Welcome. This is Finland SSR, P2TM's friendly neighbourhood Dragon Ball fan, coming with what might be this forum's first even Dragon Ball thread! Yes. Seriously, P2TM has been running or years, but the world famous anime is not included.

Bleeding Kansas and Nebraska



From 1854-1861 (When the Northern States seceded) Pro-Slavery and Free Soiler forces fought in violent confrontations in the Kansas and Nebraska territories leading to many deaths on both sides during the skirmishes. As the battles raged on in the territories more and more men from both sides moved to the territories in order to shift a vote for the territory to be free or slave. The battles in Kansas slowed down in 1861 with its acceptance into the Union as a slave state raising tensions to an all time high.

Dred Scott v. Sandford



In 1857 the case of Dred Scott v. Sandford worked its way into the Supreme Court, the case was that of an slave who had been taken into free territories by his owner and found for his freedom before the court as the states he had been in had laws declaring that slavery was illegal and that any slave taken into their territory would be declared immediately freed. In a landmark decision Chief Justice Robert Taney and the supreme court declared that African-Americans could not and would not be citizens of the United States as the founding fathers did not intend for it to happen, the court also decided that states could not declare slavery illegal in their territory as it violated slave owners property rights. Soon slaveowners began to move in to the Southern Regions of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey where they started to set up plantations to grow various types of cash crops. Around this time anger grew in the north as plantation owner bough up smaller farms land and the conspiracy of "Slave Power" grew faster than ever with voices from the north crying out for the dissolution of the "slave-owners Union". Things could only get worse from there.

Riots in Boston and the Second Boston Massacre

As in 1859 tensions grew in the north what started as a bar fight between a Slave owner and a die hard abolitionist grew into a large riot as abolitionists and republicans ran amok throughout the town hanging local slave owners. Soon a regiment of Union Soldiers from Virginia opened fire on the rioters and a small gun fight broke out. Now secession became a common topic in the north as the republican party declared that the federal government favored the slave owners more than the common people and the only way to solve the problem would be to secede from the Union.

An attempt to mend relations

In early 1860 Stephen Douglas proposed an amendment that would bring the US back to the status quo before the Dred Scott decision in order to ease tensions and calm the secessionist attitude. Douglas was sure the amendment would pass with the Republicans, Northern Democrats, and a handful of Southern Democrats supporting the bill. But to his dismay the amendment failed to pass and many Republicans and a few Northern Democrats left chanting "Secession, Secession, Secession!"

The Second Hartford Convention

After the Senate walkout by the majority of Republicans secession went from being an idle threat to a legitimate possibility. This convention would be held at the Connecticut State House in Hartford, Connecticut starting on April 13th of 1860. Many in the press labeled this gathering the “Second Hartford Convention” after the convention that was held by the group of Federalists during the War of 1812.

The primary makeup of the convention was of Radical Republicans primarily from New England but there was at least one representative from every former “Free State” in the nation and even some a few from Western Virginia and Maryland. At the end of the weekend convention, a deal was agreed upon that satisfied almost everyone at the convention. They would support Governor William Seward of New York at the Republican National Convention. He was also the perceived favorite to gain the nomination. If Seward lost the Republican nomination, the delegates would then go back to their home states and demand that they secede from the Union. Little did they know how crazy convention season would be this year.

The Election of 1860

The Election of 1860 pitted the Republican ticket (Seward/Fremont) against the Democratic ticket (Breckinridge/Land) with the influx of slave owners into the borders states following the Dred Scott decision they voted narrowly democratic while the Great Lakes states, New York, and New England all voted Republican throughout the election trail the Republicans new that if they lost Ohio and Pennsylvania then they would be finished for this election and they did. Dissent in the North grew to unimaginable levels following the recent election.

Breckinridge's Inauguration



John C. Breckenridge took the oath of office to become the sixteenth President of the United States of America on March 4, 1861. In his speech addressed to the nation, President Breckenridge emphasized the following points:

1. The ability to own a slave is a fundamental American right endowed by the Creator, put into law in both the Bible and the Constitution. He thanks Chief Justice Roger Taney for finally extending this right to all Americans.
2. Asserts that he has the legal power under the Constitution “to preserve, protect, and defend the United States Constitution” and he will make sure that all laws are upheld in all states.
3. Yet he also states that he has no desire to use force against his fellow Americans, but he will do so if necessary in order to fulfill his obligations to “hold, occupy, and posses the property and places” that are owned by the Federal Government and collect duties and imposts.
4. Makes it clear that if the North chooses to take up arms against the United States, the rebellion will be met with a firm, forceful and swift response.
5. He calls on the Republicans and even the Federalists to come back to Washington in order to move on and deal with other issues like tariffs, rail infrastructure and other issues of the day.
6. He ends his address by stating, “We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies.”

