

For the master race, he muttered, again seething at his post. No one else would do it. He found that out quite quickly. All the men Gherish wanted to place here were given other assignments. That was a rusted dagger in his pride. My career ends here.

Traversal Colonial Viceroyalty

Viceroy Al'niah

Al'niah pulled at her collar as the news finally came though that the Republics have agreed to the ascension of her position as well as the reforming of Asari colonies in the Traverse. The Traversal Colonial Viceroyalty or The Asari Viceroyalty will be a leading figure in Asari expansion into the Frontiers of the galaxy with the United army being renamed to the Viceroyal Rangers as well as the expansion into the Ismar frontier to legitimize the claim.

Stepping onto the balcony of the newly renamed Viceroyal Senate Towers, she looked out onto the recently trained army of the 1st Viceroyal Ranger Corps and the Citzens of Eden Valley who have recently been allowed out of the Turians Safe Camps after the radicals laid down their arms after the massacre outside the capital was heard about.

She stepped out to the edge to address the crowds, the army in training suddenly standing in attention while the crowds of civilians slowly hushing as the Matriarch took the stage. Al'niah cleared her thought and glanced at the recording drones that hovered silently at many angles to capture as much shots as they needed.

"Today I would like to announce the ascension of the Colony of Eden Valley to the capital of a newly formed the Asari Traversal Colonial Viceroyalty with me Matriarch Al'niah being appointed the the most prestigious position of Viceroy and the newly appointed Governor of Zorya Matriarch Kaiora T'slonia. The 1st United Army will be renamed into the 1st Viceroyal Ranger Corps with the Colonial Defense Fleet being reorganized into the Viceroyal Navy with Supreme Admiral Undara U'slona at its head.

This is a proud day in deed with first steps of Asari influence reaching out further into the galaxy. As Viceroy I'll do everything in my power to develop and safeguard the territories of the Isamr Frontier and future holdings of the Viceroyalty and the expansion of military and economic might. No longer will Eden Valley be considered the most internally disputed colony. No! It will be known as the center peace of a new Asari Colonial power.

With the civil war at the end my first act as Viceroy is to reorganize the recently absorbed militaries of now extinct Courts and Republics of Eden Valley to the Garrisons of both Eden Valley and the Ismar Frontier Provincial capital of Zorya. All council peacekeeping forces (excluding the Asari Republics, they have the jurisdiction to be here),are here by asked to leave Eden Valley. For their...services are no longer required to maintain the stability of the planet. The Peacekeeper Memorial will be erected in the Senate Courtyard in remembrance of the lives given for the sake of the Colony.
".

With what she needed to say said,Viceroy Al'niah looked on to the applauding civilians and the new Rangers who saluted at the reforms if they liked them or not. She couldn't help but smile and wave at them before other matters stared to draw her attention away and was wished away to do her duties by her newly informed advisers. She saw that the Krogan were requiring a loan and the Salarians have already left.

Code: Select all
To:Clan Urdnot
From:Newly Appointed Viceroy Matriarch Al'niah of the TCV

Your loan shall be granted to you,we expect the sun to returned as soon as possible for the newly formed Viceroyalty will be needing every credit to perform the project of colonizing the Isamr frontier and other Nearby Clusters.

Cyrene

Cyrene was a moon colony located fairly close to the Terminus Systems. There has been little problem on the colony until it disappeared off the charts with no traces. The first conclusion was that some pirate gangs came and abducted the population living there, but due to there being no damage to the colony except for looters, that idea was thrown out of the window.

Commander Jiang was leading his squad of N6s and N5s in an operation to find any information on what happened. The Prime Minister herself gave these orders and their Major followed it. Regardless, most of them doubt they will be able to find anything useful on what happened on the colony before they arrived. Other than some light damage due to looters, the colony was mainly intact, with no sign of fighting or bodies lying around.

"Alright, break up into three teams of nine, we're going to search this whole colony inside and out until we are ordered to pull out. Only engage hostiles if absolutely necessary. Understand?"

"Yes sir!"

The soldiers broke up into their teams and began to move in separate directions. While it would still take time for the whole colony to be scouted out, they had a better chance of finding something as they covered more ground. There had to be some evidence on what had happened in the area, if not, this mission proved nothing and was a waste of time.
Uh, they're called green hearts.

You racist.

