If you side with the dock worker you have a 30% chance that he is lying and this will be chosen by next months rolls, also if you chose the salarian the black watch officer will be placed under arrest for assault. This may be seen bad by the hierarchy. IF you chose the black watch officer, that gives you +1 month on production time, this is due to other dock workers being nervous of the turian presence looking over there shoulder during production.

Clan Krerdok||Prisidom Columns,Citadel||Random Bar

A loud growl escaped the Warlord, jolting up with the anger of ten thousand suns."Hey that's pretty funny"he said while he grabbed his hammer and activated it."Ok my turn, what happens when I take this hammer and shoved it up your pretty silver ass"he snorted and with almost no effort he bashed the loud mouth Turian across the bar into the wall. He let the feeling of dread and tension fill the room before slowly turning to the rest of the Silver Heads."I take your broken friend and leave, unless you want a brawl!"he snorted and flexed his head up to signal all his spec ops to get up. The elite Krogan warriors stepped out of every corner and shadow of the bar."But I would hate to destroy such a nice bar with good drink"he said and looked at the cowering Salarian.

It has become common knowledge that a small number of enemies of the Hegemony have overcome their guards and broken free from their holdings. This is a sad day for the whole Hegemony as its generosity and kindness towards those who would harm its people have been thrown back in our faces. However, do not fear, loyal audience. Even as I speak to you, Hegemony forces are being deployed to humanely resolve the problem.

--------

"Send in the High Overseer's replacement," Gherish hissed in to the communicator. "Major Fenin from the 8th Marines."

His secretary jumped at the order, seeming initially distracted before she remembered who was speaking to her. Leaving the woman to her duty and the guards to disposing of the body, the Supreme Overlord jabbed a finger towards the frame of General Pern. The only female member of the ruling council gave him a strange look.

"Take all of your marines and deal with this problem. Now!" he snapped as the woman seemed to be happy to remain seated. "Extreme prejudice. I wish for them all to be eliminated."

--------

They deployed under the cover of a fighter screen, heavy weapons pummeling the enemy positions without retaliation. It was a classic hammer and anvil strike, the two-hundred thousand strong army fixing the slaves in place while the marines and airforce struck them from behind. Clad in some of the best armour and wielding specialised weaponry, the half-million strong batarian host deployed did not face any sort of resistance which could have held them back. Supported by "volunteers" from the nearby cities, the Hegemony proved themselves to be the masters, wiping out thousands of slaves in a systematic "battle" which lasted the best part of eight days.

The Dalatrass takes a seat at the conference room in her Office, and listens to a report from one of her subordinates.
"Wonderful, a scuffle in the Phantom hangar... This is the last thing we need. Support the worker, but make it known that if he is lying, there will be consequences. Extreme. Consequences. The Phantom is too important a project to allow something like this to both occur, and get in the way of it's construction. That's enough of this, now, onto construction for this month..."

Tuchanka: Urdnot Capital

Urdnot Dak'ir was looking through reports on a data-pad when a message came in from a group of private investors interested in giving Clan Urdnot money in order to build ships to help transport goods. Well would you look at that, somebodies actually interested in helping the Krogan for once, I'll have to write this down on my calendar or something, Dak'ir thought with a smile. He composed a message back to the investors thanking them for their generous contribution and accepted the money transfer without delay.

With that done he composed another message ordering for the construction of the transport ships to begin, for now they would have to make do with other means of getting to Durak in order to begin mining operation there again. They would need the transports to move troops there though, the other ships wouldn't be able to carry any large amounts of infantry.

Turning to an aid on his right side, Dak'ir said, "give the orders for construction teams to use any shuttles they can scrounge up to get to Durak and begin construction and salvage operations there, and tell them not to buzz the Citadel forces in orbit, there's enough shit to worry about here then having to watch out for falling bits of Krogan from the atmosphere."

The aid nodded his head, and walked off to organize the effort.

Olympus Station

Zeus read over the Citadel report again to ensure that he missed nothing. From what the agents said, everything was going according to plan. Kyoto was captured by C-sec, and the Reaper tech was in the hands of the Turian Hierarchy. Once the tech was authenticated and Kyoto explained the situation, he should have no trouble convincing the Counselor of going through with the deal.

Zeus' concentration was shattered when an agent entered his office. The agent raised his fist in a quick salute and urgently delivered his !message. "Sir, you remember those Cerberus detefectors we picked up last week? Well they told us some pretty good stuff. First was the PINs to a handful of bank accounts, but the best just came out today. Apparently Cerberus found Shepard's body and they're trying to rebuild him, they have the technology." Zeus nodded and dismissed the agent, who saluted and exited the office. "This is good news. If Cerberus could resurrect Shepard then the galaxy would have another good man walking around again."

Citadel

Kyoto chuckled at the Councillor's remark. "Did you stop to think that maybe I wanted to be captured? You may have me stuck in here with you, but you're stuck in here with me. Once that Geth tech gets authenticated you may be swayed by my gesture of goodwill. Perhaps if I told you why we need that info you would help. I belong to an Intelligence organization, we specialize in espionage. We are not part of the alliance, and we would appreciate it if you would keep them in the dark about this. We need access to that databases so that we can find escaped criminals and bring them to justice. I know you have no reason to trust me, but I am telling you the truth."

