BOTA Superleague
4th Season

After a relatively long hiatus from the multiverse, the Superleague is back, with same teams. FPF decided to pull out of the COCANEFA due to internal issues within the FPF and the clubs of the Perlasilangani league, which has nothing to do with the COCANEFA. The FPF thanks the COCANEFA for allowing the Perlasilangani clubs to develop while in the LigAnaia football system.

Perlasilangani clubs have participated, along with Alitaban and Inglan clubs to form one entity - the Barangayan Overseas Territories Abroad (BOTA; Trigram BGT). However, the individual nations will still send clubs to their respective regional club competitions.

The deadline for entry to Champions’ Cup 59, Globe Cup 56, and Series B Champions’ Cup 56 is now confirmed to be 02:00 UTC on Monday, 2015-05-18.

The UICA Congress has ratified a number of changes to the regulations for UICA competitions, effective in season 60. These changes do not apply to entries for the current season, except for the changes to the UICA Disciplinary Code, which have immediate effect.

Youth Cup
  • Each association may enter its domestic youth champion to play in a new youth champions’ path, consisting of a series of knockout rounds, concurrent with the Champions’ Cup path, which will continue to be played under the existing format. Each association may choose the nature and format of its domestic youth championship, subject to UICA approval, though it is suggested that it be an under-18 competition. If the youth champion club’s senior team qualifies for the Champions’ Cup group stage, then the club will be withdrawn from the youth champions’ path to play in the Champions’ Cup path.
  • The eight winners from the youth champions’ path will enter a play-off round against the group runners-up from the Champions’ Cup path, with the youth champions playing at home. The winners of the play-off round will enter the eighth-finals against the group winners from the Champions’ Cup path, with the group winners playing at home.
  • Each club will be permitted to register up to three players aged 20 for the competition.
Series B Champions’ Cup entry
  • Each association will be entitled to enter only three teams in the Series B Champions’ Cup.
Titleholders
  • The Globe Cup titleholder is entitled to enter the Champions’ Cup. It will enter in the group stage if there is any vacancy, or in the play-off round non-champions’ path otherwise.
  • If the Champions’ Cup or Globe Cup titleholder qualifies for the Globe Cup through its domestic league, then its association will receive an additional place in the Champions’ Cup and vacate a place in the Globe Cup.
  • If the Champions’ Cup or Globe Cup titleholder fails to qualify for the Champions’ Cup or Globe Cup through its domestic league, then its association will receive an additional place in the Champions’ Cup.
  • Exceptionally, if the Champions’ Cup and Globe Cup titleholders are from the same association ranked 1–3 and both fail to qualify for the Champions’ Cup through its domestic league, then that association will be limited to five places in the Champions’ Cup, but will receive an additional place in the Globe Cup.
Globe Cup format
  • Sixteen teams will directly enter the Globe Cup group stage, including two teams from each association ranked 1–3 and one team from each association ranked 4–12. If, based on titleholder rules, an association is permitted to enter four teams in the Globe Cup, the extra team will enter the group stage. Vacancies are filled by the first-seeded teams of the next-highest-ranked associations.
  • No teams will enter directly in the qualifying round, except for the losing teams from the Champions’ Cup play-off round.
  • The third-placed entries of associations ranked 1–3 and second-placed entries of associations ranked 4–12 will receive priority access to the play-off round. The third-placed entries of associations 4–32 will receive priority access ahead of the second- and third-placed entries of all lower-ranked associations.
  • The draw for the eighth-finals will be fixed such that teams from the same association cannot meet.
Champions’ Cup seeding
  • The Champions’ Cup titleholder and champions of the seven highest-ranked associations (excepting the titleholder) are placed in pot 1 for the group stage draw. The other three pots are determined by the club coëfficient ranking.
Tiebreaking rules
  • In a group stage, three points are awarded for a win and one for a draw. If two or more teams finish with the same number of points, the following criteria decide their ranking:
    1. higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question,
    2. superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question,
    3. higher number of goals scored in the group matches played among the teams in question,
    4. higher number of goals scored away from home in the group matches played among the teams in question,
    5. superior goal difference,
    6. higher number of goals scored,
    7. higher number of goals scored away from home,
    8. higher number of wins,
    9. higher number of wins away from home,
    10. lower disciplinary points total based only on yellow and red cards received in all group matches (red card = 3 points, yellow card = 1 point, expulsion for two yellow cards in one match = 3 points),
      1. Champions’ Cup and Globe Cup: higher club coëfficient ranking,
      2. Series B Champions’ Cup and Youth Cup: drawing of lots,
      3. Super Cup: kicks from the penalty mark.
In the Super Cup, only criteria 1, 5, 6, and 11c apply.
Disciplinary Code
  • Players can no longer be suspended for the accumulation of cautions after the quarter-finals are completed.
  • Extending the existing conduct policies, clubs are now expressly prohibited from including offensive, insulting, or abusive language or statements of a non-sporting nature in their registered club name.

