OVERVIEW:
Clányan Mercenary Divisions have been a fighting force in Clányad for many years, operating in private armies and, on occasion, the professional military from time to time. Widely considered to be made of some of the most capable fighters in the entirety of Clányad, our mercenaries are given the best training and armaments to get the job done. Well-versed in a range of modern military tactics, and led by only the most well-merited commanders available, Clányan Mercenaries are the best addition to any fighting force that could be offered. We'll fight in any war, near to no questions asked, and we'll fight bravely until the battlefield has been conquered and we stand victorious.
Located in our headquarters in Mántréigen, Clányad, we train our troops to survive in deserts, forests, snow-capped mountains, and any other condition imaginable on the planet. We train our troops to shoot-on-sight or be unheard and unseen. We train our troops to be the best - and we think you'll agree, they are.
With the impending addition of our naval and air privateers, we can ensure victory in the battles on land, sea and sky. Regular Infantry Units
Even the most friendly and inviting of terrain needs a special type of soldier to get the job done, and we offer just the thing. By far the most versatile of the troop units offered, these soldiers are ready to accept a placement nearly anywhere. From a coastal city to a field in a temperate climate, you can count on these troops to act independently and self-sufficiently. Receiving training in all the arts of war, a regular infantryman will not hesitate to see a mission through under any circumstances. Given extra training in fields such as tracking, hunting and gathering, as well as orienteering, these will make the best addition to any army force.

Desert Units
Our desert units have had training in many of Clányad's desert regions. They have been trained to survive for months on end without orders, with minimal supplies, and with only their own instincts, a gun by their side and a compass to get them to the objective. They are trained to move swiftly, never leaving a man behind, but moving forward to evade an enemy until the opportune moment comes to strike. They have been given a course of 9 months training in the strategies of commanders like Rommel and Kitchener, and the ability to set up camp, then take it down without leaving a trace. These men are fast - good for quick-paced wars in the deserts with little resistance. Put them in a theatre of war, and they'll make short work of any enemy forces you need dealt with.

Forest Units
Our forest units are amongst the best-trained of our entire force. These highly specialised troops are trained in all aspects of forest warfare. We choose only the most agile and athletic applicants for this prestigious role. During training, the average forest mercenary will be trained to climb a tree in under 20 seconds, how to make a fire in quick time, how to forage for food (and therefore know what food is poisonous or not) how to hunt and gather animals, how to set up a camp amongst the trees which will be almost undiscoverable by lesser-trained troops and how to use the loss of a weapon to their advantage. Trained in hand to hand combat for over six months of their excessive training record, with forest strategy and guerilla warfare taking another twelve months, you can rest assured that a forest unit can act independently of command for as long as needs be, and improvise as many ways as possible to demoralise and make sneak attacks on an enemy.

Snow and Tundra Units
When a country is seemingly inaccessible due to high sloping mountains capped with snow and ice, any ordinary army would turn back or spend an age trying to find a way through. Not our snow and tundra units. These troops have spent time in one of our special facilities. Located in the Canán mountain range to the East of Clányad, the Réigdál fortress is well-equipped to demoralise and test applicants for the position. But as they are tested in sub-zero conditions, they are becoming more accustomed to making hard decisions in cold climates, they are being taught in skiing, as well as Finnish military tactics from World War 2, they are learning the advanced theories of surviving the cold and making sure your enemy doesn't. They learn how to effectively sabotage enemy vehicles, as well as repair their own. They learn what it means to be a soldier in some of the harshest conditions, and how to survive on low rations and local wildlife. Coming standard with the unit are also three snowmobiles, for easy mobility through tough terrain. And should they need to escape from an area fast, the unit is equipped with parachutes.

Engineering and Tank Units
Should an enemy be coming towards you in force, it is sometimes necessary to meet them with equal or greater force. This comes in the form of our mercenary tank divisions. Guaranteed to turn the tide of battle, the Mark VII Đít tanks which come as standard are a force to be reckoned with. And should there be any other vehicles in your army needing repairs, the Engineering and Tank Unit has you covered, with engineering supplies and the training to fix almost all mechanical problems.

Mobile Units
Thanks to the innovations of Zeus Defense Industries, lighter armaments can now be mounted onto lighter vehicles than tanks, allowing for further mobility to and from the field of battle. Mobile Units are given the same excellent training as tank units, but with the advantage of much faster mobility, a less cumbersome design, and more carrying capacity. While these units are new additions to the Clányan Mercenary Divisions, we are sure that they will be good additions. Watch for more units.
