The name was picked when Hunter, known for having a bit of a temper smashed up a neon sign at a local club they played at. No charges were filed as the teens are technically too young to play in a club anyway but the reputation rather stuck. They were signed onto a two-year contract with EM Music Ltd. which gave the boys their sort of "down home image" of denim however EM Music has recently folded due to financial circumstances and the boys have sought out a new label.
