"Since Bhumidol is currently closed down, the BFAAI will be answering questions through an unarmed civilian PLD at one of the conference rooms at the Western Isles International District.
All foreign media is welcome to the event, as are foreign leaders and diplomats. There is no set time for nations and their people to arrive, however note that this conference is effective only for the next week ((in RT)) while the emergency border closing is in effect."

The 1st Force included the entire Vancouvian fleet less two destroyers, which remain in port. It also includes 50 squads VSF.
Several squads of VSF have already taken off in several C-130s and escort fighters, expected to reach Bhumidol airspace within a few hours.

The Tuernian Republic is deeply concerned with the events unfolding in the nation of Bhumidol. Accusations of human rights abuses and state-sanctioned murder are very troubling, as is the potential death and destruction that may be wrought by the cyclone. Due to Bhumidol's peculiar interpretation of diplomatic immunity, we have decided to cancel our plan to send an ambassador to Bhumidol. Until such time as we can be sure of our diplomats' safety in Bhumidol, we will conduct diplomacy through the Bhumidol embassy in Theveste.

The first VSF squads have touched ground in Bhumidol, immediately making camp and hunkering down on await of reinforcements. Approximately two dozen VSF squads have been strategically airdropped into Bhumidol, scattered around the countryside near potentially key areas. Assuming radio silence, casualties, if any, are currently unable to be fully determined by Vancouvian command.
The VSF squads have a rough night ahead of them. Their foxholes have been dug and they have begun their nightly watch rotations. Able to work as a completely separate unit for extended periods of time, the VSF squads are used to this kind of combat.
Meanwhile, the Vancouvian 1st Force and its fleet has passed through the I.D. waters in great pomp and circumstance, announcing their passage with a typical Vancouvian 72 gun salute. The fleet should arrive near Bhumidol waters tomorrow.

In addition, several rebel fighters under the flag of Free Bhumidol have been scouted and surveyed by roaming squads. VSF officers on the ground hope to link up with some of these freedom fighters tomorrow morning to being a large scale revolution against the tyrannical Bhumidol A.I.
Reports by the Vancouvian Espionage Organization (VEO) over the past few days have been confirming Vancouvian citizens' hopes that a majority of the Bhumidol populace would support a revolution.