Turian 2nd Fleet,
Sigurd's Cradle

The Phantom had received the orders to dock in the Turian Dreadnought, and had just touched down and opened the main ramp when Wiks saw the Turian Admiral standing at the base of the ramp. "Admiral Bakiro?" asked Wiks. After a slight nod, Wiks continued "I am Padok Wiks, Union Commando of the STG, as I mentioned over communications. How may my teams and I be of assistance?"

Salarian Observation Outpost X-20194,
Khar'shan

"Commando Rizen, we have massively increased movement of Batarian resource trawlers. This kind of activity is unprecedented, they must be building something in orbit." said one of the STG team members across Khar'shan via a secure communication channel. Thankfully the Batarians never were good at cyber or electronic warfare. The report of increased movement was quickly confirmed by the other teams on the planet. "Very well." Rizen said on the secure comms, before turning to one of the SpecOps members he was stationed with at the outpost. "Fire up the laser telescope. We're taking a look in orbit." After several minutes of setting up, connecting, and calibrating the laser scope, Rizen peeked through it to discern what the Batarians were up to. "Hmm.. interesting... unfortunately I can't get an extremely clean look at it, but STGHQ should be able to sharpen the images, although, some of these profiles seem famili--" Rizen backed his head away from the telescope's eyepiece. "Dreadnoughts... the Batarians are building dreadnoughts." Rizen looks back through the scope, and begins using the integrated camera to take pictures of as many of the fuzzy figures as he could, before compiling them into a message packet, which was triple encrypted, and sent out from the outposts message terminal to comm buoys in orbit, using a fake message ID with a virus attached, marking the message as having been sent from an Asari, "Aunt Mezlina" concerning a chocolate and bacon cookie recipe (an anomaly of Earth cuisine that the Asari love) from the Citadel, and the virus would delete the logs on the comm buoys behind it, and create fake message entries once the packet was relayed to the Citadel, and placed en route to Sur'Kesh.

STGHQ,
Sur'Kesh

"Priority message coming in, from Khar'shan! Running decryption now... Complete" High Commander Gubame heard the call and arrived at the desk of the officer running the decryption. "High Commander, message reads: "Batarians are building dreadnoughts, images attached. They require cleaning up." Orders, sir?" "Images on the main screen, run the image sharpener."

The images were all placed on the main monitor, and the program began to run. Green lines ran from top to bottom, and each time, the images became clearer and clearer. 'It's a good thing we decided to spring for the latest version.. The processed image is incredible' thought Gubame. "Process complete sir. I count.. seven to ten dreadnoughts, possibly more, but there's a minimum of seven, for sure." said the officer.

"Get it to the Council. Now. Diplomatic priority channel. If the buoys are occupied, kick messages off, this gets to them in thirty seconds. Go." said the Commander. "Working.. Encryption complete. Request lined for the diplomatic channel.. The buoy is a little full, but we should have full speed. Processing complete, images attached. Message is.. away. Confirmation receipt from the Council has been received. They have the message. I also CC'ed the Primarch directly, both he and the Council have a copy. They're going to be in for a rough day." said the officer.

"Yes. They will be. Increase the readiness level of the fleets, and move the Patrol fleet here in Pranas and rendezvous with the Citadel fleet. I want to be able to move in a second if the Turians decide to go break something."

"Orders sent, fleets have mobilized."

Tuckanka: Urdnot Capital

"The Krogan Defense Fleet?" Urdnot Logar asked, looking at Dak'ir with an incredulous expression, while Nakmor Sigard continued to read through the plans for the recreation of the Krogan fleets. Dak'ir has been brainstorming it for a while now, and was giving two trusted Warlords, another project he was working on, the first look at it. Nakmor Sigard was a recent addition to his other project and had come to him after Clan Nakmor had joined the treaties, after much intense negotiation, assurances, and pacts.

"Yes Logar, is there a problem with the plans?" Dak'ir asked.

"Well... It's just the Citadel Council will never go for this, they would rather see the Krogan dead then let us have a fleet, let alone some say in our space sovereignty," Logar responded, to which Dak'ir nodded before turning to Sigard and saying,

"What do you think Nakmor Sigard?"

After a few more seconds of looking through the plans, the Nakmor Krogan turned towards Urdnot's leader and stated, "Why should we care what the Citadel thinks," before looking back at the datapad.