Breckenridge would have been shocked to know that by April, ten states would have already seceded from the Union.

Massachusetts Secession Ordinance

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts

At a Convention of the People of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, begun and holden at Boston on the Twelfth day of March in the year or our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty one.

An Ordinance To dissolve the Union between the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and other States united with her under the compact entitled “The Constitution of the United States of America.”

We, the People of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, in Convention assembled do declare and ordain, and it is herby declared and ordained, That the Ordinance adopted by us in Convention, on the sixth day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and eight eight, whereby the Constitution of the United State of America was ratified, and also all Acts and parts of Acts of the General Assembly of this State, ratifying amendment of the said Constitution, are here by repealed; and that the union now subsisting between Massachusetts and other States, under the name of “The United States of America,” is hereby dissolved.

Done at Boston, the twelfth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty one.

The Dominos Fall

The secession of Massachusetts on March 20th was only the tip of the iceberg. Vermont and Maine fallowed suit on March 30th and March 31st respectively. It was expected that the New England states would secede, but Michigan’s ordinance of secession on April 1st came as a surprise to many. It had proved that the Federalist movement had successfully spread out of the Northeast and into the Upper Old Northwest. New Hampshire and Rhode Island were next as they both seceded on April 9th. Minnesota again proved that secession could happen anywhere on April 16th. Connecticut followed five days later on April 21st and then Wisconsin April 23rd. The biggest domino to fall came on April 25th, as New York became the tenth state to depart the Union. Governor William Seward managed to push New York to secede from the Union.

There were attempts in the other former free states to secede from the United States, but in all cases there were enough Democrats to block these efforts during the early part of 1861. It should be noted that in the four years since the Dred Scott case many slave owners and their slaves had moved into many of the Lower North and Western states. Their political influence in those states also began to increase as the years past since Dred Scott.

A convention to establish a new government was set for May 6th in Boston Massachusetts. The convention would be tasked with the job of drafting a provisional constitution, electing a provisional government, organizing a military and begin the starting phases of creating a new nation. One of the biggest questions of the day was what would this new nation be called?

While in the West the states of California and Oregon both seceded from the Union setting up to met for a conference in San Francisco on the 7th of May.

The Boston Convention

On May 6th, 1861 representatives from all of the eastern secessionist states met in Boston, Massachusetts to start the process of creating a provisional government. There were even many people there from states that had yet to secede, but they would not have voting privileges and would be referred to as delegates. The political makeup of the convention was about 95% Republicans and about 5% mix of Democrats and Independents.

The officials meeting in the Massachusetts State House building debated whether it would be better to create a provisional constitution or go ahead a draft the permanent constitution. They quickly came to the conclusion that it would be best draft a provisional constitution and was essentially a copy of the United States Constitution with some key changes. Slavery was explicitly banned, the term length for President would be extended to 6 years along with a 1-term limit and a clause that a convention would be called to establish an permanent as soon as the war was over.

Another debate at the convention was what they would call their new nation. There were many ideas proposed such as the Federal States of America, the Northern States of America, and the Allied States of America. Yet the most popular choice and the one ultimately chosen was the Free States of America.

After the vote on the provisional constitution, the convention determined that there would be a provisional Presidency and Congress until new elections could take place throughout the country on November 6th, 1861. All former members of the United States Congress that declared their allegiance to the FSA would make up the provisional Congress, while the Boston Convention would elect the provisional President and Vice President. Each state delegation would get one vote. The obvious choice was William H. Seward, who all felt had the United States Presidency stolen from. He won unanimously 10-0. It was realized that Vice-President had to be a moderate Republican in order to balance out the ticket. Some suggested Abraham Lincoln, but he was still against secession and he was from a state that had yet to secede. So Hannibal Hamlin of Maine was elected 7-3 over Senator James R. Doolittle of Wisconsin. The three western states of Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin wanted regional balance on the ticket, but they didn’t get it.

