Legends. Stories scattered through time. Mankind has grown quite fond of recounting the exploits of heroes and villains, forgetting so easily that we are remnants, byproducts, of a forgotten past.

Man, born from dust, was strong, wise, and resourceful, but he was born into an unforgiving world. An inevitable darkness – creatures of destruction – the creatures of Grimm – set their sights on man and all of his creations. These forces clashed, and it seemed the darkness was intent on bringing man's brief existence to the void.

However, even the smallest spark of hope is enough to ignite change, and in time, man's passion, resourcefulness, and ingenuity led them to the tools that would help even the odds. This power was appropriately named "Dust."

Nature's wrath in hand, man lit their way through the darkness, and in the shadow's absence came strength, civilization, and most importantly, life. But even the most brilliant lights eventually flicker and die. And when they are gone… darkness will return.

So you may prepare your guardians, build your monuments to a so-called "free world," but take heed… there will be no victory in strength.

Or perhaps victory is in the simpler things that we have long forgotten, things that require a smaller, more honest soul.

"Mina."

Carmina Birch was sleeping when her father came by to wake her up. This wasn't an everyday scenario, as she can wake up on her own; however it seems that she may have ignored the alarm block blaring beside her bed several minutes ago. This day was different.

Seeing as she doesn't want to get out of bed, her father exited the room and returned with an electric stick. He placed the end of the stick on her body, and she got up in a jolt.

"GAH!!!", she shrieked. "What the hell, dad!?"

"Mina, time to wake up."

When she finally got up, she rubbed her eyes for a few seconds and then yawned. "You don't usually do these things, do you?"

"Of course I don't. You do know what day it is today, right?"

"Yeah."

"Aaaand do you know what time it is right now?"

Carmina looked to the clock on her right and it displayed 8:59 AM. "Oh god. I thought I've set it to seven o'clock!"

"Yeah, I think you may have ignored it."

"I gotta hurry!"

As her father left her to fix her bed he said, "Mina, remember one of the basic rules of being a huntsman, 'Be prepared.' "

By the time Carmina was done fixing her bed, showering in the bathroom, and changing into her clothes, breakfast was already being prepared downstairs, full of proteins. When she took bites of it, she thought it was a bit cold, but she had no time to lose. Mina was about to go to Beacon, and the airship leaves at 11:00. As she was finished, she quickly finished off whatever what was left to do, grabbed her Helfarch and got inside the car. Her dad was going to drive her to the airport, which may be one of his last drives that he will do for his daughter.

On the way, they did encounter some light traffic on the way, as Vale was a decent sized city. Inside the car, Carmina kept saying the same response as her dad was going through all of the 'remembers' that he had on being a huntsman or huntress.

"Remember to stay close to your teammates and work together as a unit."

"Yes, dad."

"Also, take time to focus on your aim before releasing the arrow."

"Yes, dad."

"Note that there are some Grimm that have learned from fighting humans. Figure new tactics to kill them."

"Yes, dad."

"Mina, are you really paying attention?"

"Yeah, of course."

"Good. Because you'll need to know that once you get to the dangerous world outside of these walls."

The car stopped in front of the terminal entrance. Before Carmina was to open the door, her father was going to say something. "Mina?"

She turned and asked, "Yes dad?"

He paused for a few moments and said, "If only your mom can see you now… Make us proud, okay?"

This is where she got a little emotional. "I will." Her dad then proceeded to hug her and kiss her on the head. Carmina then exited the car, and her dad went to get her suitcase. When it was time to head to the airship, Carmina turned around and waved her hand to her father. This may be the first time that daddy has to let the redhead teenager go out on her own.

---

Leif Spruce had arrived at the airport by himself by taxi. His parents were partially relieved from the payment of his fees because his teacher at Signal had offered to pay the rest. He was a hardworking fellow, and was able to pass the entrance exam that would be huntsmen and huntresses have to take. It was indeed grueling for him, but it was worth it to make his parents proud.

He pulled out an envelope from his bag and opened its contents. A letter was inside, which contained an official message from Beacon Academy itself.