After a few moments of silence, Dak'ir said, "Well your both right to an extent, the Council will probably never go for it and really, that shouldn't bother us to much, but we have to be realistic, at the moment what they say about our space sovereignty goes, we have no way of challenging it and that's a fact, but that shouldn't deter us.. From what I have outlined, we'll start off small, fighters, interceptors, and maybe some corvettes, take the project one step at a time as to not make anyone completely shit themselves.. Of course this is all in the plans, so I'll let you two continue with it.... Also, I plan on notifying the Citadel Council of what I plan on doing, just like when we built the shipyards... Calm yourself Sigard!" Dak'ir roared when the other Krogan began to lose his temper at the thought of doing so.

"I am not asking for their permission if that's what you're thinking, merely notifying them so that their STG shit heads don't blow this out of proportion and cause a second genophage, and if the Council has a problem with it they can come and see me about it... understand Sigard?" Dak'ir finished.

After a few intense seconds, the other Krogna hesitantly nodded and said, "I suppose that makes sense, no need to disturb the shit pile to much when they can just bombard us from orbit."

"Good, now if you'll excuse me, I need to send off that said message, also Logar, send the basic information to the other Clan Leaders, nothing to in-depth though" Dak'ir said to the two Krogan before leaving them to look through the data.

To: Citadel Council Members (copies message to all of them)
From: Urdnot Dak'ir, Leader of Clan Urdnot

Yet again I am sending you all a message to tell you that Clan Urdnot and it's allies are planning on rebuilding our defense fleet, in terms of light craft such as fighters and interceptors. Like I said earlier, we're are not building dreadnoughts so it would be nice you all refrained from throwing a fit about this. If you have a problem with what we're doing, my office hours are all day everyday.

Ever your's,

Urdnot Dak'ir
The perpetual lurker of NS, trudging through the desolate winter.

STGHQ,
Sur'Kesh

High Commander Gubame had just sat back down at his desk in the peace and quiet of his office when an officer came in, requesting his presence in the main room. Grumbling, Gubame got up, entered the room, and requested a sitrep.

"High Commander, the Turians have requested that we take our fleets that we tasked to Widow, relocate them over Palaven, and also reinforce it with some of our larger ships. Official reason is a "joint naval training exercise", which you and I both know means something is about to explode. Your orders?"

"Send a reply in the affirmative, and I'll draw up the fleet plans." Gubame said before returning to his office, and spending the next few hours reallocating personnel, ships, and fleet designations as he saw necessary. Once he was done, he gave a slight nod, and went back in to the main command room to transmit the orders himself to the fleets affected. Once that was done, he sat back down, and shut his eyes for the next hour.. or however long it would take for the next officer to come in and ask a question, which most likely would be in 3... 2... 1...

"High Commander? Your presence is requested, some meeting of some sort with the Economic Minister."
'Oh great, this nutjob.' thought Gubame, before he arose grumbling from his desk to go meet with the Minister about who knows what.

Hanna Fletcher/Cerberus XO-CS Odyssey(Frigate)-Terminus Systems

We had been keeping distance, monitoring the Turians from a distance as the situation developed. The stealth systems were still fully online and with no way to detect us until we vent the ship, visual detection is impossible at this range of course, we are safe from any retaliation. The Captain is also confident that we can outrun the Turian guests. Things got somewhat more interesting when another ship revealed itself, and began boarding with a Turian Dreadnought several dozen kilometers out. The ship signature, seemed Salarian, but it was obviously an advanced ship. The fact is however, that the Turians calling in the Salarians clears up all doubt.

Something is happening on this world.

The objective is, should Cerberus be interested? Or are we simply wasting our time?

And that is a question that I will have to answer. The human abductions are the biggest priority now, but Cerberus cannot simply abandon it's other projects, and part of that is making sure we maintain a edge against potential threats against humanity. But in order to gather any valuable intel here, we either need to maintain observation for a indefinite amount of time, or bring the Turians to us and extract the intel we need that way.

My steps echoed behind me as I approached the Captain and informed him of my plan. As I finished detailing the outline, he simply peered over at me, and asked me if I knew the risks of the plan. That I could be in Turian captivity indefinitely. I gave a confident tone as I confirmed it.

"I know."

1 Hour Later
The shuttle was battered to simulate signs of battle, as the distress signal rang out. A open signal, one that would easily be tracked by both the Salarian and Turian ships. The CS Odyssey then jumped to FTL and out of the System, lying in wait outside range for me to complete my own mission, and call for extraction when the chance presents itself. The Turians wont kill me, as a live Cerberus captive is too valuable to waste when they find me. Instead, they will bring me aboard their own ship where I will need to either covertly plant a virus to infect their systems, a soft one, which will feed the information they gather here to the Illusive Man. Or create a situation myself if one does not present itself.