Colonial Eden Valley News Report
CEVNR

Tensions along the provincial borders of the Elcor Courts and Asari Republic have slowly started to decline but this is no time to be thinking the colony is out of the darkness. The Grand Elder of the Courts,Elder Galsumm and Commodore Labin Douderi of the Asari have just concluded their meeting and have announced the launch of Eden University,a space station dedicated to education of Eden Valley's finest minds. They also told the reports that a bill has been passed to increase ground military spending for both sides and once the Elcor launch their space station,Do'fumnim Station, named after a Elcor philosopher, the entire colony's economy will likely go into the defense department and Exploration flotillas in order to find more worlds in this new system.

The 20 new issued Infantry divisions are to be expect to assume active duty in 2 months time. This will be the first divisions in which under law can't be taken away by either the Asari or Elcor homeworlds. There also rumors speculating that their also might be the start of a new co joined special operation group between the Elcor and Asari on the colony. Though no proof of this has been found, the possibility is more than possible. We will have more on these stories later this week so stay tuned!

As the NCO fell the room was otherwise quiet besides the loud rhythmic beat of the bass in the speakers. All the dancers began to leave, the bartender ducked away and the marine all stood. one marine near one of the far krogan in a corner tacked the beast and began to hammer savagely on his face two other joined in the beating on that one. Six more marines soot and ran at the krogan with the hammer while two others helped up the loud mouthed sergeant and escorted him out of the bar. Siria stood gripping her still holder heavy pistol. Six marines stood near her and successfully assisted in separating two krogan from a group of marines. Two humans in the bar began to assist in trying to break up some of the fighting.

As the feed connected to the vorcha Ari began,
"Hello, You do not know me and you never will, all you need to know if the pay is good. I am offering Substantial payment for the lives of several , as you would call them, 'Pot Belly's'You are expected to carry this job out in little time. All of the top Pot Belly's are to be taken care of, after this you are to leave lest you wish those pesky turian defense forces to kill you and all of your people.
The following names are the people that you must take care of.
Barla Von

Kaknar Tar
Botnar Hun
Dileed Cur
All targets will be at there respective addresses in the market and banking districts, you are to also destroy a hand full of the local infrastructure so that this dose not look like a Hit. Setting looking out onto the lake, legs crossed and leaned back, the primarch was comfortable. This was a nice park bench, a silly though ran through his head as he though "I have money, I should just take it." Nyree smiled at the thought. It amused him to be free on occasion to think of what he wanted and not be burdened with the manner off things that would comprise his job. But it was his duty and responsibility, and he would not shrug off duties. But from time to time he was permitted time off. He was in the process of taking his 2 day vacation that that was well due to hm after 2 and a half years of all work and no play. It was good to unwind. Nyree stood and straightened his dulled lime green vest and his purple slacks. He would leave the comfort of the sweet sweet park bench and seek shelter in the nearest bar. Requesting nearby locations he noticed the closer bar witch was also more popular to turians and turian marines especially, had been shut down due to a bar fight. This did not surprise him. Maybe he would stop in latter and see how things went? The galactic day was still young after all. Instead of taking public transport Nyree chose to walk through the lush gardens and people watch, a hanar yelling about the Enkindilers. A cross species relationship between a krogan and an asari and of course some human kids in a small group yelled profane things at a keeper. This place was a melting pot of divers flavors, Nyree did not like anything about it. However; it was by far one of the most interesting things he had seen.
Before arriving at his destination near an hour latter Nyree had picked up some noodles from a turian street vender, thankfully the man did not recognize him. Nyree was very against using power for anything except duty, even if it was just for a bowl of noodles. Walking into the Bar,Nyree makes his way to the bar and orders two bottles of brandy. Dark Star was an exciting bar great for that fast paced beat and having some drinks, located on the 28th level of the Zakera Wards on the Citadel it wasn't far from other action. Many shops around to drunk shop at while you soak in a drunk stupor.

Music to set the mood for Nyree.

Thessia, Matriarch Seri's Office

She is running over the information on this pad as quick as her eyes can read. "With this... I must send this information off to the Scientists on Tessia as quickly as possible." She calls in an aide, one of her commandos, and sends her off with the pad, not trusting to send it electronically. "Now then... all I have to do is wait." She smiles contentedly. "Surely we Asari received our long lives in order to execute plans that require waiting. " She closes her eyes and hums her old Battalions marching tune, the smell of alcohol and voices of friends long dead chattering and laughing. filling her nose and ears. A knock brings her out of her memories. "Come in!" She says standing up and a young Asari walks in. "Ah Liara!" She says smiling. "It has been far too long!"

"Auntie Seri." They give each other a hug. "I see you have gotten a different uniform."

"Ah yes my dear. I rather like the styles that humans have from their history." She approaches the bar in her office. "Drink?"

"Ah yes thank you." Liara looks around her office. "I see you have gotten a few more trophies since I last came here."

"Things can change in 30 years." She tells her handing her a drink and sitting down at her desk. "Besides did you honestly think you and the humans you were with were the only one who was out fighting the Geth?" She says smiling at her. "I may be getting old but I can still fight."

"But you are commander in chief of the Asari military." Liara says in a slightly chastising tone.