Image

Greetings, Leif Spruce.

Congratulations for being one of the few individuals accepted into Beacon Academy! Our world is currently experiencing an incredible time of peace, and it is our duty as huntsmen and huntresses to uphold it. You have the privilege of being trained by some of the best teachers in their fields. We do hope that we are successful in bringing you up with the necessary skills and knowledge to protect and preserve mankind from evil.

A large airship is currently waiting at the airport, which will be leaving at 11:00. You will be able to enter thirty minutes before departure. Make sure to arrive an hour before your airship leaves. Good luck to you, and see you there!

Leif suddenly got hungry, so he placed the letter back in the envelope and returned it into the bag. He then pulled out a rice bun and took a bite. It was indeed delicious; the meaty pork inside was made just right. As much as he was good at cooking, nothing can beat the rice buns made by his parents. The family restaurant is currently in good business, maybe part of the earnings will go into paying his fees at Beacon. His benefactor might not be providing money forever.

All of that didn't matter to him; he was going to Beacon! He was eager to make new friends and be part of an actual team whose teammates would become his closest comrades. This was the positive spirit that he was so known for by his family and close friends.

---

A black motorcycle can be seen speeding through the highway going to the airport, its rider wearing a gray scarf. He managed to arrive at the airport at around a quarter to ten, just enough time to get inside the terminal. The face of a faunus with fox ears on his head emerged from the helmet that he was taking off. This was Jackson Silver.

His sister Adelaide is teaching at Beacon, specifically in combat classes; the only other teacher other than Professor Goodwitch teaching that subject. Because of this, huge expectations were being laid on Jackson, although he'd never care about them. Neither would he care about whether his skills or his intelligence will match his sister's. Jackson feels like all of the world, including his father, is just comparing him with her.

On the way to the airship, he accidentally bumped into a certain guy with light brown hair and a suit of armor with gold trim. He reacted, "What the hell are you doing!?"

Jackson flippantly replied, "I'm walking, stupid."

He just frivolously walked into the airship, standing by the window. It wasn't like anyone would want to talk to this punk, despite being drop-dead gorgeous. Jackson just brushed his hair upwards and looked outward, even though the ship wasn't going to depart anytime soon. His scroll began to vibrate in his pocket, and so he pulled it out and answered whoever was going to call him.

"Hello?"

A voice came from the other side. "Jackson."

"Oh, sis."

"Are you on the airship?"

"Yeah, it won't be leaving 'till eleven."

"I know. By the way, don't try to call me Adelaide in school."

"Then what should I call you?"

"At Beacon, I'm Professor Silver."

Jackson snickered at this. "You still use that title?"

"At least it's better than Doctor Silver."

"Yeah you're right."

"Also, don't expect to be famous at Beacon, punk. Being a Silver is more than just being my brother."

"I know."

"Alright, I'll be seeing you there. You better not mess up."

"Eh, I'm not promising that I'll entirely keep it."

"Just don't get into trouble. Bye." And the call ended. Jackson took a huge sigh as he put his hands in his pockets. Jackson seemed like a different person whenever Adelaide wants to talk with him.

Theriam stood where he was supposed to, he was on the dock for a while now, many hours had probably passed now, yet, he still had the same bored looking face, for once, that reflected how he really felt.
"Hey Heamet, how long is it going to take now?" He asked with an obvious bored tone.

"Do I look like I have any idea? I'm stressed like crazy, I don't even remember the time the ship is supposed to come up!" Heamet said, fairly worried.

Theriam sighed and continued to wait, it had been years since he made it his life choice to enter Beacon, he did think about Atlas for a while, but military power was never interesting for him, he wanted to explore the world, he never saw any Grimm except in his excursions with Ether, his faunus friend. He took the letter in his hand and opened it, it read: Be there one hours before the ship comes, it will be there at eleven A.M. He quickly put it back in his pocket, mumbling words to himself

"Waiting sure is boring." His brother put him out of his trance "Were you even listening? You're such a pain sometimes."

