Articles

I. The G5 will bring aid to the affected civilians in Sperland and will help in the rebuilding efforts of the capital of Shellvain.

II. The G5 nations will retire all military forces from Sperland and her territories after the signing of this Treaty of Berlin.

III.The city of Paris will host a new world organisation called the Council of Nations, used to prevent any future conflicts between the Pan-Celtic Alliance and the Grand 5.

IV. Sperland and Antarteca accept equal responsibility for the conflict.

V. Antarteca must release a public apology for the murder of the Sperlish leader.

VI. By signing this Treaty of Berlin, the signatory represents and agrees for their nation to all of the Articles, and have a limit of six (6) years to comply with the terms of the Articles.

The Elector-Primo had arrived, his Air Force went to park and his large security moved forward to the building where the signing was taking place. When he arrived he spoke to some of his Secretaries, Lawyers, Congressmen, and Executive Advisors. He asked that Sperland be half blamed for beginning a war or else the Elector-Primo would not bring this treaty to the Senate.

The news was broadcasted all over Sperlish television. The antarctecan flag was burned down after being raised in Shellvain. The people protested for war to continue. The government had no choice.

United Kingdom of Cymrea

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence, and with the approval of the Her Majesty Queen Rhiannon and the Circle of Archons, hereby issues a statement ending the commitment of martial resources in the defence of the Holy Empire of Sperland.

The Treaty of Berlin had been signed by all but Sperland and Soviet Britannia and included ratification by the primary belligerents Antarcteca and New Wondour. Additionally, the treaty was signed by the two primary defenders of Sperland, the efforts of whom had secured a satisfactory resolution to the conflict. Further actions felt necessary by Sperland could have been prosecuted covertly, rather than on the world stage with the lives of civilians in the balance. However, with the stated unilateral rejection of the Treaty by Labhrás Dalavarsho of Sperland, the entire summit has been for naught.

The United Kingdom of Cymrea actively defends her allies. She does not unduly extend hostilities in the face of peace without justification. The thin and dubious excuses offered by Dalavarsho for continuation of the conflict do not constitute justification, but instead reveal a bloodthirst and drive for vengeance.

Cymrea will continue to aid the civilians of Sperland, but will no longer support Sperland militarily; this decision will remain Cymrean policy until such time as Sperland signs and ratifies the Treaty of Berlin and adheres to its mandates. Cymrea enacts this policy with regret; it was truly believed that Sperland was the aggrieved party in this conflict. While they very well may have been initially, that is no longer the case.

He cries, "Look Daddy! Soldiers!"

The boy's father awakens. As soon as he sees the helicopters, he runs quickly into another room.

"Where are you going daddy?"

Shortly after, several faint silenced gunshots were heard by the boy. His mother ran into his room, holding his sister while crying.

"Mommy, where's daddy? Mommy?"

Danyassiyskian forces have set up an HQ and moved more special forces into the country. There is an estimated 500 elite soldiers hidden in the country. They have set up bases in several unoccupied strategic points along the country side. There have not been any more casualties, keeping the soldier's presence a secret.
