Montconnt looked down the hill and saw the army of savages. He yelled "OPEN FIRE!" At his men and he quickly got in to his military grade motor cycle and drove up the hill.

Montconnts opening fire killed at least 10 enemies, but that appeared to be it. He ordered another opening fire at them.

Before Azan could speak with the metal man, he heard one of man's rolling steeds, and drew his sword. The metal man ducked in front of one of the flaming buildings, and drew his fire stick. Ravvis drew his own sword, and mounted his Vaethis, a black wolf named Cathel.
"Are these yours, metal man?" Yelled Azan
"No, I can't say that they are. My intel tells me they Nicholian."
Azan ran to his own mount, the alpha of the Vaethis pack, an abnormally large wolf by the name of Raull. He yelled out to his men, who were not noticing the enemy in their pleasure.
"The rolling steeds are upon us! Mount your steeds and steal the weak! Rai'Oih!"
As the men charged, the enemies R†hul yelled something unintelligible, and their fire sticks launched their fire ball, and Azan watched his men fall to the heathen's sorcery. As he surged into the heathen men’s fronts, he launched himself from his mounts and brought his fist down upon the nearest warrior. Raull started ripping through flesh, and Azan could hear the men’s screams as they were torn down.
Azan brought his fist down upon the nearest man, and he immediately went down like a sack of rocks. The next man swung his gun as Azan, who ducked beneath its strike, and reached up to grab the man by the throat, squeezing until he felt the man’s throat crack, as Azan held off another man by bringing his hand down on the man’s chest knocking him down. Another man launched a fire stick at him, and got him in the shoulder. It bounced off his armor, denting it. This upset Azan. He punched the man in the throat, wrapped his hands on the man’s head, and snapped his neck. The other heathen men were falling quickly to his warriors, and their R†hul was hiding behind his remaining warriors.
It was customary for one R†hul to die by another’s hand. Azan knew, Ravvis wanted his position as R†hul. If he allowed the heathen leader to die by any other hand, it would cause ripples in his command, and Azan had worked too far to allow that to happen. He unsheathed his sword, and made a charge through their defenses. Men fell, and bones crunched. The stench of blood was in the air, and Azan’s left eye was blinded through the gore of intestines and blood.
Soon he reached the heathen R†hul, and kicked him to the ground. He used one hand to grab the man’s hair, and reached another under the man’s chin. By using his leg to keep the struggling man down, he tore, with all his strength, and ripped the man’s head from his shoulders.
With victory in hand, he reached up his enemy’s head, and his men burst into cheers. The battle was won. When wasn’t it? He was the Rider, the god of battle reincarnated.

The metal man had just split a man’s throat, and was now leaning against a tree. His eyes seemed to be analyzing him, appearing to dissect his soul. Azan walked towards him, and threw the R†hul’s head to the wolves. They’d need their strength for the upcoming battles.

23 survivors(none of them Montconnt) ran away In a humvee and left for good, scared by the atrocities of those robo-freaks and their primitive allies. They carried the body of Montconnt with them to bury a fitting leader in a fitting way. They also carried with them many stories of war. The battle they left would be immortalised as Montconnt's Last Stand.

The 23 miserable survivors made their way to Fort Saint Conus. Message was sent to the Hexagon of their defeat. They were not pleased with this report. The Hexagon immediately sent 10,000 soldiers to the south-west(where the battle took place) In order to respect Montconnt, the new fort in the south-east that was being built was to be named Fort Montconnt and he was to be buried there. Also, a new statue was to be erected in his honor in front of the Arc de Perseverance. He was also to be named "Defender of Liberty and Justice"

Major General Fredont was devastated by the loss of his friend Marshall-Lieutenant Montconnt. He said to General Fredrick Lucia "We have loss our confidence, our arrogance, our attitude, this day."

c16-126129-3 was incredibly impressed with the savage’s performance in the battle. Especially their leader, who went by the name of Azan. The savage was a monster of a man, and a scan of his body composition showed that he was 7’1, 300 pounds, with a 1.2% body fat. The savage was a beast in human skin. Their wolves were another point of interest, but that would be discussed later. As c16-126129-3 tried to contact the savage leader, he rode off on his giant beast. With an inquiry to his escort, Ravvis, he discovered that the savage was taking his hordes to attack the Nicholian royal palace. Further inquiry told him that the hordes consisted of two and a half million warriors, all who thought that an ancient deity of war would take them to paradise if they died in battle. All was good. This little skirmish was almost won.

