The current system of education is outdated, with its subjective and one-sided view towards academia, without a global centered-ness and understanding of the world. The Legion Universities hopes to correct this thought by encouraging internationally-minded collaborative individuals that are better suited for this rapidly globalized world.

The Legion International University goes by the same motto of the Legion Corporation but in Latin, "Potentia Somnia", which means "The Power of Dreams". The Legion International University partners closely with the various subsidiaries owned by the Legion Corporation, as well as other industry leaders around the world, to provide students with a collaborative and interactive learning experience.

As co-founder of the prestigious Kinstail McKenzie University together with Dr Kinstail McKenzie, a fellow education legend and the current Premier of the Recon Empire, Dr Hennings has also set the core policies for the national education system in the Recon Empire. Serving as the former Secretary-General of the Recon Education Authority under the Ministry of Community, he has defined the curriculum for all public schools in the Recon Empire for the past 25 years. Dr Hennings has also been involved with the foundings of the Imperial College of Dion, the University of Pryston and the Felton State City University, and currently sits on their Board of Governors.

Dr Alistair Hennings obtained an LPhD in psychology and LDMg in Education Administration.

The Legion International Education Standards

The Legion International Education Standards Certification Program (L.I.E.S., pun worth noting) is the official certification provided by all Legion International Universities worldwide for higher education. The LIES Program is highly regulated by the Board of the L.I. University and the Royal Academy of the Recon Empire. With strict mandates to curriculum and student development, it offers personalized learning and efficient certification at every level from Secondary Education up to Doctorate.

Tiers of Education

Legion Undergraduate Degree (aka Legion Bachelor's Degree or LB)

Legion Undergraduate Degree (LB) is usually earned for an undergraduate course of study that normally requires three to five years of study (depending on institution and field of study). The Legion Bachelor's Degree is the lowest certification offered by L.I.E.S. and admission requirements include GCE "A" Levels and/or above. There are ten Legion Bachelor's Degrees that all subjects and courses are based upon.

I am not sure how famous the name of Sacheyenya is to you, and I am certain the names 'Malkorat' and 'The Troubles' are even less famous. So, a bit of back story, if I may. Malkorat is a small island City-State off the coast of Mainland Sacheyenya. It is the second largest concentration of Muslims in the Empire, and holds strong cultural significance to the Empire. It's economy crashed a long while before the 14th century, and it has never recovered.
As such, in this age of initiatives to strengthen the Empire, it has been the idea of King Tal'eu and Chieftress Samsa Assado, to dedicate a large lump sum of money as a stimulus into the Tribe of Malkorat. To this end, we have decided that Legion International University, among other Legion Corps brands, may be the best chance to restore Malkorat that we have seen in a long while. This will be the largest sum we can muster for now, however do expect us to invest more highly in Legion Corps in the future.

The National University of Frezland will cost the estimated NS$2.97 billion to construct, and can begin its operations within 12 months time (IC).

We are excited to have Dr William Troughton serve as the Dean for the National University of Frezland, and we believe under his leadership, the University will develop its students in the vision and mission of the Legion International Universities, and uphold our values towards adaptability, contemporary thinking and creative exploration.
