And so, a new league season of the JPL begins. After a crazy year last year, Mortsey eventually came out on top to record their seond straight league win. Nagelti Rovers were a revelation in second place, with Peswick Town and Ordbury Athletic continuing their strong tradition by cementing the other Globe Cup spots. Rack City Rangers slipped all the way to eighth, with Serbury once again fifth. Yonsolo United impressed as all trhee promoted sides stayed in the league, though it was a close call for Peswick Rovers. Lingham City, Clyville Albion, and Entown were the three clubs to drop out of the top flight. In their place come Ghindon, Chiddersley and Dinsdon Town.

The off season was just as exciting, with transfers from all around the multiverse going on as Jeckish clubs expanded thier horizons in the search for foreign talent. Only the next 38 games would tell them if they'd invested wisely or signed a flop.

Surprisingly, Nagelti Rovers are the only team of last years top four to win today, with a 3-0 win over Loderno sending them top - not that it matters at all at this stage. Mortsey started their campaign with a tough home game against Rack City Rangers, which the visitors took a 1-0 win from. Ordbury Athletic drew with an impressive Ghindon side, with Chiddersley also picking up a valuable point on the road against Galton United. Only Dinsdon of the promoted three sides failed to get off the mark, with a 2-0 home defeat to Poston. The Chiddersley match was one of three 2-2 draws this week, and Peswick Town dropped points in another one, with a home draw against Fillston United a disappointment. Kyslo and Peswick Rovers were the other teams to get a 2-2 draw, battling in a back and forth game at The Junction. In the battle of the two UICA chasers, it was the 'galacticos' of Colanso City who triumphed, an attacking performance resulting in a 2-1 win. Yonsolo United lost their opening tie of their second season away to Spindlow 2-0, with Byton doing the same against Panbury Town.

Although it's only the second week, already it is possible to see change in the JPL. Colanso City have proven themselves a force to reckon with, ripping up the Mortsey defence to the tune of 3-0 in front of a buoyant Beachside. The Surfers' opponents last week, Serbury, were clinical against some suspect Ghindon defending to record a hefty 5-0 win. Ordbury Athletic remain on only one point, a resilleint Peswick Rovers tactically outclassing them to win 1-0. Meanwhile, Rack City Rangers cannot follow up their win over Mortsey, capitulating 1-0 to an average Dinsdon Town side. Nagelti Rovers claimed an undesrved victory away at Byton, the Knights eventually prevailing 2-1. Peswick Town are another big club with a poor start, as in yet another surprise result they fall 1-0 to the passing game employed so effectively by Poston at Memorial Park. Loderno are given a pasting in thier own back yard, the 3-0 home defeat against Galton United one the travelling Gulls fans will savour for a good while. Panbury Town battle hard for a 2-1 win away at Yonsolo, as Kyslo stage a dramatic three goal comeback to usurp Chiddersley at Nillston. Fillston United were wasteful in attack against Spindlow and as a result the Spids came away with a 1-0 victory.

UICA competition kicked off in bizarre fashion for Peswick Town, as their opponents South Shields United failed a pitch inspection, meaning the Millers got a walkover against the side from York People. In the Champions Cup, Mortsey hosted FC Nassau from the Saint James Islands and came away with a 1-1 draw. Ordbury Athletic got the same result, away against the Salchar team Salchar City FC. The two Jeckish sides have less points combined than Ghindon, but the Tomahawks could not emulate thier league form as the travelled to Dainer and were beaten by Urdutown 2-1. Wardson Wandereres were more sucessful, beating Naucratis 2-1 in Oberur Al Moro.

The undoubted match of the week was between Nagelti Rovers and Yonsolo United, with a 90 minute display of why football is such a great game. The Knights eventually won 5-4 to maintain their 100% record and Yonsolo's less desirable 100% losing record. Colanso City also have a perfect start, and another impressive 3-0 win to boot, Dinsdon Town taken apart by a clinical away performance. The other, more surprising, team to have three wins is Panbury Town, a 1-0 win over Fillston helping them keep pace at the top. Yonsolo have two companions on 0 points, but none as sorry for themselves as Loderno INferno, with an abject performance seeing them leave The Junction having bean humiliated 6-2 by Kyslo. The other poor starters are Byton, with a 3-1 loss aginst Galton United continuing their poor start. Mortsey however finally have their first point, a good game with Serbury at Grislip Arena ending 2-2. Peswick Town took full advantage of their unexpected rest in midweek, with a good all-round performance resulting in a 3-0 win over Rack City. Ordbury Athletic also pull themselves out of their slump, a 4-2 win over Chiddersley their first of the season. Ghindon are the promoted side to win this week, Peswick Rovers leaving Ottey Street having been defeated 3-1. Spindlow and Poston play out a 1-1 draw at Bandrado Stadium.

Mortsey progress to the next round of the Champions Cup on away goals after a thrilling 2-2 draw at FC Nassau. Ordbury Athletic join Peswick Town in the next round of the Globe Cup with a 2-0 home win over Salchar City FC seeing them through. However the two Jeckish sides in this round of the SBCC are out. Ghindon recorded a second loss at home against Urdutown, and Wardson Wanderers surrendered their 2-1 advantage with a 4-3 home defeat, seeing them out on away goals.

Colanso City look unstoppable at the moment, beating another top end team in Peswick Town 2-1, a result which keeps the Surfers top. Nagelti Rovers are second, also with that 100% record, after a 2-1 win over a lacklustre Fillston United. Yonsolo United, buoyed by their near miss against Nagelti last week, get off and running for the season with a 2-1 win over Galton United. Mortsey finally claim their first win, although a scrappy 1-0 at home against Dinsdon Town isn't cause for massive celebration. Ordbury Athletic come away from Loderno Stadium with a 1-0 win that leaves their opponents rock bottom. Just above them are Byton, who lose 2-1 at home to an impressive Kyslo side. Panbury Town remain unbeaten but drop points for the first time, with the crowd at Baker Street disappointed after a 0-0 bore draw. Serbury manage a dull 1-0 win at home against Peswick Rovers, and Ghindon recover from their midweek disappointment to beat fellow promoted club Chiddersley 2-0 on the road. Rack City Rangers return to form with an emphatic 3-1 win at home against Spindlow.

