Borinata, regional player, has decided to accept applications for embassies from the various nations of the world, in hopes of gaining international recognition to further its commercial and philosophical interests. Please feel free to apply, if your nation is accepted, please inform the Borinatan government (via telegram) how to establish a reciprocal embassy in your nation.
Laws and regulations:
Please carefully read these rules before applying for an embassy.

Ambassadors, consuls, diplomats and embassy administrative/technical support staff are immune from: 1. Search and seizure of their person, possessions or place of residence; 2. Arrest or detention; 3. Subpoena to serve as a witness in a criminal (though not civil) court proceeding; and 4. prosecution of all misdemeanors and felony crimes. However, if substantial evidence is raised accusing a diplomatic official of a capital offenses (rape, murder, and kidnapping) Borinata will request a suspension of the official's immunity. Failing this, the official will be declared a persona non grata and forced to leave the country within 36 hours.
Embassy security and service staff, including chefs, doctors, maids, drivers, etc. are not subject to any immunity at any time, except official acts carried out on behalf of the diplomatic mission.
Relatives, friends and visitors of diplomatic officials are not subject to any immunity at any time.
All non-nationals will be treated in accordance with the Borinatan Federal Charter and Citizen Manifesto.
Extraterritoriality:
All embassy territory is recognized as territory of the represented nation. Officials acting on behalf of Borinata, its states or municipalities may not enter the embassy without the consent of the representing country. However, Borinata reserves the right to bar entry or exit from the embassy for any reason.
Embassy lots:
The represented nation will be responsible for the acquisition, construction, maintenance and furnishing of it's embassy grounds and facilities. Help with coordinating this process may be obtained from the Office of the Federal Senate's Foreign Affairs Committee, care of Angel Rimunn
Security:
While the Borinatan government encourages the represented nation to employ the use of Brigadiers International, Borinata's premiere armed services corporation, we understand nations may wish to furnish their own security.
Up to ten guards are permitted, each is allowed to carry two sidearms and any necessary non-lethal weapons off of embassy grounds and each is permitted the aforementioned weapons as well as an assault rifle and a sub-machine firearm for use on embassy grounds.
