International Health Agency (OOC, Signups)

The International Health Agency is a worldwide network of governments and health organizations dedicated to making people around the world healthier and safer. We are a force for good spanning the globe and responding to international health emergencies which affect a significant number of people. We operate healthcare response systems, administer aid to countries in need and spread information on how to stay healthy and safe to the citizens of the world.

Admission Requirements:

• Candidate must have a set health budget for their nation.
• Candidate must be dedicated to public healthcare.
• Candidate must have high civil rights.
• Candidate must be modern-day, realist, and modern-technology nation.

Additional Information:

Upon acceptant to the IHA, your country, represented by your delegate, will be given a place on the IHA Board automatically. This is specifically for IHA management dialogue, and is located at the headquarters of the IHA, situated in Nizahaza, Namayapata. You may then additionally apply for any committee of the IHA. You are welcome but not required to make a contribution to the IHA Emergency Response Team.

Yes, our laws prevent discrimination in housing, education (with the exception of schools run by a church directly), employment (except in organizations such as churches or parochial schools), and freedom from harassment. Very Brief History of your nation: Anollasia was first inhabited by a group of Hellenistic Lyrians who lived around what is now the city of Jefferton. They are believed to have disappeared around 1400 but it is unknown why. British explorers James Anoll and Arthur Jefferson discovered Anollasia in 1650 and founded the colony of Anolland. In 1650, Ottoman captain Mehmed Pasha invaded Anolland in the English - Ottoman War, taking the northern portion of the island which became Ottoman Anolland. In 1677, the French invaded British Anolland in the Battle of the English, Ottoman, and French. In 1686, the Treaty of Anollasia was signed, merging both Anollands and creating the joint Colony of Anollasia, to fight off the French. In 1725, anti-government protests occurred in major cities. One year after, Britain declared war and the Ottoman Empire soon joined, starting the Anollasian War of Independence. We got rid of the Ottoman Empire in 1745 and Britain in 1760. We became a republic and slowly grew until 1886, when a military dictatorship was declared. It lasted ten years until the people revolted in the Anollasian Revolution. In 1912, the Anollasian Act of Peace was signed, transforming us into the Peaceful Republic you see today.
