The MLS is in a bit of a quandary. The domestic game needs fans to grow at this point, but new fans to the sport are likely to get their needs overseas where the football is better.

Red bulls are on mass transit, they are pretty easy to get too, Yankee Stadium, where nycfc will play, is more of a pain in the ass for me and the seats are not oriented for soccer.

Given that I could easily sit there and watch a Test match (8 hours a day for three days) and indeed find it preferable to one day games...I've never had any exposure to hockey, actually.
