Bamori Spaceport,
Sur'Kesh

"Does anyone have eyes on him?" questioned Rarhorn Aex, as he was standing at one of the security checkpoints into the central area of the spaceport.
"Negative." replied Jule.
"No eyes." said Adina.
"Teams 1-7 have had no luck, either. Are our teams at the shuttle gates in position?" asked Aex
"Yes sir, we're all in place. Security is also on the lookout, and the operatives at HQ have flagged all of his accounts. The second he purchases a ticket, we'll know where he's going, and will be ready to intercept."
"Good to hear. Have the security systems turned up anything?"
"Yes sir, we have three possible hits, one at 78%, another at 84%, and one at 93%. Several of our teams have been pulled to coordinate with security and investigate."
"Good. Contact me once they've been investigated."

15 minutes later.

The two security teams assigned to look at the lower two probabilities had done so, and those two were not the traitor, however, the team assigned to the third visually confirmed the identity of the Salarian, and it was indeed who they were looking for.
"Aex, we found him. Terminal A34, line 6. Waiting for a shuttle to Illium."
"Excellent work, all teams, converge. Remain as covert as possible until everyone is in position."
After several minutes, both teams, Adina, Jule, and Aex were in position around Taralan. "On my mark... 3... 2... 1... Go! Go! Go! Taralan, on the ground, now!"

After many headed discussions and a filibuster or two latter Trade shipments from Ilium have garnered successful and new routs have opened. (Remember to devote ships to defend this rout or it may become prey to the criminals in the next months.) +100 credits a month for the next 3 months.

(10) Turian Hierarchy - Archangelskl Oblast -

(6) Salarian Union - Celivaia - The salarian union gains a supportive asset in thethe ship building industy from the Volus Elkos Combine. It may just be an attempt at buttering you up for a council seat. But hell, extra production is extra production, am i right? +60 credits and -10% on ship build times for this month on Sur'Kesh.

(10) Batarian Hegemony - Argentumurbem - The Hegemony had breakthroughs in industrial technology! 90% Production on Khar'shan for 3 months with 3 free Minor Industrial Complexes to place on your choice of worlds. +84.7 credits.

(6) Krogan (Urdnot Clan) - The Krogan - To your amusement the commercials were a slight success. The Save the Krogan foundation donates 60c.

(2) Quarian Flotilla - Vicavian Empire - Critical life support malfunction.. a fuel leak caused major failure in oxygen systems aboard one of your dreadnoughts. By the time the crew figured this out much of the crew had become delirious or keeled over from lack of oxygen falling to the floor unconscious and dying from lack of oxygen. Most aboard had died before back up systems were manually restarted by the few remaining crew. -110c to replace to workforce aboard the dreadnought and repair all systems. -2 Marine Division -1 spec ops unit (Pilgrimage = +1 frigate)

(7) Elcor Courts - Pac Kindom - The Hannar offer a trade agreement for either 70 credits right now, or 30 credits over the course of 3 month.

(7) Vorcha - Dixmix - Your attack on Joab as been successful and the population has foolishly exposed several mineral deposits. You can mine them for 30 credits over the course of three months, or you can sell them off to a volus mining company for 70 credits right now.

(4) The New Soviet Republics - Versail - inactive

(8) The Pantheon Protocol - Dernland - The Cerberus agent has given away information of several safe houses which lead to the recovery of 80 credits and 1 free close combat specialty

(2) Clan Krerdok - Kinistian - Traitors! 3 of your marine divisions and your entire armored division have betray you! In an unsuccessful attempt to overthrow you, the traitors destroyed 1 major industrial complex and then managed to retreat, many retreating into the wilderness and other hopping aboard ships and abandoning the world in droves.

(1) Colony of Eden Valley - Yonwood - You are on the cusp of civil war. It is unclear who fired first but an argument between republic and court troops has lead to four dead asari and two dead elcor. The Courts are blaming the asari and saying it was self defense. The asari say the same. Protesting forces gather face to face in the capital and you can only expect an all out slugging match between the two very soon. In this you must chose one side and attempt to hold power or stay out of it entirely but this will have its own consequences.

(3) Galactic United Free Territory - Greater Istanistan - Inactive

(7) Tergatus Tactical Support Unit - wip

STGHQ,
Sur'Kesh

The Dalatrass had been watching the security system's status feed into the STGHQ underneath her office in order to keep an eye on the developing situation in the Bamori Spaceport. She had just watched the 30-man team successfully apprehend the traitor who had endangered so much with the Hierarchy. "Well, now that that's settled, I suppose I should send a message to the Primarch.." The Dalatrass then went up to her office topside and began writing the communique.

