The Real Geth

Location: Sigurd's Cradle, Lenal System, Laconix

The Real Geth had worked hard to make their new home on Laconix, and in truth they still were as construction on a new Major Mining Complex and an Industrial Complex were just beginning. Despite the ongoing work on the planet the Real Geth had come to a consensus once more...it was time to become active in the Galaxy and show that the Geth were far more than the homicidal machines who hide behind the Veil as many Organics thought of them. However that consensus brought a new problem to be answered by the Geth, how do the Geth introduce themselves and who do they introduce themselves to first? Thankfully Geth thought at Light's Speed and so a second consensus was made in only milliseconds, the Real Geth would make amends with those they had forced out of the Veil...they would find the Creators. Furthermore another consensus was made, the Real Geth would find Commander Shepard, alive was statistically low, but even death could be reversed to a degree with the right amount of knowledge and tools...the Real Geth had the knowledge but the tools would have to be found after the successful recovery of Commander Shepard.

It was decided then that the Real Geth would send out one of their Frigates and their mobile platform to complete these two tasks. First the Real Geth would make contact with the Creators and do everything in their power to foster good relations between the Real Geth and the Creators. Then, if the Frigate and Mobile Platform weren't destroyed by their Creators (there was a 87% chance that some form of hostilities would occur between the Real Geth and the Creators) they would search out the system where the Normandy was patrolling before being destroyed by unknown hostile forces.

Expenditures of Month One
1x Major Mining Complex Cost: 30 Credits
1x Industrial Complex Cost: 15 Credits

Expected Month 2 Income: 56 Credits (Laconix) + 15 Credits (Base) = 71 Credits

Triarch Selas Lismir
Nos Selas, Illium

The receptionist greets the guest and gives him a room number. A pair of LOKI mechs escort him up to the Elevator and to the third floor of the small squat building. This city was strange as it was built high off of the ground, but all the actual structures were built on a platform and were no taller than three stories. Inside the doors waited the Triarch. She was beautiful to behold, as most Asari are. There was a subtle predatory look to her as she greeted Daniel.

"Welcome Daniel Leonard of House Fennec. Please take a seat anywhere, I do not keep a formal office as much as I keep a lounge. Now, what sort of goods can you bring to Illium? Remember, so long as you are labeling it properly, it can be sold here. Drugs, weapons, Indentured Servants, robotics, or any number of other things."

Another message popped up and she sent it to her receptionist to answer for her.

To: Henry Clinton,CEO of Apex Industries
From: The Offices of Triarch Selas Lismir

We welcome you to come to Illium and present your company. We can arrange for a transport on your world to pick you up and bring you to Illium. From Nos Astra Spaceport a shuttle car will bring you to Nos Selas for your meeting with the Triarch Selas Lismir. I have sent you boarding passes and a shuttle car number. We look forward to your visit to Illium.

Loose Handed Gunsmuggling
Nos Selas, Illium

Daniel Leonard knew the score before ever stepping out planet side. The Asari Triarchs always played a power game when it came to trying to get the best deals and get the most product through their market. House Fennec and its weaponry had a renown for being high quality weaponry, so now doubt this will land her more prestige in the whole hindsight. Daniel began to speak," Well, as you know that House Fennec is by and larger one of the largest arms dealers in the Terminus and with aMedieval flair we are known to be on parting with other political powers such as the Alliance and we are looking to bring the weaponry to your markets for mass production and distribution across the trade routes of which Illium has many. So I an trying to see what can I do to put House Fennec on the planetary market."

Capek,Haskins system

Almost simultaneously, three messages from three angry Krogan Warlords had came on the messenger screaming for guns in exchange for credits. As wild as it seemed, the Denfather was smelling something fishy about this. He knew that a few freighters have been known to sneak by the stations and can get a king's fortune or get obliterated by the guns of a station. Giovanni called in Augustine and the Inquisition to help him out with this task of seeing what is going on Tuchunka. He knew that Clan Urdnot Wrex and Wreav were in the process of building their world back to a prewar state, which is only half of the battle for them since they also needed to try and reverse the Genophage and that will have to be a great doom on the Council for that to happen. He tasked the Inquisition to look into these matters with the Council and see what's up I'm that corner of the galaxy for in the meantime, the House will send some of its best smugglers to go and see if they can run the battlestations and get the weapons to the Warlords.