"And I would be a poor example to the troops if I didn't serve on the front lines." She counters. "I am a soldier thus my home is on the battlefield. Besides, I had a few months of vacation time I needed to use so why not?"

Liara laughs. "You still haven't changed. That is a relief."

Seri smiles. "Indeed. And you seem to have grown mature since I last saw you." Her smile turns sad. "I'm sure your mother would be proud."

"I... I'm sure she would be."

"I was so shocked to find out she was helping the Geth. She was a part of my old Battalion. To be a traitor like this... it rocked me to my very core."

"It wasn't her fault. She was indoctrinated."

"Indoctrinated?"

Liara pauses trying to figure out how to put this. "Indoctrination is basically mind control."

Seri looks at her incredulously. "Maybe its because you haven't seen her in 50 years but are you sure we're both talking about your mother? That woman was strong willed when she wanted to be."

"I'm sure. This indoctrination can only be resisted by a select few and only for brief moments. Most of the time they do not even realize they are a puppet." Liara explains a few more details about what happened on Noveria and other worlds and that is enough to convince Seri of the reality of things.

Seri buries her face in her hands. "Spirits..." She mutters. "To think I had hated you for joining up with Saren and the Geth... I am so so sorry Benezia." She takes her face out of her hands and there is clear signs that she had wiped away some tears. "Tell me everything you know about this 'indoctrination'" She demands.

After laying out everything she knows Liara concludes with. "Even Saren was a victim of it."

She nods. "I never expected a trusted Specter like Saren to actually undermine Citadel Space. This makes things make much more sense." She gets up and looks out her window at her beloved Thessia. "So the Geth have brain washing technology now? That means anywhere the Geth can be a threat and that their infiltrators can be anywhere."

"It... it isn't Geth technology, Matriarch."

"Of course. Prothean right?"

"No it is something that predates the Protheans."

Matriarch Seri sits back down in her desk. "That brings me to question I had for you. What is Tevos hiding?" She takes out Tevos' report from her desk. "Because I can't escape the feeling that she has neglected to mention something."

Liara reads it over. "I knew it." She mutters. "I knew she would deny everything despite all evidence."

"Tevos may be a diplomat and a compromiser but she is shortsighted often and will deny things that don't fit into her view of the galaxy. So." She puts her hands together on her desk. "What is she denying?"

"The Reapers." She says quietly.

"Reapers?" Seri asks. And Liara tells her everything she knows. Understandably Seri is incredulous. "So you claim that a... race of robotic ships is responsible for wiping out the Protheans and other civilizations before them, built the mass relays and the Citadel, and that they attempted to destroy us when the Geth attacked the Citadel? And that they are still trying to come and destroy us?"

"Difficult to believe, I know but it is true."

Seri sighs. "Are you sure you didn't start doing drugs when you left your mother?"

"Auntie!"

"Okay, okay." She thinks. "Well that would explain the vanishing of the Protheans. And several other galactic anomalies. That also establishes why the Geth attacked the Citadel, the reason why had always bugged me. It just didn't make any sense. There is no reason to just attack the Citadel, not with the fact that even if they took it the combined militaries of the Council Species would just take it back as soon as possible. The Geth could not have possibly fought all of us." She closes her eyes and makes all the connections she can. "This is too much to deny. Tevos... you short sighted fool, you blind idiot, you and the rest of the Council are blind." She sighs. "Alright I believe you." She looks at Liara. "It may not make much of a difference but when the Reapers do come I will do my best to ensure the Asari military will do its best to fight." She thinks inside her head "With the Geth allied with the Reapers the alliance with the Quarians is even more beneficial"

"Auntie!" Liara says looking relieved that she believed her.

"There is much to do. Liara I want you to take the Asari 3rd Fleet and try to locate Commander Shepard. We can't let what happened to the Normandy be a triumph tot he Reapers without not even knowing if he did actually die."

"Yes Auntie!"

The Citadel, Presidium

Councilor Tevos is walking through the crowd with her guards. "Today is busy." She mutters. "So much to do, I will need to meet with the Ambassador today to discuss that treaty. In front of her stands a couple of people, humans judging by their body shape, wearing armor and helmets completely covering their heads. Normally she would ignore them but something stuck out to her, a symbol on their armor. This causes her and her guards to pause and stare. Then the memory of a report dawns on her and tells her what that is. "Cerberus..." She says loud enough for people to hear as she backs away slowly. But by this point it is too late. One of them is clearly a biotic and immediately blasts her two unprepared guards away and the second one pulls out a gun and immediately shoots Tevos in the head. After that they kill her guards are fire indiscriminately into the crowd of people trying to run away.

C-Sec is quick to arrive and surrounds them. "Put the guns down and come quietly with us." An officer tells them.

They look at each other and one says into a communicator. "Requesting Extraction." A gunship flies up and opens fire on the C-sec personnel causing them to jump out of the way and the Cerberus agents jump onto the gunship and attach themselves magnetically to it, and it flies off. And they fly off to their safe zone.

After they jump off they run and 30 seconds later one of the Cerberus Operatives pulls out a switch and presses a button with a distant explosion of the gunship they were on. When they get to the safe zone, a place where there is no security cameras, but with an access point into the Keeper Tunnels, giving them access to the rest of the Citadel. They stop running and take off their helmets and disable their holograms, clearly showing they were just Asari Commandos in disguise "By this point Admiral Ola should find out soon that Operation Balance was a complete success." One says to the other.