IdrottsLiga av Högklackat (Athletic League of High Heels)

1972

Fotboll av Högklackat, the football governing body within the ILH, report the results of the most recent season of official competition.

Long ago, before building the second tower collided with world affairs to produce economic woe and nearly scuttle the entire Högklackat experiment, Fotboll av Högklackat were associate members of the Paripana Sporting Council. While it is possible that reaffiliation will occur, for now ILH stands as an independent association and submits entries to UICA on that basis.

Fotboll-Pokal
The ILH football cup
The Fotboll-Pokal is contested by all 32 ILH-recognized clubs. It is a single-elimination event with single-leg ties, randomly drawn. Since all matches are played in the same two stadiums, one per tower, there is no need to account for home ground.

Draws in cup play are resolved using Högklackat overtime, a variant of "golden goal". The first team to score in overtime wins immediately. Overtime periods are 10 minutes each, with three minutes between periods, and the number of periods is by definition uncertain. In the first overtime period, teams play with a maximum of ten men on the pitch instead of eleven and one extra substitution becomes available. At the beginning of each subsequent overtime the maximum number of players is again reduced by one and the available substitutions again increased by one. This pattern is followed until a lower limit of six on the pitch per side is reached for the fifth and later overtimes and all substitutes are available.

To the administration of Saintland is Stupid FC,

I write in regards to your recent inquiries about the changes to the UICA Disciplinary Code. Our goal in making these changes is to help create an inclusive atmosphere in UICA competitions, where no one is harassed, abused, or excluded based on their race, sex, ideology, nationality, et cetera.

In your initial inquiry, you note that Sayntland is not an actual place. Indeed it is not, and consequently, it is quite transparent that you intend it as an alternative spelling of Saintland. Likewise, though you note that stoopid is not properly an English word, it is obviously a homophone of stupid, and the Omnilingual English Dictionary even tells of its use as a spelling of stupid in an indigenous Taeshani pidgin. Thus, this proposed name would merit the same sanctions under the UICA Disciplinary Code as the current one.

The name SIS FC, proposed in your second inquiry, is equally unacceptable; it is evidently a facile attempt to cloak an insulting name with abbreviation. SIS FC would, of course, be entirely acceptable for nearly any other club in the world; in this instance, however, you have created a context in which these initials cannot be read innocuously by any reasonable, informed observer.

The Control and Disciplinary Body would be delighted to develop extensive case law interpreting this clause of the Disciplinary Code, but we would prefer to be paid for our work. You could contact the Gregoryisgodistan FA about making a direct donation—they should have all the relevant payment details—or you could just press on until we get around to fining you for your vexatious behavior.

As a third option, you might consider simply adopting an inoffensive name. Think of it as a rebranding exercise, if you like. Flowers and Sunshine FC sounds nice, doesn’t it? Who doesn’t like flowers and sunshine? You can’t go wrong with that! Or maybe you’d prefer a name that properly conveys the principles and values of your club, as exemplified in this spat. In that case, may I suggest Incorrigible Eleven?

brb renaming my Sunday league team Incorrigible Eleven,
Jo Cline
Chairman, UICA Control and Disciplinary Body

SEASON REVIEW

Club-per-club Review
Image
Real Baoyam
Finishing position: 16th (relegated)

Despite the efforts of Joey Jardinico to keep the Rojiblancos up the first tier, their collapse at the final stretch of the season consigned them to bottom place. This club was another victim of the Second Season Syndrome, but the board decided to carry on with manager Mohammad Palomares. They must now find a way to keep their players - CF Sangti is reported to be interested in their top scorer.
Image
Tossan Saint Etudes
Finishing position: 15th (relegated)

Despite the appointment of Mack Bencito, Los Estudios failed to stay up the league. This is now the second time that the club suffered relegation from the top division. Like Real Baoyam, the club will stick to their manager, especially that this is a recently-installed manager. They could also retain the squad, with little interest generated for their "stars" as the club struggled all season long.
Image
Sangtiola Nandezfer
Finishing position: 14th (relegated)

Winning the second tier last season doesn't immediately translate to survival at their first season. Despite placing as high as seventh in the table, Sangtiola's abysmal form at the stretch costed them a spot in next season's TRBLiga Premier, and also costed Rey Luciano's job. Their next manager is yet to be named, with Ovid Tisang and Jerous Balili thrown into the mix for the next manager of this squad. It's early endseason and Balompie Mogya, who will be in the Premier next season, are already linked with a move for keeper Victorio Aliman, one of the few bright spots for the club.

