Her twin brother also attended Oxford and investigation suggests that at some point while there he was contacted by an ONI Recruitment Officer, likely a professor. Further investigation was halted by ONI Directive December White and all records of the investigation redacted. After graduation, Elizabeth and Arty both joined the UNSC.
Put through rigorous training, Elizabeth outshone her classmates as a dedicated and ideal leader. After Basic Training, Elizabeth was sent to UNSCAF. Her Psyche Evaluator during her time at flight school, Dr. Anderson, noted that "[Elizabeth] took an interest in MedEvacs,, even picking up a few lessons from the EMTs in first aid application. During our sessions, I noticed how she deflected away from my question of why she liked them. In my professional opinion, I believe she may be doing this as an attempt to seek forgiveness for some grievance of hers, most likely the death of Cadet Riley." Though she initially started as a MedEvac pilot, she switched around flying many different types of aerial vehicles. After two years of serving in the UNSCAF, Elizabeth was transferred to the UNSC Med Corp. Having distinguished herself several times over, it came as no small surprise when she was reassigned to the more arduous task of field medic with the ODST branch of the Marines. During investigations into Elizabeth Sylvari's military background, it was revealed that she was the only survivor of Delta Squad from Operation GrabBag, which had been headed by Artanis Sylvari. Audio and visual logs corroborate that the mission was a success, however, only at the cost of the entire squad. Mission logs from the ship show that on several occasions, Elizabeth and her brother, Artanis, worked alongside each other for some operations ranging from intelligence gathering to search-and-rescue. Elizabeth has since shown herself with distinction and honorable service as a very capable field medic and, at times, surgeon.

Notable Skills: Due to her extensive flight training, Sergeant Elizabeth is an experienced pilot capable of flying a wide range of aerial craft. Elizabeth has also shown a natural talent for martial arts and proficiency in small firearms. Her skill in field medicine and surgery is highly regarded and proven to be very effective. His training was cut short due to the fighting on the planet of Arcadia in 2531 at rank of Warrant officer he was injured by a covenant elite kicking him in the face as the energy sword skimmed his left eye then he was stabbed in his thigh then as the combat feed showed he shoved an active grenade in the elites mouth and jumper away as the elites head was blown off. He spent 2 months in a med bay before being confronted by ONI offering him a chance

Notable Skills: Prolonged isolation is of no issue due to the Lieutenant’s several dozen lone operations. Artanis has shown a proficiency in small firearms and hand-to-hand combat. Tests indicate that Artanis is also resistant to most torture methods, no doubt a side effect of his ONI training. Has been noted by peers as being “incredibly fast on his feet” as well as quite agile himself.