"Indeed. But does Matriarch Seri know about this?"

"Doubtful, she certainly was the one who drew up the initial plans for Operation Balance but yet Protocol 13 was written by Admiral Ola and I don't think she told her. But that's just my guess."

"Very well then."

Thessia, Matriarch Seri's office

"Certainly, I will see about making sure those artifacts are secure and well taken care of. You just try to find Shepard."

"Thank you, Matriarch."

An Asari Admiral burst in. "Matriarch! Councilor Tevos has been assassinated!"

Matriarch Seri's face freezes. "Assassinated? Explain Admiral Adri." She grounds out.

"According to reports she was gunned down in the street by a pair of humans, her bodyguards and several others are death too!" She yells seemingly close to hysterics. "Footage of the incident indicates these people were from Cerberus!"

"Calm yourself! You are an Admiral of the Asari Navy and commander of the Third Fleet!" Seri roars at her.

"Y-yes ma'am!"

"Now I will handle this myself. Admiral. The Asari 3rd Fleet is to be commanded by Dr. Liara T'Soni until further notice, she is doing an exploration on MY behalf."

"Yes ma'am! Come with me Doctor."

"I will speak to you soon Matriarch."

Matriarch Seri smiles at her as she leaves. After Liara and the Admiral leaves she bursts out into laughter. "Ah this has gone better than I thought." She laughs more. "Finally Tevos has been dealt with." She raises her glass. "May the Spirits continue to smile down on the efforts of the Asari." She tips her glass back into her mouth.

There is another knock on the door. "Come in!"

This time an Asari General walks in. "Matriarch I have a report for you."

"Ah General Neea." Matriarch Seri says smiling, she has tried to be friends with most of High Command thus she knows most officers on a name basis. "What can I do for you?"

"I have a request from Eden Valley."

"Eden Valley? Oh right that joint Asari-Elcor Colony. What about it?"

"They are requesting that the Asari Republics send a Flotilla as protection for the planet as well as to keep the peace due to rising tensions."

"Very well. Take the Asari Peacekeeper Force and head to Eden Valley. Do your best to keep the peace and to protect the colony."

"Yes ma'am!"

Some time later an Asari Admiral walks into her office. "You wished to see me ma'am?"

"Yes Admiral Ulyria. I have decided to expand Asari Space somewhat and I want your 4th Fleet to handle it."

"Where to Admiral?" She asks curious. It is rare for her to think about expanding Asari Space.

"Gaelon, Helyme, and Epho in the Zelene System of the Crescent Nebula."

"Didn't Illium place Helyme under quarantine due to worries over potential bioweapon?" The Admiral asks.

"Indeed they did. Except Eclipse still managed to move in. and nothing bad has happened to them for the past 70 years they have been there." Matriarch Seri says calmly. "So overall it is safe. You are to take the Fleet and the First Mechanized Army and drive the Eclipse Mercenaries from Helyme. Then you are to claim it for the Asari Republics as well as the other two worlds."

"Yes ma'am."

"Good. Epho may be able to be turned into a terrestrial world after we remove some carbon dioxide from the world and replace it with oxygen, since CO2 levels there are too high for the moment, though for now we will rely on domed cities for there. Epho will allow us to boost our Palladium reserves, Gaelon will allow us to have more Helium-3, and Helyme will serve as a good position for the Asari military in the Terminus as well as a suitable colony provided people don't mind the occasional weather and the high oxygen levels, which we can reduce given enough time." She stands up from her desk. "Now if you need me I will be at the Citadel. Our newly appointed Councilor will want me to announce her appointment to the Council as a show of faith."

Citadel Presidium, Councilor Tevos' former office

"And this will be your office Irissa." Matriarch Seri says showing her into an office he once inhabited in her younger years. "This place hasn't changed too much." She remarks looking out the window. "Of course there were no humans from this view when I was younger."

"Indeed. Thank you for this opportunity Matriarch."

"Anytime Irissa." She tells her. "Your mother was a good friend of mine, she is proud to see that you have been made Councilor."

"That is good."

"Indeed. Well get settled in. I will be back in 5 hours to make the speech you wanted me to do."

"Thank you Matriarch, and where are you going?"

"Oh just to walk around the Citadel. It has been too long since I just took a walk."

"Be careful. With what happened to Tevos some of the security here was worried about your life, there are few who can replace you."

"We all die eventually." She pats the pistol in her holster. "And if I must die today I am sure I will die a warrior."

"Very well Matriarch."

Seri leaves and starts waling through the Presidium. "Maybe I should pay a visit to Sha'ira. I haven't spoken to her directly for nearly 200 years, she was very helpful during my time as Councilor thanks to her passing along information to me." She makes note to visit her later. While she walks she notices she gets a few stares especially from humans. "Humans haven't seen an outfit lie this except outside of their history books, but I like it better than some form fitting outfit or those robes." Of course several Asari soldiers on leave recognize her and salute her. She is happy to make not that they are carrying some form of weapon as ordered. She heads for the elevator to the wards but looks around and frowns a little. "This place has always been too peaceful for me. Its not bad yet I prefer the sights of Thessia." She smiles. "I remember how I used to joke about how when I am old and useless I will just retire and come here for a couple months every year to relax in the sun. Well I'm old now but I don't think I am useless quite yet."

