The King, Henri II celebrated his first full year of power since his coronation and appointment on September 25 of last year. The Royal family, King Henri II, Queen Ionna and Prince Henri III allowed guests into the unfinished Nicosia Palace, with only 1/4 of the major project done, to celebrate the anniversary. To add to the splendid event, the King ordered that September 25 be coined as Coronation Day.

The first ever Coronation Day started with a speech given to the public by His Majesty, Henri II, at 9:00 on the state of the kingdom. The speech included much of the good things that Henri has done in his first year as King such as the construction beginning of his palace, the construction of 8 different parks in Chypree, four of which in Nicosia, the three canals started on and the score of statutes and museums being built in hopes of recreating the island.

At 12:30 the public was able to see the King's inspection of the National Guard, deemed very worthy of protecting, and the glimmering new suits and uniforms of the National Guard Officials and infantry. Marshal Valpelière himself arrived from Espana for the inspection. Valpelière spoke with King Henri on the war in Espana and the glorious Army of Castille.

Finally at 9:30 at night a grand party was held in the Nicosia Palace, the Royal Court, Dukes and Duchesses and Counts and Countesses arrive to celebrate the wealthy King. Reporter Lusane Annageron reported that the King had fire works go off that lite up the entire surrounding city, the lake was colored by the bright lights of the palace. The 3/4 of the palace still being built were covered in a temporary wooden shell of what it shall look like and was covered with gold and white lights, giving the party a heavenly like aura. The Royal Court mingled and ate and drank the high quality food and wines available from the King's store houses. Even the one year old Prince Henri III was introduced to the Royal Court in a Baby Ceremony. King Henri stated after the party that he believe the future was bright.

In negative news of the Zhongguoaodaliya area, numerous civilians were killed earlier today during a tour of the somewhat scenic Tzushang Island. A small cruise ship deployed a tour buoy to land upon the island, however on buoy hit a hidden mine and was destroyed, killing 5 tourists.

Almost immediately afterwards, the boats were recalled to avoid further casualties. An hour later, a military transport arrived to deploy a brigade to secure the island. Hostile terrorists fought back, believed although not confirmed to be of AQR origin.

The jihadist organisation known as AQR has seemingly no morals, as was evidenced in the War of Two Coups, in which they almost killed the Huangdi and did kill his heir. They also caused great damage to numerous structures in the cities of Luangdong, Guangshan and Fuxi.

After the battle, two soldiers had been killed and many more injured, but the small AQR detachment had been routed. One squad of Allied troops reports that the hostile were developing a dangerous piece of spyware on the small and isolated island.

The Huangdi is yet to make an official statement due to his presence in ISAF. However, the Sunhuo assures citizens that this attack will not go unpunished, and that this crisis will soon be over. AQR forces are now believed to be focusing their efforts on allies, not Zhongguoaodaliya itself. Soon, they will be eradicated completely, if the military can locate their base of operations.

Executions of underground Servintan Liberalist party traitors in 'full swing'!

Today thousands watched with vengeance in their hearts as the two minute airing of the infamous 'GrodArch Seven' being lead to the gallows was televised to state the appetite of the nation's desire for death upon the traitors mass murderers.The rain and cold air of this month didn't deter or stay the executions, which had been scheduled long before the trials were ever begun by the Arch-Judge of Servinta.The mood and crowds of hundreds was somber as they remembered those who perished in the bombings of Red Pacific allied Servintan Liberalist terrorist upon tourists who were visiting the GrodArch on that warm day six months ago, this sadness was soon turned to hate as the seven were dragged screaming from their cells and pelted with all manner of refuse as they were taken to the platform.

With cheers and jeers alike being shouted from the crowds the Servintan Federal guardsmen were hard pressed to keep the onlookers from storming the stage and performing the executions themselves, but thankfully the hangman was quick in his work and tied the knots around the necks of the guilty.