"Well sorry if I don't always listen to the nonsense you spout every ten seconds, go play with your steel balls again" Seeing as he looked just about to launch his balls at him he took a step back.

"Want a fight you idiot? I may be more of a medic, but I can hit hard as well" Heamet smirked

"I sure can pull a fight as well, but I won't, I don't want to get kicked out my first day."

"You're probably right, fuuuuuu~" Heamet laid back and closed his eyes before opening them with shock "Wait, what time is it?"

"It's ten forty five- wait, you're thinking about how Ether might still be saying goodbye to his owl?"

"Yep. He might be."

"What a pain... I suppose we should go and get him, he's such a pain."

"He'll remember, he never forgets, especially stuff like that"

Meanwhile...

Ether was sitting on his tree, relaxing, thinking about nothing and drinking coffee, he had just woken up yet he still remembered the letter he got yesterday saying that he was accepted into Beacon, that didn't even surprise him, the tests were just plain easy, not even a stretch for him, not even a Grimm to kill off.

"Well, time to get to work, I'll eat something and get there, what time is it?" He looked at the sky "Seemingly ten thirty, good grief, I'm going to be late if I don't hurry, well, I have time for another coffee" While he making another coffee and preparing to go, his phone started ringing. "Hello Ther, How's it going? You're probably at the docks by now ain't you?"

"How'd you know? You're probably still drinking your coffee huh?" He answered playfully

"Heh, no, I'm actually making another one, I'll drink it on the way, I've made a whole thermos of it, I need my coffee man."

"I swear, you could live only on that."

"Heck I might."

"Anyway, move it, you're gonna be late. Bring your owl if you want"

"Okay no problem, see you in a bit"

"See you." He took his owl Aster with him and jumped out of his "home", it's mostly a wooden cabin in his tree, he actually got permission to use that tree by Theriam and Heamet's parents, he felt really proud to have his "house" being so young, but as he said many times, he doesn't identify to the normal people. He quickly made his way through the city by foot and made it to the docks, he almost flinched seeing all those people but got to Theriam and Heamet quickly and to his relief they were fairly alone on their side.

"S'up Ther? Heam."

"So you finally showed up." Theriam still seemed bored

"Finally! You were about to be late!" Heamet greeted him.

"Well, on to our first day of Beacon right?"

"Sure seems like it"

"Yeah."

Yuki Marin. She was a pitiable existence of a life if once could call it that. Born to a poor family she had known peace for the majority of her current life, had gotten to play in the fields surrounded by her loving family as a child unknowing of the cruel dangers of the world. And then in a single night which was meant to be a joyous occasion, she died and with her, the entire family perished in a Grim attack that took place on the edge of their small village. It was that fateful night on her eleventh birthday seven years ago as she watched her mothers sacrifice in vain, as that black claw ripped away her arm, crimson filled her vision as she lost control of her mind. The roar of her father and his screams and then silence... deep unending silence followed by beeping... Beeping?

Slowly Yuki's eyes squinted open from her room in the hotel, light flooding in gently from the cracks in the worn drapes that hung near her rested head on her pillow, Yuki sighed in exhaustion. She had dreamt that dream again, the same dream that had haunted her since that day so long ago ever since she woke up in a hospital in Vale. The night her life ended always haunted her and it seemed like it's nightly occurrence was growing with each passing day that her acceptance to Beacon Academy closing on to.