She heads down to the wards and finds a woman with a couple children. "Spare some credits ma'am."

She takes out a small bundle of credits, easily over a thousand all together, and hands them to her. "Use these wisely." She tells her handing them to her and walks away. "Now where to go? Might as well get a few drinks." She remarks to herself and goes to a bar named Darkstar. Inside she orders a drink but before she does she notices a familiar face. "Ah Nyree." She tells the Turian Primarch making sure not to address him by title since he is here. "Mind if I join you for drinks?"

Councilors of the Citadel,

It has come to my attention that several factions within the Hegemony, formerly powerful figures who led the great Hegemony in to decadence are responsible for several cases of misconduct.  These individuals have thus been dealt with within the boundaries of batarian law.  And with their punishments, I personally beseech the council to consider the Hegemony's return to a member state.

General Ari
Omagea, Afterlife.
Felling satisfied with the talk, the general ended the call and took a sip of his drink. The brandy hit his lips and a crisp familiar feeling his his tongue. Say what you want about omega. But truth is, they have good drinks. This always surprised the general and this was also usually how he judged a culture was by the quality of there best alcohol. The best drink he had ever had was a bottle of quarian wine from 100 years before the morning war. The wine was expertly kept and tasted splendid. Unfortunately would have to spend his entire life's salary just to taste that again. So the general kept to cheaper drink. Looking around the club the turian could see many potential hires, and he had to be sure about it. The future of the hierarchy depended on him.

Primarch Victus
Dark Star

To track the voice that addressed him, he turned and viewed the always as ever, awkwardly dressed Matriarch Siri. The primarch smiled and motioned for her to take the seat next to him. "Be my guest." he said with a slight laugh. This place was a hole in the wall and he doubted that she had just stumbled upon Dark Star. But then again, stranger things have happened. Turning back to his two bottles of turian brandy the primarch looked her up and down again in his peripheral view. She didn't seem the type to drink. Maybe she had come here to dance? No, her outfit proved that was out of the question. Business? That was one of the few other options left, but Nyree reconsidered, or rather hoped she was there to drink and not talk politics. "So what brings you to this neck of the woods? These part of the wards are no place for a woman like you. " He said in a deep tone, trying to keep his breath from hitting her nostrils as he had been drinking the better part of an hour already. "Dont get me wrong but you seem more of the fancy type." Nyree brushed his dark vest off and turned to her with on elbow propping him against the bar counter.

(OOC: For RP reasons we are going to just say it was Quentius handing all of this.)

Councilor Quentius
C-Sec Persidium Interigation

Looking at the man he shook his head once more. "We have no reason to trust you. No matter your alliances the files you want acces to are secret. You cant just ask for top secret information. We have your reper tech and you are in custody. What do you have to bargan with? You have no credibility. The only reason you are not on your way to prison for posessing iligal reaper tech is because you got my attention. What can you offer for a file and your freedom?" The councilor paced back abnd forth behind the man looking down on him. This man had a few cards to play no doubt, but nothing that his hand couldnt handle.

"Perhaps to remember a bit of my youth." She orders a drink that is actually fairly common. "I haven't been drinking in the wards for the past, oh I don't know, 240 years or so." She takes a drink. "Me and my old Battalion after the Geth uprising would get together here every year and just storm the Wards just drinking and celebrating our time together. I swear we must have gotten banned from half the bars on the Citadel at the time. Some of them still uphold that ban." She sighs in memory. "We may have lost but our comradeship never faded." She looks at the crowd of dancing people. "But of course you probably don't want to listen to an old woman's tales. Sure I can drink in my office like some decrepit old woman, like some other Matriarchs do, but where's the fun in that? It isn't as lively as a place like this. Nor is any place where you can drink on the Presidium. When you have commanded a military for 67 years you learn that occasionally you need to relax, something I rarely do. And sure I can be elegant in my actions and I prefer fancier plans but sometimes something simple is the best way to go. If I want somewhere fancy there are plenty of such places withing walking distance of my office on Thessia. Here one can lean back and enjoy life." She drains her glass and puts it back on the table. "More please bartender."

The Geth Consensus
Perseus Veil
Rannoch

The Geth had been affected by a deadly virus but fortunately the crisis was averted before it spread to too many servers while many servers were lost the situation was handled perfectly.
Where the virus had come from was unknown origin a Review of where the virus had originated from had been launched but it’s likely to turn up inconclusive. In the future to better handle viruses or other cyber warfare the consensus voted on several fail safes and back up servers even an emergency restart that would reset every infected part of the system to factory standard. But it could only be activated through a consensus. A new massive backup server was built on a secure location on Rannoch.
The Geth had watched the council interview with the Geth unit while the reactions were estimated they were disappointed that the Geth did not reach any conclusive agreement with the council as such a potential invasion was still a possibility and the manufacturing of new Geth infantry had been doubled.
The additional troops would help garrison the world of the far rim and Perseus veil in anticipation for a potential ground war.

