Dearest leaders of the federal republic of Russia,
You and I have long been known for our integrity. Though tensions between us are very high, I respect your nation for its strength and everything. I wish to settle silly land disputes and bring peace between our 2 powerful nations for the sake of our children and their children.

To: IDENTITY CLASSIFIED; Representing the Federal Republic of RussiaBoth of our nations face a sever threat from the existence of that horrific amalgamation in the Balkans. Not only have they shown blatent disregard for national soverginity to fuel their delusions of grandeur, but have forces dangerously close to your main grain production in Ukraine and our own capital. The redemption of the Albano-Balkan's eastern peoples would not only be a great morale good, but a boon to both of our nations. It is our suggestion that we co-operate to funnel support, money, and supplies to Romanian nationalist groups and factions in the local governments, in hopes of breaking the weak chains of Albanian rule. What say you?

To the Assembly of Nations, the following Proposal
Sponsor: Fassiad Mansour, Delegate for The Caliphatal Union of Islamic Peoples
Topic: The Status and Self-Determination of Peoples Abroad
The Assembly of Nations,
Recalling the terrors and great costs of the colonial wars of the 20th century, both to the native peoples and competing colonial powers, and the ever-rising ratio of damages to gains as technology improved,
Having Studied the post-colonial issues that faced the African content during the late 20t and early 21st century, largely as a result of arbitrary imposed borders, lack of local self-governance, and insufficient economic investment by colonial powers, creating poverty and misery for colonial peoples, though not to the level of direct colonization,
Reaffirming the founding principals of this organization, namely to protect to create a stable, peaceful international system and protect the voice and self-determination of all peoples,
Fully Believing in the continued merit of the above ideals, even more so with over an additional century of experience and social advancement behind us,
Noting with deep concern the advancement of neo-colonial ideals among the government of several nations, or the continued existence of territorial actions resulting from such ideals; pointing in particular to the officially declared 'colony' of Yemen.
Desiring the continuation of peace and mutual prosperity among nations, particularly in an era when war can be so destructive to innocent civilians.
declare the following to be our opinions and recommendations to the international community
Trusts that all member states will show due restraint in the use of military force, particularly when it is being applied on enemy territory.
Deplores the current situation of the Arabic peoples of Yemen, who have for over a half century been denied their rights of political participation.
Calls for an internationally-monitored election within Yemen, offering independence (possibly under temporary joint-trusteeship of a selection of neutral nations) for its residents of at least 10 years (To prevent any vote-flooding by any interested party)
Reaffirms the Caliph's role as protector of Muslim peoples, and our continued interest in their soverginity and well being.
Expresses our hope that fellow nations will learn from the mistakes of the past, particularly when it comes to the sovereign powers of Asia and Africa, who have already suffered from foreign domination once, and likely have no desire to do so again, by pledging to not partake in land-grabbing adventures, and condemn any nation who does.

Dearest leaders of the Federal Republic of Russia,
I contact you today concerning the nation of China. China has been violating the DMZ between us and them by shooting our people and soldiers. We wish that you be on our side should a war ever break out between Southeast Asia and China.

Lieutenant Ned Trembley stood out on the commissary green, looking straight up and waving. He had been there all day, just staring up and waving. It was a clear day, a rare bit of sunshine in April.
In one of the many offices with windows onto the green, Captain Henry Uxbridge watched Lieutenant Trembley with a quizzical expression. To his superior officer behind the desk, he asked, "Has he been at that long?"
Major David Ferguson glanced up from his paper, squinting his eyes and adjusting the ocular implants that corrected his nearsightedness. He cast his gaze out the window at the lieutenant, who continued to stare into the sky and wave. "Mm...yes. I daresay he has." Ferguson grunted a brief chuckle. "Since '66, if I'm not mistaken."
Uxbridge goggled at the major. "You're joking! That man has been doing...that...for the past four years?"
Returning his focus to his paper, Ferguson remarked, "He has. In fact, it's his one job."
Uxbridge's eyebrows furrowed, trying to decide if the major was having him on. Ferguson noticed and smiled. "But...why?" asked Uxbridge.
Major Ferguson set his paper down and looked out to the seemingly lunatic officer again. He sighed, as if saying there but for the grace of God go I. "It's quite simple, really: Warminster is Greater Britain's largest military installation. The defence ministry knows perfectly well that all of our enemies - and most likely our friends - will be lobbing spycraft over our heads to take a peek.
"Tell me captain, if you were an intelligence analyst examining covertly obtained images of a foreign base, and you found an image of some yob staring up at your cams and waving, wouldn't you find that just a wee bit unsettling?"
Uxbridge digested that for a moment. "Yes, sir. I suppose I would, at that."
Settling back to his paper, Ferguson said, "There you are, Captain. We can't stop all the spy planes from peeking. But we can bloody well give them something to peek at."