"YOUR MOST EXCELLENT MAJESTY, WE HAVE DIRE NEWS, HORDES TOPPLING OVER 2 MILLION ARE HEADING TO THIS PALACE!" said said Commander of the Guard, Jorge de Satbleu."2 million savages! Get all available troops on top of the mountains and hills so we can have an advantage at least! Get out tanks, rocket launchers and Armored Cars ready!" yelled the king. "As well as soldiers." 125,000 soldiers came and prepared the mountain palace for war. Thankfully the Palace was in the mountains and was well protected. 300 T 62-A's appeared quickly and 250 St. Thomas Tanks appeared as well. 56 George the Diviner rocket launchers appeared as well. and at least 200 BTR-70's appeared and were now preparing.

As Azan lead his horde through the day, he walked with the sun. They would be there at the end of the day, hopefully while the sun was still up. Raull was getting hungry, and would soon need to hunt. Ravvis was at his side, on his own wolf, and the rest of his men were on his heels. Each mounted on their own wolf, each armored in steel plates, each a trained, ruthless warrior born into the arts of war. This was his own personal horde. If things went awry, which there was very little chance they would, he could simply go home and retrieve hundreds of millions of screamers to storm their kingdoms. Luckily for Azan, the god of war was on his side.
Soon, when the fires of man meet the sky, the reign of the current Rider would come to an end, and Azan had been trained to take over. He would mount the sun, and he would separate the weak from the strong, and claim all of existence as his spoils. He was hoping this would be the battle that would create the cleansing fires. The body count would have to be immense to cause such a holy purging, and he was willing to create the mounds of body.
He and his men found themselves marching through the countryside, purging all the cities and villages they saw. Their own body count was minimal, while the enemy's was immense. They faced few warriors, and Azan was hoping that this was a sign that all of their men would be at the palace. This was a good sign. The fires of warriors burn brighter than those of the feeble.

Come the end of the day, Azan saw the mountains where their palace was located. His men set up a camp near the entry towards the valley and they set their wolves out to hunt. The nearby prey population would decrease exponentially, with nigh on two million wolves hunting in the forests. That didn't matter, at this point, as they would soon feast on man flesh. When the wolves returned, they would set their eyes on the royal palace, and revenge would be held in the hands of the war child.

"There they are! Fire!" Yelled Major General Luis Philpa yelled. 100,000 soldiers fired at once ate the wolf mutants. And hopefully at least 20,000 fell.

The wolves were being shot down, and Azan watched as his men's mounts fell. Raull was by his side, chewing on a chunk of a cow, but he lurched to his feet as soon as he heard the fire sticks. Azan jumped onto Raull's back, looked back to his men, and gave a battle cry. His men yelled back in unison, and they all let go a loud whistle to summon their mounts back. As Azan charged towards to the mountain palace, he heard and felt the heathen fire sticks launching near him and launching up clods of dirt, although nothing major scathed him. He took this as a sign that the Rider had blessed his crusade, and urged Raull to run faster. As they entered the mountain valley, fire sticks were launching and men were falling.
Luckily, his warriors had joined with him. They used their crossbolts, even though they were a weapon for womenfolk, to take down their far away enemies. The crossbolt was a cross bow like weapon, that launched a steel ball at their victim, which easily tore through flesh and muscle. Azan continued on, crushing through any man that got in his way. Soon, he saw the palace, and that was his main focus.
As he stood on the hill, staring down at the residence of his enemy, he took a torch to the grass beneath him. It light quickly, spreading throughout the valley. Luckily, the wolves' thick fur would more or less protect his warriors from the flames, while the heathen men would find themselves purged. Things were going in Azan's favor, but it didn't matter either way. The Rider has given his blessing, and no mortal man could stand in his way.