It has also been learned that this season will be the final season of the Sangtiola name. They will be renamed Sporting Nandezfer next season, incorporating a complete overhaul of their club image.
Image
CF Vanie
Finishing position: 13th

Surviving at the last day of the league was the icing on the cake for Cyril Litonjua, who hopes to lead CF Vanie to greater heights next season. He has to keep hold of players for next season, as Cyrus Dimal is a subject of a move to Ryne Savio next season, and so is the club's top scorer Joel Francia. The striker admitted that he would want to move to Atletico Radi to link up with Niccolo Abundo.
Image
CD Viocla
Finishing position: 12th

Like CF Vanie, Julius Chaves has to be happy with his club's last day heroics. They ensured that top scorer Kristian Marabella will stay for the next season with a new contract, but interest from other clubs for Reynaldo Doquenia and Zako Csizmadia could derail their hopes for survival next season.
Image
Real Tiagosan
Finishing position: 11th

Another disappointing season for Monico Boncato's men. Boncato has announced his departure to Olympique Leonde after the season, the man replacing him was Rex Nery, effectively swapping clubs with him. The first task for Nery - keep Reimond Yparraguirre and Kid Marchadesch from interested parties - including Atletico Viocla, who wants a strike partner to Daren Corsiga and is willing to spend.
Image
Atletico Radi
Finishing position: 10th

Experts predicted a season of struggle for this club. But despite playing three matches behind closed doors, Niccolo Abundo's men managed to stay out of trouble this time, to finish a respectable 10th. They will be looking at spending cash to lure Joel Francia away from CF Vanie.
Image
Olympique Leonde
Finishing position: 9th

The club, now managed by Monico Boncato, will have their first task: find a replacement left back. Now that Gregorio Bautista's retired, Charleston Carag gets the captain's armband. They are interested in looking abroad for reinforcements at midfield and defense.
Image
Rambo Pesgem
Finishing position: 8th

Kossi Fiorentino did a wonderful job steering Rambo Pesgem from the bottom of the table to the bottom of the upper half of the table. However, they could cash-in on Josue Amio. The midfielder has a year left on his contract and signs indicate that he is inclined to leave for CF Sangti next season, but Real Cintore will need to look for a replacement winger for the retired Jared Anderson and has the money to spend. Then they could spend the money on improving the squad for a Globe Cup spot push next season.
Image
Atletico Viocla
Finishing position: 7th

Despite fielding the youngest manager in the league, Lorenzo Moralidad showed that he is a capable manager, carrying Los Violetas to stability at their first season at the top flight. They are looking for a complement to Daren Corsiga, as Russel Cruzate did not show that this season. Reimond Yparraguirre is a name that is constantly on the rumor mill that could go to Atletico Viocla. Another is Niel Conanan, but is unlikely to move due to the lack of multiversal competition.
Image
Real Nonasa
Finishing position: 6th

Losing out to Carrubonieta Il Gueti is painful for Real Nonasa, however, they will get to keep their core players, and hopefully would add more to the club. Interested for Kid Marchadesch, Los Craneos Hierro are also looking to bolster their strike options.
Image
Carrubonieta Il Gueti
Finishing position: 5th (Globe Cup)

Despite falling short of the Cup, Luigi Nicolas' men are optimistic of their chances next season. The only concern for them is the reduction of investment by the Iscrachi Group after their founding of Sporting Sangti. The group had been very vocal of relocating this club to Sangti, but public outcry led to the group investing on Novus of Gloriax (no longer investing), and the founding of SPS. However, the CEO has said that they keep on improving Carrubonieta as a whole. Alex Ford will leave the club and will return to Super-Llamaland. The same could be said for Quinten Zermin. The Buyanese has been retired from multiversal football and time will tell whether he will hang his boots at the near future. They could even join the race for Josue Amio.
Image
Deportivo Nespa
Finishing position: 4th (Globe Cup)

This season has been disappointing for John Utanes. After winning the title last season, Los Islenos only managed to finish fourth, their worst finish in the league. However, the management decided to keep on and put all their trust to the young manager. Investment is coming to this club, despite rumors that Goal Blossom is returning to her home Equestrian States next season. They are joining the hunt for strikers, and one of their priorities is either Niel Conanan or Reimond Yparraguirre, with the latter poised on joining Atletico Viocla instead. Or they could go to the multiversal market again to look for players.
Image
Gabelona
Finishing position: 3rd (Globe Cup)

After a strong performance that netted them the top Barangayan seed for the Globe Cup, Gabelona will look to spend on foreign players to bolster their frontline. Their aging duo of Emmanuel Ono and BJ Uy prompted the club to invest money and purchase a foreign player. They are also interested on bringing foreign-based Barangayan Marco Escuro from the Felixian League.
Image
Racing Xinghua Baoyam
Finishing position: 2nd (CUP CHAMPIONS, Champions' Cup, Cygnus Cup, CEdC)

This club will be busier than the champions as they have the Cygnus Cup on their schedule. They will also be busy on the transfer front, as they will look to bolster their faltering defense. As with other clubs, they will look at foreign prospects, but available players on the defensive end are limited. They are also looking at Bernard Taguiam from Atletico Radi.
Image
Real Cintore
Finishing position: 1st (CHAMPIONS, Champions' Cup, CEdC)

The champions have a busy transfer window ahead of them. They desire to improve their fullback and winger, after Jared Anderson joined their coaching staff after retirement, and the name who is linked with this club all season long is Josue Amio. The Barangayan international is looking on a way out of Rambo Pesgem as soon as possible or as soon as CF Sangti is promoted to the top tier. The club will look to move swiftly, as that event could happen as early as the next season ends.