Palaven, Apien Crest

A silver world of fortresses and fire. These were the words an Asari diplomat had used to describe her impressions of Palaven, and she was spot on. The Turian's militaristic behavior permeates every aspect of Palaven's society, from art to politics, as well as strongly influencing its population of 6.1 billion people. Palaven was highly urbanized, containing many large cities, but it also was highly defended. This was the reason the planet had never been occupied by an invading force- that, and the fact that the will of the Turians to defend their homeland is extreme.

However, recent events had surprised the people of Palaven and much of the rest of the Hierarchy. Primarch Fedorian had ordered 20 new infantry divisions to be created from scratch. As a result, 600,000 soldiers had been conscripted into the military. Another Turian Spectre had also been chosen by the Council. By the time the military build-up was complete, Fedorian stated that at least 5,000,000 new soldiers will have been trained and mobilized, and hundreds of new starships will have been constructed. The Primarch had still kept his plans to destroy the Geth secret. The soldiers would not know who they would be fighting until the very day the invasion of Geth Space began.

All over Palaven, tens of thousands of recruits were rushed in to the various military bases across the planet. They waited in long lines at processing centers, carrying their uniforms (which were wrapped in brown packs) in their hands as they waited for Turian officials to let them into the base. Some recruits were also sent up to Menae, a moon of Palaven, for extreme survival training. Civilians looked on...although some got a bit too curious and got too close.

In Cipritine, the capital city of Palaven, a Turian with a camera managed to get inside a processing center and began recording. The Turian had been hired by the Salarians to transmit information of the military buildup to them, and he intended to get as much footage as possible.

Soon enough, an official noticed. "Hey, what the hell are you doing?!" he yelled. The Turian then tried to run, nearly dropping his camera in the process. "GET HIM!" the official yelled at a group of Turian soldiers armed with assault rifles. The soldiers chased the man, but the man had ran too far out. Determined to not let him get away, the soldiers fired several shots at the man, killing him instantly. The camera fell to the ground and broke.

The soldiers and the official ran up to the corpse. As a soldier picked up the broken camera, the official shook his head. "Fucking spies," the official said. He then turned toward the soldiers. "Cremate the body and destroy the camera." He then walked back to the processing center.

The Triarch was studying him. "I see, I haven't actually seen one of your weapons before. Perhaps a demonstration is in order then. There are two LOKI mechs which brought you up here. We will take them to the balcony so you can show me the damage that one of your weapons can do to them." She motions towards a large glass door that opens to the balcony. It is midmorning and there is hardly a cloud in the sky. A good day to do outdoor activities, such as shoot up a few mechs for practice or for display.

Loose-Handed Gunsmuggling,
Nos Selas, Illium

Daniel wasn't a bad shot but he knew he could manage with a House assault rifle. The LOKI mechs had shown up and popped open a crate and the gun had formed itself and activated. The gun itself had Celtic markings and had a sights that was holographic and static electricity shot between a Jacob's Ladder as it showed the flow of the mass effect and as it fire off a burst or two at the LOKI and dropped them with relative ease and he spoke," This is known as the Delilah, it is a more recent model that has been modified for the Housecarls and use in standards of the House's gunsmiths. They are meant to put a person down in a mid to long range fight. It has a VI holo-targeting suite as shown and can target friend or foe though friendly fire is still an issue like most weapons now a days. It is compatible with any standard issue weapon mods for different types of damage against a wide away of targets presented. It is a burst fire and semi-automatic so its main purpose is that of a battle rifle. The designs of each gun are Medieval in style because we like old stuff and want out weapons to be cheap yet exotic. Any other questions?"

Krogan DMZ,
Council Space

The Smuggler ship had started to make their way to Tunchunka but was stop by peacekeeping forces and the smugglers thought that their lives were over but the thing was that it was not Turians , but Salarians. It is uncommon for the Salarians to make an appearance as peacekeeping forces but knowing their history then it was apparently the big thing that happened. The Salarians had started to ask the smugglers questions and wanted to see the cargo and they knew that this was the House's freighter and they let them pass, which was strange knowing that something like this doesn't happen all the time and they were able to make it to the desert world of Tuchunka and went to the meeting points of the three warlords. They had made weapons that were made for the Krogan in mind that can handle the backlash against the recoil, but has the stopping power to skinny the hide off one. The warlords were pleased and took the entire shipments from their hands and said that the House will get its pay and will get it soon. With that the smugglers bolted back to Capek and told the Denfather what happened and Augustine confirmed that it is general fighting which makes them wander why they asked for them specifically. Though they should have the money now that they did what they said they would.