A soldier threw a cross at the heathen savages. The battle was getting more tense by the second. The tanks fired at the wolves, One by one the wolves were now falling to the shells.

As Azan watched his warriors and their mounts fall, the worst happened. One of the fire sticks hit him, and threw him from his mount. Raull released a howl, and tore his assailant's throat out. Using his massive head to lift Azan back onto his back, he realized now was not the time for victory. The Rider had given voice to his crusade, and he deemed the hordes unprepared. The enemy's warriors would not be enough to create the cleansing flames. Using the last of his available energy, Azan released the order for retreat, and his warriors ceased their siege.
Now would not be the day for victory, but soon. The metal men's giant metal birds would prove perfect for the invasion. Raull slowly escaped the battle scene, with Azan hanging broken on his back, with his body aflame due to an overwhelming pain.

c16-126129-3 watched as the savaged admitted defeat. He was watching from a guard tower, which he had climbed during the battle, and slit the guard's throat, throwing his body to the ground. The grasslands in the valley were on fire, and the biotic enemies were going up in flames, so the battle was not all lost, but the savages were losing the most men, and their battle wolves were falling quickly. He would have to develop their own armor, although that would prove difficult for such a large creature. Still harder things have been done.
The giant savage leader lied broken on his beast, seeming to barely be able to hold onto his mount's thick fur. The black haired monstrosity was the perfect more animalistic version of his master, with the same giant, muscular build, and jet black hair.
Sadly, the savages had proved disappointing, but with the master's leadership and sciences, the coalition would fall within days.

The long journey finally paid off and the eredian military arrived in Nicholia, the troops are rushing ahead with maximum speed to aid in the battle against the coalition, but they were too late when they arrived. The 200,000 men recognized that only if they were able to turn the tide of a battle, their current numbers would be used efficently. Seeing how this war is on a massive scale calls have been made home to mobilize and draft 3 million men, whether reservists, active military stationed home or plain normal citizen. That way the "Eredian Nicholia Korps" will be at glorious strength, Generalfeldmarschall Mael Radec personally informed the general staff of the situation and requested more troops.

CŚM Nefen, somewhere in the ocean, two days from Grand Nicholia.

Cáðéit Cecáðéit Cascus had been sleeping in his quarters, when an aide knocked on his door.
"Enter," he said, groggy and tired.
The aide entered, saluted, and handed Cáðéit a map.
"Ah! Good. The map of Grand Nicholia I ordered." He put on a pair of glasses, which he rarely used, but he felt that he would need them to read every detail of the map. And it was quite detailed. He gazed over it - the aide still in the room. He looked towards the King Philippe Mountain Range, then furrowed his brow in confusion, before saying aloud, "They want us to go there? That's miles inland! It's certainly a good place for an attack, but it's miles from places like Nicholius! How do they want us to spread our first expeditionary force so thin?"
The aide spoke suddenly, "There's more, Lord High Commander."
He handed the letter that had been sent to the ship along with the letter.

!DAER EHT TSAL DROW FO HCAE ENCENTES!

Dear mother,
I have had a wonderful time in tabcorp park, I brought you back this. I would like to draw a map. I should? Anyways I plan to you to bring you back help. By help I mean a new pet tropical fish for you. I will give it to you when I land. Oh my. This country. Is just stunningly, there are many questions. I would ask. So in. Barcelona, how is it there, tell me in an letter.