As the convention, there was an excitement in the air as the attendees realized they had just created a new nation. There was still much work to be done and war loomed on the horizon. Yet almost a month after the end of the convention an event would occur about 7 miles from the Massachusetts State House that make all Northerners excited.

The San Francisco Convention

Representatives from California, Oregon, and Washington met in San Francisco on May 7th 1861 and decided on similar principles of the original US except for prohibiting Slavery. The New Nation that was formed was to be known as the Pacific States of America.

Current Situation

President Breckinridge refuses to remove any men or material from forts in the Free States or the Pacific States and forces from the three sides are in a tense standoff.

The Year is 2016 and the world is on the brink of war after a terrorist group known as Virtus liberatrix(the liberating force)started striking against NATO, first attacking every United States related embassy around the world. Then they got bold with their attacks, striking New York's subway line. Next they attacked the NATO H.Q in Brussels. NATO, now almost completely destroyed has called upon Alpha Force to stop them.

We have a Player that's alone so far, a trio working in the same community, a pair headed there, and a few branches to elsewhere that we've used while waiting for a specific player and to set up kind of the next step. Posting Frequency: Varies. A lot. We've gone nearly a month without posts, and had a pair of players churn out a page in a week. Being detailed, it's not an insanely fast pace. Long story short, a disease wiped out most of the Earth's population. I believe OP originally though about it after playing The Last of Us, but there's no zombies or zombie like creatures. Just a lot of skeletons and empty houses. Since then, about 19 years have passed (Except for the story lines in the past ;P ). This RP is mostly about survival and interaction. How do you get by, how do you stay human, how do you interact with others...and so forth. Though pockets of it surge up from time to time, the dangers nowadays are more raider,s gangs, other diseases, and exposure than the fever. Most of the play to date has taken place on the west coast of the United State. We prefer that players mostly stay in North America, but the world in general is the setting. Right now, we have a settlement of considerable size that beat out gangs of raiders to build a peaceful, democratic, and decently armed foothold in Portland Oregon, and since attracted stragglers from all around. That's where several characters focus their activity at the moment. Further south, outside of Oakland, a scavenger, son of a old-world PMC, who's traveled the area and has a few debts owed by the leadership of the aforementioned 'Canadian Republic' has taken a wounded female ex-soldier under his wing (and into his heart, quite possibly). The two are headed North with a band of violent and well-armed rouge ex-military guys on their heels and after their heads. Further inland, we've spent some time in the ruins of Reno, divided between gangs (with one trying to rule them all) and a good-sized settlement, serviced by casinos and their underhand management. The whole area has some minimal power from geothermal resources nearby (We actually did some research on that one, we try to make things at least /plausible/) Also mentioned have been caravans traversing the middle of the country, small communities across the border in Canada, nomadic herders, and plenty of people who take tolls, lives, and whatever else than can behind a barrel. It's really a fairly open world - we do definitely have a few Fallout and other post-apocalyptic influences. The united gangs storyline is inspired by the Legion, and the Cascadian Republic brings to mind NCR, but there's no direct connection.

We've had several "dry spells," but there's a core of us that have never left this thing for quite some time. We prefer that new players do a little of their own thing for a while, though we're willing to set up a tertiary character to work with you, before interacting with out main people - simply because we've had plenty of people leave a post or three and lose interest/forget about us. Retconning parts of out main characters is a pain, so we like you to prove you're sticking around a bit first. Our two more recent joinees, Moon States and Seastea, ran together for a few weeks and are now part of the central plot, and that worked well, so we'd like to see something like that again. Umm... Reatra, the OP, isn;t around a whole lot, and one of our core, Azaflaza, has been MIA for a month or so, but the three of us I listed as Co-OP's keep it going. Oh! ONce you have one character, we don;t necessarily enforce apps for further ones. It's nice, but not as vital once you've proven you can accept that your character has flaws, can get hurt, etc.