Clan Krerdok||Prisidom Columns,Citadel||Random Bar

Tosk felt the surge of rocky Turian skin and bone hitting his side and found himself on his back with the 6 Turians trying to wrestle the hammer from his grasp, which didn't happen after ten seconds. The Turian with his hammer had to use all his might to throw it the side out of use for now. With a snort and a new free hand, the Tosk would use his close combat speciality...HEADBUTTS ALL AROUND!!! Tosk bang his head on the middle Turian, knocking him out with the possibility of having a concussion. The Turian wobbled for a bit before falling backwards,he used his freed hammer hand to punch nearest Turian into another. With the wait off his chest he was able to force himself up with the Turian that had gotten his hammer jumping on his back with his sidearm out,he aimed at his played head and fired but his eyes flickered with fear as he saw the mass effect field deflect the bullets."BIOTIC!" was all he could say before Tosk sent his ME field out,to fling the 3 remaining Turians away, one landed behind the bar another hitting face first on a stripper pole and the last skidding across the floor until he came to a stop in front of the main Turian.

Tosk wave his hands in a sorta Kung Fu style hand gestures to focus in the mass effect fields and biotic energy. The brightest blues and purples enraged around his body, the colors blinding in some places were the energy was so great it turned white. It was all the signs of a Flare Attack. The lone Krogan was under complete strain as he focused the mass effect fields around him and I'm his palms."You Turians disgust me! Your honor is that of a Pyjak"he said with a loud growl, ready to send the Flare at the marines at the slightest threat.

(It's just him,no spec ops)

Clan Krerdok||Capek||The Underground

A squad of marines exam the pieces of the comet on the exterior of the planet. They wore their masks as they swept the area clear."We have some good material readings. It would be wise to take this back to the Underground for the miners"A Krogan in blue armor said before calling in the heavy tanks to help take it back to the Underground. The 8 man squad hopped in the transports and enjoyed the long bumpy ride home.

Meanwhile in the Underground.....

The old Krogan Chieftain Fux was grunting in discomfort as he walked towards the Vet-Com station. He hit the certain code that would hail the Quarian Flotilla,he had a bargain that would be mutually beneficial. No longer could his clan stay on Capek alone, they had the ground troops but they needed the ships.

"The Hegemony is interested in supporting the Qurian people in their journey to returning to their home. To the Batarian Leader
There here is nothing really preventing you from returning to the Citadel, you just need to be willing to accept all Citadel Treaties, and the fact humans are on the Council, become a Citadel Client Race again, and the Batarians must be willing to make an effort to stop the terrorist attacks by "the few Batarian patriots". Also the Batarians must be willing to make an effort to stop Slavery in the Hegemony in order to eventually improve the Batarian economy with a non slave based population. After those steps the Council will be willing to discuss lifting the sanctions imposed on you.

Council,

Slavery is both cultural and economically sound within the Hegemony's stable economy.  Furthermore, "indentured servants" are much the same, although the Hegemony has the integrity to call it for what it is: slavery.  As for the other conditions, the great Hegemony is willing to overlook the blatant imperialism of humanity in order to see these sanctions lifted.

The Elcor Courts - Dekunna

The day was cool and dry in the Capital and though sparsely furnished relying mostly on a minimalist charm, the same could be said about the Courthouse. This grand white building sat on a hilltop overlooking the Capital, the atmosphere was tense and the crowd seemed deathly quiet. All the seats were filled by the most important elders had gathered to hear the answer from Citadel

At the lectern, a figure in simple black and grey robes started to speak. "Brothers and sisters this is exactly what I am afraid of. For years we played a small, but nonetheless, important part in contributing to the Council and to the world. But and afraid to say our request to join the Council has been turn down " Ambassador Calyn said

"Then lets withdraw from Council Space altogether? We are self-sufficient so departing from the Galatic scene will hardly hurt us" some one shouted

Ambassador Calyn spoke again "That would leave us open to invasion" "Agreed, i will not let us with draw" said High Elder Bython

High Elder Bython stood and started to speak "We are unchanging in a mad world. The same careful deliberation that should have made us vigilant, made us stagnant. our independence should have protected us but have isolated us and have left us both unprepared to face disasters and unable to rely on others for help. but it has been decided, Elcor values will not be protected through inaction but closely safeguarded by a stronger military."

With in a hart beat The Assembly exploded in an audible approval that even the members of the Citadelcould not help but hear.

Agent Kyoto nodded and smiled at the counselor's offer. "My freedom is of no consequence, but that file is vital. I can offer several things for the file, and don't worry, I actually have authorization to offer them. First is some info on a new Cerberus Project that revolves around a certain spectre. Second is an offer that my superiors think that you will accept. We are willing to offer our services to the council, or just to the Turian Hierarchy. We operate deep in the Terminus systems and could reach any target, spy on any organization, go anywhere without restraint. We could be the Citadel's arm in the Terminus. The best part is that we can't be traced back to you, unlike the Spectres." Kyoto finished his long winded speech and sat back, analysing the Turian's face for his response.

Zeus keyed a seemingly endless set of pass codes, ciphers, and security questions as he navigated the Labyrinth that was his secure communications network. He found the connection to the Agent he sought, one of his best Cerberus Agents, and activated the line. A balding middle aged man appeared on the view screen, rubbing his temples and staring out of bloodshot eyes. "Hello, Wilson here. Miranda? Look, I don't care if you want me to report call me in the morning." The man said, adding a rather nasty swear on to the end of the statement.