"It looks effective. I believe that they will sell very well to the thousands of different PMCs on Illium and the elite here always like having top of the line weaponry. You can consider this the first sale on Illium and I welcome your weapons to the Illium Market. There is an electronic document on the table there that will be of assistance for you. I need you to sign the bottom and hit the accept. I will do the rest, just have your first shipment and at least one person to do the physical selling at your first shop in Nos Astra. If it goes well a second and third will be opened for you. Should the business do particularly well we have a large arms manufacturing sector that you can build a new factory in to save on shipping costs."

The document was as she said. A long list of rules and regulations which came out at the end to mean two things: Don't Kill anyone and Don't damage the economy. The last line was the contract portion.

.... and the Honorable House Fennec shall in all its power continue to do commerce on Illium. Failure to continue commerce on Illium will result in the permanent banishment of all Fennec products from Illium associated markets and possible additional penalties if applicable.

The signature box was at the very bottom with a small green accept button next to it.

The Elcor Courts
The Citadel

Image

----Elcor/Volus Embassy, Citadel Presidium----

Ambassador Zaltan ended the call from Dekuuna with a silent sigh. Makani was only one man and yet in the past few weeks he had given out more orders than the entire Courts did in the last decade. That one should have been born human the ambassador pondered. Zaltan peered out the window, the sky was the same unchanging blue as always unlike the world around it. Workers and keepers were still cleaning up Sovereign's mess in the wards below. He missed the galaxy of a few years ago before the attack, when Elcors could afford to be who they are. Then out of nowhere Pol, the Volus clerk on the Volus side of the embassy, spoke up from below him.

"Don't tell me" behind the suit, his eyes were squinting "Let me guess...you're upset."

"Amused; you are getting quite proficient at this friend." The ambassador was simply amazed by Pol when they first met. His regular interaction with Zaltan's species has given the Volus an unique ability to read Elcors subtle expressions, a feat the Elcor was sure only their own kind were capable of.

"Tired resignation; yes. The Elcor government is undergoing...big changes." Zaltan drawled out monotonously "That means work for me. A lot of work."

From securing new arms deal for the military to expanding their trade routes, not to mention Makani's plans for finding new colonies or the dozens of orders he just received from the phone call, Zaltan was quite literally buried by work. He was just preparing e-mails to both the Asari and Turian Ambassadors when Dekuuna called.

"Ah yes, the High Elder taking over for the Courts. I heard the Council had a field day with that" Pol noted "Glad I missed that one, gotta thanks the flu."

"With genuine concern; I hope you have made a full recovery. Regretful; I'm afraid we have to continue speaking another time. I am , as you can imagine, extremely busy."

The Volus shrugged then left and Zaltan turned his gaze to the computers. On the monitor, the mails he was preparing remained as it was before the phone call. He needed to finish these quickly. The ambassador re-activated his assistant VI and began writing.

To: Asari Ambassador
From: Ambassador Zaltan of the Elcor Courts

Our most humbled greetings to the Asari Republics. I speak for all Elcors when I say, we have not forgot the Asari's part in helping us joining the Intergalatic community, which we are infinitely proud to be a part of. The Elcor has since played a small, but nonetheless, important part in contributing to the Council and to the world. Now once again the Asari Republics has a chance to help our people.

In light of the recent attack on the Citadel, the Elcor has come to believe that the passiveness in our past policies can no longer benefit the Elcor people. For the first time in history, we are ready to take preemptive action to expand Elcor's, and by extension the Council's influence in the galaxy. But to do this, our people require a place to take root and to grow. We need a new world to colonize. But as you may understand, for our people to thrive we require a planet with highly specific conditions, the type which the Council may not currently possess. In response, High Elder Makani- leader of the Elcor Courts, has recently put up a plan for an expedition to find new world for our people.

This colony is a chance for both the Elcor and the Council to grow into something more powerful. We are ready to arrange talks with your representatives at your convenience.