Code: Select all
Primarch,

No doubt, you know of the situation regarding Taralan, the Salarian who scanned the Tantalus Core in order to build schematics for it, presumably to sell them off. The STG, along with Asari Commandos on loan to us, apprehended him, and his datapad with the schematics, in the Bamori Spaceport here on Sur'Kesh 10 minutes ago from the time of writing this. Rest assured, this mistake will not happen again, and also be assured that Taralan will not see the light of day again, for what he has done. I hope, with time, we can put this situation behind us, and restore what was once shared between our two peoples.

Dalatrass Aerhin Relbana.

Shortly after she finished, her.. eccentric Economics Minister barreled into her office, papers flying, with a stupid grin on his face the size of a Mass Relay.

"Dalatrass, Dalatrass! I would like a meeting!" he said as he barged right on in, taking a seat at her desk, without a pause, offering the Dalatrass no chance to say no. "Dalatrass, I have more economic proposals for you! This one in particular, I like!" He shuffles through his rough stacks of papers, mumbling "No, not that one.." or "Heh, she would not like that one, that one has a personal human pony in it for her." and other such things before finally offering an "Ah-ha!" and presenting her with the correct economic proposal; Finish the current project on Mannovai, a rather large expansion of Jaeto, and a complete revitalization of Aeoghr, one of the Salarian's three original colonies that had recently fallen on some hard times. "With this proposal, Dalatrass, I fully believe that we can nearly double our economic revenue once more! We also received some things from the Volus company, Elkoss Combine, including a donation to economic infrastructure, and additional supplies for our shipyards this month... Although we currently have no production going on, heh." The Economics Minister finally gave a chance for the Dalatrass to speak, and she took it, before he went off on another 10-minute tirade about grain impacts on pork belly futures, or some such nonsense.
"Yes, Minister, that is completely acceptable. Use this month's funding, and complete these projects" said Relbana. "Yes Dalatrass, I'll get started right away with all the, whoaa... whoops!" said the Minister, right as he fell out of his chair, trying to get running start back to his office, dropping his entire sheaf of papers onto the floor of the Dalatrass' Office. "Heh, I'll get this cleaned up right away, Dalatrass.. Although, if you wouldn't mind helping.." the Minister insinuates. The Dalatrass leans back in her chair, and says "Not my division."

STGHQ,
Sur'Kesh

The Dalatrass entered in to the Headquarters of the Special Tasks Group at the behest of High Commander Gubame. She walked past the usual dozens of monitors, readouts, and displays before entering into his office, and taking a seat at what was assumed to be just another briefing.

"Office: Full shadow." As soon as the High Commander said that phrase, the glass windows, which offered a full view of the squadroom darkened, allowing no one to peer in, the door deadbolts sealed, and all monitoring devices shutdown. "Dalatrass, I assume you know what that means; nothing in, nothing out. Several hours ago, our operatives on Omega announced a complete coup. Aria T'Loak is no longer in power. The one identified as the leader is known only as 'The Gambler,' real name unknown. What we do know, however, is that he has a high connection to the information systems on Omega, presumably, that's what allowed him a success, albeit costly. Our operatives have remained hidden, thanks to standard STG Ewar training. I recommend assigning all teams attached to the Phantom to Omega. Have our teams dropped off, and the Phantom brought back here. It'll be tight, but we can fit several Assault Landers into the Phantom as well, make the approach to Omega easier. Beyond that... I think it's time we seriously began considering... installing Council leadership on Omega." The Commander then took out a datapad, and handed it to the Dalatrass. "This, is my recommendation for a military buildup with our next batch of funding. It will take every credit we have, even with the projected increases from our ongoing construction."
"I should have known you'd get access to the projections. They just came fresh out of the Economics Minister's supercomputer this morning. Human Hell, I'm surprised you even took this long to get them." replied the Dalatrass.
"Heh, I do have my way with information, Dalatrass. So, can I get your support for this operation?"
"Absolutely Commander. Deploy them."

Code: Select all
Immediate Order:
Rarhorn Aex, the Phantom, and Recon Team Five currently stationed aboard to depart to Omega, and rendezvous with Recon Team Two, currently aboard at a safehouse.
Specific Instructions for approach will be relayed upon arrival to Waypoint Cresh, coordinate with Recon Team Two for docking instructions with Omega.

