A consensus of feederites and elites who were spread out between multiple Game-Created Regions who largely shared the same beliefs and the same experiences – mutant echoes of the Alliance Defense Network, The New Pacific Order, the Atlantic Alliance and, overall, the Great War (that had long since died in all but memory, psychologically and institutionally). The kind of players who would later be regarded as members of “The Empire” or “The Crimson Order” or “The Core” or whatever name they operated under with each power-grab as the game, NationStates, itself continued to shrink in size between 2005 and 2010, post-Influence.