Description
You suddenly awake from your slumber and look around you. You first notice that you appear to be laid down on a sort of operating table, naked with a bright light shining in your face. The next thing you notice is that your arms and legs are strapped to the table. You wonder if this is a nightmare, a vivid one at that. That's when you see a figure block the light. The figure is dark for a second but within a few moments your eyes adjust and you see a man wearing a dirty, bloody apron and a torn and dirty surgical mask. He looked down at you with blood shot eyes held in place behind a wrinkly, grey face. His hair was greasy and messy. Then you hear his voice "Don't worry. It will all be over soon" He says to you in a reassuring voice. Yet at the same time, the croaky and hoarse tone of his voice sends shivers down your spine. There was something unnatural about this man. You close your eyes and count to 10 in your head to try and wake yourself up. It doesn't work. As the man reaches onto a tray beside him and picks up a large, rusty knife and teases the end of it, you feel your heart rate increasing rapidly as adrenaline is pumped into your blood stream.

The man slowly brings the knife down to your stomach and stops as he presses the point into your skin "I promise this won't hurt for long" The man thrusts the knife into your flesh. You feel the coldness of the knife in you and then, the tightening of your stomach muscles as you tense up. Before the pain starts, however, you black out. You then wake up in a dirty prison cell bed. You quickly look down at yourself to notice you are fully clothed once again. Looking at the back of your hand you appear to have a sort of symbol tattooed onto it. It glows a neon green for a second before fading into the inky black color it once was. You get up out of your bed and look around. The cell is dark and murky. The only window in the cell is covered in a thick layer of grime and cobwebs blocking out most of the sunlight. Looking out into the hallway at the cell across from you, you notice yet another person waking up. You look closer to notice they have the same tattoo on their hand too.

Whatever is going on here, it's not good at all. And you have to find a way out of this...

Description
A supremem alien galaxy-crossing group crashes their spaceship on a world very similar to Earth around the equivalent of 800 AD. A medieval Viking-esque village is heavily affected by residual science and stuff. Some people from said village go out exploring reckage that is said (by some) to be sent by the gods or something. Explorers, adventurers, and such find a strange portal in bottom of ship reckage. It is only non-damaged looking thing. Two people bump into each other and both trip into the portally thingy. Some jump in to try to save them, or for adventure, or because they think it is a gateway to some sorta equivalent of heaven. They exit a portal similar, but upright and in a large building on a different world! The world they were sent to was the same place that the super advanced aliens in the crash were from, but they arrived in a post-apocalyptic world, the reason the aliens were leaving.(http://wallpoper.com/images/00/24/72/92/fantasy-landscapes_00247292.jpg) (Ignore pyramids and egyptian crap.)

The IC begins as soon as everyone walks out of the portal, onto the new planet.
Upon exploring they either die, get sold into slavery, adapt to survive, or whatever. The group eventually gets split up into various smaller groups (TBD). Explore alien world, understand culture, learn language, experience extreme culture shock, fight war, get worshipped by some, hated by others. The list goes on and on.

You could maybe: Eventually save people of same group that got separated or not. Make peace among alien factions or become a viscous warlord, or a prophet of a hero cult. Win the heart of beautiful (read rich, they are actually pretty ugly) alien of opposite gender. Commit genocide. Escape the alien moon (hahaa jk bout dat oune). Unite an empire. Betray your fellow humans. Plot has not been decided and will be player driven.

Additional Info: Because of size restraints, even if your character gets accepted, you may be replaced. The best apps will replace bad apps, even if I have already told your that you are accepted. You will have the chance to revise and polish your app at any time, just tell me when you are done.

The world is in ruins.
After a devastating war, with weapons terrifying enough to give you a heart attack, LITERALLY.

The world has been mutated, These weapons were called 'Genetic Bombs'. They rearranged your DNA anyway possible, such as giving you a genetic disease or changing the shape of your entire body. The people who wanted to stop this war were called the 'G.W.M.' or the Genetic Warfare Mercenaries.

After a year, Europe merged to form 1 large country, and was powerful enough to destroy all of Africa and the Americas combined. After North America was destroyed, South America merged, but only Brazil survived this deadly war. The G.W.M's relocated from Canada to Brazil after this, and an estimate of 4,800 survived. The last message from any country other than Brazil was: "The war is over."

You're one of the 4,800 that survived, and you're struggling to eat even raw meat. And the last refuge is an underground city in Rio de Janeiro.
This city is called the 'L.A.B.yrinth'

Description
The year is 1850 AD and the world is a very different place. Massive Empires have been created, with huge armies that are capable of war on a scale greater than ever before in the history of mankind. The beginnings of industrialization are taking root in the modern world, and monstrous machines have the capability to break the economic barriers of the past. Fleets travel the world, many towards the New World to make further discoveries. Massive amounts of cheap land, the promise of work, and tales of adventure have caused many to travel overseas to this new world. Similarly, the continent of Africa has peaked many interests, as its valuable resources and the excitement of travel bring people from all nations to bear.