Our most gracious thanks

That was reasonably concise and to the point, Zaltan thought. He was still not used to writing for the alien ears for they hear so very little while their words carry so little meaning. But at least that's done, and the ambassador clicked send before beginning another task.

The Geth Consensus

Image

We Are Legion

Kaushus, Talava System, Caleston Rift

A lone Geth cruiser sat above the planet Kaushus idly, her pristine and perfect outer hull lavishly reflecting some sunlight off of her. Her mission here had become known to all the Geth within the consensus, most already calculated projected outcomes prior to the entire venture merely to check their margins and their ability to factor in circumstances. Most of the Geth within the ship harboured as programmes, but some crew lulled around and about, serving as the defence from any boarding parties. Not that they'd find some out here, but still. Suddenly, a message was sent out all across the ship - breaking the dead silence that was only interrupted by metallic footsteps prior.

Scan

And so the ship did. Probes and orbital scans were done in a flurry of mechanical movements and orders, and the lone cruiser began to slightly move from its position as it scanned different segments of the planets. It had been doing this across most of the Rift, looking for mineral rich worlds the Geth could expand their influence onto in order to increase their production capabilities. Some worlds were inhabited, but many were not suited for organics at all. Seldom did this bother the Geth, however.

Parnitha System, Athena Nebula, Thessia

The office of Matriarch Alenia Nyxemi was quite lavish, antiques lined on shelves build into the walls, exotic drapes covering the large windows that allowed the light to shine into her office. And not just things of Asari make. There were relics from the Turians, Salarians, humans, and just about any other species one could think of. As much at Alenia may not have like to brag about it, she was a very, very wealthy individual. Unlike many Asari who spent their early adulthood's venturing the galaxy she had started her career and had soared through the ranks of the Asari, both in wealth and influence. She had even spent a century as a commando just to say she had. Now at the age of 800 years, she had risen to the top, the de facto leader of the Asari Republics. While the regular e-democracy was still intact and the Matriarchs still held their own power, Alenia held power over the Matriarchs. She had been vying for the position for decades, and the final shove to the top had come not to long ago, though with considerable embarrassment to the Asari, at least in her eyes. Matriarch Benezia and her treason had destroyed her upper echelon support base and those Matriarchs had been pressed into the fold. Now it was time to expand the influence of the long-lived Asari.

"The Krogan? Why would the Krogan want a face to face meeting?" Nyxemi asked, turning to face the image of Councilor Tevos, a long trusted ally in another prime position.

"I am not sure, Nyxemi. Though my sources in C-Sec say their representative has gone to see Councilor Sparatus. With the reports of the Turian military build up, this could be...interesting." Tevos said, her hands folded behind her back and head tilted to the side slightly. Alenia nodded in thought. "Indeed it may be. I do wonder what the Turians are up to. This build up is not exactly normal. Don't see the Krogan just yet. Speak to Sparatus after their meeting and try to see what is going on, then you may speak with the Krogan." She said with a nod.

"Of course, Nyxemi. I'll forward you my report as soon as it is completed." Tevos said and signed off, the image fading.

With a sign the older Asari returned to her desk and sat down, flicking through reports on her omni-terminal. Yes, the Turian military build up was unexpected, and with no discussion with any of the other Council species...It was slightly unsettling. With that in mind Alenia had already ordered the Asari's own military build up.

Irissa looked out the window of the mid-sized office in the Asari Republics 'embassy' on Illium. The view was always majestic, a true marvel for the Asari species. She had been the special envoy to Illium for only a few years but her presence had no doubt made an impact. She wasn't the motherly image of an Asari most people seemed to have of Asari in positions of power. She was not a mediator or diplomat. She was a person who got results, and it had served her and the Asari well. So far her mission had been simple; To maintain current relations with Illium. Not entirely challenging. But now Thessia desired to increase the relationship to a proper trade agreement. The message was already typed up with the proper authorizations included.

Triarch Aleena
On behalf of Thessia of Matriarch Nyxemi I have been asked to speak with you and authorize further trade and relations between our two nations. If this is of interest to you, as I suspect it is, please contact me as your earliest convenience.

