Just a question, btw. If someone tries to cross your planetary orbit, can you shoot them? As in intercept them while they're on their path with orbital/fleet weapons?
Oh shit, I think I made the rules confusing. Planetary orbit can mean:
- Orbit of a planet around the sun when counting fuel cost
- Orbit of a ship around a planet.
You cannot pass through Orbital sectors under enemy control but you can pass through planetary orbits (Orbits of planets around the sun) without any risk of being shot at.
Yes, You can intercept fleets that arrive at your planet before they can land any units on the surface.

Oh good. I was worried for a bit. You should probably make it so we can take two Quarters immediately, instead of one, since all we'll be doing for the first is traveling.

Oh, Right. Just post the quarterly reports up to the point you have an operational mine and I'll let you know what you find.
Just so that everyone knows how it works.
You'll probably find ore though.
TBH, I'm already on Quarter 7. I just assumed that I'd find Ore. Would you still like me to do it your way?

As if I could even deny you.
For your last stand, though. Does it happen to be inspired in any way by Dawn of War 2?

THank you, and partially it is. I usually did my own version in the original Dow by placing myself against 3 Brutal enemies and seeing how long I can survive with defensive tactics.
I just need to work out point costs for equipment and other things then I am ready to post WH40K:LS

May I suggest that, to make if feel more like a WH40K game, you use actual base rules? Not for movement or anything, but instead of health and armor have the standard BS:WS:T:S:Sv:whatever statline? It would also be cool if we used actual points and equipment, as well.

You guys realize that I'm a huge WH40K fanboy right? What is this 'WH40K:LS?'

You can make a Skitarri by using Techpriests as a basis and loading him up with combat stuff and I'll add some alternations, right now its at the beta stage of design.
