The crew of the Express ran up the feeble metal stairs; not stopping for a moment as zeds were directly behind them, clanging clumsily up the stairs at a remarkable speed. Everything was going about as good as it could, given the current situation. That is, until Petya tripped. His head slammed into the metal stair at breakneck speeds, and that’s exactly what happened. With a sickening crunching sound, he went limp. The rest of the crew carried on, sprinting up the stairs as the screams of Petya could be heard emanating from behind them. God only knows what he was going through.
Just keep moving, Muse said to herself.
Just keep moving.
The door burst open and bright light filled Muse and Yaro’s eyes as the sun beat down on them. Yaro slammed the door shut, inserting the hatchet into the two handles. The small steel grip wouldn’t hold long, but it would hold. Yaro rushed to the opposite side of the building, and set the huge radio down. He tapped a few buttons and yelled into it, “This is the surviving crew of the Shyluzan Deadman’s Express calling all frequencies! We request extraction at…” Muse tossed him the flare gun. “... the purple flare! We are being overrun, so move your asses!”
With that, he raised the flare gun, and fired. The recoil slammed through his spine, and the flare exploded into a purple sphere of smoke a ways above his head. He drew his pistol and Muse raised hers. After all, Petya had had the rifle. She called to Yaro, “Request a ROMULUS drop on this position! We need all the firepower we can get.”
Yaro nodded, and made the call. Far above Union City, a small ordnance pod disconnected, and plunged to the atmosphere. A few moments later, a fireball could be seen above Union City, headed for the purple flare.
Then the hatchet snapped.Captain Muse Maraslav Doubek, PilotPetty Officer Petya Marvek Hiroslak, Technician

"GET DOWN! GET DOWN NOW!" Yelled Muse at the new arrivals, as the fireball popped chutes, decoupled the heat-shield, floated for a bit, dropped and then fired the SRB landing thrusters. Hot exhaust filled the air on the roof, marking the location to any others, maybe someone who had an aircraft. Yaro had ran and tackled one of the soldier, shielding them from exhaust. Muse had hid behind a a pile of bricks, and the exhaust had charred the front side of the bricks lightly. They were a nice golden-red now.
When the dust had settled, a singular structure was new. A minigun, mounted on what appeared to be a barrel of ammunition sat, spinning, scanning for hostile units. It made an ominous hissing sound, and steam poured off the gun's barrel. Muse stood up, and said. "You got an evac plan? Or did you just come up here to get yourselves killed with us?"
