Second Nuclear Test of Mei-Dai

a Desert Island in The South Pacific

from a Cruiser, Military Brass watched this island, waiting for something as a Countdown started.

10....9...8....7....6....5....4....3....2...1...


Sudddenly a Bright flash covered the island as a large Boom came. once the flash died down, a Large Mushuroom cloud formed from the blast of a 60 Megaton Nuclear weapon. This was a second test of a Nuclear bomb with in two months. Mei-Dai was becoming a Nuclear Power as already, two Nuclear Power Plants were built, along with a few Wind Farms as Mei-Dai was moving to clean enegry.

But for the Bomb, it was to show any enemies of Mei-Dai that it would make sure it could make any enemies into plate glass.

Grand Leader of Laos, Huya Mi-Hung suna Maluya, has condemened this act, putting down the nation of Mei-Dai for these nuclear tests.

"This act shows that the world is no longer safe why Tyrants horde nuclear weapons for the sake of death and destruction! We are cutting off trade with Mei-Dai untill they dispose of these weapons." Earlier today, Huya Maluya signed a bill that would allow the region of Mulasia to build a missle defence system, and to prep insurgents on nuclear sabotage.

We have a right to test our nuclear weapons, unlike what Laos wants. Already we have arrested Laotian spies inside Mei-Dai and will find out who sent them. If any more threats by Laos are said, then We WILL Invade Laos and make it part of the Empire, as we did with Thailand and Vetinam.

Dear Mr.Maluya, many fear war between us and Mei-Dai, however, operation "Never back down" is in effect. Our spies have taken the Launch Codes and will fire them on Mei-Dai itself, not only that, but we have planted a new strain of Anthrax, which will be launched in the capital city, and other major cities.

It is the sould responsibility for any national power who aquires Nuclear weapons from either it's own sources, or from ourside sources, to use them in a reasonable manner. The Shazbotdom Empire has noticed the two nuclear tests by The Constitutional China Empire of Mei-Dai and we will continue to monitor the situation close at hand. Although we will not, in any way, allow for the illegal invasion and annexation of The Constitutional China Empire of Mei-Dai by The Democratic States of Laos Refugees.

If there is an attempt to attack Mei-Dait by Laos Refugees, the Shazbotdom Empire will become involved and we will do everything in our power to force back the invasion, and if we feel that the Laosian government is a danger to the peace of the region, invade Laos Refugees and establish a more peaceful government within their nation.

The Meiese were prepareing for a all out war against The Laotians. Laos Refugees was already on the posable loseing side of a war, as Mei-Dai controled territory east, west and north of it. Thailand and Vietnam were Meiese ruled provinces of The Empire and The Meiese homeland of Southern China was to the north.

In Thailand, 20,000 Troops were massing at the boarder while in Vietnam, over 400,000 were massing, ready to strike. in Southern China, a Large Force of 700,000 was massed, Laos Refugees was in trouble now.

In Mei-Dai, The Government had started Crackdowns on Anti-Government Laotians. The general in Charge, a Laotian known as Pao Vatthana, was begining to look out for any enemy spies. He would have them arrested and then killed.

In the whole of the Empire, a Draft was started to expand the army and air force as new vehicles and planes were being built as war was indead coming. It would be a war to the Death.

As war was about to start in Laosia, the Grand Leader, educated everyone in the ways of Guerllia Warfare. The troops of Mei-Dai would have to go through brutal jungles to reach the first major village, so he worked on this, all roads were barricaded with Guerllia camps all along the Laosia and Mei-Dai boarder, only through path finders could find these camps.

With that came a advantage, the Mei-Dai may have conquered Vietnam, one of the most highly rated Guerllia armies in the world, but the Grand Leader trained his Guerllias to be the best of the best. They were like ghosts. He destroyed all bridges and other major ways to get to Mari-Hung, a rich jungle village with a long river. If the invader Mei-Dai wanted in to Laosia, they would have to go through hell. The Guerllia camps had installed minefields, which would take weeks to get through, not only that, they had purchesed Land to air missles to protect any camps from airstrikes. They may be out numbered, but they are not out smarted.

To bad that Laosia had not read the book of MODERN Warfare, In which Satellites could look down on a enemy nation and see what they were doing. Mei-Dai had lanuched it's first Spy Satellite two weeks before the threat of war started. The enemy had no way of shooting down Satellites and also that they were being watched.

Troop Movments on the ground were enough to show that Laosia was a threat. But yet The Laotians should also have been watching them selves, as Mei-Dai had spies in Laos, Fallow Laotians who were spying on the enemy. Seems that Laos was stupid.