Omega,
Operation Sunset Safehouse

At an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the main urban area in Omega, Union Commando Wix received the orders from STGHQ. "Alright men, prepare to move out. We have to help Recon Team Five and their shiny Phantom into Omega. Head for... Docking Port Four-Seven Besh. Secure it, and as learned with our past safehouse, loop all the monitoring device information, pass it back through the network to mask the op. Then hack into the hangar systems, open the doors, and then welcome our new compatriots to this fine piece of space we have here. Alright, let's go."

Omega

There is history in Omega, though no one who lives on it cares to learn. However if there is money in it, then anything goes. This is where the former Queen of Omega found home and this is where the Gambler made his. During the short reign of the Gambler, he was able to open more trade and profit coming from the station than ever before and was able to get access to the fleet of the former ruler. However he missed his body and his need for things such as love, but the computer he attatched had made it possible for him to make his Platinum Army. In the Afterlife club was the same as it was when Aria was in power.

Two human-like AI had came up with a Batarian in masked armor to the "palace" of the Gambler. No one knows what the Gambler was but all they saw was a human hologram in a 1950s Earth gangster suit. When the three came up to the empty lounge where their was a projector on the table and it turned on to have the Gambler citing down drinking a bottle of scotch. " Hello my boys and girl, how is my station?"

The woman Batarian turned on the Omi-tool and started to show the profit margins and others," we have been increasing our profits after we had built that dreadnought and reopened the mines. However, the mercenaries are still causing problems and aren't paying tribute like the rest of the smaller gangs that want to do business on our territory."

The Gambler gave a sigh," they think that just because they are the largest mercenary armies in the galaxy and Aria allowed them to operate here that they think not paying me for being in my turf? Drayik, send them an ultimatum. Either pay up or the Vorcha will be cleaning the districts with the rivers of blood that will be flowing after I'm done with them." She gave a nod and went off to do as she was told. She looked at the Gambler as a father figure by saving her as a child from slavers when he was rising his Platinum Army and she is the only one that is organic that he trust and knows what he was.

" Now about the increasing the bu..." he was cut short by a red flag being through the monitor information on the docks then it went clear. He knows it wasn't a glitch in the VI, he built the damn network on the docks after the blindspot that got the foreign Vorcha to come in and that burning down of a safehouse that belong to someone else. " Boys, there something going down in the docks. I need you to take the newly upgrade Sentience Division and check it out. It could be a smuggler or a gang war, but this sort of work does not seem to be true."

The brothers look at each other as they think that their father had one of those "bad feelings" that organics have. Even though he was just a brain in a stasis tank, he was still organic. " don't give me that look, you know what I'm talking about. Get to it boys." They started to walk off and went into invisible as they went to the Dock and went with their spec-ops team in secret to see the situation unfold in Dock Four-Seven Besh.

40 credits for stealth upgrades and EEC on 4 spec-ops teams

Tuchanka: Shipyards

Dak'ir and several clan representatives had been touring the shipyards and had just witnessed the completion of the two transport ships that they had been building the past two months. After some chest thumping macho Krogan theatrics, Dak'ir and the representatives were getting back into their transports to make their way back to their respective homes. Dak'ir sat down heavily in the back of his Tomkah and pulled out his data pad to catch up on what he had missed while he had been gallivanting about in the shipyards.

The first report nearly made him fall out of his seat in laughter, and upon showing it to the rest of his companions around him, the inside of the Tomkah turned into an uproar of mirth. It seemed as if the commercial they had witnessed before had actually had some success and the foundation has donated a tidy sum of credits for infrastructure development. Well well well, looks like people care after all, nearly brings a tear to my eyes haha, he thought, quickly typing up a message to the foundation thanking them for their generosity and good work, but reminded them again not to make them look like a bunch of weakling's next time they did anything.

The Tomkah had begun to set off by now and Dak'ir moved to the next issue on his agenda, upgrading his troops with better equipment. He and several others had been planning this for a while now and the chief procurement officer in charge of it had just forwarded him the final plans for what equipment or training each division would get. Dak'ir quickly browsed through the list, and upon changing a few minor details, sent it back with his approval.

After going through a few more minor reports, Dak'ir leaned back in his seat to rest a little before they got back to the capital and he would have to do something mildly important that would keep him up all night.