Council Specter Tela Vasir sat in a dark corner of the Lounge. She knew she had eyes and cameras on her, this was Illium after all, but she was rather positive nothing would really come of it. She was a rather well paying and constant visitor to the planet during her duties as a Specter, and had directed plenty of other such individuals to purchasing things here on Illium. Right now she was waiting for a Specter comrade of hers, a Salarian. She had just finished up taking down a rather vicious den of criminals that had made the mistake of bringing their business into Council space when a priority message from Councilor Tevos had ordered her on a new mission, which was to be undertaken with the Salarian Specter and with utmost secrecy, though Specter business was usually of that type.

Loose-Handed Gunsmuggling,
Nos Salen, Illium

Daniel signed the contract and solidify the opening of markets from Illium and it has started the rise of the House's arms in the galaxy, at least the northern portion. He smiled and said,"thank you for your time and I must go off to the House to notify of the recent development." With that he left and started to get organized to have a representative work in their name in their new shop on Illium. In the mean time they had to start working on trying to solidify their grip in the Amun system by contacting the only people with significant influence and try to establish a deal with them so they can expand in the system without having to fight the Eclipse.

Afterlife, Omega, Sahrabarik System, Omega Nebula

"We'll have to deal with them eventually. Why not now?" Lyessa asked over the blaring music that filled Afterlife. She was Aria's de facto second-in-command, and head of the military; if not for her own loyalty to Aria, she would've already taken Omega for herself, but she owed Aria too much.

It wasn't every day that you were saved from a band of pirates by the Queen of Omega; she may have been a former Commando, but not even she could fight whilst she was asleep. She'd just been having some leave, sleeping, before they burst in, grabbed and cuffed her, and headed off for their ship.

If not for that they'd forgotten to pay Aria's new 'docking fee', she'd have been sold somewhere far from Omega into slavery. But they hadn't, so Aria and her bodyguard stormed the ship and took it for themselves. Most of the freed slaves had vanished into the faceless masses of Omega, but she stuck around with Aria, eventually becoming her second with Bray as her own second and commander of Aria's bodyguard.

"We have the forces to force one, perhaps two out, but not for all at once." Aria replied. "We may have numbers, but the mercs are dug in with superior training than our own troops. Better equipment can never make up for good troops, which is why I keep you my bodyguard around.

"One, perhaps." Lyessa relented. It was never a good idea to completely stand up to Aria, not unless she planned something completely stupid. And moving against the companies one at a time wasn't stupid in any way. "The Blood Pack first? The other two can be... Reasoned with, or otherwise bribed to defect, and their troops are at least civilised. The Blood Pack are anything but."

"Why not?" Aria shrugged. "We'll deal with the Blue Suns after the Blood Pack have been crushed, and Eclipse afterwards. I'll let you issue the orders." She turned, looking out over Afterlife's main floor. "I have other things to do."

Lyessa nodded, stood, and left, hurredly typing in orders on her Omni-Tool.

Sparatus frowned. The proposal the Krogan had made was.....unreasonable.

"Even if we were to agree to your proposal, I highly doubt the other Council members would support dissolving the Krogan DMZ," Sparatus replied. "If you want full support, then you are going to have to convince the Asari, Salarians, and the Humans to agree." Sparatus then remembered that Fedorian said he had an "idea", and thus was now hoping that he would speak up.

Fedorian did indeed speak. "I have an idea," Fedorian said to the Krogan. "The Turians could provide you with weapons and decrease our presence in the Krogan DMZ, but only on one condition- after the Turian military buildup is complete, we have plans to engage the Geth in the Terminus Systems, as they have become a large threat. You must provide us with Krogan infantry that will support our invasion."

Korx seems to Consider the counter proposal "hmm Agreed we will send you a list of the weapon we will needs in the coming months but if you want us to commit to a prolonged Campaign against the Geth you must personally ensure that no External threat can threaten Tuchunka while our warriors are away we also expect a share of the spoils of war fair enough?"

Sparatus frowned. The proposal the Krogan had made was.....unreasonable.

"Even if we were to agree to your proposal, I highly doubt the other Council members would support dissolving the Krogan DMZ," Sparatus replied. "If you want full support, then you are going to have to convince the Asari, Salarians, and the Humans to agree." "Very well then," Sparatus replied. "However, I doubt this will all be over quickly, so we will ensure that Tuchanka is protected, and that you receive your weaponry."