Just as these lands draw in people, nations are drawn towards these areas as well. Many nations have created colonies to enhance their position, and increase their power. This is not an easy process however; the natives have to be subdued, and even after that, other industrial nations have to be fended off. This colonization has the potential to cause something the world has never seen before; a war on a global scale. Adrian Wyllie, Libertarian Candidate for Florida Governor, is preparing litigation against the Florida Press Association after being excluded from their televised debates this October. The third-party candidate started campaigning early this year but, polling only at 13% according to a recent 0ptimus study, will rely on these televised debates as his best opportunity to garner the public's attention.

"For too long, the Republican-Democrat duopoly has controlled the conversation, and they have used their power to silence the competition,” Wyllie said. “Their attempts to exclude me from the debates is just another example." His campaign has employed Attorney Luke Lirot, who worked on a similar case in 2006, describing him as "devoted to the cause of having the undeniable third option heard on the debate stage."

Dean Ridings, President of the Florida Press Association, is not optimistic for Wyllie's case. "If [Wyllie] had reached 12%," he said of an earlier function, when the candidate was gauged at 8% by a Quinipacc University Poll, "he would have been included in these debates... We don't set arbitrary criteria."

In 2006, Reform Party candidate for Florida Governor Max Linn faced the same trial as Wyllie's campaign does this election. With 8.7% support in the election — which Charlie Christ, current Democratic Party candidate won — Linn was excluded from a WFLA-TV debate and retaliated with a suit against the Florida Public Broadcasting Service, based on a 1998 Supreme Court ruling that Public Television-sponsored debates could not exclude candidates with legitimate campaigns. Linn's case was won, but an appeal overturned his participation in one of two televised debates.

The world has fallen, and the living have become prey for the dead. Description
The date is October 8th, 2016. The world is now in it's most dire moments, where anything can set a war off. Russia has renewed its aspirations to control Ukraine's Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and who knows if Russia will stop there? China has declared that it will assert control over its territories, namely Hong Kong and Taiwan. ISIS has become less extremist, gaining some key allies, but its savage hunger for expansion into an Islamic State continues. The United States is at odds with itself with the most controversial election in American history, with Hillary Clinton representing the Democratic Party, and Rick Perry representing the Republican Party, and Election Day comes ever nearer. India and Pakistan's rivalry has reached a fever pitch, with their nukes pointed most precariously at each other. Catalonia has demanded their independence, and Spain continues to refuse it, causing tensions between other nations and their dependent states. African nations, namely Rwanda and Uganda, continue to rock between stability and anarchy.

One thing can set off a war between nations, and tricky alliance systems are sure to draw many others into the fray. Who will survive? Will Albert Einstein be right - will World War Four be fought with sticks and stones?

Description

In the year 1800, the first vault of the Ancients released its secrets into the world. As technology beyond their comprehension flooded into the eager hands of rival empires as sword and arrow were replaced with musket and cannon the entire globe convulsed with war. For seventy years the fires burned as the interests of empires clashed, the slaughter killing countless and ravaging entire regions. When the fighting did cease, it was not due to a desire for peace and acceptance, but rather the consequence of decades of nations’ malnourishing their economies and people at the expense of war. However, eventually the world adjusted and began the painstaking process of rebuilding.

The year is 1890 and all over the globe, vaults began to reveal themselves and open. Scientists from all the great powers of the world were flooded with artefacts to decipher and adapt to the whims of their leaders. Today, the world is the midst of a revolution unlike any that has come before. Your nation has just emerged from the fires of the great cataclysm that resulted from the opening of the first vault, into a world unsure as to whether the great powers have learned from the disasters of the past.

Description
Earth. Once, a great world with 13 billion inhabitants all trying to find ways to improve the lives of those more misfortunate than they. Some might've called it paradise, now, it was anything but. The year was 2179, and an extraterrestrial fleet had entered the solar system. They came in the trillions, bearing down on the tiny world of Earth, but it was not Earth they wanted. They went after a greater prize. Our sun. Within an hour, the sun was gone, harvested for energy by mysterious aliens. Within the day, 98% of the Earth's population had perished. Humanity would never again be the same.