Dock Four-Seven Besh,
Omega

Padok Wiks had just completed his part of the initial securing of the hangar for the arrival of Recon Team Five and the Phantom. He stood up to go check on the other's progress when "Crap! Wiks, I have a problem!" shouted one of the SpecOps members. "I masked our presence from security like you said, but I was a half-second off, and it sent a notification. We should expect enemy forces arriving soon. Shall we take ambush positions?"
Wiks thought about this for a moment, weighing the consequences between staying completely quiet and possibly being discovered, or fighting it out, and losing everything. "Leftenant, did you happen to bring the jammers with you?" asked Padok Wiks. "Of course sir, never leave home without them." replied one of the other SpecOps teams. "Alright.." Wiks pulled up a map of the local area on his Omni. "Put one here, another over there, and there. We need to completely jam radio communications. Leave the wireless network frequencies alone, we jam those, and it'll send a notice to the Gambler, and we'll have even more trouble. Are the hangar doors prepped?
"Yes sir, they're all set, and ready to op--" just as the SpecOps officer was about to finish, Wiks got a call from the Phantom. "This is Aex calling Wiks. We've arrived, and need you to open the doors."
"You heard him Captain," replied WIks. "Open the doors."
At that call, the newest ship in the Salarian fleet, the SUV Phantom, a top-of-the-line stealth frigate, entered the hangar, landed, and Recon Team Five, comprised of two SpecOps teams, Adina and Jule, two Asari Commandos, the Turian Blackwatch, and Rarhorn Aex disembarked, before the Phantom took off, en route back to Sur'Kesh.

"Good to see you again, Wiks." stated Aex.
"Good to see you soon." replied Wiks. "Bad news, apparently we got the attention of the locals when one of my men was off in his security sync. We're preparing for trouble now with jammers to block radio contact, and I just had an idea about some other presents we could leave. Hack a terminal here and rig it to blow, and all that. We know that in order to check out the hangar, they have to go through the doors, so why not leave something there, as well."
"Alright, I'll get up topside with the Blackwatch, we can snipe at them from the other side of the hangar, on the catwalks, Adina and Jule, stay close to the entrance, after we take two volleys, I want you to flank them with your biotics. My two SpecOps will hit them with whatever Ewar we have available in addition to your jammers, maybe jam their weapons, overload something important, et cetera." stated Aex.
"Sounds like a plan," confirmed Wiks. "My teams will take a forward position behind cover, after Adina and Jule flank them, pull back, and the Blackwatch, Aex and my teams will finish them with some good ol' weapons fire."
"Alright, let's set this up."

With the plan in position, all forces prepared for the ambush, rigging terminals along the way with a motion sensor to explode when the enemies would walk by, a hack on the hangar door computer to prevent them from venting it, Aex and the Blackwatch on the catwalks, ready to snipe at whomever came through that door, Adina and Jule on the side to flank them with Biotics, Aex's two SpecOps teams on full Ewar support, and Wiks and his five teams prepared a firing line by moving crates around to form a cover, but still maintain an image of the hangar bay being used for no more than dusty old cargo. All that was left to be done, was to wait.

Classified Location,
Tuchanka

The Recon Team placed at Tuchanka was running a routine surveillance operation, when Filzik, the commander, looked shocked when he pulled back from his scope, in extreme disbelief.
"Ahh... Aezom, take a look at this." Aezom took a quick look through the scope, and shared the same look of disbelief FIlzik did. "Is... is that a Krogan *trying* to be stealthy, sir?"
Filzik just looked at Aezom, spoke into the radio, and told all teams with line of sight to the spectacle going on at the following coordinates. What came next was several minutes of laughter, as a Krogan would try to enter a building covertly, one of the "guards" would locate the intruder, and they'd get into a fistfight, before going at it again, with the same result.
"Haha, oh, oh boy, this is too good, simply too good!"
"They seriously think they can do that? Hahahaha!"
"I tried keeping a straight face, but... hahahah!"
"Heh, alright men, cut the chatter, get back to work..." FIlzik said across the radio, and the teams complied immediately, going back to surveilling the goings-on in Tuchanka. "Remember, though, if the Krogan ever do manage to pull it off, we need to be more alert, can't have them sneaking up on us."
"Yes sir."
"Confirmed."
"Wilco."
It was good being in the STG..

Dock Four-Seven Besh

The Synthetics had came there in secret and started to do a scan. " Strange, the doors of being cut off from the severs. This is an intrusion pattern unlike the normal gangs or smuggler of Omega." Ironsights said as he scanned the area of the hangar and Argyle tried to touched," yeah, the entire hangar is cut off. There's more to this and more than just a few idiots with a pet hacker." His brother grabbed his metallic hand," don't touch it! Expect the worse from happening and I don't want you to die and be rebuilt." He snached his hand from Ironsights while the voice of the Gambler came through their heads.

