[Report] Illegitimate Moderation Intervention?!!

During Major update, 22nd January The Black Riders tag team seized successfully delegate position of Zhaucauozian Friendship. Current Delegate should be still Rehosah as Minor update is still few hours in a future (next possible moment for delegate change).

Is it normal custom to change arbitrary delegates by moderation rulings, based exactly what!?

I do not take screenshot. I try to trust the moderation, but it is hard thing to do. Any rules were not broken, and I know for sure I tagged the region.

Delegates are elected only during updates. Rehosah was elected during last update (Major, 22nd January UTC). Why it is not WAD?

2 hours ago: Three Weasels withdrew a request for embassies between Zhaucauozian Friendship and The Black Riders.

I requested embassy with tag and TBR following TBR tagging protocol. How I could do that if I was not WAD?

I'm Risking now hard crime of "spamming Moderation", but I demand Answer. Officially. Here in this thread.

I am still elected delegate (Rehosah) of the region... if the moderation follows the rules of the game.

All raiders are made already familiar with this case. GHR filed directing to this thread.

This is an absolute outrage and Corvax request for transparency are entirely reasonable. You should not hide behind close doors procedures when a Moderator has so blatantly cheated for his OWN personnal benefit in his OWN region. Everyone should witness it and question mods fairness when playing the game.

I surely hope The mod founder of this region will be punished accordingly for reinstating his delegate BEFORE the next update just to clean a tag. If a mod can abuse his power for somethng so petty. Think about when it matters..!

Last week, on Thursday January 22, 2015, I fucked up. I accessed my region's information behind the scenes and made a change to the delegate. This action was based on misinformation and I failed to seek clarification, and in this way, I self-moderated. Additionally, I removed two posts, which I believed to contain gloating, an action I should have turned over to a peer. I erred in judgment by self-moderating and acting without information.

I was wrong and I sincerely apologize for my actions, including my lapse in judgment and self-moderation. My peers have reviewed my actions, and the site administration has issued a formal reprimand.

One would presume it works the same way as a warning does for members of the forum; consequences, no, but ramifications, certainly. Further errors in judgement would lead to issues.

Misinformation. Kyro has been anti-raiding for a very long time. Kyro, who has been in this game for this long? It seems more like blatant bias against raiders. My organization's tag was illegally removed by a moderator. And a slap of the wrist seems to have been administered. What is stopping other anti-raiding mods from going on "misinformation" And ending an occupation? "Oh, it was a fluke. My apology."

I understand I may not be seeing the "whole" picture here, but we honestly thought this case of cheating would be taken a bit more harshly.

Look, as someone said before everyone makes mistakes. This is being handled by the upperlevels (mods/admins) and they will come to a conclusion based on what they found. This is not the end of the world as "some" are taking it. She made a mistake, she apologized so let's stop nit picking the little things.

The misinformation was based on outdated information on how the system works. It was an isolated, and honest mistake that as Kryo has explained, she choose poorly in addressing. It doesn't excuse the action, but it does explain it.

What 'stops us' is having a better understanding of the system, of working within the system legally, and being firm in our commitment to not acting ourselves on incidents where we are directly involved. If the admins choose to disclose their thoughts, and what has gone on between themselves and Kryo, that is their choice.

But this was not, given all the information gathered, and lengthy discussions held behind the scenes, a case of deliberate cheating. There is a huge difference between knowingly cheating to get what one wants, and mistakenly fixing what one believes is a mistake in the system. Now that things have been clarified, Kryo knows what happened, knows how to avoid it, and has made a firm conviction to not take any actions like this in the future. Given her longstanding, and dare I say stellar performance up to this point, I myself have every cause to believe her.

All of our actions are logged in the system. No one of us can hide any action we take. We are held accountable by our fellow mods, and the site administrators. None of this has been taken lightly, or casually dismissed by any on the team, least of all Kryo.

While we cannot tell you what to believe, or how you should feel about it, I hope that we as a team will be able to confirm the trust we've had placed in us, and in the case of those who have lost some of that faith, to earn it back.

We are human beings, mistakes tends to happen. Personally I have no hard feelings against any moderator generally or Kryo particularly. :hug:

I hope this could be constructive collective learning experience for everyone and that these kind mistakes would not happen in the future.

Simply put. This kind situation can't happen in delegate elections by the 'physics of the multiverse':