The clash of the heavyweights at Peswick Park sees Peswick Town and Mortsey battle to a 1-1 draw. The early pacesetters stumble, with Colanso City being held to a 1-1 at Spindlow and Nagelti Rovers unable to break a resilient Poston defence, with the game ending 0-0. Panbury Town however suffered no such problems, continuing their good start with a 1-0 win over Rack City Rangers at Baker Street. Another abysmal away day for Loderno Inferno saw them brushed aside to the tune of 3-0 by an ever improving Ghindon side. Serbury were clinical on their trip to Dinsdon Town, claiming a 3-1 victory. Byton are another struggling team, and their woes continued with a 1-0 loss to Ordbury Athletic at Hillside. Not a single shot on goal was had as a particularly boring bore draw was played out, with Kyslo at home against Yonsolo United. Galton United acheived a 2-1 win over Fillston United in front of their own fans, whilst Peswick Rovers picked up a valuable 2-0 home win over Chiddersley.

Whilst it means little at this stage, early signs suggest Colanso City and Nagelti Rovers could be dangerous this year. The two sides are tied on 13 points with surprise package Panbury Town. Ghindon have made a strong start to JPL life, attaining 10 point from their opening 5 games, whereas Peswick Rovers, Rack City Rangers and Mortsey are all a lot further from the top than they would expect to be. Byton and Loderno Inferno have the worst possible starts, both having failed to pick up a point thus far.

A fantastic night all around for Jeckish team in UICA competition, with all four recording wins. Mortsey negotiated a trick trip to Ark to beat TAATO 1-0. Both Globe Cup sides were at home, Peswick Town playing their first match in this years competition against Berafjoroinn of Bleak Rock and emerging 2-1 victors. Ordbury Athletic faced Navel Sharks of Whirl Islands, and won a tense encounter 1-0. In the SBCC, Chiddersley entered the competition by beating Fetherdron of Pasarga by a lone goal at home.

The story of the week is that Nagelti aren't as good as they thought they were, with Rack City Rangers bouncing back from a sluggish start with a resounding 4-1 win at City Stadium. This result means that Colanso City can open up a two point gap at the top of the table, which they do with a 4-2 home win over Panbury Town, a result which is the visitors first loss of the season. Poston are the only team bar Colanso to keep their unbeaten record, a 2-2 draw at home against Galton United their fourth in the six games played so far. At the bottom Byton and Loderno Inferno both get their seasons off and running with points at home, the former drawing 0-0 with Ghindon, the latter claiming a 2-0 win over Peswick Rovers. Peswick Town meanwhile are held to a 1-1 draw by a surprisingly resillient Dinsdon Town spurred on by an electric atmosphere at Falchum Park. Ordbury Athetic are lucky to take a point, their game at Yonsolo ending in a 1-1 draw. Mortsey get their second win of the season, Spindlow effortlessley beaten 2-0 by the Shells on their own turf. Serbury are second after a home victory over Chiddersley 1-0, and Fillston United improve their poor record with a 1-0 win over Kyslo.

A remarkable performance from Peswick Town at Berafjoroinn sees the visitors cruise to a 3-0 victory. Ordbury's draw at Navel Sharks is enough to see them trhough, though the 1-1 result was not always certain. Chiddersley were the only Jeckish club to fall at this stage, crashing out of the SBCC after a 2-0 away loss at Fetherdron overpowered their home win.

The early contenders clashed at Handurai, and the home side prevailed, a 1-0 for Nagelti Rovers win meaning Colanso City now only top the table on goals scored. Nagelti sit third on 16 points, a tally shared by Colanso and Serbury, who manage another 1-0 victory away at Peswick Town, who have started abysmally in 15th winning only one game so far. Poston are the only unbeaten side left, with their third win coming at Kyslo with an impressive 3-1 victory which propels them to 4th. Mortsey finally break into the top half, with a 1-0 away win against Panbury Town. Fillston United continue their recovery with some stunning play rewarded with a 2-2 draw at Ordbury Athletic. Peswick Rovers stop a good looking Byton side from picking up any points with a 2-1 at Peswick Park. Ghindon's strong start continues, picking up a point at home against Yonsolo with a 1-1 draw. Dinsdon Town pull of a surprise result at Spindlow, with a 2-0 victory at Bandrado Stadium. Rack City Rangers are still marooned outside the top half after failing to win on their trip to Galton United, the Rangers coming away with an action-packed 2-2 draw.

A week with several surprising results sees Serbury drop three points behind Colanso City, with what should have been a regulation game at home against Loderno Inferno at home turning into a nightmarish 1-0 defeat. Colanso took full advantage, a 3-0 him win over Galton United keeping them on top and showing that they can perhaps have a real go at the title this year. Speaking of title, last years first and second placed teams played at Grislip Arena, with the home side Mortsey comfortably beating Nagelti Rovers 2-0. The visitors remain third, and Ordbury Athletic are the other team in a GC spot, after finally toppling Poston's unbeaten record with a 3-2 away win. Rack City Rangers get a strong home win, beating Kyslo 2-0. Dinsdon Town build on last weeks victory with a thrilling 3-3 at home to 5th placed Panbury Town. Yonsolo United fans will be delighted after this result, only their second win of the season was a resounding 3-0 over Peswick Rovers at Carcillo. Their neighbours Peswick Town battled to a 2-1 victory at home against Spindlow to further rectify their poor record. Byton are the only winless club left, but picked up their second point in a hard fought 2-2 draw with Chiddersley. Fillston United achieved a 2-1 win at home over Ghindon.

Not a good day for Jeckish clubs, with four defeats and a draw in UICA competitions in these third preliminary rounds. Mortsey's trip to The Royal Barangay ends in a narrow 2-1 defeat to Baoyam, but they can take heart from the fact they scored an away goal. Nexxus Drako's Drako Dragons also accomplished this feat, and picked up a draw at Peswick Town in the Globe Cup. Association francophone's Aeorpag welcomed Ordbury Athletic and beat them 1-0 in a nervy affair. Nagelti Rovers entered the competition in this round, and have given themselves a mountain to climb against Twineur Bugs of Zwangzug, being pasted 3-1 in the away fixture. It could be worse though, you could be Dinsdon Town, thumped 3-0 by Wanko Noucry of The Royal Barangay.

