I'm not really in the fandom, but I do like the art. I guess you could call me a casual furry, though I'm more of a casual scaly.

I'm a furry with a fursona and an active interest in furry-related media. However, I tend to forget my affiliation with the fandom because it is not a significant factor of my life.

If I had to choose which furry I'd be, probably a feline or wolf; one for its cuteness and the other for the personality associated with it, respectively.

Jay Naylor's work is pretty good. Heard mixed things about the guy himself, but I like his artwork still no matter what people say.

I respectfully disagree, Naylor is... Well, Naylor. I don't really like his stuff, but that's a matter of preferences. I vastly prefer Dark Natasha, Bagheera or Shinigamigirl's styles, rather than his.

Well, to each their own, shall I write a list of my favourite furries, it would be like: equines and scalies above all, sharks, inscets (WhiteMantis stuff :!:

) bovines, canines, the rest depend on particular features of each given pic/artist's talent.

I'm technically a furry, although I usually don't identify as one I like furries, and if I could I would make one, could meaning me being too lazy to actually make one, as I would rather do other things. I like furry hentai, and that's most of the reason I'm a furry.

I'm a furry, though aside from reading Ballerina Mafia and viewing artwork every now and then I'm hardly active in the fandom at all. I have a FA account and a fursona, but I've never really done much with either.

There are metric assloads of crap stuff, I assure you, but that's why one has to learn how to separate the wheat from the chaff. I guess that even most hardcore furries (I'm definitely not one, for me fursuits for instance are quite ridiculous) can't honestly say they like all the stuff.

Basically, it's like a supermarket, you drive with your cart between shelves and pick up what floats your boat. If anything from that department.

You'll have to be more specific with this part.(Mostly because there isn't crap in that fandom. At least to me

And a person doesn't have to be into the sexual things. They might be just into the clean art. Or maybe the music. Or maybe the clean stories. And besides, not all furries are hardcore totally immersed furries.

The Furry Fandom is unique because it's not based around a Film, TV show, or video game. It's pretty general as it is about anthropomorphic animals, usually mammals, but there is the reptilian sub-fandom of scalies.

Not everyone who wears a fursuit has a fetish with them(Though it sometimes, not usually, the case). A fursuit could be interpreted in a number of way in which each of them is different. The most common type is for displaying a fursona(Which I have tons of), and then there are the more rarer cases.

I'm not sure if I get what you've meant, but I'll try to answer: I enjoy it as an art style, a genre too. I admire talent of artists who are able to create images of anthropomorfic animals which I can assess as beautiful, not only due to utter perfection of style, but also due to the way they shape their opuses, design the characters... In my humble opinion, Dark Natasha is among the best artists in that category, but she did (IIRC she's not anymore active) a lot of: tasteful nudity or adult art. The precision of her style is uncomparable, at least to my mind.

I admit that I like almost all kinds of furry visual arts (maybe bar the 3d designs and gore), even adult ones, but... But I never considered them as a fetish or whatsoever. I simply cannot deny that some of furry artists are damn good.

I've encountered a few amphibians (that might count as scaly though), some insects, even a few fish. Also lots of hybrids, especially colorful neon ones. Lots of neon furries.

Insects can be really, really well-executed, my favourite bug-creator is WhiteMantis. I've seen some slugs as well, but that's not my cup of tea.