The Royal Barangay (TRB) final site bids
Image
Globe Cup 56: Nuevo Campamento (Gabel, TRB; capacity 51,000)
Tenants: Gabelona (TRBLiga Premier club)
Directions from the airport: Take the instructed route to the Barangayan North Expressway. Go through the terminus at Cadomer and enter the REVONNE Expressway, then go out at the Gabel exit and follow the road signages to the stadium.
Details: One of the largest stadiums in the Royal Barangay, Nuevo Campamento is Gabelona's home stadium, with one World Cup qualifier match played at it. That match however sparked the most violent of riots in the nation, when Barangayan fans clashed with the supporters of the Sovan Antithesis. This caused the stadium to lose its hosting rights of the national team (prompting to move the match against Aquitayne in Baoyam) until the International Firestorm Cup IV, when En Avant Nice-Royes of Northern Sunrise Islands faced Dubrack's Town Celtic of Albaie in the Round of 32. When TRB and Buyan won hosting rights of the Campionato, the then 32,000 capacity stadium was renovated, adding 19,000 (initially 13,000) seats to its current capacity of 51,000. The stadium witnessed the German American States beating Paradystopia in the Barangayan half of the semifinal of the CEIX.

Image
Series B Champions' Cup 56: Nueva Estadio de Isla Nespa (Nespa, TRB; capacity 45,000)
Tenants: Deportivo Nespa (TRBLiga Premier club)
Directions from the airport: Take the instructed route to the Barangayan North Expressway. Go through the terminus at Cadomer and enter the REVONNE Expressway. go through the terminus at Nespa exit and follow the road signages to the stadium.
Details: The 45000 capacity stadium is one of the state of the art stadiums in the Royal Barangay, with artificial grass, VIP boxes, electronic adboards and scoreboards, and a retractable roof. The stadium is situated in the border of the Nespa and Ryne provinces. The stadium hosted a round of 16 match between Uitbregen and Noburu Taiyou in the CEIX.

Image
Cygnus Cup 34: Estadio de los Verdes Prados (Cintore, TRB; capacity 55,000)
Tenants: Real Cintore (TRBLiga Premier club)
Directions from the airport: Take the instructed route to the Respaña-Pranse Expressway. Go out at the second Viocla exit and into the REVONNE Expressway, then go out at Cintore exit and follow the road signages to the stadium.
Details: Known as "El Estadio Verde" in Cintore, due to its green exterior, and green lighting at night. The stadium was an integral part of the International Firestorm Cup IV, where it hosted a quarterfinal match and some group stage matches. The stadium hosted National Team matches regularly since then. After the IFSC, the then 21,000-capacity stadium underwent a major renovation, adding an entire tier (making it three), with 24,000 (initially 13,000) seats and modernizing the amenities such as VIP boxes and electronic adboards, and also installed green lighting in it (not only 'environmentally sound aspects', but also green colored lighting!), bringing it to a seating capacity of 55,000. The stadium hosted a quarterfinal of the Campionato Esportiva IX, with GAS beating Uitbregen, 2-0.

Image
Campionato Esportivano di Campeones XVI: Estadio Olimpico (Sangti, TRB; capacity 100,000)
Tenants: The Royal Barangay National Football Team, Konsehong Pampalakasan ng Maharlikang Barangay
Directions from the airport: Take the avenue going towards Calle Deportes. When at Calle Deportes, go about three blocks, and there is the stadium. This stadium is very near to StadiumSangti. Alternatively, there are buses that go directly from the airport to the stadiums in the capital.
Details: This newly built stadium was originally designed by Kytleran company BNW Varin. However, the inability of the company to built the stadium in time for the World Cup 66 qualifiers meant that the contract had to be passed to other capable companies. The local builder company Vilalobos Corp stepped up and constructed the stadium in time for the World Cup 67 Qualifiers. This stadium took over hosting of national team matches and hosting of the Copa del Barangay final and Supercopa Maharlika from Estadio Ferdinand Marcos, now known as StadiumSangti. The 100,000 capacity stadium has goal line technology installed in the natural grass pitch. Since this is a relatively new stadium, the government of Mazda Senina invested heavily in installing up to date amenities and technologies for the stadium, and since the assassination of the old supremo, security has been improved, with 3,000 CCTV cameras surrounding the stadium. This stadium hosted the final of the ninth Campionato Esportiva, with Taijan lifting the trophy after their 5-4 extra time win over German American States.

The Prinslig Soltse Föudballbünd, attempting to capitalise on the popularity of club football in Soltsteed and fill the absence of a Soltese league, has asked football fans from across the city-state of Soltsteed to found clubs to participate in the first season of the Prinse Ligon ("Prince’s League"). Eight clubs have ultimately taken up the call, though one was nearly denied entry due to its overly silly and allegedly drug-induced name.

