So, I'm black, and I don't like white people. I used to be friends with a few, but then I learned more about their past, and I grew away from them. Their roots are buried in slavery and war. I was rather sad for a while, but then I embraced my being black, and when I did, it offered me an opportunity to see the world as I'd never seen it. Because I'm black, I have been more open to new information, and have learned a lot about science and philosophy and history.
I have realized that white people have caused some of, if not THE most problems in modern day society. And so I want to hear everybody's opinions.

Note, I don't represent all black people. I'm just a rather irritated one.

I am African so I am black, I hate white colonialists but don't hate white people as a whole because their are some really good white people. I believe that we black people should focus on our own problems and stop blaming colonialism for our problems even though that is why we are having this problems. I believe we black people should unite not in a supremacist way but so that we can help each other out. FYI, you will most likely get hate for this thread because a lot of people who use NSG are white so good luck with that.

Also, Racism is bad, being hypocritical isn't the best solution.

I am white. But first, I have many, mostly black friends. Also, yeah, we did a lot that was bad. A lot. And as a white person I am sorry for what most of my people have done. But we are not all bad. Also white people have been racist to everyone, not just black people.

Every human culture on Earth has a history of war and violence, including African ethnicities. Consider the conflicts all across the continent and you can clearly see that Africa is not immune to violent conflict of its own. Slavery is bad, yes. And so is genocide.

Basing your distaste for white people in this rationale is fatally flawed and hypocritical.

Look, Europe did behave dickish when it ran ahead of the rest of the world with technological progress, but I'll accept that I'm a part of an inherently evil skin color once I get tangible proof that other ethnic groups wouldn't have had the same kind of bogus reasoning for why they should be permitted to rule the world.

I'm not black, but the fact that, what more than 50% of whites think the Ferguson shooting was justified (not to mention the thousands of racist comments on posts about police brutality and similar issues) is telling of the prevalent attitudes in society. It makes sense to be irritated at something like that.

It still stands that it makes sense to be irritated at the huge number of white people who deny the existence of racism, though. I could get on the tangent about "not all white people" and how there are definitely white people who do recognize that say, the Ferguson shooting was wrong (me being one of them), but we've all heard that tangent so many times.

The vast majority of human societies have engaged in warfare, most have engaged in one or more forms of slavery. Just because one group did it more efficiently than the others for a ~500 year period in history doesn't necessarily make them worse than the others.

Well, I hhad the mindset of, "If asking politely doesn't work, and reporting doesn't work, go full-idiot and it just might work". It sorta did, I suppose. But not as I'd hoped. I was sort of wishing that the mods might see this, and for some odd reason actually see what I was saying.
