Today, 17 of June 2015 at 8 O clock in the morning the Leader of Sperland, Napoleon Bonaparte was assassinated while visiting a newly built city called new Shellvain. The nation was left leaderless as his wife was also killed. Half an hour later the Minister for defence suffered the same fate while making a speech in the same city. The assassin was caught an hour later. The assassin said he was hired by the antarctecan government to kill the leader of Sperland. So now the fate of Sperland lies in the hands of Labhrás Dalavarsho and Napoleons 13 year old daughter.

The Sperlish government has decided to declare war on Antarteca.

The Hambonian imperial government is preparing its forces for battle, a small force of 1000 infantry soldiers have been dispatched to sperland for the time being, more troops will arrive as the war unfolds.

Thousands of Sperlish Troops marched through Shellvain. A new flag was raised. Everyone knew there was going to be a violent war ahead. Rationing started already. It was going to be a hard war. Everyone knew that. Liesel Bonaparte was crowned Queen of Sperland.
Soon there was going to be Napoleon's funeral. It was always done the old fashioned way. With respect. The People of Sperland were also going to have to elect a new minister for defence. The candidates were, Halso Forledger or John Jelievasano. John is an old leader of Sperland. He is very wise.

The Elector-Primo, James Markus Dean, had fought 3 major wars and won all of them in his past terms before Levi Dean. News around the world spiraled and flopped about war being eminent between the nations. The Grand Republic of Antarctica had recently found a large deposit of gold in their South American state of Peru. The Governor said that this would be split 25% to the state and 75% to the federal government. The federal government used this money to produce more foreign investment and domestic along with much more military weaponry and vehicles and aircraft.

Now that war was present, the Elector-Primo was furious of such an insult. "The killer was never sent by our government to do such terroristic acts! To them or any other nations in the world" said the Secretary of Defense in a statement released this morning.

An armed force of 200,000 was being mobilised and a total of 51,000 Antarctic Marines were being deployed to the war-seeking nation of Sperland. Along with these 51,000 Marines is 1 aircraft carrier, 5 cruisers and 12 destroyers -- 25 F-35s with them of course. These troops would arrive soon by air and landing craft.

We ask Sperland to seek surrender or else face international pressure.

The assassin had sworn that he was hired to kill the leader of Sperland. He was let live.
Many politicians were arguing that Sperland Shouldn't fight Antarcteca. But they didn't get enough support. Sperland was full of national resources and was a great industrial power. The Sperlish armed forces had fought many wars recently (Look at signature) and was very experienced. After a war against Grand Nicholia the Sperlish army was already mobilized. About 120,000 troops were prepared t fight. The military was still mobilizing (Just a little bit). 90 ships were guarding the coasts of Sperland. 45 U-boats 25 destroyers and 20 corvettes. There were also 3 aircraft carriers prepared to sail the seas.

The empire had known both sides would have huge forces.

In the cloudy streets of hambonia, armored troops marched to the nearest docks, so they could board a vessel to sperland, as the war was suspected to be fought there.

Imperial phalanx class soldiers polished their huge shields.

The centurion class infantry assembled their large suits of armor.

And most of the vhehicles where fueled to the max.

Approximately 50,000 personnel are being deployed, with 2 aircraft carriers, 3 battle cruisers, and 2 defense cruisers. And about 200 vehicles (mostly tanks) will also be deployed.

About 40 F35s, and 25 Commanche gunships, will be stationed on the carriers.

ETA is about 14 hours.

Invasion of Sperland

Of course the press releases and reports showed that 51,000 Marines from the Edward's Division were being deployed. The Division in total actually had 314,000 Marines.

When the invasion began, 240,00 were actually being sent as the invasion force. Hundreds of carrier-aircraft began dropping tens of troops and hundreds of landing craft were landing on beaches. Bombardment from the massive fleet began.

Two squadrons of 6 F-35s were deployed unto the invasion zone to clear the area. These advanced and Antarctic-Modified aircrafts were pretty agile and were ready for almost anything.

Attack-Helicopters were soon to come as well.

Domestic Production

Production for the military absolutely soared. Ammo, weaponry, and other military things were being produces en masse in factories across the country.

The economy obviously took a waver but nothing that couldn't be held for a couple years before it got very serious.

Political Agenda

A peace offer that was drafted by some Peace-Democrats in our Congress was sent to the Senate to be voted on. It was immediately defeated with a 21-198. The Senate was controlled by the Militarist Party and therefore passage of the bill treaty would be impossible unless Sperland offered something plausible.

As a precaution, the hambonian forces in sperland have set up command posts in almost every city.

Along with these outposts, a large anti air network consisting of IMG-60 AA machine guns, A26 BOLT Flak cannons, and A4-Hornet SAM launchers.