" Now boys you can fight on your own time. Right now, we have a problem. The wireless network was being looped I believed and I have gained control over some of it. However the cameras show nothing. I don't like this. There some access ports to the hangars on your right and left. Only fit for one of each mind you." They both shrugged as they started to open the remote access pass," hey Ironsights, don't you just loves the tunnels of Omega?" Ironsights just gave a groan to him through the comms until they reached the hangar and saw the spec-ops.

" Well that sure as hell isn't "nothing". Dad, are you seeing this?" The Gambler was scanning through the eyes of Argyle," yep, defiantly not cleared, I see. Spec-Ops and a Salarian frigate. Must be a stealth frigate. Now I wander how many Council spies are just in Omega?" Ironsight spoke," so that means were at war?" Argyle nodded," yep, get to test this body of mine against actual Council military."
" Hold it Argyle." Proclaimed Ironsights," we are dealing with spec-ops and Asari Commandos. Be Careful."

Argyle was scanning their surroundings," alright, there's a hacked terminal. Let me reset that so it doesn't explode on us. Dad, do you have any goals for this mission?" The Gambler just gave a chuckled," take the ship, kill whoever, but capture anyone alive." Argyle slipped out on the side of the Blackwatch Sniper on the catwalk and he lifted his sleeve on his hoodie that he was wearing to out morphed his arm into a monomolceure blade," you have my back Ironsights, about to "cut the Turkey" if you know what I'm saying" Ignoring what his brother said, he slipped out of the vent and armed his sniper rifle at the head of the Salarian," Yeah, I'll open the hangar doors for the Sentience on three. two. one"

Both of them came out of their active camo and took down their targets on the catwalks and Ironsights opened the hangar doors with the terminal trap disarmed and the Senitence Division through flashbangs over the crate cover as the Brothers slipped back into camo as they try to route the flanks of the Biotic Commandos.

The Chairman's Palace,Kosh
Patriarch Giabus Veythises and Adolpho Ciabatta walked into the lobby of the palace and upon seeing each other they each pulled out a pistol and pointed it at each other. Gaibus was the first to speak, What are you doing here human, Come to kill me the same way you Ciabatta Bastards murdered my son"! Adolpho chuckled and said," I have the same question for you giabus, And besides your son should of known not to wander into our district and try to steal one of our merchants, heh even if you turians know how to talk economics! I do not even now how you became a patrician when there perfectly applicable Human investors that at least do not need voulus employees to keep themselves afloat"! Before the turian could shoot Adolpho Luigi walked in and said," Gentlemen i need to talk to you,Now". The three then walked into his office and shut the door behind them so no could hear them. Luigi opened up the meeting by saying," I only have one thing to say to you two, End this feud right now you are ruining the business potential of not only your own districts but the planet as a whole with beating and murdering each other in the streets. Do you know how bad it is for potential trade partners to see your heir Adolpho Murder and i mean beat and shoot a turian in the streets infront of 50 merchants twenty of whom where foreigners who will most likely not only never sell goods to us again but tell other merchants about the street fights your family cause on a weekly schedule ". Giabus stood up and said," I would be glad to end it but the issue is the Ciabattas constant attacks on us and the murder of my son". Adolpho laughed and said," Our attacks, You should see what they do to us. You know turians they believe in total warfare and that shows they bring most of their thugs to attack our district and we barley survive each assault". Luigi sighed and said," Alright here is what is going to go down, your two familes are going to make peace,Adolpho we will arrest your son and charge him with murder,Giabus you will cease all assaults on the ciabatta district and if i learn that this feud is continuing i will have no choice but to step in do you understand this". The heads of the familys nodded and shook each others hand uneasily with thoughts of murder in their heads then they walked out of the palace taking different routes to their respective districts. Luigi sighed and called in his Military recruiter and said to him," I need two new units of infantry i have a feeling this peace is not going to end well".