The year is 2345. What remains of the human race huddles around nuclear power plants for survival. Pyramidal cities stab at an empty sky. People are forced to mine for air, sending out rovers to collect liquid nitrogen and oxygen, as well as ice and dry ice. Subterranean greenhouses produce food for the human race, as well as an additional source of air. Nuclear power heats, lights, and powers the remnants of the human race, keeping it alive on the edge of extinction. Society has evolved since the darkening, as it is called, religions, cultures and ethnicities even have changed. Many of the cities have banded together in great leagues that stretch over the planet in great swathes. They will occasionally war with one another, fighting over food, air, or uranium. But humanity has reached the point where they no longer have to focus completely on survival. Man turns its eyes upward at a starry sky, and seeks for other worlds where life would not be so hard, and where paradise can reign again.

Description
In the far off year of 2153, humans have developed a method for making regular humans compared to that of Superman. By 2200, This method became quite cheap to use and eventually these "Supers" were more commonplace than regular people, by 2250, humans had set up massive cities all over the galaxy. Effectively becoming the dominant species. The supers had revolutionized quite literally every aspect of normal human life. Manual labor was one of the most profitable occupations, due to the speed at which supers worked. Entertainment was centered around "Super-fights." Fights where many Supers came to battle and slug it out with other supers to compete for prizes. Due to nearly everyone being a super, crime was virtually gone. Humanity had entered it's Golden age. One day, while mapping an unexplored section of the galaxies they came across a new primitive race. What set them apart from the rest of the other races, was the fact that the Lizard-Like Almians, as they called themselves, used extremely powerful magic. Magic powerful enough to go toe to toe with supers and even win. This was a shock to the humans and even more so to the supers. The suspect source of their magical prowess was likely the insane amounts of the resourcePlot-devicium Radion inside of the planet's crust. The ores was highly valuable, but simply taking it would prove extremely difficult. The Almians were extremely peaceful, simply shoving them aside and taking it wasn't an option for that reason and several more. The magic they used was powerful enough to go toe to toe against even the mightiest of their supermen. Meaning a war would be very costly. And the final nail in the coffin was that many humans had began to grow very healthy relationships with the Almians, and a small group of the public had even decided to toss aside superhuman traits for magic. The number was small but was growing as a "natural" alternative to the superhumans. Who's side are you on? The mighty Humans? Or the magical Lizard Wizards?

Description
Amarna is a place filled with mystery, adventure, and danger. Amarna is a very natural world, where humans are in touch with their surroundings. In the beginning of time, the Gods of Amarna granted their mortal subjects a very special gift. They began to create mortals that were gifted with spirit animals. This allowed humankind to transform into the animal that they were tied to. they also granted power over the elements, giving humans the power to control various aspects of nature. As humanity grew they began to form tribes, and finally kingdoms. These kingdoms were often based around their natural environments, and the shifters that founded them. The Gods also granted another gift to humans, though many consider this a curse. They created what are called "Moities", which means "half" in the ancient language. These humans have the ability to change into humanoid creatures with certain aspects of an animal. No one knows why the Gods created these creatures, but they are very rare and often discriminated against.
The kingdoms of Amarna had been at relative peace for centuries until known as "The Invasion". The Invasion started in the year 781 when the kingdom of Venicia enacted a plan to conquer the world. For over a decade before the invasion, the ruling family of Venicia, the Medici, had been building up it's military in secret. Once the invasion started they took the other kingdoms by surprise and won many quick victories, conquering large amounts of territory. The kingdom grew even stronger as it established colonies in its newly acquired territory and used them to feed it's war machine. The other countries were slow to react to the attack, but have now began to organize themselves to defend against the onslaught. Despite this, Venicia is a clear threat to the world. Not only do they have a powerful army, but the king of Venicia has discovered a dark secret. He has found a way to distort and corrupt spirit animals, turning those with bat spirits to vampires, and those with wolf spirits to werewolves. While things may look bleak, there is reason to hope. An ancient prophecy tells of seven chosen shifters, who will unite and save the world. An order of warrior monks have recently formed known as "The Servants of the Chosen", who believe that this is the time of which the prophecy foretold, and that only the chosen seven can save the world.