There are some big wins out there today, but one just tops them all. Ordbury Athletic recovered from their UICA woes in emphatic fashion with a 6-1 win over Rack City Rangers. Chiddersley pull off a remarkable 4-0 win against Yonsolo United, the Chids fans jubilant coming away from Nillston. Peswick Town make a mockery of both theirs and their opponents recent form, moving into the top half with a 4-0 win at Panbury Town. Colanso remain top with a 2-1 win at Kyslo, whilst Serbury achieve the same scoreline away to a flagging Spindlow. The Spids drop into the relegation zone alongside Dinsdon Town, who fight hard but eventually fall at Handurai to Nagelti Rovers, and Byton, who lose 2-0 at Loderno in what some described as an early six-pointer. Mortsey contiue their winning streak, now sitting in fifth after their 2-0 on the road at Galton United. Ghindon, who have slowed down in recent weeks, lose to Poston 2-0 at home and Peswick Rovers get an impressive 3-1 win over Fillston United.

Mortsey make a dramatic recovery, winning 3-1 on the night to move within two matches of claiming an astounding Champions Cup spot. Jubilation and disbelief are the buzzwords here. The Globe Cup teams still have two more rounds to go after this, but Peswick Town make it through after a 1-0 win on their trip to Drako Dragons. No such luck for Ordbury Athletic, their journey ending after a 1-1 draw with CF Aeropag not enough to overturn their deficit. Nagelti Rovers pull off one of the great comebacks, bouncing dramatically back from 3-1 loss away at Twineur Bugs with a huge 4-0 in the reverse fixture. Dinsdon Town cannot pull off such a comeback, a 3-2 victory over Wanko Nocuru not enough to keep the last Jeckish side in the SBCC.

The top of the table clash sees Colanso City once again dispel the doubters with a 2-0 win over Ordbury Athletic at Beachside. Two of last years top four also meet, with Peswick Town coming off better on their own turf after a 3-1 win over Nagelti Rovers. Mortsey win yet again, this time a 2-1 at home to Kyslo. Byton remain winless after a 1-0 loss at the hands of Serbury at Centropolis. Rack City Rangers get a 3-1 win at home to Ghindon as they try to stabilize their results after an inconsistent start. There were wins for some of the teams lower down the league, Dinsdon Town triumphing at home against Galton United 2-1, and Chiddersley showing some of the bigger teams how to play away with a 2-0 triumph over Fillston United. Yonsolo United and Loderno Inferno play out an exciting 2-2 draw at Yonsolo. Spindlow's woes continue, with a 1-0 loss at home against Panbury Town, and Poston claim a 2-0 win over Peswick Rovers.

Colanso City remain top on 25 points, three clear in a surprising and impressive start. Serbury are second after a strong start, and Mortsey have sprung into third with momentum after their poor start. Poston are another side higher than expected, in a Globe Cup spot after ten games. Panbury Town will be happy with seventh, sandwiched between four teams aiming for the top four. Kyslo and Yonsolo United are both lower than they'd like to be, with the latter perhaps experiencing second season syndrome. Not the most serious case of it though, that would have to be Byton, already six adrift of 2nd bottom. Spindlow and Fillston United will both be furious to be in the bottom three, with none of the new sides currently in the relegation zone.

Some intriguing scorelines this round, Ghindon pulling off a large shock at home, beating Colanso City 2-0. Mortsey lie two points behind Colanso and Serbury, who move level on points at the top with a 2-1 win over Panbury Town. Nagelti Rovers stay in the top four, with a 3-1 against struggling visitors Spindlow. In the big game at the bottom, Loderno Stadium sees Loderno Inferno and Fillston United play out a 1-1 draw, a reesult which sees the latter remain in the drop zone. Byton continue their woeful run with another home defeat, the fans at Centropolis frustrated after a 2-1 defeat to Yonsolo United. Poston are beginning to lose momentum, with a 3-2 loss at Chiddersley perhaps a sign of a side in decline. Peswick Town's recovery continues with a stellar away performance seeing them run out 3-0 winners over a disjointed Galton United. The side in 17th is Peswick Rovers, who lose 2-0 to a comfortable Colanso City at Beachside. Serbury are held to a 2-2 at home by a Yonsolo United side with fire in their bellies, which paves the way for Mortsey to go second with a 4-0 pasting of Ghindon. Ordbury Athletic hit another low point, a blunt attack seeing Dinsdon Town take a 1-0 at home. Peswick Town continue their steady progress up the league with a 2-1 win over a Kyslo side who will be disappointed by the season so far. Rack City Rangers continued to bear down on the top four with a resounding 3-0 victory over Chiddersley at City Stadium. Nagelti Rovers however will not be budged from that spot at the moment, a resillient Panbury Town eventually caving in to a 2-o home defeat. Loderno Inferno gain another priceless win, 1-0 away at a Poston side who are beginning to fade into mid table mediocrity once more.

The Pewick derby was feisty as ever, with Rovers the 'home' team easily beaten 3-0 by Town. Fillston United leaped out of the bottom three in style, their 4-0 spanking of Poston at Pegglamento Park doing more than just raising a few eyebrows. Galton United drop into their spot, after a heroic effort not enough to stop visitors Serbury from a 4-3 win. Rack City Rangers make hard work of a trip to Carcillo, Yonsolo United eventually losing 1-0. Chiddersley cruised to a 3-1 victory against Dinsdon Town at Nillston, with Spindlow contiuing to fight back at relegation with a 2-1 away win at Ghindon. Nagelti Rovers are defeated at The Junction 2-0 by an effecient Kyslo side, whilst Ordbury Atheltic once again fail to win, with a 0-0 at home to Panbury Town.

Only Byton are isolated in what is fast becoming a wide open relegation battle.

This means Coanso City can take a commanding four point lead, and they do so with a commanding 4-1 win over Poston at home. Dinsdon Town fall to the bottom three after a 4-0 battering from Yonsolo United at Falchum Park. However, the shock result of the day is Peswick Town losing a whopping 3-0 at home to Byton, a result which sends rippled through the league and finally allows Byton to move up from bottom. Peswick Rovers are the new occupants of the foot of the table, a 3-0 away loss to Nagelti Rovers sealing that position and putting Nagelti Rovers in the top four. Two underachievers played out a thrilling high scoring draw as Kyslo and Ordbury Athletic ended up 3-3 at The Junction. Galton United put further distance between themselves and the bottom end of the table with 1-0 win over Ghindon at Galton Beach. Mortsey had to work hard for their win, eventually coming up trumps at Poston's Memorial Park with a 1-0 win. Byton continued to dispel their earlier form with a 2-2 at home against fellow strugglers Spindlow. Serbury are held to a 2-2 draw at Hillside by an Ordbury Atheltic side showing a taste of it's former glory. Kyslo scrapped for a 1-0 victory at Ghindon, whilst Nagelti Rovers had an easier game at Chiddersley, coming out 2-0 victors. Peswick Town were frustrated, as Yonsolo United put in another strong home performance to end up with a 1-1 draw.