"There is one more thing, though," Fedorian would say. "What do you mean by 'spoils of war'?"

The Real Geth

Location: Sigurd's Cradle, Lenal System, Laconix

It was decided, the Real Geth could not wait for their First Contact with the Creators before searching for Commander Shepard's body. Rather they would act now, their second frigate and their bulk transport (carrying both an Infantry and Armored Division) would move to the nearby Omega Nebula only a cluster away before moving for the Amada system where the Real Geth would search near the site of where the Normandy was destroyed and on the nearby planet of Alchera for Commander Shepard's corpse. Hopefully the Real Geth would be able to do so without being detected by any other interested parties but the Thanix Cannon and the two divisions of troopers were there just in case the 37% chance of discovery by hostile forces was to indeed occur. Thankfully due to their closeness to the Omega Nebula and due to the Military readiness of the Geth they were quickly off and on the way for the woman who would improve the Galaxy's chances against the Old Machines by a factor of 5.27%. The race for Commander Shepard had just begun for the Real Geth, this mission would be essential in helping to prepare the Galaxy against the Old Machines as the consensus saw.

Illium, Nos Astra, Eternity Lounge

This was a planet of thieves and criminals where nothing was illegal as long as there was some profit in it. Where galactic stock brokers rub shoulders with local crime lords wheeling and dealing wares from across various systems. It was here that the Salarian Union had directed him to begin his search for a certain missing person. A person that the Union and the Asari believed would come to play an important role in the days to come. As he entered the bar he activated his omni-tool and proceeded to can the room for any sort of bugs or cameras that might capture his appearance. "Ah yes, I have you now my little pretties," cackled Jondum as he manipulated the device until after a few moments he whispered, " Pop goes the weasel." With that last deft movement he had disabled or blurred most of the audio devices and was currently erasing himself from the video feed. Grinning widely he then headed towards the appointed meeting spot he had been given by an Asari consort he had made an acquaintance with the other night. Sitting down discretely from the Asari he could not help but asses her from a tactical standpoint and judging from her equipment she was well supplied. Also her choice of seat made showed a keen tactical mind as it was near a point of egress, she was leaning back against the far wall with a clear view of the lounge, and she had what seemed to be several associates scattered around the lounge. Nodding to her in acknowledgement he then slid her a small data chip containing information he had just recently purchased from the Information Broker two nights ago on the Citadel detailing the last known location of their missing person. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance. The name is Bau. Jondim Bau," he whispered in a sultry tone. Well, as sultry a tone a slightly crazed Salarian could make. "I hear that we are to be working together fro some time now and might I inquire as to what I will be calling you?"

Krogan DMZ
Citadel Council Station 0035

The Demilitarized Zone or DMZ was set up immediately following the surrender of the Krogan after their defeat at the hands of the Council during the Krogan Rebellions. This zone encircles Tuchanka and ensures that the Krogan are unable to take to the stars again through military force. The DMZ enforces both the arms ban and the importation of eezo to Tuchanka. This zone is patrolled by Council ships and monitored by small orbital stations scattered throughout the system. Through this series of defenses any ship caught approaching the planet is either forced to land under Council supervision or shot down. This zone is enforced mainly by the Turian military although the Salarians have their own areas of supervision that they share in conjunction with the Turians. It would be through these joint controlled sectors that the smugglers would be directed to approach as they exited the Mass Relay system. The Salarians were sure to bribe or replace those Turians who would not be willing to turn a blind as the ships docked with one of the Salarian stations. With a slight nod to the pilot of the smugglers ship the station dock manager cleared their convoy to the planet as a simple humanitarian mission bringing medical supplies and genetically modified seeds to the planet below. The paper work would have to be smudged slightly but that would be of little consequence as the STG were masters at covering their tracks. Well, at least most of the time. With their clearance assured House Fennec ships rushed to the planet surface with their illegal cargo in tow. Entering the atmosphere the convoy then split up into three distinct groups towards their destinations. Hopefully the Krogan would keep to the deal and pay the smugglers. With the Krogan there was always a slight possibility that the expected would not always be the case with them. For House Fennec's sake the STG hoped they remembered to bring the big guns for Clan Jekrax since Taxxa was a bit of a violent brute.