Description
In the near future, space exploration took a sudden jump in activity as precious resources were found via drones in the far reaches of our galaxy. These resources were filled with energy, and if harnessed it would be able to power most continents for a year with just a tiny fragment of the resource the first scientist who went out to acquire said resource did not come back. Their ancestors did though, since the journey was very, very long. To ease the lives of all peoples, these men and women who brought back the resources put all their time and effort into creating Jump Gates, devices that would connect different galaxies in a matter of days, rather then centuries. There was one catch though. The jump gates couldn't be used to jump anywhere.

Description
World War II, ended on August 15th, 1947 with the Surrender of Japan. This was the most important victory of the allies that ended a World War, but some things have changed from the historical spectrum. During the war, Franklin D. Roosevelt was approached by scientist to allow research on a new weapon dubbed the Atomic Bomb. The President was promised that the bomb would bring much needed victories, and make enemy combatants completely and utterly defenseless to the attack. It was spearheaded by Albert Einstein, who escaped the Nazi's in Germany to the United States. Franklin, seeing that the war should be won quickly did ponder the idea of making a bomb that no nation would be able to defend themselves from, but decided against it on the ground if anyone ever obtained the weapon it could mean the end of the Human Race as a whole, from the reports of intended consequences that could result from making the bomb.

In 1945 when Germany and Italy were defeated, all allied attention turned to Japan that was on the brink of surrender. Without the nuclear bomb, President Harry S. Truman and Joseph Stalin launched an invasion on Japan. Stalin's Russia took all of Manchuria, as well as North and South Korea in their advance, stopping and utterly destroying the Kwantung Army which formed the backbone of the Imperial Japanese Army. Allied troops lead by General Douglas MacArthur commenced their invasion from the island of Okinawa, into the Southern Area's of Japan, encountering fierce resistance. With Henry Clay's Carpet bombing techniques, led to a surrender in the year 1947 after two years of fighting. American causalities in the war were around fifty thousand, which was to much for the public's liking. Regardless, Harry S. Truman won another term, and the United Nations was established, but operates on a regional level of continents making it ineffective like the League of Nations.

In Britain, due to the high loss of life and damage, had to split off their empire into independent nations, but maintained controls over their Military and Foreign Policy, while allowing them to make their own domestic policies. Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, didn't mind this at all, and are firm supporters of the agreement. India achieved it's Independence, but refused to abide by the rules of new policy and fully established Independence, drawing distrust between the U.K and India. In Egypt, the United Kingdom and them go back and fourth. At times Egypt will love the agreement, and at other times will hate it depending on who is in power. Leaving a love/hate relationship going on between them. With this agreement, the world is effectively split between United States endorsing Free-Market Capitalism, Britain endorsing more of a Socialist & Capitalist system in one, and Russia endorsing Stalinism. Leading to a three-way Cold War.

Description
This RP has a fairly simple concept. Characters from different movies, shows, games, Etc have been taken from their worlds and thrust in to a new one. One where they must survive the threat of a zombie apocalypse. That may sound easy for some, but specific people were taken from those other worlds, people who would actually have to fight. But zombies aren't the only threat. Will the villains and heroes be able to lay aside their feuds long enough to survive? Or will they bring them to their deaths.

So, fairly simple. You play as a character from a movie or game or whatever, and they must survive in a zombie apocalypse land. To make it not just totally lame, powers will be highly limited. I will not accept characters that I deem too powerful. There will also be special zombies of various types which you will discover in the IC, just as you will discover most things in the IC. The RP will start just as everyone is taken to the new world, so they must learn and discover it. It is also possible to die in this RP if you make a bad decision, or aren't strong enough for what you're trying to do, so be careful.

Description The year is 2037, and for decades humanity has struggled fighting a menace that they have never seen before. Kaiju from all corners of our planet and the cosmos are destroying Man's final refuges. But none are as powerful as The King; Godzilla. There are five major organizations (Monarch, G-Force, CCI, Red Bamboo, and the Xilieans) who wish to eliminate their competition and survive in a world now dominated by monsters. The surviving factions wage war with the Kaiju and each other with their Jaegers and other forms of advanced weaponry.


Additional Info The game-play revolves around the players competing for both protecting human cities and defeating Kaiju with either Jaegers and other massive weapons.