And for ground defense, the hambonian forces have access to IMG-44 Light machine guns, R5- "Jackhammer" anti armor rocket launchers, and lastly, "Mjolnir II" anti armor cannons.

About 10,000 men have been added to the force of 50,000, mostly consisting of sperlish militia, and Hambonian drafts.

Hambonia's main objective in this war was to defend sperland while the sperlish military takes the offensive.

Hambonian troops moved to the coasts to defend against invasion.

60 F35s patrol the skies around the coasts, and longbow II artillery guns have been set up inland, to also cover the beaches.

Infantry have dug out trenches, and have rebuilt old bunkers for use in case of invasion.

Invasion of Sperland

The invasion on Sperland was now on a full scale. Mass amount of marines from the Edwards Division were being deployed. So far aerial casualties had be counted to 4 Gunships (AC-130 Models) were downed and the other 26 were still operating and deploying men all over the beaches and the surrounding area.

Domestic Protection

A foreign nation had never ever dared to invade Antarctic homeland in Latin American, Antarctic Continent and Madagascar. The last time an invasion took place, 340,000 were lost in the span of a week. The reason that invading the Grand Republic of Antarctica's homeland was quite obvious: patriotism and nationalism.

States in our union had formed state guards. The average amount of state guards in each state was around 30-40 thousand soldiers and federal troops was about 15-20 thousand in time of peace. The State Guards were only payed when in duty -- pretty much a well armed militia. In a time of war these numbers swelled from 50%-60%.

Now, bodies weren't the only thing protecting our vast nation. Hundreds of vessels were all over the coasts of our nations in all our seas. Along with these were squadrons flying over our airspace quite frequently especially in war.

Lastly, guns. Anti-Missile, Anti-Aircraft, Anti-WMD, Anti-Vessel, and Anti-Satellite Networks were placed all over our nation -- mostly in secret. These networks were always monitored by classified bases around the countries states and territories.

A Call of Allies

Antarctica was not a a great nation because of itself. The nation itself can not stand extreme pressure like all nations, it is her allies that do most aid. The nation's allies -- specifically her great 5 allies: The Underground Movement Union, The United Socialist States of Britain, The Arabian Emirates, and New Wondour. These nations worked extremely close with the Grand Republic of Antarctica.

An official message was sent to the government of Sperland stating that they should "...surrender in favor of their country not their ego so that their people might survive this great mistake for we are considering of involving the G5. Do consider this."

[The United States of Soviet Britain]

President Vladimir Reznov was informed of the current situation between Sperland and Antarctica. His advisers begged him not to get bogged down in another war, but Reznov was all too certain this war was exactly what he needed. A chance at revenge on Sperland for their senseless attack on Soviet Britain. Sperland's invasion of Soviet Britain's territory of Ireland had costed thousands of lives. It was time for revenge. But Reznov knew he needed to get the war approved in the Soviet Senate.

A day later, it was publicly announced to the world that the Soviet Senate was convening to vote on whether Soviet Britain should go to war or not. At this time, 17 out of 42 Senators have pledged to vote yay on the war, 12 have promised to vote nay, and 13 are still not sure. The vote will end and the results will come in soon.

The hambonians have yet to see action in the war.

So far an extra 5000 men arrive at sperland daily, and four more ships have rendezvous with the hambonian forces.

A hambonian recon plane had spotted some antarcean troops setting up bases in areas where they control the most, a large fleet of 120 B52's (plus escort of 50 F35's) will be arriving in sperland soon and prepare a bombing run on rumored antarcean sites.

The Drake Aerial Division was on the 9th Fleet. These pilots went to Drake University back in the Antarctic Continent which had great study and real time practice for pilots.

Hambonian recon drones reported seeing F22's on patrol, in response, a squadron of 35 SU-47, "raptor killers" have been added to the escort of 60 F35s. The fleet of 120 B52s will leave to carpet bomb the antartecan positions in two hours.

The Soviet Senate has reached a decision. The vote was 26-16 in the Soviet Senate. War has been declared on the Hambonian Islands and Sperland. The Soviet Brittannian government has declared support for its ally, Antarctica. Most of all though, Soviet forces seek revenge on Sperland for the destructive invasion years before this.

85,000 Soviet soldiers have been mobilized with 122,000 more to come. The already mobilized Soviet forces have joined Antarctican forces on the beaches of Sperland to assist in a joint invasion. In preparation for possible retaliation from the Hambonian Islands or Sperland, military positions have been set up on the Soviet Brittannian Federal Districts of Ireland and Brtain, as well as along the European borders in the Districts of Lithuania, Kaliningrad, Belarus, Ukraine, And Moldova. Also, small defenses have been established in the far eastern territory of Siberia in case of an attack from the Pacific.

