Current Status:

Alliance Tenets

1) We strongly support democratic reforms to carry out social and economic revolution to create an egalitarian nation.
2) We strive to remove profit motives in the economy and allow for worker cooperation rather than vicious capitalistic competition, to allow workers to have a say in a fair, humane and democratically managed economy.
3) We support a social “safety net” and strict regulation of business in order to protect the worker and those who cannot work from harm in a Capitalist economy and during the transition away from Capitalism.
4) We support social ownership of public necessities and providing them to all, free of cost, or at as little cost as possible.
5) We support global co-operation and both free and fair trade, in order to ensure advantages from the global market for workers internationally.
6) We recognize the intrinsic value of all living being and are dedicated to preserving the natural world. When there is need for the use of natural resources, we are committed to conservation and sustainable management such that it benefits all Placeholderstanis.
7) We do not support unnecessary interference in the personal lives of the people and oppose arbitrary enforcement of “morality” in favor of social freedoms, and stand for equal liberty for all individuals, including Freedom of and from Religion, LGBT+ Rights and Gender Equality.

Extensive Platform

The Alliance seeks not for a violent revolution, but a revolution that is social and economic and in that sense may be classed as revolutionary. We believe in legislating worker’s right to democratic control of their own labour, granting them power over the means of production within an explicitly Socialist economic system. The post-feudal class system that dominates Capitalist societies must be eliminated through the destruction of profit systems and a peaceful assimilation into the Proletariat.

However, such goals may take time to realise and we cannot implement such without the mandate of the people. Therefore, we advocate co-operation with the entire left to implement a progressive move away from the extortions Capitalism. We demand the enstatement of a national minimum wage under which workers may live and the right of every worker to unionise, encouraging solidarity amongst all workers. In order to ensure some measure redistribution of wealth, we support the implementation of a heavily progressive taxation system and the reduction of regressive taxes. These are measures to aid the transition to not only to a Socialist economy but also egalitarian society.

We believe that the government should not interfere in the personal lives of our citizens unless it is necessary to do so in protection of others. Human and civil rights should be far-reaching, unconditional and absolutely guaranteed to ensure the freedom of our people. As an egalitarian party, we shall extend these rights to all regardless of race or nationality, gender or gender identity; sexuality or sexual identity; citizenship or residency; religion, age or ability. We believe that societal prejudices should be swiftly pushed aside to eliminate social discrimination and to promote the development of a free and open culture, values and human relations.

The Alliance strongly advocates a society in which none are left behind. Those who can afford must provide for those who cannot. As such, we believe in extensive programs to aid the unemployed in their return to work and a strong safety net for those who have lost their jobs or cannot work. In any Capitalist economy, the welfare state is one of the few systems that can alleviate some of Capitalism’s sufferings and therefore we believe its implementation and extension should be one of the first steps of any governments.

The above principles also extend to protecting basic necessities from Capitalist perversion. Though some costs may be an unfortunate necessity, at least in the short term, we support the nationalisation of all utilities as an immediate goal and the extension of essential services to all free of cost. This entails an extensive public transport network that is cheap and accessible to all, a state funded education system and a university system free from tuition fees, the guaranteeing of all people to a single-payer universal healthcare and the nationalisation of all fuel or energy resources with the intent to provide energy to the people at the lowest prices possible without major harm to our environment.

Globally, the Alliance wishes to extend these goals. As such, we believe in international co-operation and free trade within nations - Maintaining a strong belief in the principles of comparative advantage. As with our social policies we believe we must aid those who cannot afford and we will attempt to protect the worker throughout the world. We do not believe in an extensive military presence to do so however and instead believe our nation’s army should only be employed in defence or to ensure peace.

Don't make massive, illogical coalitions that refuse to work with the far-left, and revolutionary struggle won't be necessary.

Also, we were involved in multiple party HQ raids, dozens of riots, an attempted Senate building bombing and outright rebellion. Much more than just blowing up the street in front of the RNU.

I'd caution against "Workers Party" as that typically unnecessary invokes class struggle. It's not that we should be afraid of class struggle as necessary, but managers have a place in a properly organized socialist society. I'd recommend we take "nationname Socialist Party." While I like a raised fist, that again is the class struggle we need not invoke right away. Instead, I'd recommend the final emblem be waited upon until we know a national symbol for the new senate, and place that in the center of a ring consisting of one side wheat stalks and on the other half a cog wheel.