Not even many Coanso City fans dared to dream of the title, but it might just happen, with a four point lead at halfway. However there are a wealth of clubs below, not least Mortsey, who could usurp them. Serbury are fighting for a UICA spot in third, with Nagelti Rovers in fourth. Panbury Town are just four points away from a Globe Cup spot after who can only be described as a sensational season, with Peswick Town still searching for form, Rack City fading, and Ordbury Atheltic a shadow of their former selves. Kyslo will be gutted in tenth, whilst Ghindon and Chiddersley will be happy with their first seasons so far. The same cannot be said for Dinsdon Town, who prop up the table at the halfway stage. Byton and Peswick Rovers are the other teams currently in the dreaded zone, but Galton United, Fillston United, and Spindlow are all underacheived and still very much in danger.

The second half of the season beings with some intriguing games. Serbury vs. Colanso City is a surprisingly one sides affair, with the visitors Colanos destructive in their 3-0 win. Rack City Rangers cam up with a strong performance to see of Mortsey, winning 1-0 at City Stadium to give Colanso an impressive seven point lead at the top. Nagelti Rovers reamin fourth, a trip to Loderno Stadium resulting in Loderno Inferno being flattened 4-1. Peswick Town kept up the chase with a 1-0 win at Fillston United. Poston eked out bottom club Dinsdon Town 1-0 in a close game at Memorial Park. Ordbury Athletic will be hoping the second half f the season brings better fortunes, and they made the right start with a 2-1 win at Ghindon. Yonsolo United continued a good run with a 3-1 win over Spindlow, as Byton failed to get a point against Panbury Town, going down 1-0 at Centropolis. Peswick Rovers and Kyslo played out a 1-1 draw at Peswick Park.

In arguably the biggest game of the season so far, Mortsey emerge victorious at Grislip Arena, a 3-2 victory over Colanso City enough to cut hte visitors lead to 4 points. Nagelti Rovers show off their quality at Handurai, with a 5-1 victory over Byton the result. This puts the Bears bottom as Dinsdon Town battle to a 1-1 draw at Falchum Park against Rack City Rangers. Serbury remain fourth but yet again drop points, Ghindon this time the benefactors as they hosted a 1-1 draw. Peswick Town were unable to close the gap, a bore draw at home against Poston cause for disappointment. Kyslo will also feel this way, after a 2-0 home defeat by a disciplined Chiddersley side. Panbury Town were usurped at Baker Street, Yonsol Uinted coming away with a 3-2 win. Galton United and Loderno Inferno played out a 1-1 draw as boh aim to move away from the relegation zone, which Peswick Rovers are unable to escape due to a 2-0 loss away at the hands of Ordbury Athletic. In another key game at the bottom, Spindlow throw caution to the wind in a 4-2 win over Fillston United.

Well, last season Colanso City took the JPL by storm, nabbing the title from Mortsey. As Motwick, Entown, and Erathon join the league, it'll certainly be a great season at both ends of the table. With the inherant randomness of this league, who knows what JPL 4 might bring?

In glorious sunshine, the eagerly anticipated fourth JPL season kicked off, and it was Mortsey who started the best, with a routine 3-0 win over Loderno Inferno putting them top - not that it matters much at this stage, of course. Champions Colanso City navigated a potential banana skin away at Poston, coming away with a 2-1 victory that was closer than the Surfers would have wanted. A couple of shock results this week - but aren't there always in this league? Peswick Town will be gutted to lose at home to a Panbury Town side keen to build on last season's top half finish. Two of the three new sides won, including Motwick, who stunned Yonsolo United with a 3-1 win. Ordbury Athletic showed signs of resurgence, with a 2-0 win over Serbury showing their credentials. Kyslo played out the only draw of the round, a 2-2 with fellow UICA hopefuls Nagelti Rovers.

Only four of the nine teams who won on the first day repeated the feat this time around. Colanso City are top of the pile, meaningless as it may be, after routing Entown 4-0 at home. Peswick Town are second from bottom after an embarrassing defeat. Going to Serbury is never easy, but they'll be gutted to have lost 3-0. Panbury Town and Kyslo play out a 0-0 bore draw, as do Nagelti Rovers and Mortsey in what promised to be an exciting top of the table clash. Rack City Rangers scrape past Psotn, winning 2-1 on a controversial penalty decision. Ordbury Athletic continue their good start, winning again 3-1 at Yonsolo United, who remain yet to pick up a point.

The old guard of Jeckish football seem to be having a resurgance this season, with Rack City Rangers and Ordbury Athletic both winning by three goals to extend their 100% records. The only other team to have this record is Colanso City, who beat Erathon 2-1 to keep the top spot. At the other end, something has to give with Peswick Town and Yonsolo United both on two losses. It is the Millers who get a 2-0 win, condemning Yonsolo to bottom of the table. At least they've got Erathon to keep them company on 0 points. Kyslo and Nagelti Rovers both continue their runs of drawing every game, with the pair the only to have held this feat since the first matchday, when they drew against each other. Mortsey will be disappointed to have dropped points, with Panbury Town visiting and getting a 1-1 draw.

The top three teams all win to keep their flawless records, although Rack City Rangers now have the lead after a 4-1 win over pointless Erathon. The Elephants are now the only side without a point, after Yonsolo United broke their duck with a 2-1 win over Kyslo, who in turn broke their own drawing record - in the wrong way. Nagelti Rovers managed to keep theirs up though, with a 1-1 result away at Ghindon. Mortsey continue their iffy start to the season, although a loss away at Serbury is excusable. Spindlow, whose under-par season last year saw them narrowly avoiding relegation, are doing well, going fourth after a 3-0 home win over Poston, who have only a point to their name. Peswick Town fail to pick up all three points, drawing 1-1 at Galton United.

