Bio: Though born in the Federation few would ever know it by talking to him, or examining his list of friends and contacts. He takes great pride in being a space kid, born onboard the U.S.S. Netherland to a diplomat and tactical officer. As a child aboard a Galaxy class ship, he received and excelled in the finest learning systems of the Federation. By the time he was 17 he was quad lingual, and there was hardly a subject he didn't know a considerable sum about. At that age, his ship was hit by a group of pirates. The Netherland easily destroyed the ships, but sustained heavy damage, killing many if its crew and leaving it dead in space. With his parents dead, and no living relatives that he knew of, Lucido left the ship. He looked through the cultures of the galaxy he had been 'forbidden' to learn of and visit. Visiting the Tholian Assembly, he was careful to not be hasty to the xenophobic aliens, but the offer of a close look at Federation databases, and a stolen shuttlecraft was irresistible to the technological loving people. His time in the assembly was an enlightening one, though only able to speak to a few high ranking members of the Assembly while his shuttle was taken apart and studied, he was able to learn about their culture, their military, and become friendly with a few members. He was offered his shuttle back after almost two months, several bars of latnium and a wardrobe of Tholian silk aboard. He next went to the Cardassian Union, acting as a defector and independent trader of Federation technology and data. Though the Union was extremely weary of him, and kept him under even tighter raps that the Tholians, the data he downloaded from the Netherland was determined to be genuine. After his data was proven to be genuine, he was allowed to see Cardassia-Prime while escorted by an agent of the Obsidian Order. With time he was eventually seen as trustable by the Obsidian Order and allowed to dine with Cardassian officers, and visit markets without a direct escort. He worked hard to be trusted by the Guls he could socialize with, and to learn to cook Cardassian dishes. After almost nine months on Cardassia Prime, he left in a new Cardassian Shuttle, stocked with food and drink from Cardassia, along with his data from the Netherland. Lastly the Breen Confederacy, after he talked his way out of becoming a slave, he was coldly informed he would land on Breen, and his shuttle would be studied by Breen scientists so they could prepare to take Cardassian Territory. Not as kind as the other hosts he was with, the Thots took what they wanted from the young, attractive, fair skinned half breed, and offered not even conversation nor asked consent. Though he was taken advantage of, he did manage to find some common ground with a couple of Thots, and were fast friends, despite the fact he was forced to act as a consort to many of them. After half a year in the Confederacy, in which he suffered only slightly compared to most visitors he was offered a shuttle to a major trade port, departing with a Breen produced EV suit and some latnium for his trouble. Several Thots reminded him they would always be happy to have him back, though only one or two in a wholesome way. Finally, looking for his next adventure, he signed on with a ship called Shadowdancer, hoping to use his web of contacts in rarely visited governments to become a valuable, though not hard working member of the crew.

As for your app: up his age more, like around somewhere in the late 20s-early 30s, the bio isn't consistent enough to his age range. However, if you wanna keep his age, you're gonna need to lose both "contacts" on the secondary skill sets. Post when you've edited it (approved otherwise, waiting on edits so i can add it to list of peeps).

On a more serious note...

Guys, when I first brought up the idea of the 'Dancer on the Trek thread, I wasn't kidding when I said it takes the player to come up with their own interaction and situations to develop and mold your characters. This could mean a lot of oneshots, or simply post about the comings and goings (and even personal thoughts) on -or by- your char. You may think it repetitive, maybe not worth the time to do it; I beg to differ. A char cannot be fully realized in one post, nor understood that quickly. Depth: treat the char like a person. This was how 'Dancer was originally shaped, and while it was played via email group, the concept isn't that far apart to be played in the forums. The only difference I can think of about email vs. forum was the amount of collabs done in email. Collabs aren't easy to do in forums, but that's why you make worthwhile posts so the other can participate in.

We are in a slow start, and that's fine, but this is a reminder nonetheless.

You wanna get into your own shady dealings without the rest knowing? Why not.
Will it backfire on you and drag the crew in? Depends how you play it.
You want to start a bar fight? Have at the.
Have others join in? Tell the others.
You've got a personal project that helps the ship, but wanna keep it secret/wait for a big surprise? Go for it.
Got a past to reveal? Post it, the history of your char is equally as important as whatever is going on concurrently.
Don't think your char's history is worth the time to post because players won't read it? Think again.
'Dancer's sentient computer is the OPs property? Nope. I gave it a personality, that's all. Have fun with it.

My only rule has been and always will be: do not blow up the ship (and of course no godmod). Create situations. I can't keep creating situations for you to react to; if that's all I'm doing then it really doesn't bode well in personal development of your char. Oneshots in the IC is encouraged, practically even needed because the development comes from you,the player.

Due to my being out this weekend moving, I won't be settled in until Sunday, maybe Monday. Its free reign until I return. There's a whole station you can do whatever you like.

Tilt, if Zep comes in this weekend, just make note on my comments about his original app. If he puts in a new app, I trust yer judgment :3
