The Santherese Humanitarian Society

The Santherese Humanitarian Society is a non-profit organizations, one of the oldest humanitarian organizations in the world, and is certainly the most active, throwing itself into modern crises in a selfless attempt to make the world a better place. Other organizations claim to be the foremost amongst aid groups but it is only the SHS that sends its fleet of hospital ships and volunteer workers to every corner of the world to help as many sick, starving, and wounded as it can on its modest budget.

Many have benefited from the humanitarian missions that are launched monthly. From Cypronian expatriates rescued from the ravages of war, to the Nidians faced with starvation and riots, to the victims of the typhoon in Carnelian Island, the SHS has been across the world and back, providing aid and comfort to those in desperate need. We have also joined the Global Initiative for Disease Control and have put our best foot forward to advance its interests.

There are nine primary hospital ships in the SHS fleet, eight Mercy-class vessels and our newest, largest aid vessel yet, built modified from the design of the Batillus class, our humanitarian flagship, the Serenità. This ship is over four hundred meters long and is one of the largest ships in this service, if not amongst the largest nonmilitary ships in the world. Dozens of other ships are maintained to respond to any circumstance which fits within the Society's mission, and are based throughout the world to do so quickly.

The SHS is a nonprofit organization and is available to all in need, without fees, to feed the hungry, house the homeless, and heal the sick. We always have at least one floating hospital standing by to sail wherever it must, and others capable of activation within three days.

Of course, they were not going to launch a corporate invasion against a humanitarian organization. It just angered Claudius that the good things he does are never noticed, and it is only the bad that he is known for. He had tons of forged legal documents to "prove" that he had acquired all of his oil legally, and was more than willing to put them forth if necessary. In response to your clarification, we wish to note that if said ship was no longer a warship, there would be no need to call it as such and it would not be able to fulfill its expected duties of protecting our hospital ships. As well, tankers have been chosen to be modified into hospital vessels for several reasons, amongst those their size and appearance. They are clearly not warships, and are much more useful in their capacities.

A modified warship still looks like warship.

Our apologies, but we must for the safety of our fleet and the purity of our reputation turn down your offer. Thank you for your kindness in any case.