Something has to give in the big game, with Ordbury Athletic hosting Colanso City in what looks a mouthwatering clash. Sadly, a tenacious affair ends a goalless draw, and Rack City Rangers capitalise, with a 2-0 win over Motwick doing the business for them. In the other big game (blimey!), Peswick Town are triumphant in the Peswick derby, the "home" team winning 2-1 over their Rovers neighbours (or should I say flatmates?). Yonsolo United's woes continue, as Mortsey attempt to get their season well and truly underway, with this 4-1 win no doubt helping them to do that. Nagelti Rovers finally break the spell and do not draw, beating Panbury Town in a 3-2 thriller. Kyslo are also off the mark in terms of wins, beating Galton United comfortably 3-0 at home.

Rack City Rangers face Ordbury Athletic, and unlike last week this big game is actually worth wathcing, with an end-to-end battle ending (har har) in a 2-2 draw, Rack City's first dropped points of the season. They stay top on goal difference from Colanso City, who romp past a hapless Peswick Town 3-0 to consign their opponents to 12th. Meanwhile in Poston, the home side, who have been miserable all season, suddenly turn in a performance for the ages to thrash Entown 6-1, a margin only surpassed by that famous victory for Clyville Albion, 7-1 over Mortsey. Speaking of Mortsey, they're still on a poor run, with Galton United continuing their good start with a 2-0 win over the two time champions. Motwick have also stamped their authority on this league, with a 5-1 away win over a shambolic Chiddersley letting the rest of the league know that they're here to stay. Nagelti Rovers are back in the draws, with a cracker 2-2 away at Serbury.

Well well well. Where to begin? Peswick Town ended Rack City Rangers unbeaten run with a last gasp 2-1 victory, allowing Colanso City to open up a two point lead with their stellar 3-1 away win over Kyslo. Mortsey put in their most embarassing performance since that unforgettable day in Clyville, losing 4-1 AT HOME to Peswick Rovers. The Wasps had a fantastic game, gaining their third win of the season. Ordbury Athleitc kept up the pressure at the top, a 3-0 win over Chiddersley showing that last season was no more than an oversized blip. Nagelti Rovers draw AGAIN, this time at home to Yonsolo United, a result the Wolves will be delighted with. Loderno Inferno are still yet to win, a rampant Galton United attack meaning a 3-2 vicotyr for the visitors and bottom for the hosts. Poston are back to losing ways, with a 3-1 defeat to Erathon. Despite this, Erathon are still below Poston in the relegation zone.

Some high scoring games here, with the biggest victory coming for Yonsolo United, who were ruthless in their 6-1 demolition of Panbury Town, who still have only one win and are struggling to repeat the lofty heights of last season. Ordbury Athleitc also suffered a major setback - by playing like they had last season, and consequently coming back from surprise package Spindlow with a 5-1 defeat. Poston also rediscovered the form that caused that big win a couple of weeks ago, this time beating Motwick to the tune of 5-2. Colanso City use Ordbury's mistake to go three points clear with a 1-0 win over Mortsey, who have now lost three on the trot. Colanso can thank their defence for their blistering start, having only conceded 3 goals in their 8 games. Rack City Rangers moved into second with a 2-0 win over Kyslo. Loderno Inferno are off the bottom spot with a 2-0 win over Peswick Rovers their first of the season. Their place is taken by Erathon, who are pummelled 4-0 by fellow rookies Entown.

What a result! Buoyed by last weeks win, Loderno Inferno battle to a 1-0 victory over the defending champions and as of yet unbeaten Colanso City. It's not all gloom for the Surfers though, with their gap only dropping by one point after Rack City Rangers drew 1-1 with Mortsey, who finally broke their losing streak but are still stranded in the lower reaches of the table. Ordbury Athletic failed to put the game to bed, drawing 2-2 with a Poston side they really should have beaten. Galton United move ahead of Spindlow into the final Globe Cup spot, with their 1-1 draw away at Panbury Town enough thanks to their adversaries 2-0 loss at Peswick Town, who moved level on points with the Spids. Panbury Town are now in the drop zone alongside Chiddersley, who lost 1-0 at Kyslo, but both are four points clear of Erathonm whose 2-1 home loss to Ghindon compunds their miserable start to this season.

Nagelti Rovers haven't had a good start, with their drawing meaning they've only won two of their first nine - make that ten, as Colanso City tear them to shreds en route to a 4-1 victory. Mortsey are also victorious by the same scoreline, with relief the buzzword after their away win at Chiddersley. The Chids are now only one point from bottom, owing to Erathon's second win over the season over Motwick 2-0. You never know which Poston is going to turn up this season, and this time it was the bad one, with Peswick Town the third of the 4-1 victors this week. Galton United ward them off to stay in their Globe Cup spot, with a 1-0 win over a struggling Serbury.

Elite Basketball returned to Jeckland once more, with an expanded season seeing the sixteen teams playing each other four times instead of the previously customary two. Despite this reformatting Jeckland decided against changing its tiebreaker rules or introducing playoffs to move more into line with other leagues, instead preferring its usual scoring system more often used in sports such as association football. Last seasons champions Lingham Lions and Treslip Torandoes went into the season as favourites for the title, and it was a dramatic 84-83 win on the final day that secured the three points the Tornadoes needed to get themselves over the line and become champions. Fingletown Thunder took the third IUBC spot comfortably, with all of the newly promoted sides being relegated back to the second tier.

The formation of the Jeckish Ice Hockey Super League (IHSL) saw sixteen teams created to compete in the first edition of the tournament. The bottom two sides would be relegated, with the league selecting two new teams to replace them each year. The top four teams would qualify for the upcoming HCL, with each team playing each other four times, twice at home and twice away. Teams would be awarded three points for a win and one for a draw, with goal difference used as the primary tiebreaker.

The thrilling title race saw Surf pip Thunder to the crown on goal difference, with both teams setting themselves apart from the field. Scorchers, expected to finish mid table, were a surprise package taking third place, with goal difference again coming into play as Lions pipped Tornadoes to qualify for international play. Ninjas came close but ended up relegated alongside the disappointing Shakers.

The JPL is back for its sixth season. Last year Colanso City took the title for the third time, finishing 13 points clear of second placed Kyslo to make themselves the most successful side in the history of the tournament. Rack City Rangers and Nagelti Rovers won a tight race for the other two IFCF spots. Two of the three newly promoted sides went straight back down, with Rasque Rovers and Obstyne finisihing in the bottom two spots. Fillston United were able to survive at the expense of Motwick, who drop into the newly renamed Jeckish Second League. Coming up to the top flight are Byton, Hindleston Wanderers and Ghindon, who are the latest sides to try to survive in what is a notoriously tough first season up.