As for my rescue, the best chance will be when the Turians attempt to transfer me to a prison world. Where the Odyssey can intercept and spring me. It was a awful risk, but something told me that this would be worth it. As I sat down, taking in the silence of the transport, as the red warning lights flashed inside, I patiently awaited for the Turian team to fine me and bring me aboard their ship.

1st MEU, Task Force 1
Batarian pirate ship
7 hours after the civil ship
was attacked...
Captain Siria Victus

Captain Victus remained in a deep concentration, listening to every sound the old rusty batarian pirate vessel made. Following every sound of the SOK personnel trying to map the ship in her head best she could while her tech sergeant made scan so the ship himself. The ship was standard batarian design for a light transport of this size, it seemed to outfitted with broadside cannon which were automated, by all accounts this ship was 60 years out of date but they kept pushing the machine likely till it couldn't go any more, then they would scrap it. But why bother think about something that didn't matter to her anyway? Probably because Siria was scared shitless but needed to keep her mind on something while they sat in the darkness.

The ship slowed and then jerked to a stop, lifting Siria's head from its resting place in the corner and bumping her fringe rather hard on bulkhead. Jerking her eyes open Siria gripped her weapon and looked in the dark to the silhouettes of her squad. It was time, the ship was here and that meant it was time to work. The marines shook off there sleep and the adrenaline began to pump as they could hear automated machines moving crates around inside the ship. One by one they waited till finally they were lifted from the ships cargo bay and onto, what she assumed was a flat bed. or some sort of other ground based transport. After a very short transportation to what blueprints considered a warehouse they stopped and waited. Scanning and watching movement of security for only a matter of minuets till there was a beak and the squad had there chance. Popping the seals on there crate very slowly the crate hatch creaked open and the marines jumped out covering each-other in a bounding over-watch through the warehouse. The 16 marines broke up into 4 groups to move faster through the vast alley ways of supply crates. them 3 and 4 took out three contacts standing around a break room while 2 moved and secured the catwalk above and cover team 1 below as they followed the plans and located thee manhole.

Siria taking point in team 1 moved fluidly as she danced through the isles of crates, weapons, even passing a dead batarian or two left over by her otheer teams. Keeping her rifle leaved she looked left and then right quickly as she turned the corners, her tech officer setting nav point periodically as they made there way through the large building. It seemed odd that the SOK would not have more guards, but at the same time it wasn't nearly as odd due to it being a low security area, how could they predict teams coming through cargo containers after all? The marines made a final left arriving at a large hole in the ground, big enough for a krogan to fit. Signaling her teams to regroup she waited only moments before they arrived nearly simultaneously. Pointing to her weapons sergeant and one private to clear the sewage area she spun around to cover her sector, the left side of formation facing the west side of the warehouse. Looking around she saw a flash of light, followed by the hydraulics of a door opening, she then positioned her rifle, as soon as the lower half of the body saw visible she let three rounds fly to there target, dropping the batarian worker before he could even see his killer. Her sergeant gave the all clear and they all began there way into the sewage tunnels.

After some time moving through the tunnels they hit there point of interest and began to emerge from a service hatch and into an alley way. Tech disabled all scanners and cameras in the area just before securing the surface.

Siria moved quietly along the wall of the apartment building. Looking up to check the fire escape before she would enter. Swinging her weapon to level as her men reach corner and instinctively moved into a line formation behind her. All Covering there sectors, Looking up, Victus noticed she could not reach the escape ladder. Siria signals a position hold with the pull of a fist. Then with the motion of a slanted hand and walk of the other two fingers the Marines formed into a file as Victus sent the other marines into a turian ladder. Up her shoulders the nine climbed till there were all but five that held fast at the bottom. Giving a nod to the second team they continued up the escape. Siria readys up and grips her rifle with a white knuckle grip, she spun to the sound of a door swinging open. A child, looking at men in black armored uniforms. Clearly terrified. Sira reached out to the little boy. "It is okay, you are safe. Stay qui-" before Victus could finish the child darted for the door. Before he had time to stop his men they delivered three rounds into his back and head, splinting the apart. The child dropped like a stone, what was left of his head hitting the floor before the rest of his body. "Enemy killed in action." one marine whispered. Victus looked to her team. All nodded in a cold silence. Victus gathered her senses and gestures toward the door signaling a breach. One marine pulls the body of the child toward a pile of garbage as the team opens the door. The other team signals there ready through coms with one word. "Move." glass on the fourth floor shatters as concussion grenades overtake the hostiles and civilians alike. The same for Siria. Opening up the door they clearly held a line of sight as they moved room by room. Siria and her team use omni cuffs to subdue the people in the rooms, hostiles or not.