The eight clubs will first compete in the Prinse Koppon, a knockout cup designed to generate interest in the new league from Solts. The winner will enter the Cygnus Cup and the Globe Cup (unless it qualifies for the Champions’ Cup). The quarterfinals and semifinals will be randomly drawn and take place over two legs, while the final will be a one-off game to take place at a neutral venue. The away goals rule operates at the end of regulation time only in the quarterfinals and semifinals; all ties level on aggregate at the end of extra time are resolved by a penalty shoot-out.

Prinse Koppon Quarterfinal Leg 1
Heekdorf Klub 1–0 FK Helig Krösch
FK Nüveldorf 3–1 FK Savinge
Prinslig Veelhaim 1–1 Ält-Kirken Klub
FK Vengelo 2–2 SIS FC

Prinse Koppon Quarterfinal Leg 2
FK Helig Krösch 1–1 aet Heekdorf Klub (Heekdorf Klub advances 2–1 on aggregate)
FK Savinge 1–1 FK Nüveldorf (FK Nüveldorf advances 4–2 on aggregate)
Ält-Kirken Klub 0–5 Prinslig Veelhaim (Prinslig Veelhaim advances 6–1 on aggregate)
SIS FC 0–0 FK Vengelo (SIS FC advances 2–0 on away goals)

Prinse Koppon Semifinal Leg 1
FK Nüveldorf 4–2 Heekdorf Klub
Prinslig Veelhaim 1–0 SIS FC

Prinse Koppon Semifinal Leg 2
Heekdorf Klub 1–0 FK Nüveldorf (FK Nüveldorf advances 4–3 on aggregate)
SIS FC 2–2 Prinslig Veelhaim (Prinslig Veelhaim advances 3–2 on aggregate)

Prinse Koppon Final @ Näsionaalpärk, Veelhaim Parish
Prinslig Veelhaim 1–0 FK Nüveldorf

As predicted by pundits before the season began, Prinslig Veelhaim won the final of the Prinse Koppon on home ground against FK Nüveldorf, though most were left disappointed that SIS FC and Prinslig Veelhaim had to meet in the semifinals. With a guaranteed Globe Cup berth, Prinslig Veelhaim solidified their place as the favourites to win the first Prinse Ligon.

However, it was not meant to be for the club. Despite claiming victory on the first day of the league, Prinslig Veelhaim immediately started to struggle, with their loss to SIS FC in Week 3 ultimately being the death knell for the club. With the win, SIS FC took the lead and kept it through the rest of the season. Having drawn against their rivals at home and Prinslig Veelhaim only able to tie on points, SIS FC successfully clinched the title with a week to go in the season. The draw against FK Helig Krösch gave SIS FC an undefeated season and a clear ticket to the Champions’ Cup as Soltsteed’s first representative in the competition, while Prinslig Veelhaim was forced to settle for second and a ticket to the Globe Cup. On the other side of the table, the winless FK Helig Krösch secured the first wooden spoon of the Prinse Ligon with their Week 12 loss to Ält-Kirken Klub, unable to overtake Heekdorf Klub in the standings.

Before the Prinslig Soltse Föudballbünd submits its qualifiers list, we would like to assure UICA in light of the recent controversy over the Gregoryisgodistani club "Saintland is Stupid FC" [name reproduced without endorsement of contents] that the Soltese club "SIS FC" does not derive its name from any malicious or unsporting phrase. For the potentially unaware, "SIS FC" stands for "Skiff-in-Strase Football Club", which translates to "boat in street". For the sceptical UICA official, this bilingual dictionary should confirm said translation.

For the curious, the founders of the club were allegedly high on lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) before the start of the season and decided to name their club after the resultant hallucination, which involved a boat floating in their street. The Royal Soltese Football Federation refused to register "Skiff-in-Strase FC" and attempted to have the owners name the club something more fitting of a sporting team, though they were insistent on the abbreviation "SIS FC". We apologise for any inconveniences in advance, though the club owners did ask us to recommend their dealer if any UICA officials are interested in a trip to Soltsteed.

Best wishes,
Aleksänder Mätsson
General Secretary of the Royal Soltese Football Federation

Xzyxrouw (XZX) final site bids
Series B Champions' Cup: Mhexeqahryna, Mhexeq g'Ooghuz'mehmemeh (capacity: c.70,000 but no allocated seating.)

Image
Official home ground of Mhexeq g'Ooghuz'mehmemeh XK but often used by other teams for matches, the Mhexeqahryna is the only stationary football pitch in Xzyxrouw. Due to the nomadic tendencies of the other clans, Xatz teams generally meet up prior to a scheduled match to decide where to play. Usually at this point it is customary to bicker, argue and sometimes fight until a concensus is reached or everyone gets bored. These 'discussions' have been known to take up to a fortnight before, thus requiring the match to be rescheduled and the onset of a further round of 'discussions'.*

The Mhexeqahryna itself boasts two adequately-sized changing rooms (recommended maximum capacity of seven persons in each.), one Xati toilet room (a small room with a scattering of sandy soil on the floor) and a washroom with one 'working' shower (providing you like showering in a cold dribble) and a wash-basin (a leaky bucket three-quarters-filled with cold water).