Dock Four-Seven Besh,
Omega

Suddenly, a little black cylinder enters the room as soon as the main door opens, and it rolls right into the bulk of the SpecOps teams, where it detonated shortly after coming to a stop. It was a flashbang, the noise and light emitted from it disoriented most of the SpecOps on the ground. Right at that same moment, the Blackwatch rifles freeze up, rendering them nonoperational, right as a man seemingly steps out of the shadows, with what looks like a blade for an arm.
"Contact, contact!" yells Rarhorn Aex.
He promptly begins to start swiping at the Blackwatch members, cutting deep into the armour, but thankfully, not completely piercing it.. in most cases. Several of the Blackwatch began attempting to fight him off, while the others worked on resetting their rifles. Shortly thereafter the Salarian troops on the ground regain their composure, getting back into cover, despite several of their team members had fallen during this time. They begin firing at the men who've come through the door, firing upon the Salarians. Bullets ring out across the chamber as both sides trade rounds. Seconds later, the man with the blade leaps from the catwalk, lands gracefully in a combat roll upon the hangar floor, and charges at Jule, catching her by surprise as she was engaging others, and uppercuts with his blade, severing her right arm, causing her to roar in pain and tumble to the ground. "Jule!!" yells Adina, before running towards her sister-in-arms. The man picks up her arm, before calling a retreat to his men. They move towards several Salarian corpses, and rip out their omnitools as their teammates cover them from the freshly unjammed Blackwatch rifles above, and the Salarian forces below. They take several more casualties, but remain largely unharmed. Just as the last of their men begins to leave, a single rifle pops out from the corner, and takes a single shot. A cry of pain is heard across the hangar, as that rifle disappears as quickly as it appeared, and the hangar doors closed.
"Check the wounded!" calls Padok Wiks. After counting, it appears one team from Recon Team Two, and one from Recon Team Five were wiped out, 8 Blackwatch were wounded, Jule lost her right arm, and upon investigating the shout of pain, it appears Aex had taken a round to the head. It had managed to pierce his shield, but that caused the round to fluctuate, and it hit one of Aex's head antennae, sparing his life, but it needed to be removed. A full two teams of the enemy had been wiped out, not surprising, considering the effectiveness of their ambush despite the Council force's greater numbers.
"Alright everyone, we need to evacuate quickly. They know where we are, so they could come in force at any time. We need to get back to our safehouse. Carry the wounded, and the dead if you can." The teams did so, recovering whom they could, leaving the hostile force's bodies there, and retreated to the safehouse. Three of the Blackwatch died on route, along with several Salarian wounded. Jule had been successfully stabilized, and once the force had returned to the safehouse, they began to care for the remaining wounded.

OOC:
Casualty list -
Salarian Forces:
2 SpecOps teams
Jule - lost right arm
Blackwatch - 3 dead, 5 wounded

Hostile Forces:
2 SpecOps teams

At the beginning even he had to admit that the empire was stalling, dragging itself forward on stunted legs. Now, however, they were on the cusp of gaining a thriving industrial base as to provide ninety-nine out of a hundred batarians a steady job. The rest would be drafted in to the military, a military which would come to rival even that of the Citadel defense fleet. If such a thing occurred, then batarian mastery of the galaxy would become evident.

Omega

The attack was good and it shell-shocked the Council operatives and Argyle just became the first Synthetic to survive and injure an Asari Commando. This alone will raise the fear and respect of the Gambler's early rule in Omega. Ironsights was quickly modify and hacking the Omni-tools to send the coordinates to the Gambler." Looks like at the lost of 2 squads of spec-ops had finally led to their safehouse. Good job boys! Looks like we could put those Council spec-ops in their place. I am sending the Platnium Army to those locations now, I want you guys to copy those Council signals and find the main hub to their information network. I bet their are more of these safehouses around the station while Aria was Queen but this isn't going to happen again.

Is time for us to open the Salarian can of worms. I want you two get on the scene and chase them down." The Brothers were nodding at the idea and to see if they can break into the Salarian spy network in Omega and get rid of the problem that has been here on the station ever since Aria was in power, and she was in for centuries.

Safehouse

The mercs instead of the Platinum army came and they surrounded the house. Some warning fires were shot at them but the safehouse was surrounded for the most part. Just then, the Gambler's hologram was put on screen to the safehouse as he was sitting on a couch. He blocked the Omni-tool signal of the Council spec-ops with his own jammers that he learned from hacking their technology.

" Operative Wiks, I will like to have a talk with the Dalatress and the Council. My men will not shoot. I want to make a deal."

He takes a smoke out of his cigarette," Hmm, I think not. Your good Wiks, I know the legend of the operatives pretty well. How about I'll do it myself. Already have your communication signals matched and your safehouse. I'll just talk to her myself. Just sit tight." He then starts messing with the controls of the communications and the hologram got up and got a swig of whisky to show the Dalatress.

" Hello Dalatress. I think you know who I am so we can just skip the formalities. What I'm here calling you today is that I have caught Council red-handed with them starting a shadow war in my neighborhood in an attempt to kill me and installing a Council-backed one. I think you know what I'm talking about. Well, I don't really like that but I really want to keep my crown. So I want to make a deal with you and we can sweep this under the rug.