Aerial Fight

5 F-22s have been downed. The Pilots are reported to be alive thanks to the SES (Safe Evacuation System) installed on the F-22s. The continuous amounts of F-22 squadrons swarmed in tactically. Their one and only goal was to down all the bombers before they could reach the fleet -- which would have many aircraft and missiles and anti-aircraft as well.

The Drake's Air Division was doing very well and The Hambonians were foreseen to soon retreat at the rate the battle was going. The Drake's Air Division had a new weapon as well, the LRASM -- Long Range Anti Ship Missile. These LRASMs were first made to annihilate vessels but now they were tweaked to combat aerial forces. 40 LRASM drones were fired to intercept F-35s and Bombers.

The way LRASMs worked was a pretty advanced idea. The LRASM would be fired from a vessel or deck weapon of some type and would then be airborne. After it is airborne a satellite connection would be established and it would engage and bomb it's target with precision and caution. The LRASM was not just any missile for one reason -- it could detect enemy weaponry. The LRASM would fly were the weaponry can not reach, fire or see. This made the LRASM unique enough to compete with a fighter jet like the F-35.

As the fight neared the 9th Fleet or "Drake Fleet" the Anti-Air Snipers took action. The Anti-Air Snipers were not as possible to shoot down an aircraft like an AA gun, but it did have precision. If an aircraft got in the scope of an Anti-Air Sniper Turret then it would be completely doomed. However, getting in the turrets scope was very difficult due to fighter jet speed.

Sperland Invasion

As the invasion of Sperland being commonly known as the "Invasion of the Hogs" was in progress, a sight of further relief was shown. The United Socialist States of Britain, a long vouched ally of her Grand Republic of Antarctica, had joined the fight after the recent vote in the Soviet Senate.

The sight of Russo-Soviet troops greatly boosted the morale of the marines on the beaches fighting against the Sperlands.

Blue Palace, Berlin, Germany

After receiving the telegram from Antarteca, William was quick to act. He sent the First Fleet, in order to support the antartecan fleet in Sperland. Meanwhile, the nation's well known intelligence agency, MI6 started scanning Sperland communications for intelligence and any other information they could gather. Although the Sperland communication codes were hard to crack, the Aganecy was making good progress. Also, William had called upon the leaders of the G5 to come to Brussels Belgium, were he had built the G5 HQ at the impressive cost $3.5 billion. The building included luxurious suites for the leaders to stay in, impressive high tech security cameras, heat censors and metal detectors. Also the building air was filtered and monitored for the leader's safety. Around the building were multiple checkpoints and boasted a guard of 250 SAS soldiers with 50 members of the King's Red Guard. Other systems incorporated to the building were: secure communication systems including, live conferences, and telephone, with a direct line to the Sperland government; a secure private conference room for the G5 leaders; private offices for the G5 leaders among other classified security measures and rooms.
This was the most protected and secure building in the world.

THE IMPERIAL PALACE, EAST OF HAMBONIA CITY

It was a cloudy day Royalty island, home to hambonia's capital city.

Lord Hambone, (recently named "high lord") was in his throne, waiting for news of the war to come home.

That's when high colonel voychek stepped in.

Nathan voychek was heading the operation in sperland, and had come to the high lord to tell him the latest news on the war.

"Voychek, what news have you brought me"?

"Well sir, we won an aeiral battle with the antarctecans, but we lost 40 bombers, and a few fighters".

"Anything else"? Hambone asked.

"Well, we've had a few skirmishes here and there, but really, we haven't seen much action".

"Alright voychek, good to hear, keep me posted, and by the way, I'm sending an additional 30,000 men to sperland, as well as the hambonian 5th fleet.".

Voychek left, and Hambone prepared arrangements for the reinforcement of sperland.

Aerial War

News was coming through that the Hamboninan government declared victory in the battle that was still going on. To counter such things propaganda was stamped all over news channels that Hambonian forces were being decimated at a quick pace. F-22s continued to fight the vulnerable fighters and putting an offensive on F-35s.

Naval Build Up

Antarctic naval presence in the area had risen to about 75 vessels, 2 of which were aircraft carriers. No further information was released and the rest was locked and set as classified.

G5 Confrence

A G5 Conference was supposed to be held and the Elector-Primo was already on his Electoral Air Force One with his Electoral Squadron of 8 F-35s and 10 F-22s. They would soon arrive at the Brussels.

While the bombers mission was completed, the fighters had been left behind, and had trouble fighting the enemy raptors. The Su47's however, could easily dodge any missile behind them.

However, they were low on fuel. All of the hambonian fighters decided to fall back to secure airspace to regroup. Any raptor brave enough to follow them would be shot down by the hambonian air defense network.