*OOC: It can be assumed that the locations for any UICA home legs for teams from Xzyxrouw have already been decided. It can also be assumed that these locations are unlikely to be anything more elaborate than a mostly-level tract of grass with lines hastily etched upon it and a goal at either end.

OOC: Hello, I would like to inform you about the IC successor of Estenia, Nizov. I would like it if all the coefficient points I have collected as Estenia to be moved here, thanks.

IC:

Nizovski Sports Association, Murin, Nizov
1200 Local Time
Weather: Partially cloudy, 39% chances of raining, 27 degress celsius

The streets of Murin, the capital fo Nizov were full of protestors/supporters of the Estenian association football teams, now that Nizov was created, they needed to transform the stats into Nizovski Premier League stats. Something that the 10 day old government hasn't done yet, even after this ruthless civil war which has torn the Nizovski economy completely, but has kept Murin in tact, even after all those bombardments. The only hopes for survival of the economy, are the revenews from the Nizovski Premiership and the teams that will compete in international competitions. Finally, the President of the Republic Andriy Lubiansky has allowed the FADN or else known as Futbulski Associj Di Nizov to formally send the UICA the application to rejoin as Nizov under the trigramme of NIZ. The president of the association named Igor Globariev, started writing the formal message towards UICA, waiting for the acceptance of the new nation, which was also recognised by several other nations.

Message from the Futbulski Assosij di Nizov
To: Union of International Club Associations

Greetings, I am the President of the newly found Futbulski Assosij di Nizov, the football association of the newly created country of Nizov and after recent protests on the streets of the capital of Murin, president Lubiansky of Nizov has given a full permission to all the sports associations of Nizov to compete in international competitions and decide the fates of the teams themselves which is also the reason why our football association is sending this formal message towards you to formally allow or disallow us to compete on international competitions. A second reason why we are doing this is the small legacy the Estenian teams have left on international ground recently and as a successor nation, it is our job to continue as the time passes. If you allow us to compete on international comeptitions we will compete under the trigramme of NIZ. We would also like to inform you that the same teams that have participated in the Estenian Meistriliiga last year will participate on the Nizovski Premier League next season.

Signed,

Igor Globariev
I'm Estenia so please put all the ranks of Estenia to this nation.

With the ongoing communication outages due to the unexplained geological activity in the Vilitan Cove region, the Football Associations of Vilita & Turori have iterated their desire to have representation from their associations at the upcoming UICA competitions. Should the results of the most recently completed season not reach the UICA offices in time, the Football Association(s) would request the admission of the most recent set of qualified entrants; attached for reference.

UICA Qualifiers:
Vilita (VIL) qualifiers
Primary association.
Champions Cup: Jungle Strike FC, Turoki United, Makosile
Globe Cup: Eastal Lunar, Turoki Tide, Marine Coast United, Tropicorp FC
Series B Champions Cup: Inland Peaks, Alikki-Corra, Lonngeylin Coast, Arcticala Inlet, Yeaddin Owls

Turori (TUR) qualifiers
Primary association. Puppet of Vilita.
Champions Cup: Cednia Beach, [Mliona-Lpaka]
Globe Cup: Mliona-Lpaka, FC Almintora, [Kionao Locals, Cednia Rovers]
Series B Champions Cup: Kionao Locals, Sokattack Mliona, Cednia Rovers [Wunokalsa Waridi, Cedniavella]

Other International Qualifiers:
Cygnus Cup: Turoki United (VIL)

AOCL: Jungle Strike FC (VIL), Cednia Beach AFC (TUR)

Vilita (VIL) final site bids

Champions Cup: Lonngeylin Coliseum - Lonngeylin, Vilita (115,500 Seated) - 141,000 Standing Room
The Coliseum is one of the oldest, but most expansive stadiums in Vilita. The Home of Vilitan club Strike FC, the stadium has undergone several renovations, name changes and expansions in its long history, which includes being a knockout venue for the World Cup 17 and 31 finals. The Coliseum is known for its unique hillside accommodation, boasts one of the most impressive match atmospheres in the region. Typically, only the home fans are allowed in the south and east areas, which include both hillside seating and open hillside that can accommodate an approximately 30,000 additional fans beyond the seated capacity - depending on how far away from the stadium they wish to prop themselves. Away fans are always seated in the west grandstand.

Globe Cup: Tropicorp Park, Tropicoast, Tropicorp (72,000)
Tropicorp Park is home to the Tropicorp Cup, the four team, 2 day grand-finale of the Tropicorp Lower League. The competition has served as an outstanding warmup to test the hospitality available at Tropicorp Park, and was critical in the build up to the decision to allow the finals of the Eagle's Cup V competition to take place in Tropicorp, the first major international competition of any kind to be held in Tropicoast.