I'll let the Council have a few docks and hangars to operate from and let these guys go. In exchange, no one guns for my crown and get to count my credits in peace. You get to have sweep this under the rug and I get to survive another day. What do you say?"

STGHQ,
Sur'Kesh

This is bad, thought the Dalatrass. Should've sent more forces in with the Phantom... "Well, naturally this will take some time to coordinate with the Council. I'd be willing to pass it along. In the meantime, might I be able to converse with one of my operatives? I imagine that if you're contacting on their behalf, they must be somewhere nearby, and not in... the top condition."

STGHQ,
Sur'Kesh

"... Fine.. Gubame, get me the Council, and patch them in."

Salarian Embassy,
The Citadel

Councillor Valern was sitting in his office when he got a priority ping from the Dalatrass. He rose to the communicator, and connected with the call. "Dalatrass, how may I be of-- Ah. That explains it. I'll contact the rest of the Councillors."

Valern left the image of the camera, and typed two short, quick messages, one to the Asari Councillor, and one to the Turian Councillor, with an emergency flag.

"It should just be a few moments."

STGHQ,
Sur'Kesh

Off-screen, High Commander Gubame began typing a set of orders to the Phantom, with the highest priority.
Code: Select all
Phantom, immediate orders. Pick up the SpecOps teams assigned to the Pranas patrol fleet. Travel to The Citadel, rendevouz with SpecOps operative Mordin Solus. He has contact with a Lieutenant Siria Victus. She may be willing to assist once she learns of the status of the Blackwatch we sent to Omega as reinforcements. Proceed to Omega after securing the assistance of Siria Victus.

The Phantom received the ping, and within 5 minutes had lifted off, en route to the Citadel to make contact.

Salarian STG Office,
The Citadel

Mordin was sitting at his desk, reviewing some recent experiments conducted in Salarian space when he get an emergency ping from the STGHQ. It makes an audible ding, causing Mordin to startle and fall out of his chair, spilling the human coffee he had been drinking. He shakes himself off, dusts his clothes, reads the message, and takes off running towards the communication device housed at the Office.

"This is the Citadel Call Centre, please state your intended recipient." Avina, the Citadel VI, asked.
"STG Officer Mordin Solus, authorization Alpha-Victor-Romeo-Seven-Two-Niner, requesting immediate contact with Lieutenant Siria Victus, of the Turian military."
"Connecting you now. Thank you for using Avina. You are now connected. Please converse after the tone." Avina then produced an audible beep.
"Lieutenant Victus, good to see you. No time for small talk. Emergency situation. Details as follows. Requesting your assistance in this matter. Need an answer shortly, SUV Phantom arriving in... soon."
Mordin then transmitted the details he had received from Gubame to Siria Victus. "Blackwatch with STG on Omega. Not likely in good condition. Turians known for never backing down."

Captain Victus
Turian Dreadnought
Over Citadel

Walking the halls of the ship was calming on her off time, she was dressed in her work out attire, a black top and navy blue trousers. She walked looking out thee port holes smiling as the stars smiled back at her. It was this calm in space that always made her happy, yet the marine in her told her to be ready for one of those stars to actually be an incoming attack pod about to assault the ship. She of-course was just being silly. But that didnt stop her from still wondering, how out there today is planning to kill my men? Suddenly the ship VI flashed on a nearby terminal, Captain, you have an incoming call. Waving away the VIU she hit the accept button, and was blind sided why she was about to speak by a familiar flurry of words, It was Mordin of the STG. Victus looked confused for a second as the salarian explained the situation. She thought to herself, 'Shit, break time is over.' then replied aloud "Yes sir, I will have a platoon ready for pick up right away, sir." Turning she left the Screen and began to jog down the passageway to 9th company's bay. Turning the corner a corporal turned off his bed and was onto his feet shouting "Officer on deck!" "Quickly returning the standard, "At ease." she continued down the bay and turned to one of her lieutenants, Lieutenant Maxis of 9th company 3rd platoon.

"Lieutenant, I want your men wheels up, and I need your men battle ready and and ready to ship out in 4 minutes no excuses lieutenant. This is not a drill."

The lieutenant gave the universal regroup signal with a whirl of two fingers and shouted "LETS MOVE MEN, 4 MINUETS TO QRF!"