A new addition to the football calendar this year will be the Jeckish Cup. The Second League clubs excluding those who finished 18th and 19th in the JPL last season enter at round one, with the ten winners joining an open draw with the remaining 22 teams in single legged, straight knockout matches up to the final at a neutral venue.

None of last seasons IFCF qualifiers are in the top four as the season passes a quarter of the way through. Yonsolo United, Panbury Town, Galton United and Mortsey have all broken clear of mid table expectations to sit in the top spots in the league, but with the established order sat from 5th to 8th they face a fight to keep themselves there. Ghindon have done well on their return to the top flight, pushing the top half, with Hindleston Wanderers already looking like a swift return to the league below. Peswick Rovers are unexpected strugglers, with Poston just below Byton in the final relegation spot.

In this notoriously tough to call league, Rack Rovers have flown into a six point lead and look in great shape to win promotion for the first time. Lingham City and Blarton United are currently in possession of the other promotion places, but the top half of the table including newly promoted AFC Treslip are all within five points of them so anything could happen. At the bottom, last season's JPL bottom club Obstyne are in further trouble in the relegation places, with established side Fental and another former JPL team Erathon also embroiled in the battle at the bottom.

Yonsolo United continued their reign at the top of the table with one of the clearest signs of their intent yet, defeating champions and favourites Colanso City 2-1. Yonsolo remain four points clear of Panbury in second, with Colanso a whopping 11 points off the pace and needing a comeback fast to have a chance of retaining their crown. Nagelti Rovers won't be too pleased with being level on points with a newly promoted side, but their loss to Loderno Inferno coupled with Ghidnon's shock win away at Peswick Town means just that has occured. It was a big day at the bottom with four of the bottom five facing off. Byton were the big winners, with victory over Poston lifting them to 16th, while Peswick Rovers and Hindleston Wanderers played out a draw. Entown drew with Rack City Rangers but it was not enough to avoid slipping to 18th.

There is then a six point gap before the scrap for IFCF spots, with Kyslo in the ascendancy in third after a 2-0 win over a Colanso City side freefalling out of the top half of the table. Nagelti finally land a blow, defeating Galton United 3-2 to allow Kyslo and Rack City Rangers to move up the table.

Poston are now bottom, but have reason to be cheerful after getting a point at home to Yonsolo United, who are now top on goal difference. The results at the top mean Kyslo are now just three points behind after beating Peswick Rovers, with Peswick Town moving into the top four with a 3-1 defeat of a woeful Colanso City side now in 13th place.

If you'd told most punters at the start of the season that Yonsolo United vs. Panbury Town would be more watched than Colanso vs. Rack City or the Peswick derby, they'd think you were mad. A big clash in the title race has a big cost for Panbury Town, with their loss to Peswick Town seeing them go from two points clear to fourth place after Kyslo and Yonsolo also won. It's another week of struggle for the bottom five as none of them win - Peswick Rovers the closest with a goalless draw at Serbury to put them above their fellow struggles but still six adrift of Ghindon in 15th.

Wardson Wanderers currently occupy a promotion slot, but cannot overcome the JPL's second bottom team Byton, who win 3-2. Lingham City put up a brave fight against Galton United, eventually losing 2-0 in the only tie to go beyond 90 minutes.

Yonsolo United would have fancied themselves to break that cycle with a home fixture against Entown, but a loss there puts the visitors out of the relegation zone and allows Panbury to go top after they beat Ordbury and Kyslo lose to Serbury. Poston's third win of the entire season means Nagelti Rovers are now seven points behind the IFCF spots in fifth place. Rack City Rangers remain in the bottom half of the table despite beating Loderno Inferno.

Nagelti Rovers victory over Panbury Town means they cut the gap back to four points after Kyslo's loss to Hindleston sees the latter bypass an out of form Byton into 18th. Entown continue their form by beating Spindlow to overtake Peswick Rovers.

With ten games to go, four teams are battling for their first ever JPL title, with positions traded on a weekly basis this race will surely go to the wire. Nagelti Rovers lead four clubs including champions Colanso City who could make a late run for an IFCF spot if the form of those above allows it. Rack City Rangers continue to lag behind. At the bottom, some wins in the last few weeks for the bottom sides have dragged Ghindon and arguably Fillston United into an enthralling relegation battle. Poston have shown signs of life at the bottom but will need to do much more to survive.

For a change, not much changes in the title race, with the top three all winning as expected. Kyslo's fourth successive, this time to Ordbury Athletic, loss puts them six points off the pace and glancing over their shoulders at the likes of Nagelti Rovers, who drew away at Serbury and Colanso City, who may yet salvage something from this season following some good form. Peswick Rovers are the big winners at the bottom, their 3-0 win over Byton giving them three valuable points in the fight to stay up. Rack City Rangers served up a seven goal thriller in their defeat of Galton United, overtaking their opposition in the process.

Kyslo are only two points away from dropping out of the IFCF spots and will be relived that Nagelti Rovers and Colanso City drew winnable games against Ordbury Athletic and Ghindon respectively. In the day's relegation six pointer, Entown landed an important blow, beating Peswick Rovers 2-1. Poston won 3-0 at Galton United, showing the vastly differing form of these sides despite their positions in the table.

The magic of the cup is in full showing today, with Second League Fental usurping Loderno Inferno to reach the final four. Kyslo's poor form in the league translates into the cup, with Byton beating them 4-2 to progress. Galton United shake off their struggles to dispatch of the other Second League team in the quarters, with a 2-1 win over JSL leaders Rack Rovers. Reigning but soon to be deposed Colanso City are the surefire favourites for the Cup however, knocking out Serbury to put them two wins away from their fourth piece of silverware.

If it needed any more confirmation, this has become a three horse race for the title, with none of the riders stumbling as the finish line approaches. What looked like a dead race for the IFCF spots has burst into life with Kyslo's collapse, with Nagelti Rovers beating them to surge past them into that coveted fourth place. Colanso City are level with Kyslo one point behind after a resounding victory over Hindleston Wanderers. Poston have miraculously dragged themselves off the bottom with a 1-0 win over Mortsey, overtaking both Hindleston and Byton, who lost 3-1 at Rack City. Peswick Rovers overtake Ghindon by defeating them 2-1.

