That's a lie. Communism is all about a few people controlling the lives of millions. The Soviet Union killed over 60 million people for a variety of reasons, all in the interest of the ideal communist state. The communists will always fail! Freedom will always prevail.

The USSR was state capitalist, not communist. It didn't even reach socialism. The state became the rich person. True communism is a lot different. Not only that but the USSR had a lot of things the US still doesn't have. Free nationalized healthcare, and free education at all levels to name too. Not only that but they were technologically advanced. They achieved nearly all of the firsts in the space race other than putting a man on the moon. First man in space, first man to orbit the earth, first animal in space, first animal to orbit the earth, fist probe on another planet, first satellite, the list goes on.

True communism is always about suppressing everyone else! There will always be another Stalin when it comes to communism; another Hitler when it comes to socialism.