"We are glad as well," Fedorian replied. "It was a pleasure meeting you."

Sparatus then got up and closed the door as Korx left. "Well, that went well," Sparatus said. "I sure hope this plan of yours succeeds, or else we are fucked."

"Don't worry, Sparatus, I've got everything worked out," Fedorian replied.

Illium, Nos Astra, Eternity Lounge

Tela Vasir spotted the approaching Salarian. Had he not been walking more or less directly at her, she would have a hard time guessing he wasn't just some random Salarian. As he sat down and slid the data chip over and seamlessly took it in her hand, plugging it into her suit computer. "Tela Vasir." She replied to his question just as silently as he had asked. She quickly read over the data and spoke to Jondim. "We're going to attempt to retrieve the body of a fellow Spectre. I imagine you've heard of Shepard?" She asked, lifting a half empty glass to her lips and taking a sip of the beverage. "And we are to enlist the help of one of her old crew, an Asari by the name of Liara T'Soni. My contacts already have a line on her. She's not far." Vasir said, setting the glass down and standing up. "Ready when you are, Bau." She said, already making her way to the exit.

Citadel

Tevos's contacts informed her that the Krogan representative had left Sparatus's office. She thanked the secretary and swiftly made her way to the Turian's office, it being only a short distance away. She keyed the door. "Sparatus, it's Tevos, we need to speak about some things." She said, standing by the door flanked by C-Sec guards. With a Krogan around she wasn't taking any chances.
"We've lost control! Now for the love of Earth...and the Sovereign Colonies, we've got to do what's right."

"Alright, I will talk to you later," Fedorian said. The call was then terminated. Sparatus got out of his desk and opened his door.

"Hello Tevos," he said. "Come on in. What did you need to talk about?"

In the Dirt We Built Metal in Our Homes,
Capek, Haskins System

The transaction was made and already being spent on improving their headquarters for they needed things that the other factions that were in their size had and they needed it more than ever. Their power was growing and the month was coming to an end and the taxes were going to be pouring in like digital rain be fallen in the collectors and be purified to be drinkable. They were thinking on making a spaceport that they can maximize on their growth and also started to push the march a bit more on Anhur so they can make their way to acquire the system and its resources such as the element zero stocks in the garden worlds.

This had became the largest expansion they had done so far and hope that it would not end on just that note. The push into the Traverse was on them and they will be ruthless in getting their needs and wants no matter what the cost may seem as "to much". The workings will make the trade and add on to their deal with Illium then it was all good for them. They have plans, big plans that only got bigger the more the galaxy was becoming more hectic as they had to focus on being just a minor faction in the Terminus, but something that can garner respect to all they know or ask of. Yet the Denfather thinks that fear would be more realistic than respect but it was not out of their reach for both.

They had started to do as what they had said to the most important people of Anhur and started bringing back the mining industry of the planet as it became the first of many projects that they wanted to establish as they seem to only try and jumpstart their expansion of the Traverse and the system's economy.

spend 100 credits
80 on small spaceport in Capek
20 on 4 mining complexes in Anhur
+62 income
184 income/per month

Triarch Aleena
Nos Astra, Illium
Tasale System, Crescent Nebula

Aleena was simply going over how she planned on getting back at Wreav when a message from Special Envoy Irissa arrived on her desk. She read it and smiled. While her counterpart, Selas was having discussions with small time terminus organizations, she would secure the trade agreement with the Asari Republics. A quick series of swipes across a board and she sent a reply to the Envoy.

To: Special Envoy Irissa
From: Triarch Aleena

Illium would be proud to host Asari made wares to sell to our citizens and tourists who have come from across the galaxy. Thessia and Illium will show the galaxy what a true meaningful trade relationship looks like.

The Apex Industries representative arrives just as the Hosue Fennec diplomat leaves the offices. It was a short trip along a well known route for both the transport and the shuttle car. He is shown to the office where Selas is waiting. "Welcome, please sit. What can Apex Industries offer Illium?"