Zeus chuckled and replied jokingly, "Do you greet your Cerberus superiors this way too, Agent Archimedes?"

"Zeus!" Wilson shouted, falling backwards out of his chair. He rolled out of the fall and stood straight at attention, fist raised in a salute.

"At ease Archimedes. We have received Intelligence that Cerberus is planning to resurrect Shepard, would you have any information on that?"

"Well Sir, I was just about to report on that. The Illusive Man selected me to assist with Project Lazarus, which is meant to bring Shepard back to life. I'm under the command of a *insert expletive* named Miranda. She's good at what she does and is pretty smart, but I can't stand her. I was going to send over her dossier for potential recruitment with my report."

"Good work Archimedes, and I will look over her file, but the main objective is Shepard. Do not attempt to sabotage the Project. If Shepard is resurrected then you must try and bring him to us. I'll send you the full mission details once I receive your report. Zeus out.

Office of the Dalatrass,
Sur'Kesh

As the Dalatrass was sitting in her office, filling out yet more paperwork, she placed a call to High Commander Gubame.

"High Commander, any news on whether our fleets have had any luck in locating Cerberus activities?" asked the Dalatrass. "None yet, Dalatrass."
"Let me know the moment you do. We're beginning a massive economic revitalization project next month, we're a little short on funds for it at the moment, but if our allies come through and we can obtain the necessary credits, then we will be able to begin construction on a number of ships once the project is complete, and we upgrade our shipyards the following month." stated the Dalatrass.

"Yes, Dalatrass, I look forward to these possibilities. In addition, there is an undertaking that I believe you may be interested in...."

Elysian Kentarchy wrote:"Perhaps to remember a bit of my youth." She orders a drink that is actually fairly common.

Nyree tilted his hed down and watched the liquid in his cylindrical cup moved with the bass of the speakers. The liquid seemed to dance with the beat, perhaps it belonged on the dance floor he thought. His attention went back to matriarch Siri as she was nearly finished. Looking at her as she kept mentioning comradery. It mad Nyree think silently of his battles, and all the men he had seen die. Looking at his hands grip the glass. They were strong, talons sharp but he could still make out the burns on his hands even in this dark pulsing light. Letting go of the cup he looked back at the asari realizing it had been a short time and an awkward silence was beginning to brew between the two. "You know, I have been paying attention to you latest bills and acts that you have passed within the asari republics. I have to say I am disappointed." Nyrees mandibles fluttered as a man approached from behind. It was a Turian along with his salarian friend.

The salaria spoke first, "Excuse me but are you General-" he began to correct himself. "Primarch Victus of the turian hierarchy?"

Nyree sighed and nodded, "That would be me yes." Nyree stood up straight and put his hands behind his back.

The turian spoke next, "Me and my friend just anted to thank you for your service during the Taetrus counter insurgency. You saved my family and we just wanted to say thank you primarch."

Nyree smiled, "I was just doing my job, never thank a man for doing his job, or else it might go to his head."

The turian bowed "Yes primarch, thank you for your time." then he yanked the salarian away, who was clearly going to ask for a picture.

Nyree smiled and turned back to the matriarch. " Sorry about that, where was I?" Nyree though for a split second. "Oh right, You new policy's: I hope you don't take offense when I say you should not try to change very much in your peoples culture. The sudden mobilization in the asari armed forces could cause issues with the public peace. I have read several articles in my spare time that criticize your work." Nyree takes a drink and continues, "The organizations responsible for these articles claim you are the end of asari cultural prosperity, and that you have altuirior motives. Your own people don't like what you are doing, and they freely speak out against your government." Taking a seat Nyree waved over for another drink." And if you want my advice I recommend you possibly try something else. I have seen this thing before and it could possibly lead to more public descent or, spirits forbid, even civil unrest within your republics."

The 8 man squad hopped in the transports and enjoyed the long bumpy ride home.

The old Krogan Chieftain Fux was grunting in discomfort as he walked towards the Vet-Com station. He hit the certain code that would hail the Quarian Flotilla,he had a bargain that would be mutually beneficial. One detachment of the file you are looking for, for all the information on Shepard and anything else that has to do with him. Call it a leap of faith for our partnership. I will not have you associated with the rest of the hierarchy or this council. But if it means vital information we can make a trade. Upon receiving all information and finding it is all truthful and accurate then you will receive the rest of the information you request. Seri gives a chuckle and orders another drink. "You would be surprised at how much opposition I get from time to time. You are talking to someone who had votes of no confidence against her the very day she assumed command of the Asari military." She takes a drink. "I am the first pureblood in a very very long time to have assumed this role. That has led to much opposition due to pure discrimination. And trust me the only thing I want to change about Asari culture is the discrimination against Purebloods holding high office like myself." She opens up her omni-tool and flips through a couple things. "I can take a guess who wrote some of the articles you are referring to. And here is what they wrote a few months back after the Geth attack."