Yonsolo United versus Colanso City affected both the title and IFCF races, but not in the order you'd have expected at the start of the season. The 1-1 draw meant the league leaders lost their birth, but Panbury Town were unable to capitalise after losing 3-1 at Mortsey, meaning Peswick Town took to the summit after a win at struggling Ghindon. Colanso lost ground in the race for fourth as Nagelti Rovers beat Loderno Inferno and Kyslo arrested the slump with a 2-0 win over Spindlow. Byton defeated Poston in a key game at the bottom, consigning their visitors to the foot of the table once more but still three points short of escaping the drop zone themselves. Hindleston Wanderers in 19th drew with Peswick Rovers in a result that probably favours the visitors more, whilst Entown took a giant leap towards safety after a ding-dong battle with Rack City Rangers ended in a 5-3 victory.

Everyone from 11th downwards is still mathematically in relegation danger, with none of the four sides going down decided yet.

Yet another change at the top in the to-and-fro nature of this title race sees Panbury Town take to the summit after a 4-2 win which relegates Hindleston Wanderers. Peswick Town, drawing 1-1 away at Colanso City, and Yonsolo United, beating Poston 3-2, are one point behind with just two matches to go, including one between Panbury and Yonsolo. Poston's loss is costly as Ghindon and Byton both battle to draws, closing the gap to the team in seventeenth. Byton's draw sees Nagetli Rovers lose further ground to Kyslo, now three points clear in fourth place after beating Peswick Rovers, who along with Entown are still mathematically in the relegation fight.

It's Yonsolo United who once again triumph over their title rivals, with the titanic clash against Panbury Town being settled by a solitary goal for the away side. Peswick Town's title hope suffer a huge dent, as they lose in the Peswick Derby to their city rivals Rovers. Nagelti Rovers get a boost after a 4-0 humbling of Entown, with Kyslo unable to match them in their draw with Galton United. Poston gain a huge win at home to Spindlow, with Byton drawing against Loderno Inferno and Ghindon losing at Ordbury Athletic.

So the three way race for the title goes to the very last day, with Yonsolo United taking the top spot after that crucial win over Panbury Town. Peswick Town are still in it by virtue of having the best goal difference of the three sides. Nagelti have narrowed the gap to the Challengers Cup spot down to one but it will be Kyslo with their fate in their own hands on the final day. Results at the bottom mean Ghindon become the second promoted team going straight back down, with Byton needing a win to avoid making it a clean sweep. Entown and Poston are the other sides that could be facing the drop, although the latter's goal difference makes this unlikely.

OOC: The following is all taken from @JecklandF on Twitter, where the final day was roleplayed in real time.

One hour until kick off in the final day of the JPL.

- Over the next few hours, we'll find out which of the three hopefuls will become the third ever team to win the Jeckish Premier League.

Jeckland Football's match feed will keep you across all the goals and events in the 10 games being played as everything is decided.

- PERMUTATIONS - TITLE RACE: For Yonsolo United, the equation seems simple enough. If they win at home to Serbury, they will become Jeckish champions. A draw is also highly likely to be enough, given their goal difference. Panbury Town could theoretically take the title if Yonsolo draw, but would need to beat Spindlow by eight goals. The most likely scenario in which they win the title is with a victory and a Yonsolo United defeat. If Yonsolo United lose and Panbury Town fail to win, Peswick Town will win the title on goal difference with victory over Kyslo.

- PERMUTATIONS - International Competition: The champions will take Jeckland's sole place in the Champions League. The three title contenders are guaranteed at least Challengers Cup football, with the top two entering the CEdC. The final Challengers Cup spot is currently held by Kyslo, who will seal it with victory over Peswick Town or by matching the result of fifth placed Nagelti Rovers. Nagelti Rovers will claim the spot if they win away at Ghindon and Kyslo fail to beat Peswick Town. A draw and a Kyslo loss could also theoretically see them through, but would require Peswick Town to win by seven goals.

- PERMUTATIONS - RELEGATION: Poston and Entown are both able to secure their JPL places with a point against Colanso City and Loderno Inferno respectively. If either fails, Byton could survive by beating Fillston United, although Poston's goal difference likely saves them anyway.

- Just 15 minutes remain until kick off.

Yonsolo remain top as it stands, but a goal from either Panbury Town or Peswick Town puts them in the driving seat!

- GOAL: COLANSO CITY 1-0 POSTON (8 mins) - The Surfers take an early lead, Alden as cool as you like in the one on one with keeper Causer.

- GOAL: MORTSEY 1-0 GALTON UNITED (10 mins) - Wickham rises highest from a corner to head the Shells ahead. If it stays like this, Mortsey overtake their opponents and finish in the top half.

- GOAL - BYTON 1-0 FILLSTON UNITED (11 mins) - How big could this be?

A pearler of a Plaskett free kick puts the hosts ahead and heaps the pressure on Entown!

- GOAL - PESWICK ROVERS 1-0 RACK CITY RANGERS (13 mins) - Dell Riley cuts onto his right foot and fires home from the edge of the box to give the hosts the lead at Peswick Park.

- GOAL - YONSOLO UNITED 0-2 SERBURY (15 mins) - Things go from bad to worse for Yonsolo United!

A botched clearance from Thorburn goes straight to Cason who puts the league leaders two behind and in a precarious position at the top!

- GOAL: Hindleston Wanderers 1-0 Ordbury Athletic (22 mins) - Hindleston could still at least move out of last place today, and they've made a good start, with Abbey giving the hosts the advantage over Ordbury.

- GOAL: COLANSO CITY 2-0 POSTON (25 mins) - The Surfers look to be going into the Jeckish Cup final on good form, doubling their advantage with a lovely team move finished off by Peters.

- GOAL: KYSLO 1-0 PESWICK TOWN (27 mins) - Peswick Town would win the JPL with victory as it stands, but they've gone behind!

Virgil Ayers chips the onrushing Pound to provisionally secure Challengers Cup football for his side and delight Yonsolo United and Panbury Town fans!

- GOAL: BYTON 1-1 FILLSTON UNITED (31 mins) - The visitors equalise through a Cook header to deal a hammer blow to the Bears, who need a win to have a chance of survival!

