Introduction
Welcome to the Pacific Cooperation Pact, created via merger between The Pacific Coalition founded by Flardania and The Polarian Empire, and the Oriental Cooperation Pact founded by Cyella. We are an alliance committed to promoting trade and military aid/cooperation within Asia and the Pacific. The Pacific Cooperation Pact is meant to have nations realize that we are neighbors who stand up for each other, just as a healthy and vibrant community would. If your nation is located Asia, the Middle East, the Pacific, or borders the Pacific you havemet the first criteria. We are pro-democratic imperialist, nationalist, socialist, capitalist and monarchist. Any nation with any other Ideology is free to apply as well.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
- This alliance is meant to encourage trade and provide defense aid to fellow Asian and Pacific based nations.
- This thread is open for those considering to sign up as well as discussing issues and topics within Asia, the Middle East, and the Pacific.
- Standard NS Forum rules shall be applied here at all times without failures.
- If you are not an accepted member please do not spam in this thread. But if you wish to discuss official matter (joining, requesting assistance) you are allowed to do so.
- When we're not discussing war and roleplays we also functions as small social group, and simply have fun with each other.
- Collectively, we prefer having a pre-planned RP proposed, instead of having some random declaration of war made against us.
- We reserve the right to not engage into any roleplay with certain parties.
- We reserve the right to not provide military aid if the the majority of the PCP Council decides it is not a defensive or justified conflict.
- Depending on situation, a nation outside of Asia or the Pacific can appeal a case.
Governmental Positions in the Pacific Cooperation Pact
INTERIM PRESIDENT: Deng Enlai (Western European Republic)
(May accept or deny applicants; may accept or deny aid requests; may announce military interventions, as long as they comply with the Enlai Declaration; may sign proposals into law; may sign trade, defense, or economic pacts; may approve or reject trade, defense, or economic pacts signed by the Secretaries of State, Defense, or Commerce; may issue executive orders on occasion)

INTERIM SECRETARY OF STATE:
(May sign economic pacts; may attend international summits representing the PCP; may advise President on foreign policy)

(May sign defense pacts; may attend international summits representing the PCP; may advise President on military policy; may announce military interventions, as long as they comply with the Enlai Declaration)
INTERIM SECRETARY OF COMMERCE:

Mission of The Pacific Cooperation Pact
a. Establishing lasting respect for the sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, and national identities, regardless of political ideologies and systems, between Asian and Pacific nations.
b. Avoiding interference in its members internal affairs unless in extreme circumstances.
c. Refraining from interfering in its members internal affairs militarily unless a coup brings a desire to restore previous government.
d. Instituting shared commitment and collective responsibility in promoting peace and unity among Asian and Pacific-based nations.
e. Encouraging the spirit of nationalism and patriotism among its members.
f. Maintaining a joint military, formed to help handle conflicts in the Pacific.
1. Members are not required to pledge support in terms of troops, but are encouraged to help in some shape or form.
g. Banning warfare between members of the PCP unless on a just and reasonable cause and after approval from two of these three nations: Cyllea, Flardania, and the nation currently hosting the President of the PCP. Declaring war without both of those reasons is grounds for expulsion.
h. Aiding nations that request aid after a military invasion or terrorist attack.
1. Non-member eligible nations may also formally request aid.
i. Establishing free transit between nations of the PCP and extradition rules all nations of the PCP, stating that all extradition requests- excluding those exceptions outlined in Clause 1a of the Mission Statement- must be fulfilled.
1. Extradition may be denied in cases declared refuge.
j. Supporting members during times of economic or military need.
k. Adhering to international laws by International Organization that is recognized and sanctioned by the Alliance.
l. Relying on diplomacy and peaceful means in resolving conflicts among its members and non-members.
m. Stating that nation has right to refuse to provide aid if the nations forces are unavailable or stretched
n. Believing that the sword is not the only way to go. To achieve peace in Asia and the Pacific
o. Believing that it is just to share tips on building strong wealthy economies with one another.
p. Believing that we have individual minds and all members have the right to disagree with one another so long as they respect each other's opinions.
Notice: Upon acceptance to the PCP, your country, represented by your delegate, will be given a place on the PCP Council. The council provides a platform for intergovernmental dialogue. The headquarters of the PCP will be situated in LaRousse, Flardania.
