She began rapping at the age of 14 when she joined up with two of her friends from school to create a rap group, she left them a year later because "they weren't taking it seriously enough". She then dropped out of school on her 16th birthday because she had no friends and was constantly teased for her strange clothes. She then spent the next year working on a music video filmed in Caribica City entitled "mundo de la mina". The video went viral on YouTube. Brief Bio :

Started in a Northern Burgunden garage in 1986, the Podunkers started their musical adventure as Unba Fuma, Frandit for ‘Down in Flames’. They met in secondary school and became fast friends, learning to play their instruments on the fly to match the intensity of their live, raw energy. Their name was taken from a famous song by their favorite influential punk band, The Dead Boys. Looking for an English name that was more accessible, they settled on the Podunkers, although none of the members can remember how it came about. They took on this new moniker after a few school gigs and neighborhood basement parties as Unba Fuma. It took them 2 long years, scraping and saving, to finally put out their debut album, ‘Urine Fer A Bucketload Now’, on local label Dram Shop Records. The title was a reference to one of their favorite movies of the time, Mel Brooks' 'History of the World, Part One'.
It became a local big seller in the northern Neu Engollian area, with lots of radio play by rock DJs. The biggest tracks to come off that first classic album were the title track and ‘Sally Had A Pink Mohawk’.
The band went on their first tour in support of the new record the following year, 1989, after sales could support such an endeavor and it had built up popularity on the Confederacy's Music Charts.

Several more albums came out over the last two decades, including ‘The Destruction of All Things Holy', ‘The Original Burgunden Bastards’ and ‘Live At The Dome’. Their popularity continued to grow and they cranked out hit single after hit single that made it onto the regional charts such as “Original Burgunden Bastards’, ‘Poo Gazer’, ‘Corporatastic’, ‘For The Love of Beer’ and ‘Keeping It Rich’, a scathing song about the powerful Tell and Toft families that are ingrained in the politics, society and dominate the economy of Neu Engollon.

A few years ago, they were able to open for their ultimate heroes, Velociraptor Rex, during a couple nights playing the annual Alpen View Brew Festival in Burgunden, All members agree it was a highlight of their careers. (Their album name 'Original Burgunden Bastards' was taken from a V-Rex song.)

They also sight such varied influences as Thin Lizzy, KISS, The Supersuckers, The Clash, Cocksparrer, The Dead Boys, Operation Ivy and The Specials.

They are looking to get representation with iStudio in order to reach a wider audience, higher profile and fan base. They would like to book more tours outside of Teremara and feel that iStudio would be their best opportunity to do that.