Screaming "We didn't do it, we've been set up" most of the guilty parties had to be gagged and beaten severely before their whining was silenced by a quick drop and a sudden stop.The Arch-Leader watched this from his own platform above the crowds and applauded when the deed was done, causing the rest of the citizenry to do the same in imitation of the glorious leader.

Thus ended the lives of seven non-persons, their crimes aginst the Peoples Federation to well known to fully explain in the context of this article and their existence to be forever more remembered as the examples for any who seek to spread discontent among the loyal population of Servinta.

King Henri II attended the dedication of his own statue in King's Park in front of a crowd of 500 people. The 2 ton statue is made up of solid black marble and in some parts lined with gold. King Henri's Statue, one if 40 in the city, is the most expensive one, costing around 3 million dollars and taking three months to sculpt with a skilled team of 20 artist. Newly elected Premier Emperor was in a near death accident today. It was later learnt that in the 6pm incident, the driver of the red Ferrari and a female companion escaped unhurt after they managed to get out of the burning car.


The Fire and Rescue Department said following a distress call at 6pm, a team of five firemen from Pantai station rushed to the scene but by then the back portion of the car was completely burnt.

"When we arrived, it was too late. The department’s forensic team was also notified, to help identify the cause of the fire," he said.

Emperor Almahn the Conqueror had travelled to Syracuse to show off the brand new Imperial Police at the Festival of Fire, a holiday were thousands of candles are lite to celebrate the glorious people who have pasted away and to celebrate new life and parties. The Emperor was hosting a large party and parade in the city with thousands in attendance. Suddenly a act that would forever change the Empire took place, an attempted assassination.

A non-Deritain, a mister Rennerate S'Lukas, a criminal warlord from the poisoned desert lands of Port Victor, a small kingdom under Deritain control. S'Lukas smuggled a gun into the party through a handful of flowers. At 12:34 he fired on the Emperor. Had Almahn the Second not been the healthy and fit man he was, he may have died then and there and would have been the first ruler of the nation to be assassinated. But Emperor Almahn survived the shot with amazing vigor, springing himself off the stage onto his would-be-assassin. Almahn the Conqueror was able to stab and kill S'Lukas with his sword.

However The 60 year old Emperor was taken to the hospital were the bullet was taken out of his muscular chest. But before he could have an all clear, the Emperor suffered from a heart attack, shock from the simple idea that someone was idiotic enough to try and kill him. He was weaken by the heart attack, but not severely. The Imperial Family travelled to the Palm Palace in Aprilia, after the Emperor refused to be taken to the Versa de Palace , as he did not wish to die in his family's home. In Aprilia he suffered yet another heart attack, a dangerous one.

The Emperor was condemned to his bedroom chamber, the last room he would ever enter. The Emperor spent his final hours with his family, talking with them and enjoying themselves. A candle was light to show when he died, at 10:30 that candle went out. The Emperor's last words were:

Funeral

A massive precession followed Emperor Almahn The Second's body, 60 miles twisting through the wide paved streets of Port Victoria, a slight drizzle plaguing them. Leading the precession of 200,000 people were the new Emperor, Christopher II and his sister, Empress Alanna. The movement ended on the island of Ancien Roi's, the massive memorials of past Emperors. Though not always known for their friendly relations with western powers and monarchies of the sort, the 21st Arch-Leader and several goverment officials have personally offered condolences and respects to the Deritan goverment and its royal family.The death which has been attributed to a fatal heart attack and age was the final undoing of a powerful ruler in western Europe, who's influence and interests had several times come into contact with Servinta's own.The highest echelons of governance in the country being the first to learn of Emperor Almahn II's death and several hours later cleared it as an applicable foreign news for Servinta and soon word of his death had spread from the capital to the rural north, even certain Rook tribes with television sets have been rumored to have been talking about the development.

Locally the military has made several open marches and small parades that while not directly attributed to the death, are heavily implied to be due to it.21 gun salutes and several armed forces have lowered their branch flags to half mast in respect to a man who had been popular in military circles and veterans alike.