Sincerely,
Molly

ESU A ENICHAM OT EES

He gave a cursory read over of it, and then threw it down in annoyance. "Oh goodness, these Anglo-Saxons... They aren't content in encrypting things, no! They have to be written in code. Their language isn't the only one around!"
"Please read it, sir."
Cáðéit begrudgingly picked it up, and squinted before saying some of the words aloud.
"Déir... No, read... the... last... word... of... each... sentence. Alright, I'll play along, you Anglo-Saxon bastard. This... map... should... help... you... land... my... country... questions... ask... in... letter. I have a lot of questions!"
"Please don't get angry, sir. We both know that Anglo-Saxons aren't as bad as you make out."
Cáðéit sighed, then continued, "You're right. I shall send a message back immediately. Maybe if I send it in coded Clányan, they'll have the same issue I had..."
"Please don't, sir. That would start an international incident."
Cáðéit yet again sighed, before nodding, and gesturing for the aide to leave.

Azan awoke surrounded by his red forests, with Raull curled around him, and his warriors bowed down around him. Ravvis was forefront in the prayer, an ancient ritual to the Rider, in hopes of granting his body the strength he needed to conquer his enemies.
Azan made an attempt to rize, but the screaming pain in his back and a soreness in his legs caused him to fall. They must have gotten burnt in the battle.
Raull whimpered, as he watched his master fail, but did not interfere. He would have to do it on his own, but it was better that way. Azan thrived in solitude, he always had.
As he made another attempt to rise, the chanting grew louder, and more rapid in speed. They were asking the Rider to mend the wounds the heathens had inflicted upon him, and to grant the hordes the strength to topple the enemy palace. Azan knew the Rider, in his vast knowledge, would not grant him the strength to overthrow the Nicholians. Even Azan knew, with his limited, mortal knowledge, that the fires caused by the Nicholians alone would not be great enough to kiss the heavens. The entire coalition would have to be present, and even the metal man’s federation, and their allies, would need to be present. Only a fire of such epic proportions, of such incredible death and cleansing, would unleash Azan’s full power of the Rider, and topple the heathen kingdoms of man.
So it was known, and so it will be.
On the third attempt, Azan rose, and retrieved his weapon from Raull. His warriors cheered, and gave a prayer of thanks to the Rider. The metal man was nowhere to be seen. For now, he’d need his strength. Tonight was a hunt, and the wolves, his men, and Azan would soon feast on manflesh. An honoured enemy made a good meal.

This was known.

The Sperlish army created a long defensive line to defend against the Primitive maniacs and the drones. If either attacked the causalities of the attackers would be large. Most of the defenses were hidden.

The Sperland-Antarcteca war(Treaty)
The Liberation of Andorra (Ceasefire)
The invasion of the Caribean (withdrawn)
War against Anarcho France (Victory)

"It's the the Lore of God's Plan, that granted us victory! We must all be grateful for his decision to grant us this victory against the heathens! May God's guiding hand lead us through the dark! Long live the King! Long live God! For the Fatherland!"
Boasted Charles, Minister of the military while addressing a large crowd in front of the Royal Diet house. The war was now no longer about defending the Fatherland. It was now about religion and good faith. Many did not realise this change of attitude. "The Lore of God's Plan" now became a motivational motto throughout the country. This change of attitude was ether going to help the country or not. The fate of Grand Nicholia now landed in God's hand according to them.

Somewhere North of Grand Nicholia
The Royal Northern Fleet, led by Admiral Loui Burgiak, had moved into position 20 miles off the northern coast of Grand Nicholia. The Fleet was one of the most accomplished within the entire Royal Navy, having served in three theaters of major conflict within the past five major wars. It is not the largest fleet, however many consider it to be the most advanced. The Fleet's flagship, a massive Lenin-Class Aircraft Carrier, HRS Rollo I, sat in the middle of fleet. Her deck was bustling with activity, as the sailor on board preparing the conflict ahead.