Now, Tropicorp officials are now looking to expand the portfolio of events held at the Park. While their preference would be to adapt the already-succesful Tropicorp Cup format to hosting the UICA Super Cup, it has been decided that the Globe Cup would be a more appropriate place to put forth the still-young stadium for consideration.

Cygnus Cup: Tivali Ring Stadium, Alikki-Corra (87,000 Seated)
The Football Association of Vilita is based at the Tivali-Ring Stadium in the capital city of Alikki-Corra, Vilita and many National Team training sessions take place on the grounds of the Tivali Ring. The Football Association regularly schedule matches at arenas throughout Vilita, especially bigger matches as many of the stadiums that host Stellar Division and UICA competition matches have expanded far beyond the capacity of the National Stadium at Tivali Ring, which is used only for the National Team, and, for the Vilitan Cup Final and Tropical Trophy matchup. In addition to its World Cup matches, 'The Ring' hosted the 40th UICA Series 'B' Champions Cup Final. The stadium was constructed as part of the Vilitan bid to host the World Cup 14 Cup of Harmony as a replacement to the former National Stadium in Lopinka that was destroyed during a regional conflict.

After being runner up in the voting to host multiple previous UICA finals including the previous UICA Champions Cup final, The UICA Champions Cup trophy was finally listed at the home of the Vilitan National Team for its 55th edition.

Turori (TUR) final site bids

Globe Cup: Iobabao Legendary Park (90,500 Seated)
The rising success of Mliona-Lpaka in the modern era of the Vilitan League necessitated the renovation of the old Mliona Park stadium to improve not only capacity but quality of experience as it was no longer just locals but foreign visitors and clubs travelling to Turori to visit the stadium. While some funding came from the clubs success, others came from Turorian Tourism funding to ensure visiting fans wanted to come back to Turori after their first impressions. After the renovations were complete, the stadium was renamed after former Mliona-Lpaka and Turori Eels star Kaboafo Iobabao.

Series B Champions Cup: Kionao Minor Field, Kionao (capacity 88,000)
Kionao Locals would make 88,000 tickets available for the event, per their proposal, which includes the installation of a large video board for the match in the location where over 20,000 standing room only tickets are currently sold on matchdays. Other stadium improvements include a large pen where some Cocoabos will be on display to help raise awareness for the plight of the Cocoabo.

Omerica (OME) site bid
Series B Champions’ Cup/Youth Cup: Arena la Rouge, Philibiscostal (capacity 66,000)
Image

Named after Jean-Jacques la Rouge, the founder of the city of Philibiscostal, the Arena la Rouge is the hallowed ground of Omerican football. "The Crown Jewel", as it is affectionately called by the locals, is best known for playing home to United Philibiscostal, the most decorated club in modern Omerican football history, along with the finals of the Federation Cup whenever Philibiscostal is not involved. The stadium also plays home to the Turanga ʻAhipula ʻo ʻOmerika, the governing body of Omerican football, and hosts most home games of the Omerican national side.

Blood-gushing Omericans will drone on with tales of the stadium’s history, having hosted memorable international games against Nephara, Quebec and Nova Anglicana and the Federation Cup final that put Royal Michaeltown on the map. The amenities of the stadium, including numerous restaurants and a nature trail right outside the near-sea stadium and free Wi-Fi within it, are also a point of pride to the locals. Fans and players will also be able to enjoy the retractable roof, several lounges within the stadium grounds and air-conditioning in the case of overly hot weather, a real possibility in Omerica.

An all-seater stadium since its inauguration in 2010, the stadium is located in the peripheral Côte Rouge district and enjoys its own station on the Philibiscostal Metro leading to just outside the gates. With travel time between the stadium and the centre of the city being about twelve minutes on the Metro and a number of bus links connecting the stadium to the Arthur Bates International Airport and restaurants and hotels around Omerica’s largest city, players and fans will be able to enjoy a city-wide infrastructure ready to host the Series B Champions’ Cup and Youth Cup finals.

Season Recap
1 - Llara Llera - Llara Llera, sometimes considered the "second banana" of San Lleran domestic soccer, finally won a championship this year. The Llarans won consistently throughout the course of the season, only losing once over the course of the 28 matches, to go along with 6 draws. They also bested longtime rivals Llerana SC by gaining 4 points from their 2 matches, finishing 9 points ahead of them for the title. Llara Llera were led by 19-year-old midfielder Enric Bou, who led the league in assists this season. Bou had the innate ability to control matches from his spot in the center of the field, and he set up 18 goals with that ability. But Llara Llera's biggest strength was its defense. Llara Llera gave up a league-low 17 goals behind a strong back line led by Sergi Batista, Hugo Serda, as well as the goalkeeping abilities of new transfer Marcel Fons. Rounding out a balanced roster was rising star Oscar Potus. "The President" scored most of the goals for Llara Llera with his clever ability to make runs behind the defense and hook up with Enric Bou. In fact, 14 of Bou's 18 assists were to Potus, a fact which made manager Antonio Durazno very happy. Durazno was happy a lot this season.

