I have been trying to propose a WA resolution for some time now, but I keep getting a message that says my resolution is to short. My resolution is environmental, and effects "All Idustries". I have checked it's length against existing WA rsolution, and it is much longer then some. Please help!!!

If you go into the WA section of the forum, find the Environmental Proposal topic, or something along those lines. I think that I edited it so that my most recent draft is on the first page, but I might not have.

Understanding that planets inhabited by sentient beings have natural environments that are fast disappearing, and are in need of protection.

Believing that the aforementioned planets will need the environment to sustain future generations of all species.

Further Believing that it is the duty of all Nations to protect the natural environments of their domain.

Creating the World Assembly Environmental Protection Agency (WAEPA), to carry out protectve duties of all protected areas, as specified by this resolution

Noting That this Act is for the purpose of specifying environmental procedure of which all Nations are required to come into compliance with.

The World Assembly therefore:

A) Requires all nations to create protected reserves of each their individual and unique biomes (environment), and for each protected land reserve to consist of 5% of the specific biomes land mass.

B) Requires all nations to identify biomes (environments) under the headings Grassland, Marshland, Mountain Range, Tundra, Desert Region, Forest Region, and Water Region.
1) The heading Grassland implies: any area that is most commonly inhabited by grass, or grass like vegetation
2) The heading Marshland implies: any area that is mostly inhabited by tall grass like structures, and/or trees, but that is also made up partially of water, or a water like substance
3) The heading Mountain Range implies: any area the is mostly of mountainous terrain, containing a select few forms, or no forms, of vegetation
4) The heading Tundra implies: any area sparsely vegetated, which acclimatized towards creatures suited to an extremely cold environment
5) The heading Desert Region implies: any area, which is sparsely vegetated, which is acclimatized towards creatures suited to an extremely hot environment
6) The heading Forest Region implies: any area mostly inhabited by large, tree like, structures
7) The heading Water region implies: Any area in which aquatic animals live within water, or a water like substance

C) Requires all nations to protect designated areas, implying
1) No destructive sentient activity is to occur within the boundaries’ of the protected areas
2) Environmental Officers, hired by the WAEPA, are to patrol the protected areas, to ensure that the protected area is not being harmed
3) The protected regions are to be previously untouched by sentient activity, or must be the least untouched of the entire nation’s area, so as to create as little upheaval as possible
4) Poaching within the protected areas is against the law. The punishment for poaching in a protected area is a minimum of confiscation of anything poached within the protected area’s boundary. Each nation may add additional punishments on a case-to-case, if deemed necessary.

D) All destructive activity within the newly created protected areas is to cease as quickly as is convenient for the inhabitants, and all companies must attempt to repair any damage that their activity may have caused

E) Any construction that is occurring within the protected area, when the Nations are brought into accordance the act, will be allowed to finish, with the exception of any construction project that would damage the environment of the protected area, for a long period of time afterward.

F) Destructive activities are considered any activity that would decrease or damage the area, or natural resources of the protected area, including but not limited to;
Logging, mining of any sort, construction of structures intended for profit of the creator

And by the way, I'm really impressed by how many grammar mistakes you fit into that little post, not even counting "Idustries" and "rsolution". Your proposal is "too" short, it "affects" all industries, you've checked "its" length, and it is longer "than" some. This doesn't bode well for your proposal.

With all due respect, I believe that grammatical accuracy is only important within the resolution. Even those few mistakes barely hamper the readers ability to understand what i am saying. Also, I usally type much better then that (it was late, and i was tired).I have passed this proposal through seven pages of edits in the WA forum, so I think that any grammatical errors got picked out in the first page. The rest was content. If you do notice any grammatical errors in the resolution though, then feel free to point them out to me.

Maybe you need to use another spellchecker and run it through the WA again... I count 1 spelling mistake and 6 grammatical errors on my first read through of your resolution.