The Meiese had No launch codes as they had no ICBMs....yet. The Codes were fake, they only let in a virus into any Comptuers they had, shuting them down. Also that The Meiese would lose because of Guerilla fighters and Land Mines? The Laotians had forgot that Guerillas could never hold on for long and Mines could be removed. Also Placeing Guerilla Camps at The Boarder was also a Mistake......It was a deadly Mistake for Laos.

Mei-Dai had a very good Chance at winning also as Laos had no one surporting them and seemed like no one would.

We figured those were your satellites, so we are not setting up jammers to prevent anyone from knowing the locations of the camps, and with the assistance of a technology advanced nation that remains anonymous, we have regained support on our computers, and we are now launching fighters to kamikaze in to your troops and tanks.

Laos was indeed backwards as to think Mei-Dai could not handle the planes, which were few as latest reports showed that Laosia was poor, its economy was weak and that The tales of Anti-Aircraft Missiles was posably not true.

Meiese own Anti-Aircraft Defenses on the other hand were very much real and any enemy plane heading for the front was doomed to be blasted to nothing if they dared reached the range of Meiese Radar, which was long ranged as it's missiles.

at The Imperial Diet in Guangzhou, which was the Capital, The Prime Minister signed a Bill calling for The Total Annexation of Laos into The Empire, seeing it's Curent Rulers as Terrorists and Dictators.

This was also to call what Laos was doing a Act of War against The Constitutional China Empire of Mei-Dai. Later, the Diet voted 80 to 13 to declare War on Laos Refugees.

On The Thailand-Laos Boarder, Artillery Bombardment started as soon as war was declared. Targeting The Cities of Muang Pakxan, Muang Khammouan, Savannakhet and The Capital city it self: Vientiane. Field Guns and Rocket Artillery fired against the enemy positions all along The Mekong River, Troops were waiting for the order to move.

In Vietnam, Speical Forces were already crossing into Laos as Artillery started firing on the enemy. Their Mission was to wipe out any Guerilla Camps and also kill Laotian Political Leaders to pave the way for a Full Scale Invasion.

To The North in China, Meiese Forces were starting to move in. Artillery Pounded enemy Guerilla Camps that were stupid enough to be close to the boarder. Mine sweaper Infantry also went to work in finding and getting rid of land mines.

a $40 Billion Reward was posted for the capture of enemy leader and wanted Terrorist, Huya Mi-Hung Suna Maluya.

As The Grand Leader and his cabinet could see, total war was coming, however, he had quickly devised a plan, he bought one million USD dollers worth of a custom made Ak-47 varient, a cheap but deadly Laosian Assualt rifle, he then revealed his plan to his cabinet.

"Earlier today, V.L.F(Vietnam Liberation Front) handed out 500,000 LARs to the public, and they have just started a riot, this riot will quickly engaulf all of vietnam, then spread to Thailand, where the A.M.D.G (Anti Mei-Dai Group) have planted nerve gas canisters along busy roads. In just a few hours, the Mei-Dai army will have to turn around, then take care of this, or face loseing 2 major nations."

Sadly, The Laotians were VERY mistaken, as their puppets were captured. Vietnam and Thailand were Too Loyal to the Empire to rebel, too loyal in fact that they killed the "Vietnam Liberation Front" Members and the AMDG members in any city and village in the two provences.

As for the Nerve Gas Plot, it fell apart fast also, The Terrorists were cought thanks to The Thailand Guard and The Meiese Spy Network. They were hung in public, a warning to anyone else who was still alive. The Gas Bombs wree also found and gotten rid of.

Emperor John Press of the Empire of Aglorea stood behind a podium as cameras trained on him. He sighed and spoke. "Today, tensions between Mei-Dai and Laos Refugees became ever more dangerous. I am now officially stating that the Empire of Aglorea will not enter into the conflict, but will watch it very closely. In addition, I would like to extend congratulations to Mei-Dai for making the move towards clean energy and also for becoming a nuclear power. A nation is free to test it's weapons on it's own soil." He paused for a moment to see the reactions of the reporters in the crowd.

"I also demand that both sides of the conflict step down before the standoff erupts into a full, deadly war." With that, the Emperor turned around and left the room and reporters began to shout questions.

The Grand Leader annouced today, that he would go to peace with Mei-Dai, if they agreed they would share nuclear power with Laosia, and if they promise to use nukes in only extreme cases.

"We are all Asian born, some of us, with different ideas, but that is what makes us special, this war is one sided, and I do believe I made the mistake of rushing in to this, for that I am sorry, but we shall keep our heads high, but if war must happen, then we will all fight to the bitter death"