It is currently unknown what has been exchanged by the Servintan goverment in their attempts to ease the Deritan's sorrows apart from a few heartfelt communiques and a few war mementos provided by the Brotherhood of Servintan Veterans (A goverment run veterans program), including a tattered Rhine state banner that had been signed by several Servintan and Deritan officers who had met during the battle of Bremen during the 2nd Rhine-Prussian War.These letters, E-mails, and phone calls are likely not to distract the Deritan people from their loss but hopefully will provide them the knowledge that Servinta and Derita, despite their differences are united by their desire to see peace and love spread throughout the world, in one way or another.

Reports say that Emperor Christopher wore the most stylish uniform of any ruler, an all black suit with a black and gold waist slash with a long silk black cape.

After four months of political turmoil, a chaotic fight between King Peter and Queen Veronica and King Charles II, yet another disaster has struck the splintered nation or nations of Espana, this time by the wrath of God.

This winter has been record setting as the coldest in the last three decades with temperatures at a freezing 27 degrees on average, compared to the usual 51 degrees. This has hit the agricultural sector extremely hard. For the last four months product had slowly declined but had not been much of a worry, but now people are fearful.

Demographics show that 7/20 of the nation has become hungry, compared to the 0% in October. The starving condition has horrified people in positions in power, politicians in Lisboa contemplate what to do for the famine. An estimated 125,000 people have died because of the the famine.

The main one to blame, Queen Veronica of Castille. The disgustingly flamboyant Deritain has spent away fortunes on petty dresses and parties in the Royal Madrid Palace, she spends millions of dollars on her lavish expenses. "In these dire times, there come situations in which the forces of terror and corruption manipulate and attack us. In these situations, few could do anything but observe in terror. However, our brave soldier Wung Zhouda decided to take action, saving the lives of over a hundred innocents. Therefore, I ward him the Ting Zhumangdao, otherwise known as the Emergency Action Commendation award. I hope that AQR soon realises the stupidity and failure of their attacks."

The Genoese Royal Family took a ski trip to the famous ski resort and town of Megève at Neige Palais Resort, owned by the wealthy Réev Family. Queen Regent Adela Réev, Regent of Genoa and her son, King Fredrick II, went to Megève with her son, his siblings, Prince Roiel and Princess Sophia and her father Archduke Ousamane I (Lord Ousamane II) and several Deritain noble friends.

The socialite Queen Regent stayed in Megève for three days, and while the toddler Prince, Princess and King did not, Adela and Ousamane both skied and mingled with the nobles. The Queen has been a leader in fashion and trends in Derita for the last two years, even though she is the Queen of Genoa, she is still Deritain. Ski trips are expected to double after this. Everyone wants to be like The Queen.

The protesters were quite and mostly house wives will their husbands were at work, the protest lasted three hours. The source of the complaints was the declaration by Duke Deleraio stating the nation was incredibly poor. While many things were listed as reasons for this poverty, King Henri's spending was not, stating that His Majesty is supporting the economy. King Henri has declared that he shall soon fix the problem.

Three months ago the faimine started, called the Great Faimine, after a terrible crop and harvest season. The nation was expected to recover from the food shortage, that has not happened. Since Febuary the amount of food available to people has pulmited to the ground. While this happens, the cost of food skyrockets.

Earlier this year around 35% of all Spainards were hungry and starving, but now, that number has jumped upwards to a terrifying 75%. Blame has been placed on war, blockades and horrible food shortages and growing seasons. As people struggle for every day meals, mire and more people die out of starvation. Census estimate that 300,000 people have died because of this, about 175,000 of those are thought to be children. Vegetables have become nonexistent in the nation and fruits are close behind. This is leaving wheat, meat and water to take up the majority of people's diets.

In Madrid riots run loose as the city is besieged by the Army of Castille and food supplies continue to shrink past dangerous levels. Reporters braving to enter the city state that in some places, entire city blocks have been pillaged and burned to the ground as hungry and angry rioters search in vain for food. 400,000 people have been displaced from Madrid because of this. In central cities such as Tajo and Toledo, the faimine is the worse, losing hundreds of people every week.

