Our world is not perfect. It is plagued with corrupt regimes, blood-thirsty warmongers and other entities that choose to do nothing but cause more pain for mankind. They do it for their beliefs. They do so for many reasons. All the reasons have different name, but in truth, they are just masked to not reveal their name: Bloodshed.

We, the Bridge of Peace strive to end bloodshed. Ours is a deed, but of much difficulty. Together we have that one cause, stopping conflict. Making the world a better place. Conflicts vary. Ethnic cleansing, civil wars, invasions. But allied, we are a formidable group. In this world, there are massive conflicts. Governments lose men, which is indeed, a loss for the government. But they do not realize the true casualties: civilians. The horrors have been faced around the world. From Iraq, to Ukraine, many have found pain. They do not want to flee; their current financial situation forbids them to do so.

We are not just being peacekeepers, to insert troops to another country. We use diplomacy. War without more casualties is a much more better cause. Conflicts are dangerous. They cost. Economic funds are raised by the Bridge of Peace to help those in need. We help those who have been injured by the conflicts they were stranded in. People lead sad lives in war zones. We evacuate those people. We heal those people. We help them live much better lives. We lead them to better places. Places where life will be much easier. People in the world are losing hope. We are hear to bring back the hope. We are here to make a Bridge of Peace.

Basically, this is an NS Forum Version of the UN , but with no nations yet. Yes, I know there is an NS version of the UN, but that mainly covers Gameplay and such.
Of course you can join this. But your nation can't constantly invade others. Sure, being involved in wars is allowed. But fighting against another, and you are the instigator, and doing so constantly, nope. Not allowed.
In something good, if you would like, the Bridge of Peace Organization will also purchase things. So from arms for peacekeeping, to building bases, you can be the service person. BUT, you must have a storefront or an existing GE&T object. We will also purchase things in factbooks to an extent.
This is not just NS. We also do things in most of diplomacy. As stated, we do GE&T, II, but we also do F&NI and NSSports! Hopefully, that is
DO NOT Flame, Flame-Bait or cause arguments. Take the banter to the TGs please.
Non-members may form communiques for aid from the BOPO to their nations for citizens. Members may request threads to start operations in.

The Bridge of Peace has a council-type infrastructure. There are administrators for each of contingents. That means there are administrators of military, diplomacy, economy, human rights and finally, medical. They mainly bring on matters of concern to the BOPO council, which, if endorsed by a majority of people, will be executed. If someone brings in a matter, the administrator, should he endorse it, will then bring it into vote. There are three secretaries general, who have the power to veto, eject and ban. They first have a mutual agreement, and then bring the following to vote. Should one secretary general / administrator put on vote to impeach a secretary general / administrator, members of the BOPO council must vote.

The Bridge of Peace Peacekeeping Military is mainly used for peacekeeping around the globe. Member nations are requested to send soldiers to the BOP to combat conflicts around the world. Members also can put up a proposal to start peacekeeping operations in certain conflicts. OOCly, the OP in the conflict must be asked if the organization can intervene. If the OP has denied, we will refrain from posting or commenting on the reject and the IC. The Bridge of Peace's Peacekeeping Military Wing will accordingly discuss strategies in private. Not all of the Bridge of Peace will intervene - a few task forces will be sent. It may be mixed. In example, Bigtopian and Smalltopian soldiers may go in together, or maybe another nation will intervene as well.

Currently, 3 nations have donated troops for the Bridge of Peace Peacekeeping Force. The current manpower that the Bridge of Peace has is 3,346 soldiers, 75 aircraft, and 946 ground vehicles. Below, you will find more details.

The Bridge of Peace are currently not involved in any peacekeeping operations. Nor are there any operations at vote.

The Bridge of Peace Economical Contingent deals with economical situations. In example, to decrease poverty, the members may request to establish a fund for a certain nation battling poverty. The Economical Contingent also purchase weaponry for the peacekeeping force and recruits people to join the peacekeeping force and work-force. Basically, they handle funds and purchases. However, OP laws apply like they do in the military contingent. That means if a nation wants to have a nation-rebuilding RP, we may raise up funds. The funds will be public, and put to vote.

The Human Rights Contingent basically investigates human right abuses around the world, and adds them to the BOP Human Rights Report, giving details and such. Then, a lawsuit will begin, should the nation claimed to have abused human rights allow to do so. We will also request an event of such take place. And if they decline for this to happen, we will refrain from commenting, as said in the military contingent. This is purely for fun RPing reasons and should not make other nations flame the nation we will RP with for the pure reason. This is partially also to give more variety of RP choices in the Bridge of Peace. The judge may be a selected, neutral nation with good and fair RPing skills.

The Diplomatic Contingent mainly deals with diplomacy. They promote peace internationally, whilst condemning warring nations. In example, to promote peace, events may be held. Events may be sports events, contests, and other things. Condemnation is voted, and if that nation is very militaristic, the nation will be condemned. They also host summits, summits for peace, in example, talks for ceasefire and such. Laws are also handled here. In example, laws to ban a certain thing within member states.

The Medical Contingent deals with humanitarian missions, sending doctors to train people first aid and other things. Interestingly, the contingent also deals education. During the missions, children rescued and helped may study in make-shift Bridge of Peace facilities. They also train doctors in countries for quick situations. Most of the times, they are protected by the BOP Peacekeeping Force, and mostly comes after the force has intervened.

There are no missions, or missions at vote.

Alright, so I'm so greatful that we've got a handful of nations now! Thank you so much guys, and I hope you'll have some fun times with us. But screw the damn formalities. This is OOC too, so you can speak , but mainly about topic. Sadly, we can't speak about cookehs. But remember, this will also open a handful of RPing possibilities to us. So remember, you can see we've got an empty list of events, none at vote either. Nor any operations. Of course, a friend of mine has requested we go forth for an operation in his esteemed nation. A poll will appear in this thread, whether or whether not to intervene. REALIZING Manjuguo is a free, sovereign nation that is and has been independent, whose people choose to be independent.

NOTICING the Empire of Wangdai is a hostile, imperialist nation, that is ready for any invasions, ready for any condemnations with one reply: bombs.

My fellow nation-men,
I come before my fellow Kings and Queens, President's, Dictators, etc. in honor. But if there is one thing that we are all aware of in this game and in your nation it is that Persecution exists and can be a silent killer mentally. My country is founded off of something I believe in and something that my country will never give up. But, enough of me, people are persecuted because of their color, sexuality, and political decisions.
I hope that we can all consider places where our belief's are open such as making regions where such things are accepted. I propose that all the region owners will state that in their recruitment process that we are Pro: Etc. This way we avoid hot topics that will lead to "Hot Heads". How simple simply state where you and your clique stands. Like we openly support homosexuality and pro-abortion (EXAMPLE). That way if there is a war...it's over something serious not silly. This way we are known as an organized game where its free to state you opinion.
