No, it doesn't. Unless you're from Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia or some other South America shithole whose largest trading partner is Brazil. Or, alternatively, if you're from Brazil.

Canada. Global warming will make it possible to move further north and with the ice sheets melting in the arctic that will expose a ton of oil. Good thing Harper is destroying the environment so we can get there faster.

Yes, and I also know it doesn't measure political influence. It measures military power and takes into account a few factors like purchasing power. Regardless, it's not a measure of geopolitical power.

Defeiantly not the USA, while I live there, I can tell you this; it is slowly falling apart in my opinion. I would say Japan, South Korea, hell even Germany will be the next three major super powers, with possibly Sweden and Scandinavia in general, since funny as how their neutral, makes lots on arms manufacturing.

Even factoring in its weak economy at the moment, France has a greater chance of being one of the next superpowers than Britain does.

Since I'm the one who brought it up, yes, I know what it is.

In which case, what are we measuring then? Economic strength? Military strength? Industrial strength?

If military strength, then the US, and I was correct.

If economic strength, then the US however the EU will eventually overtake us.

If industrial strength, then China has it and will easily keep it for the next 100 years.