Even in Lisboa hunger and poverty stricts, leaving King Peter to develop new ideas on how to solve this deadly problem.

Today Servinta's own Arch-Leader has yet again shown the world that stereotype of a brooding and isolated nation are no more than capitalist slander as he prepares to send a sizable flotilla of cargo ships bearing food aid to war torn Communist Espana.This unexpected and unorthodox move by our glorious leader was no short an act of sainthood and compassion for the shaky forieng nation across the Mediterranean sea.Late at night he made the descision and had his Arch-Orator make a public announcement to support the efforts of the goverment by having citizens and several hundred penal workers 'Volunteer' their free time to assist in the rapid transportation, handling, and loading of the whopping 419 tons of cereal in the next six months.

Concerted efforts by the first wave of volunteers has already set a quarter of the prescribed aid into the hulls of several Servintan Peoples Merchant Navy ships.Even with these astounding numbers the problems that face this humanitarian effort are legion.Not only does the logistics problem of sending supplies to the 'Communist' nation of Espana seem impossible, but also the fact that the nation of Chypree currently holds most the ports in and around the area with a tight blockade.

This has not deterred the brave men of the Peoples Navy, who will escort the cargo flotilla under the command of famed Fleet Admiral Faltiv who's surface ships will unblock any obstacle that dares to stand in the way of Servinta's finest.Along with the surface fleet a small number of Servintan Subsurface fleet submarines have been reported to be assembling to safeguard it further but this is purely speculation at this time.

His Majesty, King Henri the Second took a brief trip to the Castille controlled city of Seville in Espana today, were he announced a grand promise to all the suffering people of Espana, declaring that he would give them three things. Peace, Land and Bread. King Henri promised to remove the dictator and pretender to the Spanish Throne, Peter of Espana and to establish Queen Veronica as the rightful ruler to bring about his promise.

The three items as stated by King Henri II, is to win the War of Spanish Succession to bring peace. To allow the people of Espana to purchase more land. And finally to use that newly bought land to bring about food, or in other words, bread. His Majesty asked kindly for more volunteers to join the Army of Castille to bring Peace, land and bread.

In completely unrelated used, the blockade around Espana meet with the Servintain Flotilla and escorted them to the Espana port cities to distribute to Espana, claiming it was for filling the King's Promise.

Earlier today the Audaliyanese War of Two Coups was declared officially over. Soldiers received awards, families compensation for loss and many hope. Numerous Imperial Guards attended the event, but were unfortunately forced to spend much if their time ensuring that terrorists did not attack during the ceremony.

The event recognised the most valiant soldiers in the war, including a variety of veterans ranging from submarine commanders to helicopter pilots to elite commandos. Many told their stories of brutality, conflict and intense combat.

One of the most well documented was the capture of the PLaFAU battleship, the "Iron Fist". A squad leader in the battle, Kai Langmi, told his story about the boarding action just before the climax of the war.

"It was..rough in there. Clanking on metal, echoing through corners. Eerie silence interrupted only by your footsteps. And then suddenly, something flies right at you and you dodge it and then twelve terrorists come out of nowhere and you have to take cover and grenades explode, and then you fire back and take one down and have to fall back, desperately shutting the door behind you."

"I was joined by some Allied soldiers in there. They were good men, but that didn't save them from the snipers or the grenades or the machine gun fire. I come from a background of a pilot, so I can take a fair bit of sound. But it elude overwhelm most. Once, a terrorist jihadist form AQR somehow got on board and blasted us with bombs until he died. Another time, later on, we were pinned down by enemy fire and they flushed us out of their pretty good. I was clattered at that point. I could go on forever about how intense it was on that ship."