In the bridge, Admiral Loui Burgiak sat staring at the table in front of him, laden with maps, satellite information, and intel reports. His Vice Admiral, Vladimir Gorbachev, stood next to him examining the information as well. Other colonels and officers stood around the table. Admiral Burgiak was not in his usual, medal-clad white uniform. Instead, he was dressed in his blue camo, with a cap on his head. This was his uniform for war. "Gentlemen, the King has authorized military action in GN. At the moment, we are the only Balashovian military force in the region, and the King has ordered bombing raids on enemy positions until we get sufficient ground troops in the area. That could be up to 3 weeks however, and his Glory doesn't wish to solely rely on aerial attacks. So, he has authorized the use of strategic spec ops missions using units from the Black Battalion. Our orders are to move the fleet within 15 miles of the coast so we can begin aerial scouting missions, bombing raids, and shelling campaigns. We have no set plan for spec ops missions at the moment, but expect to hear word in the coming future."

"Sir, what about the enemy. What intel do we have on them?" said Gorbachev, after looking up from a map.

"Satellite intel reports as well as corresponding information from GN troops have revealed that we will be encountering highly advanced drones as well as great number of savages. However, we must not underestimate this force. They are brutal men, of great stature, who ride fast on mounts and use swords. This we will use to our advantage. I believe they are of greatest threat, and the drones may be using them to attack. If we can stop their advance through the country side, we can potentially turn the tides of the fight. When we move into position, and once we find where they are, we can use our firepower and aerial control to stop their advance and hopefully reverse it and send the savages back to the land they crawled from."

"Very well sir, I will relay the information to all the officers in the fleet. We should be within position by night-fall. As well, we will prepare our troops, airmen, and sailors for armed conflict. I imagine they will be excited."

With that, Vice Admiral Gorbachev and the rest of the officers in the room saluted, and the admiral saluted back. "Dismissed, officers. Good day."

The officers began to filter out of the room, leaving only the admiral and his support crew in the bridge. The admiral retired to his officer, with a dossier composed of maps, intelligence reports, and messages. He sat alone, looking over this information. Is this going to be an easy victory... Or will these savages pose as much of a threat the GN officials say. he thought, And what about these drones. What role do they play? Are they sentient, are they being controlled by a radio signal from somewhere? I need to find out..

The fleet began to push southward towards the coast line, led by the HRS Rollo I, steaming toward certain battle and bloodshed. A coded message was sent out from the HRS Rollo I, to the command of the GN military, as well as to the other coalition forces in the area.

TO: Commands of the Coalition
FROM: Admiral Loui Burgiak, HRS Rollo I, Commander of the Royal Northern Fleet
ENCRYPTION: VERY HIGH
Commanders,
The Northern Fleet of Balashov is en route to our final destination, 15 miles off the Northern Coast of Grand Nicholia. We are the only Balashovian Military force in the region at the moment, and ground troops and reinforcements won't be here for three weeks. Our King has authorized military action against our enemies, in the form of bombings, aerial attacks, etc. We request that we be provided with all available information about enemy location, size, strength. We will also conduct aerial surveillance of the region. Please let us know where we can concentrate fire and attacks, so we can provide the most aid.

Admiral Loui Burgiak
Commander of the Royal Northern Fleet

"We have received another letter!" Said a servant to the Minister of the Military."Give it. Gee, this totally is not about the war is it? What does this letter say?"
TO: Commands of the Coalition
FROM: Admiral Loui Burgiak, HRS Rollo I, Commander of the Royal Northern Fleet

Commanders,
The Northern Fleet of Balashov is en route to our final destination, 15 miles off the Northern Coast of Grand Nicholia. We are the only Balashovian Military force in the region at the moment, and ground troops and reinforcements won't be here for three weeks. Our King has authorized military action against our enemies, in the form of bombings, aerial attacks, etc. We request that we be provided will all available information about enemy location, size, strength. We will also conduct aerial surveillance of the region. Please let us know where we can concentrate fire and attacks, so we can provide the most aid.

We have already sent a map to the entire coalition. Feel free to check that as that shows military positions. If you need another map, ask in a letter.

[i]c16-126129-3 once again found himself walking through the savage camps, searching for their leader, the big one. They were about 12 miles from the royal palace, by his calculations, in the area known as the red forest by the natives. According to them, their little war god died here, using his last breath to tear his enemies into oblivion, splattering the trees with fall man's blood. This, of course, was highly illogical, in every aspect. The red trees were a species of plant found native to these parts, and their bright coloring was used to attract possible pollinators, which fertilized the flowers that grew aboard the branches.