Slowly with a bit of disgruntled pressure he moved her arm from under the covers, her only arm to be specific as it moved from her stomach and out from under the cotton fabric. She held that hand in front of her squinting eyes to block the light flowing in from beyond her drapes. Slowly, she was waking up as she closed her eyes and then placed her hand onto the bed to gain leverage and force herself up to a sitting position. She grimaced as she finally opened her eyes completely in the morning light as she worked her way out of the hotel bed.
Her feet touched the cold wood flooring sending a refreshing shock up her nerves jolting her out of any remaining momentary sleepiness. and So slowly in the morning light alone in a hotel she once again sighed and looked at her exposed body with nothing but her underwear on, her goosebumps raised slightly to the temperature difference and then grimaced at the floor as she located her clothing which fell into place everywhere she looked.
Slowly she bent forward and grabbed her striped purple stockings near her bedside and then proceeded to put them on with some difficulty which she was use too, after all when you had seven years with only a single arm left, especially when it was originally for bad one, you learnt how to use it effectively in order to recover some value of normality.
Slowly the fabric rubbed against her skin and covered it to her thighs, then she grabbed her other clothing and proceeded to move across the hotel room putting on an article of clothing on after another until fully dressed. She then made herself a light breakfast from the hotel fridge and was halfway through eating it when the hotel door was knocked twice and then opened. Silently a man dress in a black suit walked in and lightly coughed before speaking.

"Miss Marin... the cars waiting, I'll be driving you to the Airport."
Yuki looked at the man, her eyes void of light, her face expressionless and in her hand a piece of buttered toast, silently she sighed within and then dropped the toast on the plate while moving the hotels chair back so he could get out. Quickly she went to the fridge and grabbed a small brown bag and then left with the man from the interior of the Hotel room.
The hallway wasn't grand by any standards, it was a three star at minimum for the majority of the floors which mean that the floor carpeted and had a working elevator, the man who had walked with Yuki quickly motioned for the elevator call button. The doors opened within seconds as he lightly pushed Yuki in and then hit for the lobby. The doors closed and music started playing. It was simple, its tones and beats upbringing and cheerful, but Yuki didn't show a single trace of interest, silently the Man's lightly faltered underneath the silent pressure of this sole girl.

The elevator doors open and Yuki walked forward to the lobby desk to pay her bill for her room only to be redirected by her escort towards the doors, quickly he spoke as he reached for the doors and opened them for her.
"Your bills already been taken care of by Beacon. Now lets hurry to the car its the black one in the center."

The sky in vale at day was clear with some clouds, the birds in nearby trees chirped lightly and Yuki silently walked to the cars door, opened it and then stepped inside closing it behind her. As the man got in front of the car he took out his scroll and started speaking from outside her range notifying the academy that she was being picked up.
As he got in and shut for driver side door loudly, he turned the key and started the vehicle up and then stepped on the gas. Scenery blazed by at a rapid pace, but Yuki didn't bother to look at it, only forward, her eyes watching the mirror and the escort. She didn't talk, didn't move unless it was necessary. She simply existed there like a living doll something to look at but infinitely hollow and empty, it was creepy and she could tell the man was slowly breaking as they finally pulled into the airport.
The moment the car stopped behind others she undid her seat belt and left without a word, opened the door and then closed it before turning towards the driver and lightly bowing as he sped off only wanting to get away from the existence known as Yuki.
In the Car the drive spoke as if a huge burden had been lifted off his chest.

"Jezz what a poor excuse for a human being. All she did was simply sat there and stared like some sort of puppet without strings... I don't get paid enough to deal with "Dolls"."

And then she was alone again. Near her she could see others arriving all candidates heading to Beacon Academy just as she was.
Finally she could take the first step towards her goal, and it had been a hard journey, In combat school she had learnt her what her semblance was, she had learnt how to fight.
But the instructors believed that she was too reckless, that with only a single arm she would be too weak, they tried to make her take a different path then a huntress... they had tried to teach her this and failed. So in order to preserve her life, to increase even the finite chances of her survival they had deliberately failed her twice in order to teach her more, but every time they did Yuki got even more desperate and became even more fragile until the light disappeared from her very eyes and she became a machine.

For the Instructors, they saw this and saw what they had done she was no longer a girl but a doll, a weapon to be pointed at the enemy, and with her history... maybe that too is what she had wanted from the start.
Her existence was like chiseled Ice, it was cold and could burn those unprepared, It couldn't receive love or warmth and was a solid dense mass, but with the right workmanship, something could be made...could be created, they only hoped that maybe Beacon could chisel that Ice known as Yuki Marin and create something from her beyond the weapon that they had accidentally forged.