After a few moments her team leaves one to guard the detainees. Siria clears left and steps down the halls toward the stairs. Suddenly heavy gun fire if heard floors above. Victus side steps up the stairs and clears the floor above her. The next hall is empty. Oleh directs three to clear all the rooms. Suddenly the gun fire above halts., then the team above breaks over coms again, "Clear. 4 and 3." Siria looked at his men as they looked back and gave a nod. Her weapons sergeant spoke "It looks clear maam!" with those words a spray of automatic fire came from the other side of the wall to his right. He fell, dead before he hit the floor, gushing blood from several places. The rest of the team opened fire into the wall till there magazines fell to the floor empty as they reloaded. The two other marines clear the room. "Clear." Siria looked down at her fallen brother with sadness and anger.

She turned, hardly able to look at the fallen mans face as the medics lifted him into a bag as there tech dones powered on t carry him. Looking into a room down stairs the building had been secured. She broke over coms to her now action sergeant, "Finish the scans, he is in the building, find him."

2nd Fleet
Admiral Bakiro
Siguards Cradle

Admiral Bakiro gave a slight polite bow and gestured the salarian towards the interior of his ship, "Wiks, I have heard of you, but some other time we will have a chance to talk about your accomplishments, right now I have problem. And you and your men can help. " The Admiral was quick to hand over a isolated data pad with all the information on the world below and the missing fighters. "About two weeks ago we lost 3 fighters in a training exercise. We cannot locate them what so ever." Looking to the salarian and then gesturing towards a fighter that was stored in the cargo bay, "Wiks, our fighters don't just lose control. Our pilots don't just fly into an undocumented worlds atmosphere to shake a friendly fighter squad. Especially during a damn training exercise." The admiral looked at Wiks to see if he understood what he was implying.

Moments latter ensign Turis approached totting a stack of data-pads. "Excuse me admiral, we have a problem."
The admiral took the data pad and began to read. They were transmissions from a Cerberus shuttle.. The admiral looked up and shoved the data pad back at the ensign, "I want you to send two fighter squads and a wolf pack to deal with this ensign isolate the humans and keep them separate from the rest of the fleet. this could be a trap. ." He nodded and ran off to carry out the admirals orders.

Captain Polsin
Siguards Cradle

"Polsin waved his hands over his holographic controls and his fighter thrusters flared to life and his mass effect fields kicked in, moments latter his wing was ready and they dipped away into the void of space to meet up with commander Fedor's Wolf Pack, The fighter squadron and six frigates moved toward the distress call in a stagerd wedge formation. Simultaneously they hit FTL and arrived at there target moment latter. A small shuttle, beat up and scorched from battler. The human design and the recognizable black and orange logo gave it all away. Cerberus. The captain opened coms and began to speak, "Cerberus vessel, you have entered turian controlled space. Power down your engines and weapon systems and prepare to be boarded." Just then the wold pack arrived, one frigate opened its starboard side hatch and dozens of Extra-Vehicular Activity Marines entered into vacuum. Most held heavy weapons ready to blow the shuttle apart at any sign of resistance. One marine used his thruster pack to float over to the shuttle and began to knock on the port hole. "Put on your masks!" he communicated as he the tech sergeant behind him began to order hatch open.

Turian 2nd fleet,
Sigurd's Cradle

After hearing the situation from Admiral Bakiro, Wiks nods, before excusing himself from the Admiral's presence, and returning the Phantom.
"Here's the situation; three Turian fighters have gone missing on the planet we're currently over. I want the SpecOps from Recon Team Five, and one more from Recon Team Two with me, the other three teams stay with Aex, and be ready to respond if needed. The Phantom itself will go down to the planet and aid in the search, I'll have one of the shuttles with me here on the Turian command ship, but the Phantom will retain the other two. Alright, move out in five, I want the Phantom to go ASAP. Be careful, there may be something there. We all know how much the Turians love protocol, and for them to not follow it and disappear... Keep your eyes open, Phantom. Use the enhanced sensors from as safe a distance as you can manage."
The personnel nodded, before going to complete their assigned tasks. Wiks directed the two teams with him to remain on alert should anything happen, while at the same time the Phantom fires up its engines and lifting off from the hangar, to aid with the search below.