As he looked for the savage king, c16-126129-3 noticed the great care and kindness the savages gave to their beast, some giant wolf species about the size of an average horse. They stroked them, fed them, played with them, and treated them like your typical boy plays with his dog. Although they loved the creatures unconditionally, the same could not be said for the treatment the savage's mates and children received, being on the brunt end of slaps and harsh words, and constant commands to be carried out without question. If a youngling disobeyed, or was found weak, they would be beaten severely, without love or compassion. The stronger the warrior, the more mates he would have, and the men could disown them at any time they proved disappointing. When this happened, they would be cast out into the night, for all passing men to use at will.

They were a savage, brutal race, the whole lot of them, and that was just what the federation needed. If they could only be trained, and taught, the royal palace would fall without a struggle. All c16-126129-3 had to do was meet with their leader.

The giant man was leaning against his beast, a wolf larger than the others by the name of Raull. He leaned against the beast for support, as he had taken a nasty wound to the back during the attempted palace siege, which tore through his back and undoubtedly, should have killed him. He was sharpening his sword, which was still deeply stained with blood from the previous battle. There was a fire in front of him, and c16-126129-3 made sure to sir himself with the fire in between him and the savage, as he knew that even injured, this savage man could destroy him with his bear hands. Of course, c16-126129-3 would make sure that this wouldn't come to that, but he had to make sure.

C16-126129-3 coughed to get the savage lord's attention, and then spoke; "Pardon me, my good lord, but I am with the federation of Abiottis, the eternal reign of my master. Am I to understand that you and your men wish to aid me and mine in our plight against the Nicholians?"
The savage didn't even look up from his sword, and his beast only snuffled and resumed its sleep.
C16-126129-3 continued, hoping to spark the man's interests. "I do believe I have the supplies and the technology to bring your warriors to victory, and topple these foolish empires of man. I can provide the proper training, weaponry, and tactics needed to forge your military into one of the greatest forces this... puny little plane has ever seen."

This got the savage's attention. He stabbed his great blade in the wood burning in the fire between them, and stood up slowly, his broken body aching and cracking with the strain of his wound.
"You have my attention, metal man."
C16-126129-3 smiled. This would be the start of a beautiful relationship.
"Here, I have been so kind as to provide a map of Nicholian topography. You will need to block in the palace valley to prevent their allies from aiding them, by concentrating your forces here." He pointed to the entrance to the mountain valley where the palace was located. "My drones, or metal men, as you call them, will focus their attack on the palace's defenses, leaving them sitting ducks. Once this has been accomplished, you may end the royal family as you desire, but there's a young girl there, who goes by the name Aya. Her head is mine. Do you understand me? Do as you with with the rest, but the girl is mine." The savage grunted in affirmation."Good, after that, the rest of the coalition's forces will be left causeless. Perhaps the young princess' nation will grieve her, but their forces will be easy enough to remove from the game. Do you accept?"

As the savage pondered over this for a second, c16-126129-3 noticed a cold, calculating intelligence in the savage's eyes, which surprised him. Perhaps they weren't simply mindless beasts.
Even more to his surprise, the savage looked up, concentrated on c16-126129-3's eyes, laughed, and said "You're very far away from home, aren't you, metal man?"
Taken aghast for a moment, c16-126129-3 stared blankly at the savage, regained his composure, and replied "Why yes, I am. However did you know?"
"When you look at me, the only thing I see in your eyes is hate. You look as men do when their son, their own creation, falls in battle. Like a disappointed father. We must look like such ants to you, metal man."
Before c16-126129-3 could respond, the savage spoke again. "We agree to your plans, and will ride into battle when my wounds are healed, by the grace of the great Rider. When the kingdoms of man fall, you will leave, and all will be as it was. I will tell my men what they will be doing."

The savage king walked away, limping with every step, leaned against his beast.