But before that airport, before Beacon which stood in its far distance, there standing alone like a "Doll" her expression empty, an arm missing with only hollow clothing where her right arm should be was blowing in a slight wind, her aura as cold as winter and her existence akin to that of Ice. A small glimmer of light finally started to appear in Yuki's empty blue eyes.
Until now she had only one goal which had carried her these seven years. Had existing for a singular purpose... and that was Revenge.
Slowly her left hand brushed her shirts hidden pocket and then pulled her scroll out to check the time, it was 10:30... she sighed silently and then started to walk forward through the terminal as she placed her scroll away, her fingers lightly caressing a white 6" collapsed baton.
Held to her left leg from her belt.

And silently she spoke, her voice monotone and empty of all emotion.
"Soon I'll have my revenge... and with Tundra I will guide all of them... to Nifheim."

Shinji Yamato, son of two Atlesian hunters slayed brutally by Grimm creatures led by a rogue hunter, arrived to the Vale Airport in a car driven by his 19 years old human adoptive sister Seras Maria. He had his sword, the Red Sorrow, in his sheath. He was dressed in a black long jacket, a green hoodie with fingerless black-red gloves, a black t-shirt, blue pants, a dark blue backpack, red socks, black underpants and black long boots with white knots. He was waiting for an airship to arrive to the airport. He was expecting for his initiation into Beacon after leaving Sanctum. Every night, he had visions of his biological parents being brutally murdered by Grimm creatures and the rogue hunter Algoran Sebastion, who led the murder. He hoped for a better future, he throught. He want to see Algoran die in vein.
"You have everything needed? Your acceptance letter? Your weapon? Your bread? Your first aid kit?" Seras asked Shinji.
"Yeah, I got everything with me" Shinji responded. Seras gave Shinji a hug before Shinji went to the airship. He took a seat on the airship with his green hood on over his head.

The alarm blared next to Avena's bed, the display blinking the time of 7:05. Avena moaned from underneath the covers as she reached over and turn off the alarm. A few seconds of no movement went by before she sat up and stretched. Her pink hair was wild and messy and there was crust on the edges of her blue eyes. She rubbed her eyes to get rid of the crust before getting out of the bed. She was wearing grey plaid short shorts and a black tank top that was falling off her shoulder. Avena yawned as she walked into the bathroom and took a shower. As she washed her hair, Avena began to talk and hum to herself. " Today is the day~ . Today I show the world how awesome I am~." Avena sang, rather badly, as she washed the suds out of her hair.

A couple minutes later, she turned off the shower and dried herself. Once dry, she stood in front of the mirror and looked herself over. Liking what she saw, Avena winked to her reflection as she pointed her finger like a gun, flexing her thumb to simulate the hammer of a pistol hitting the firing pin. She reach down to the counter and picked up a curling iron. She took the back part of her pink hair and began to curl it. Once done, she took the bangs on the right side of her head and did the same. Avena turned off the curling iron and grabbed a hair band and put her pink hair in a pony tail and drapped it over her left shoulder. Avena reached into the cabnet and pulled out a white band aide and put it on a cut that was on the bridge of her nose. Done with hygiene, Avena walked out of the bathroom with a towel around her waist and got dressed. She put on a pair of baggy tan cargo pants with brown patches on the knees that rode dangerously low on her hips.

Avena then put on a black tank top that showed her midriff. Over that she put on a brown leather jacket that was tathered and ripped on the left sleeve. She took a roll of white fabric and wrapped it around the arm that was exposed by the torn jacket sleeve. Last to go on her was a tathered grey cloak and hood that her father wore when he was a hunter. On the back of the cloak were large red crosshairs with a silhouette of a thumbs up. Finally dressed, Avena grabbed her bags and went down stairs. Downstairs, her father, a dark haired man with a beard, was waiting for her. Seeing Avena, her dad gave a smirk. " You look like you're ready to kick ass. Ready?" He said as he reached over an grabbed a black and grey sniper rifle that was leaned against the wall. " Yeah dad, it's once again time for a Sharpe to debut the legendary shooting skills." Avena said with a big grin on her face.