Many other veterans told their stories as well, from the Battle of the Guayang Sea to the Battle of Two Dreadnaughts to Operation: Mjolnir Australis. Pilots, captains and soldiers all recounted their battles, and one common theme was brutality. The enemy were always ruthless, and fanatically devoted to their cause. As one solider said:

"We just got dropped out of Suanyu. Those things were essential. But anyway, to the point. From the moment you hit the ground to the seconds before the battle ended, bloodshed was everywhere, bullets filled the sky and explosions happened every half a second it seemed"

Also introduced at the meeting was the ZADN-OV Mengyan, Zhongguoaodaliya's newest ship and the first of its class. The vessel is a helicopter carrier, designed to transport helicopters across the world and provide them with logistical support. It also functions as an amphibious assault vessel, although is difficult to keep supplied for too long if this is done.

Trial of Queen Adela

In the city of Essen, thousands of people wait outside the Essen city Courthouse as guests and ambassadors from around the world enter, waiting for the trial of Queen Adela of Genoa.
Queen Adela, born Lady Adela Réev of Dole, became Queen of Genoa four and a half years ago when she married the newly crowned King Fredrick I of Genoa. Adela and Fredrick had a wonderful marriage, though they faced hard times in the first month or so of their reign as rulers of Genoa. The loved by all couple hand three children together, Prince Fredrick II, his twin brother, Prince Roiel and Princess Sophia. When King Fredrick was pronounced dead after three years of ruling, Fredrick II became King, with Queen Adela ruling as regent of Genoa, ruling with Congress.
For a single year everything seemed blissful in Genoa, Queen Adela brought in culture and even created a nobility of Genoa, picking from minor nobles of Derita to come to Genoa. The Queen built building projects and created 25 different charities during her rule. Queen Adela and her father, Archduke Ousamane worked closely with the Genoese Congress, making all governing decisions with them.
However, shortly after the titular King and prince's birthday, a revolt started in Genoa, forcing Queen Adela to seek refuge in Rome with her sister, Queen Ionna of Chypree along with the rest of the Royal family following the Fire of the Genova Palace. Congress briefly declared Adela as a pretender of the throne, though this was not recognized by any other nations. Congress however quickly turned against itself and in the Coup of February, General Hereschi took power and declared himself King of Genoa. Queen Adela, the Royal Family and the Royal Court returned to Genoa, the two monarchs ruling without any connections, until Queen Adela and King Hereschi were married later.
Once again all seemed well in Genoa, and a brief rebellion was put down by Queen Adela and her husband. But now, less than a week ago, riots and protests against Queen Adela, with blood thirsty revolutionaries wanting her death, escalated into civil war with in Genoa. Adela, growing strong in her powerful position, refused to leave Genoa, though the Princes and Princess were taken to Rome to be cared for by their Aunt. It was not until the Genova Palace itself was breached that Queen Adela finally fled to Monte Carlo. In Monte Carlo, with Adela rallying a army, it was discovered that King Fredrick's death had been a lie, faked by revolutionaries against him. Queen Adela quickly annulled the marriage between her and Hereschi and in the
Monte Carlo Coup, disposed of her ex-husband. But even as the revolutionaries fall from King Fredrick's and Queen Adela's might, nations supporting the ill fated rebels still call for Adela's head.
Because of this, Queen Adela of Genoa has called for her trial, to prove her innocence of the tyrannical crimes that she is accused of. If Adela is found guilty, she shall be exiled to the isolated island of Saint Corvo, a great risk for the Queen, and now people rally to her, to watch her prove her innocence.

Empress Alanna of Polonge, sister of Emperor Christopher II gave birth to her second child, Archduke William V of Polonge today. The Princess of Derita had her second child, only a few years after her first birth, with Emperor Francis of Polonge. Five year old Crown Princess Joséphine now has a younger brother. The child's full name is His Imperial Highness Prince Guillaume William Ferdinand Francis Volonté- Heinirich Archduke of Polonge. The Empress is currently recovering very well.

The Emperor of Derita had begun to build a new city in the countryside of Derita. The city, Nouveau Versailles or New Versailles, is to be finished within a two year period. The building site if the town is currently at the village of Nouveau Canal du Trône and construction has already begun. The idea of the city was originally to be the capital and headquarters of the Monarchist Federation.