She pulls up a article dated only a few hours after the Geth attack on the Citadel and Seri reads it out loud. "Crisis on the Citadel, was it possibly the fault of Seri? Asari soldier on the Citadel says that if the Geth come for the Asari they will be ill equipped to resist an attack by a dreadnought as seen in the attack on the Citadel. This is of course the fault of Matriarch Seri for not preparing the Asari military enough even though she has received reports of Geth movements. A real Asari Patriot would have strengthens the military and have mobilized the Asari military and had it ready to meet most threats. I call upon the Asari people to call for the resignation of Matriarch Seri, otherwise she will spell the end of Asari cultural prosperity as well as Asari independence" She orders another drink and keeps reading, tge article goes on and on but maintains the same note of pinning as much of the attack on the Citadel as they can on Seri, claiming had the Asari military been more at the ready the Geth wouldn't have even reached the Citadel. It ends on the same note of "As always readers remember: This is what we get for putting Purebloods in charge. Such a thing spells the end of Asari culture and is why they shouldn't be trusted."

"See what I mean?" Seri asks. "If they had a picture of me holding a gun on the Citadel they would have used it as a picture of me attacking the Citadel myself." She sighs. "They have been doing this for 67 years, any action I undertake is criticized, even if my actions are in response to that criticism, they criticized me of not preparing the military enough and not having a large enough standing force, I make moves to correct that and they turn around and claim that these actions will be the death of us. As the humans would put it: I am their favorite punching bag." She sighs at the hate she gets from her own people. "I took this job when I was younger because I wanted to change things, to show fellow Purebloods that they can also do great things, but being constantly attacked by your own people, being discriminated against no matter what you do..." She sighs again and orders another drink. "I have been discriminated against since I was born, people tried to kill me for being what I am, so what did I do? I joined the military, I didn't go of to become some stripper or mercenary like 'normal' Asari. Instead I wanted the honor and glory that came from military service. My drill instructors continually harassed me, signaled me out for special punishment and discrimination. I was mocked even then. But I stayed in the military determined to make my mark. I worked hard for every promotion I got, I risked my life far more than other Asari, part of which because I was ordered to and the rest because I wanted to. I was someone who sought a glorious death on the battlefield." She orders yet another drink. "Every step of my life I have suffered criticism." It is clear that her drinking has caused her to be willing to talk about her issues.

"Do you know how I was made Asari Councilor? That time there was an election since my predecessor and the next person in line were caught in a massive scandal. I was the heavily unpopular opponent versus the much more popular candidate. Do you know how I won? It was revealed a week before the vote that my opponent was also a Pureblood and had lied about who her father was. That made the vote between the person who was open about being a Pureblood and had a real platform and the person who lied about not being one with a platform of don't vote Pureblood. She was instantly destroyed. Yet even after I won there were some calling for my impeachment I resigned after 20 years of work because I couldn't make any form of difference without being ripped apart." She orders another drink. "And do you know my first action when I was named commander in chief?" Finally she starts to get angry. "I banned any and all discrimination against Purebloods in the Asari military under the penalty of dishonorable discharge and the opposition ripped into me. They claimed under my leadership the Asari military would become home to all evils that could be known to the Asari and that I was raising an army of Purebloods to overthrow the Asari way of life. That I would destroy our culture." She squeezes the glass so hard that it shatters, though she just uses some medigel to clean it up and orders another drink. "We may seem like we are nice and welcoming people to outsiders yet I have seen how terrible the Asari can be, I have seen what they are willing to do to their own people. I have seen worlds mandate that all Purebloods, their mothers and fathers too, are to be put to death as the embodiment of the death of Asari culture. I have been to labs whose sole purpose to find out what genetic failure amongst the Asari leads them to want to mate with their own kind. I have seen the hatred my kind can bring against their own. Is there anything wrong with wanting to change that?" There are some slight tears in the corners of her eyes. "I love Thessia and, despite everything, I love the Asari, they are my people and despite them hating me I still want to protect them, but more than just the Asari I love those under my command, I never had a family so they became my family and I am willing to die for all of them, for the Asari who hate me and for the Asari who are my family. I wanted to have a family all my life, to have children, and live life like a normal person. Yet I didn't want to bring children into this galaxy only for them to suffer the discrimination I have." She closes her eyes and the tears shed but she wipes them away. "Why did I have to be born as an Asari?"

Of course some Asari soldiers on leave are in the bar and they look at their commander in chief with sad eyes and a few come up to her and pat her shoulder or grasp her hand briefly and leaves. Three of them though come to her and say. "Matriarch, we thank you for all you have done for Purebloods like us, the military is the one organization that doesn't discriminate against us thanks to people like you."

Seri puts herself in order and turns to the Primarch. "I'm sorry for the trouble my issues have caused you Primarch, I shouldn't bother others with the issues of an old woman. Suffice to say I will keep your advice in mind but I will still continue to strengthen the Asari military in order to strength the defenses of Asari space but I seek to enforce Council law as well. Hence why I will be sending ships in the coming months to reinforce the Citadel Defense Fleet after the damage it undertook in the Geth attack." She doesn't mention that she does have an ulterior motive: the Reapers are coming if Liara is to be believed and she must be ready.

She doesn't open it but she does receive a message from the 4th Fleet.

"Let the ship dock to a cruiser and have everyone in that Batarian ship under heavy guard." Admiral Koris stated, I'll have a Quarian meet the Batarians.
"We also have a message from a Krogan Clan sir. They want to make a deal."
Admiral Koris grimaced, ever since that Asari came to the migrant fleet, things had gone crazy.
"Very well, ask them what they have in mind."