2 - Llerana SC - 2nd place and an 18-6-4 record aren't exactly bad, but Llerana SC fans have to be disappointed in their club. They lost out to eternal rivals Llara Llera, and finished the season 9 points out the 1st place spot Llara Llera occupied. With all the money Llerana's owners are spending to pay superstars Don Llorens and Andreu Mallet to play for their club, fans should expect more. Llorens and Mallet had good seasons, of course: they combined for 37 goals and 23 assists. But there was something so lackadaisical about the way Llerana played that drove fans mad. Chimo Fons and Josep Montella had disappointing seasons. Alexandre De Gonia spent most of his time suspended, and Llerana's group of foreigners didn't live up to their billing. Even legendary manager Jan Casallerus was rumored to be on the hot seat despite being the most decorated coach in San Lleran history, occupying a very cold seat on Llerana's bench for 31 years, a mark of just how frustrated Llerana was.

3 - Chell SC - Even Chell's notoriously arrogant and delusional fans have to be satisfied with this finish. Chell, a club who''s chance of not qualifying for a cup was more likely than the opposite, stayed in the title hunt for most of the season. Chell blew away expectations by losing only 6 games and winning 18. They were helped by a great season from rising superstar Hector Fonda, who led the league in tackles, interceptions, and overall SoccerRatings.llr rating (Soccerratings.llr is a very respected source of statistics in San Llera). Beside Fonda was Guifre Gil, who improved as the season went on, and Equation left winger Pelechamchas. Didac Escutia also had a breakout season in goal, finally earning some consistent clean sheets en route to only 26 goals given up in 28 games. The season finally confirmed Chell fans' claims about just how good their team was.

4 - Cremando Llera - Another team which will be happy with their performance is Cremando Llera, a team whose stadium can't even be reached by road. Representing a small village in the heart on the Cremando mountains, Cremando Llera only plays players from that village of no more than 5,000 residents. You'd think that Cremando Llera would be awful, but it is one soccer-crazed village. Cremando Llera is led by striker Marcel Bens, but it is very balanced with players like Octavio Bens, Raul Mesita, Agustus Bensa, and Carlo Hasando. Cremando Llera's shockingly good 16-6-6 record was enough for their coach, the town judge, to earn Coach of the Year honors.

5 - Pantans - In 5th, missing out on a postseason spot, is Pantans. Despite Carles Mestre leading the league in goals scored with 32, Pantans's passionate fanbase was upset with what they saw this year. New Telstian recruits Daniel Bernelli and Adam Chase failed miserable in their inaugural season, a season tainted by the ownership going through 3 coaches. The end of the year brought some bright spots; manager Joan Campos finally seemed to be the right fit, but it wasn't nearly enough to quell the vile taste in Pantans fans' mouths.

6 - Amici Llano - Amici Llano, a well-funded team made up of the friends of Great Leader Alejandro Llano, doesn't have any good players to speak of, but they got some generous calls from referees as they always do.

7 - Patria Poble - One of the biggest shocks of the season was the frankly atrocious late-season play of Patria Poble. After a bright start, Patrian fans had a fairly reasonable hope for a title, but it came crashing down on them about 16 games in. The club's co-captains, Antoni Belles and Alejandro Turro, stopped producing all of a sudden. They somehow lost 9 games during the season, a season of high hopes. This, along with 7 draws, gave them a measly 43 points

8 - AS Mantegapa - The only so far that has met expectations, more or less, is AS Mantegapa. Martini Saragosa was very good, and his supporting cast wasn't, just as everybody expected.

9 - Porta Llora could have done slightly better with their assortment of foreign players, but nobody was devastated by a 39-point showing.

10 - San Llera University of Physiology Soccer Team - As one might expect, the San Llera University of Physiology is one of the better athletic schools. This year, they had the best soccer team. SLUP was atrocious most of the season, but puzzlingly went on several runs in which they accumulated 9 wins.

11 - San Llera University of Linguistics Soccer Team - More consistent was the SLUL, but they couldn't muster enough offense to finish in the top 10. Gerard Quella, however, anchored their back line, helping them give up just 25 goals.

12 - Camp Pende - This entirely foreign team is made up of illegal immigrants who were too good at soccer to be deported. However, they weren't good enough to finish in the top 10.

13 - Familia Llano almost certainly would be in last place if it weren't for the refs.

14 - San Llera University of Archeology Soccer Team - SLUA were bad as expected.

15 - San Llera University of Chemistry Soccer Team - See above.

Therefore, San Llera's entries to various club tournament are as follows:
San Llera (SAN) Qualifiers:
Champions Cup: Llara Llera
Globe Cup: Llerana SC, Chell SC, and Cremando Llera