Avena and her dad left their house in the country and drove to the airport where she would take an airship to Beacon Academy. The drive from her small village to the airport took a couple of hours. Avena had fallen asleep and was snoring obnoxiously the entire ride. When the reached the airport, her father woke her up. Avena got out of the car and grabbed her bags and set them on the curb. She was about to grab the black and grey sniper rifle before her father stopped her. " Be careful now...and take care of Grimsbane." Her father said with a smile, his eyes began to tear up. " Don't worry dad, I've got this." Avena said with a grin as she grabbed Grimsbane. She said her goodbyes and closed the door of the car. She strapped Grimsbane to her back with the barrel pointing down. She then grabbed her bags and turned around. She then walked into the airport with a huge, confident grin on her face.

Jackson just continued to look out the window, occasionally brushing his hair up to cover his fox ears. He was clearly losing his patience. The ship still hasn't lifted off yet, and it was close to 10:45. It wasn't like anyone would want to miss the ship and see it fly off to Beacon, but then there were others. He sighed and placed his hands in his pockets. He saw some girl with pink hair, a cloak over her, and cargo pants. From her expression on her face, she is probably a cocky person, one of those people that Jackson might dislike.

He glanced his eyes to her and then rolled them back to the window. He then asked with an apathetic tone, "Who are you?"

---

Carmina had also entered the airship just 17 minutes before takeoff. She was relieved that she was able to make it, even though she got up late. After all, this was her chance to make something out of herself. While she was passing by a certain part of the ship, she saw a faunus with dirty blonde hair and fox ears with another girl with pink hair and a cloak. She just passed the two by, looking for some place to sit. That pink haired girl did remind her of herself, although Carmina wasn't as cocky as her, was she?

Leif on the other hand, entered the ship eating a steamed rice bun. He walked around the airship, looking upwards and sidewards. It was indeed impressive. He was so impressed with the airship that he wasn't seeing some redheaded girl in his way. The two bumped into each other. Carmina was the first to react. "Hey, watch it!", she said to Leif.

"I'm sorry", he replied to Carmina. "I had no idea where I was going, and the airship looks awesome, and…" He ran out of words to fill in. Carmina deduced that he was probably a novice huntsman in training. She then asked him, "How did you get into Beacon with those?" She was referring to his gauntlets, which were on his arms.

"These? I was trained at Signal in close combat, and just barely passed the entrance exam. Anyways, I'm happy to be here."

"Right."

Thinking that he wasn't being polite to her, he then introduced himself. "Oh, by the way I'm Leif."

She responded, "Carmina."

"Right."

Thinking that he wasn't being polite to her, he then introduced himself. "Oh, by the way I'm Leif."

She responded, "Carmina."

As Avena was walking through the airship, gawking at the elegant interior, she was stopped by another person. She looked at the Faunus boy when he asked who she was. She was totally baffled that the boy didn't know who she was. She began to laugh as she thought that apparently not everyone gets word in the kingdom. " You seriously never heard of the amazing Avena Sharpe, the best shot in the entire Kingdom?! You must really live in burrow." Avena said with a cocky smile. " Oh...this is Grimbane, the tool to my abundant success." Avena said as she pulled the sniper rifle from her back.

"The best shot in all the kingdom huh? Who was giving away that title? Last time I checked, there was no news article about that." A large, stoic man said as he leaned against the wall. The large man, who was named Ulfric Orcson, was a awe inspiring figure. Standing a 6'5", Ulfric was a beast of a man. He also was a Viking, and a damn good one at that.
"What's next, your the fastest chick in the world?" Ulfric said as he leaned against the wall.

At the meanwhile, Shinji got a vision from his parents' murder and a pack of Grimm creatures running towards him. Shinji quickly wakes up and sees he is still onboard the airship. His eyes were blood-red, thought they only become blood-red when he activates his semblance. His eyes are normally blue, but the nightmarish vision gave him blood-red eyes instead of normal blue eyes.
"Damn, I just need to stop sleep again...." he thought for himself.