- GOAL: SPINDLOW 1-0 PANBURY TOWN (33 minutes) - There'll be pandemonium in Yonsolo when they hear about this!

A cross by Hill is diverted into his own net by the unfortunate Robertson, and Panbury are behind!

Every team in the title race are now losing, leaving Yonsolo on top!

- GOAL: HINDLESTON WANDERERS 1-1 ORDBURY ATHLETIC (36 mins) - It's level again here, Andrewson with a simple finish for Ordbury.

- GOAL: ENTOWN 1-0 LODERNO INFERNO (38 mins) - Entown take a huge leap towards survival!

They may only need a draw, but Dean's maruding run and finish from left back sees them take a huge step towards securing their JPL future!

- GOAL: COLANSO CITY 3-0 POSTON (43 mins) - It's one way traffic here at Beachside, Graves adding the third with a thumping drive from range.

- GOAL: GHINDON 0-1 NAGELTI ROVERS (44 mins) - That man Cyprian Stack heaps the pressure on Kyslo, who as it stands must win to keep their IFCF place!

- It's half time around the grounds.

- AS IT STANDS - Yonsolo United will win the JPL and qualify for the Champions League despite being 2-0 down to Serbury.

Kyslo will join Panbury Town and Peswick Town in the Challengers Cup, with Panbury also in the Campionato Esportiva de Campeones.

Byton will be relegated.

- The second halves get underway.

- GOAL: Kyslo 2-0 Peswick Town (51 mins) - A goal with huge implications!

Kyslo cement 4th place as Ingram Adair picks up a loose ball and drives home. Peswick will need to mount a three goal comeback to have a chance at the title now!

- GOAL: PESWICK ROVERS 1-1 RACK CITY RANGERS (54 mins) - Cree Martel with a moment of magic, bending the ball around defenders and the keeper to level the scores.

- GOAL: GHINDON 1-1 NAGELTI ROVERS (56 mins) - Nagelti's chances of 4th place fade further as Jarred Yates bundles home a free kick to draw the relegated Ghindon level.

- GOAL: KYSLO 3-0 PESWICK TOWN (57 mins) - Surely that decides it!

Kyslo look to be back in the Challengers Cup as Rueben Sanderson converts from the spot following a foul on him by Senior.

Peswick Town are all but out of the title race, and will likely settle for third.

Jayceon Gage with an inspired finish puts Panbury level, needing just one goal to take the lead in the JPL!

- GOAL: BYTON 1-2 FILLSTON UNITED (60 mins) - A bitter blow for Byton as Bagley puts the Bears behind. They need to come back and win and hope Loderno Inferno can turn things around and beat Entown, or they will be relegated.

- GOAL: COLANSO CITY 3-1 POSTON (62 mins) - Poston pull one back, Clemens making a rare error in the Colanso goal after failing to save a tame Mayer shot.

- GOAL: YONSOLO UNITED 0-3 SERBURY (64 mins) - Cason gets his second to put Serbury three goals to the good, some poor defending allowing the Sharks striker to score easily.

Yonsolo will now be relying on Spindlow to stop Panbury Town from winning and taking the title!

- GOAL: PESWICK ROVERS 1-2 RACK CITY RANGERS (67 mins) - Rangers come from behind to take the lead and it's that man Martel once again, this time with a far post header.

- GOAL: BYTON 2-2 FILLSTON UNITED (68 minutes) - The Bears haven't given up yet!

Stamp's shot hits the post, but the rebound falls straight back to him and he levels the scores!

- GOAL: KYSLO 4-0 PESWICK TOWN (72 minutes) - Kimball Forest makes sure the result isn't in doubt, latching onto a through ball and tucking into the far corner.

- GOAL: COLANSO CITY 4-1 POSTON (80 minutes) - Jeckland captain Teddie Gilbert scores off his shin to ensure Colanso head to Jecken Stadium for the cup final with a win.

- Ten minutes to go, and the title race and relegation battle are still alive!

- GOAL: SPINDLOW 2-1 PANBURY TOWN (82 mins) - This could be the goal that seals the title for Yonsolo United!

An innocuous looking through ball is latched onto by Tupper, who puts the hosts into the lead!

Panbury Town need two unanswered goals to win the league!

- GOAL: ENTOWN 2-0 LODERNO INFERNO (83 mins) - Barring a late collapse, Entown are safe!

Sampson rounds the keeper and slots into an empty net to finish a slick counter and put Byton in peril!

- GOAL: PESWICK ROVERS 2-2 RACK CITY RANGERS (84 mins) - Boon's crisp drive can't be kept out by Mayes despite him getting a hand on it. This game is level once more.

- GOAL: BYTON 2-3 FILLSTON UNITED (85 mins) - Byton are surely relegated now.

They commit bodies forward for the goal they need, but Saylor is left alone up front for Fillston and he puts the Bears behind.

- GOAL: ENTOWN 3-0 LODERNO INFERNO (86 mins) - Entown put the gloss on the victory that will secure their survival, another counter attack resulting in a thumping finish from Spencer from a tight angle.

- GOAL: YONSOLO UNITED 0-4 SERBURY (88 mins) - Roach drills a fourth past Hermanson in the Yonsolo goal, but the fans are barely watching anymore. All eyes are on Panbury - can they pull off a late comeback to beat Spindlow?

- We move into stoppage time around the grounds.

- Byton are officially relegated from the JPL after their 3-2 loss to Fillston United.

- It's full time at Carcillo. Yonsolo have lost 4-0 at home, but it doesn't look like they'll care about that in a minute...

- YONSOLO UNITED ARE JPL CHAMPIONS!

Spindlow have beaten Panbury Town, meaning The Wolves have won an unlikely first ever JPL title!

- Elsewhere in the JPL, Panbury Town qualify for the CEdC and Challengers Cup, where they will be joined by Peswick Town and Kyslo.

Byton are relegated, joining Ghindon and Hindleston Wanderers and meaning all three promoted sides go straight back down.

- Yonsolo United captain Loren Tittensor: "This is the most amazing feeling. We didn't do well today but I don't care right now. Nobody expected us to win the league at the start of the season but we did it!"

- Yonsolo United manager Carol Fairclough: "I am so proud of this group of players. Today didn't go to plan in our game but over the course of the season we've played above and beyond any expectations and we fully deserve this title."

- And so, as Tittensor lifts the trophy to the sound of a raucous home crowd, we bid farewell to the sixth season of the JPL.