Turning away the captain began to send files to the fleet admiral for approval of the mission. Not even two minutes latter she was given the green light. By this time 3rd Platoon had there gear together and weapons ready to rock. She then signaled to the company to move to the cargo bay of the dreadnought and be ready for pick up.

Omega

The Gambler had started to wait but then he realized something was wrong. He stood up from his holographic couch and said," never trust a damn Salarian. Well Wiks, looks like we both get what we want. However, it seems that I was able to prove two things today. The number one still applies here on Omega, and the Council doesn't like to keep their word to people like me. Get your men to Dock Four-Seven Besh and wait for whatever transport to take your guys. However your network and equipment are mine. Call it my trophies that I was able to surprise the unsurprising."

The Gambler shifts his hologram to the mercs," everyone! Stand down and let them go. I already broken the fears of these spec-ops and now that will be put to the test. However, we already survived today. Omega is still free and we don't need them right now. Stand down and go home unless you want to see the Turian Deathsquads come in and start making this place even more chaotic than it already is." The mercs than retreated and he shifted back to Wiks," my army stands down, your free to leave. I already expect that reinforcements are coming. In the mean time, the signal will be down once your out of the safehouse and at the docks. In the mean time, I have a meeting with the Council."

EVCNR
Eden Vally Colonial News Report

WAR

Civil war as erupted on Eden Valley with court and republican forces clashing in several locations on the border of both colonies. The Colonial Navy has remained out of the fighting and continues to patrol along with the Asari peacekeeping fleet which has no impact on the desired effect it was wanted for. I'm fact in did nothing more then strengthen the Elcor cause to fight against Asari expansionist. The colonies's respected leaders have been flown to each of their provincial capitals as their national guards skirmish along the border. Thankfully the relitive size of both armies is minimal in galactic standards and which he expect that the fighting will happen in a few areas along the border.

In the planets capital a new governor has taken the vacant seats,Matriarch Al'niah,. She vows to use the colonials wealth to erect a new army of Unitarians to finally unite the colony under govern-ship,either willing or by force.

Citadel Docks,
The Citadel

The SUV Phantom swooped in to one of the docks reserved for military use on the Citadel, landed, and awaited for the arrival of Mordin, Siria Victus, and the Hastatim platoon.
Once all had arrived on boarded, which took roughly 5 minutes, the Phantom took off just as fast as it had come, and role the Relays towards Omega.

Operation Sunset Safehouse,
Omega

Interesting, Padok Wiks thought. Something terrifying must be coming for him to turn up and leave when he has us dead to rights.. Better make use of the situation. "Alright men, he says he wants this equipment. Let's prepare it for him." One of the Blackwatch pipes up "Sir! You can't do that, that's classified information and technology!" Padok Wiks then activates one of the jammers still remaining, puts his finger to his lips, shushing the Blackwatch member, walks over to one of the boxes of equipment, and pulls out several incendiary charges, and a number of explosive charges, showing them to the Blackwatch officer, which gets an expression of recognition, with a slight smirk. After several minutes, all the charges are rigged, Wiks wired them all together to a mechanical timer he rigged out of some gears, a battery, some wiring, and some scrap metal laying around. "How much time do you think we'll need to gather everyone together?" One of the STG officers responded with "Eh... most of us are ready to go, say... 2 minutes?" "Very well. Get everyone going, I'll catch up."
The healthy begin to carry the wounded, and some lighter equipment, such as spare ammo, medical supplies, and extra munitions, and once they begin to go on their way, Wiks waits a few minutes, then sets the timer for 30 seconds, and begins to run after his men. Just as he catches up to them, he hears a light boom in the distance (just enough explosives to destroy the equipment in the warehouse, not the warehouse itself) and they continue on towards the hangar.

Dock Four-Seven-Besh,
Omega

The Phantom quickly, and of course, stealthily, dropped into the Dock, where it landed, dropped the doors, and both the Hastatim platoon and the STG teams quickly moved to secure the perimeter. To their surprise, however, standing among the bodies, were their teams. The Blackwatch, Adina and Jule, Aex and Wiks, and the surviving Salarian STG were all gathered there, waiting for them to arrive. Mordin was the first to speak. "Wiks, Aex? How are you here? We believed you were captured."
"It's an... interesting story, Mordin." said Wiks. "Let's just get on board, and leave this station, we can talk more once we get back to the Citadel. I imagine everyone will want to debrief us all."
With that, everyone gathered back on board, taking the remaining dead in the hangar with them, and scanning the perimeter to ensure no hostiles were about, before the Phantom sealed it's doors, and lifted off, leaving Omega in the background.