Jackson just glanced at her and then replied, "Never heard of you." Honestly, the only "Sharpe" that he had heard of was a certain huntsman who was good with a sniper rifle. Perhaps this was his daughter? Even then, he didn't give a damn of anyone's status in life. Not even the sniper rifle which looks a lot like the one the huntsman was using was enough to get his attention. Meanwhile, a viking showed up out of nowhere, towering a head above Jackson. Again, no emotions came out from him. He turned, raised an eyebrow and asked the man, "And who are you supposed to be? Aren't you a little old to be attending Beacon?"

Shinji sleeped again and got another nightmarish vision. This time was he seeing Algoran Sebastion, a rogue huntsman who was responsible for the murder of Shinji's biological parents. Algoran was dressed in a knight armor and his weapon was a sword with a shield that can turn into three forms, shield form, crossbow form and sheath form. Algoran said words that terrifies Shinji, such as mentioning the parents' murder, Shinji's first Grimm kill, Grimm creature terror and the anti-Faunus terror. Shinji wakes up again and his eyes were glowing blood-red.
"God dammit, just not sleep again!" he said to himself. He even thinked no one will approach him.

Heamet was the first to board the ship, and given his impatience, no one really grew surprised of his disappearance into the ship, on his way he noticed a person just about his age, seemingly a Faunus, seeing as his eyes were blood red, Heamet either
diagnosed him with a big case of rage, semblance activation or just really bad
nightmares, Heamet went up to him and asked: "You okay dude? You don't look
awesome at the moment, nightmares?"

Yuki had slowly walked through the terminal before making it to the airship, Security had been relatively light but the invite to Beacon on her scroll had still been flagged for some reason. Maybe it was her missing arm since most would see that as unfit for combat. She would have happily proved them wrong any day of the week, but such a thing was unnecessary as she watched the two security personnel go back and forth with their chain of command before finally passing back her scroll which had actually checked out. she wonder why then they had been arguing, but deiced it wasn't worth her time and then simply strolled past them and entered the Airship.

The interior was intresting, not much for seating but plenty of room and utility's, there was a lot of people on board, most were Human, a few Fuanus which was the norm since they were seen as a lesser race, she couldn't blame humans for thinking that, but at the same time she couldn't blame the White Fang for become terrorists when Fuanus rights were at least to her knowledge had felt almost nonexistent.

And so Yuki stood there for a moment watching everything around her without an expression before simply walking to the nearest window and looking out to the ground, in the background she could hear multiple conversations, one was about a nightmare between two guys, one of them being a Fuanus, another group more near her was a few people, something about being the best sniper in world, a towering man near them scoffed, and made a joke about a possible title which was next, the once nearest spoke of the fact he never heard of the girl who held a large rifle. Yuki focused on her clothing, a cloak and cargo pants, at least she was functional, but her hair would give her away if she was a sniper, but she couldn't really say she was any better since hers was light purple.
The towering man wore leather and furs, his hair was blond and shoulder lenght if not more... He looked silly it was all she could think, the other was also a blond Fuanus as well with fox ear's, he seemed bored, or irritated at the ship hadn't lifted off yet. Yuki though there conversation was intresting at best, but decided to simply go back to looking out the window. With her left hand she lightly touched the glass for a moment before lightly pulling away and then closing her eyes as she stretched her open palm and fingers wide.

Slowly she reached deep within herself and then activated her semblence, slowly she commanded the air at her hand to freeze and gathered the moister around her to her palm. From the outside looking in, Yuki simply faintly glowed with her aura as a small flower of Ice built from her open palm. The flower itself was a rose, translucent but striking in any case. As she shut off her semblance, she opened her eyes to look at the ice flower she had made for a moment before swiftly tossing it up into the air.
As it propelled upwards spinning and rolling around, her hand flashed down to her thigh and unlocked her baton which after being unhitched from its sheath quickly fell into her waiting hand, it was then that the rose of Ice started to fall to the ground, Yuki then silently extended her Baton to its full length of 16" and raised its steel rod soundlessly before quickly making a fluid movement of catching the Ice rose by its stem and blanceing it... she held the rose for a few seconds wordlessly before quickly sending it back up into the air before sheathing her baton once again in a fluid motion and watching the rose fall to the floor and shatter into countless small shards and fine dust as if it had been worn away by time.