The Migrant Fleet
Current Location: The Phoenix Massing

------Migrant Fleet Marine Command------
------Aboard the Venerim, primary Quarian military Dreadnought------

The massive ship that comprised a grand amount of the Flotilla's armed forces was buzzing with activity, even more than the rest of the fleet's crowded ships. Marines, intelligence officers, simple soldiers, newly-introduced Mech soldiers, and more roamed it's corridors, cargo bays (of which were implemented into training grounds), and hangars filled to the brim with fighters. The mechs were a new addition, and a rather controversial one at that. When Admiral Rias first suggested the idea with the assistance of Admiral Zorah, most were instantly refusing it; and with good reason. It was an understandable stance, given what got them to this state in the first place.

The Admirals assured that the robots would certainly not have AI implementation in them, nor self-awareness. The Quarians procured blueprints and schematics for LOKI, FENRIS, and YMIR mechs, along with a few designs that the Fleet's engineers conjured up. Of course, their own designs were still going through tests and trails, but the former bot designs had been tried and true. That was what the newly-created and very fledgling Artificial Corps of the Quarian Military was composed of.

In the central command "hub" of the bustling Dreadnought was military command, more specifically the Migrant Fleet Marine command. In this, the usual business went on; but the Marines had no true assignment as of late.

Until now, that was. Through a holographic tablet of sorts in the hands of Rear Admiral Noryl, and the unofficial commander-in-chief of the whole Migrant Fleet Marines, at least below Admiral Rias. Rear Admiral Noryl, her full name being Fia'Noryl nar Tservas vas Venerim, was a woman of esteemed merit. Known for being one of the most dedicated Marines of the Flotilla's life, she had been in them since she returned from Pilgrimage to chose the Venerim as her ship.....bearing a squadron of fighters as her Pilgrimage "gift". Some questions were best left unanswered; but it was a boom beyond comprehension.

In her hands, the holo-tablet continued to flash. It was an alert, an in-depth distress signal originating from a vessel. These usually meant assaults from an outside force, crash landings, or they found something really, really interesting. It was most likely not the latter.

Noryl tapped the tablet once, pulling up the message fully.

>>DISTRESS FROM VESSEL "Quivis"<<
>>SIGNAL ORIGINATES FROM-----<<
>>----STANDBY----<<
----------------
----------------
>>AITE --- TYPHON SYSTEM --- PHOENIX MASSING
>>COORDINATES: X: 54.321; Y: 76.553
>>VESSEL DETAILS: MERCHANT CORVETTE, CIVILIAN, QUARIAN IN ORIGIN. DATABASE MATCHES IT WITH FLOTILLA SHIP CENSUS

Noryl sighed audibly; she hated it when ships went down like this. Nine out of ten times, it meant salvaging whatever they could and preparing funeral services for those who were lost. Typically there were few survivors. She knew she couldn't leave it be though; even with these odds. She set the tablet aside, and opened her Omni. The Quarian woman stepped away from the fray of frantic banter the best she could, and spoke into it. It was addressed to Captain Kor'Zalis vas Venerim; a Migrant Fleet Marines captain and squad leader. He had been on numerous operations like this before hand: search, scavenge, and rescue.

On the other line, in a cargo bay training, a silver-suited Captain picked up his Omni-Tool. On it he heard the voice of the Rear Admiral, one of her top commanding officers.

"Zalis, I have an assignment for you."

------Around an hour later------
------In a shuttle, entering the atmosphere of Aite-----
------Squad Khela-7; team of Captain Kor'Zalis------

Image

"Five minutes to shuttle touchdown, Captain." A young shuttle pilot said to Kor as he sat in the back with three other Quarian marines, one holding a Mattock rifle, one armed with an Argus, another with a Tempest SMG. The captain himself armed himself with a Sabre rifle; and all four were armed with Arc Pistols, along with the squad's pilot. One of the male Quarians of the squad, of which sat across from Kor spoke up.

"Captain, what are we looking for? Valuables? Survivors?"

Kor was quick to answer. "Survivors, above all else. Even if a container of pure and refined Eezo is about to catch and burn, take a survivor instead. Eezo can be replaced, lives can't be. Not nearly as easily."

The shuttle flew down closer to the surface, and they broke through the layer of clouds, black columns of smoke came into view. The source lie below; a burning wreckage of a Quarian vessel; a smaller one, but still one of worth. Scavengers of the planet would likely be on their way, or possibly already there, depending on just how long ago the signal was sent out. Luckily, the Flotilla was still in another sector, because a question burned in the Captain's mind; what caused this?