At the same time she had been completely void of any expression's and simply went back to her doll like existence as she went back to looking outside the window. As if nothing had even happened.

"I am Shinji, Shinji Yamato" he presented himself to Heamet.

"So, do you know anyone here? Family or close friends?" Heamet pursued his line of questioning while Ether and Theriam embarked on the ship searching for him.

As they searched for him they stumbled upon countless people, making Ether feeling rather uncomfortable

"I hate people..."

Theriam turned his head to him and said

"I know that, that's why we need to find that idiot and fast, unless he's gonna call me and panic around." As he was saying this, he stumbled onto a purple haired girl and fell back. "Sorry, I wasn't looking." Ether continued without Theriam not knowing he wasn't following anymore.

"Ther? Woopdeedoo, he left me. Well I guess he should find me rather quickly with my feather head" He walked around and saw a man towering at least more than a head over him, he has furs and leathers on his armor making him really stand out.

Yuki had only gotten to rewatch the scenery beyond the glass for a moment before something bumped into her, quickly a voice spoke out it was rough and low indicating it was male. Yuki didn't really care, but it was only proper to face towards a person so slowly she turned her body to who had bumped into her.

The man near her Human, No tusks, no ears no strange appendage, just a regular human being.
He wore a brown cloth around his neck with accompanying t-shirt, over that was a beige vest with multiple pouches as his lower half was black pants and white shoe's, his face was stubbly from a short beard likely not even a few days old and was a little muscular while sporting brown hair.

but it was his eyes caught her attention. the left being brown like his hair, his right being red. Yuki lightly tilted her head in though, Brown iris's was a dominate factor in genes, so it explained the left, but she didn't know what sort of genetic mutation could give someone a red iris so she spoke, her voice and eyes empty as always.

"Heterochromia iridum... your right eye... it's different... Natural?"

Theriam looked at her with slight interest

"No, it's natural, I got fire dust in my eye a year ago and since then, I have this. But I should introduce myself, my name is Theriam, Theriam Lareylis, and you?" He answered rather monotonously, he quickly noted her lack of an organic arm, it was almost obvious to him that she had a slight lack in balance, but she seemed to handle it rather well, given that, he didn't bring it up, most likely for the best.

Heamet quickly got up and left, seeing as he completed his mission of keeping that faunus awake so he didn't fall asleep with nightmares again.

Though he did accomplish his mission he still felt the stress, it was the first time he got out of Vale, especially to go to school, but he wasn't the only one, Ether was stressed as well, but of course, not for the same reasons, Ether just feels uncomfortable around lots of people, but since Heamet thought of that in the morning, he came with his tea set and served himself some tea while listening to some jazz, the weather did start to get rainy so it was really the perfect time.

The fragrance of tea and coffee had always been relaxing for him, as it was for Ether, unfortunately the latter was too busy to answer to the call of tea.

Yuki raised her index finger and then made a 'Ahh' like expression to the best of her ability, it was rather flat but that was to be expected she thought.
"Pleasure meeting you...Theriam, Yuki Marin... Age 18... Beacon, Student? Goal?. "

Then Yuki went quiet and simply stared at Theriam waiting for his response although she didn't really mind if he didn't want to give one.
At the same time however her body felt cold so she lightly shivered, which was weird since the airship was heated... maybe she had bad blood pressure since losing her arm... silently she wondered if it could also be due to her semblance.

Theriam answered rather flatly "Yes, I'm a student at Beacon, judging by how you asked the question, it's probably your first day as well, to be honest, I don't even know my goal, I suppose I'm one of these people without a goal, most likely that I don't care about having one surely" Theriam continuously looked at her, trying to analyze her to the best of his abilities.
