As you know, this is the most widely hated feature of the new board, far surpassing even the puke-green color-scheme. But it is completely out of hand now: it causes my browser to freeze up for a while (about 15 seconds: it says "Done" in the corner but evidently isn't really done yet), virtually guaranteeing that if I post to a hot topic, there will be ANOTHER "At least one post..." by the time I re-submit. I just went through SEVENTEEN cycles of this to get a single post through: I would have given up, but I just had to see how many times would be required. Can't this monster be killed?

Yes. Almost every post requires about three clicks of Submit before the system finally throws up its hands and yells "Fine! But don't blame me if someone's already said what you would have said already, had it not been for me!"

Mkay. If it could be done, that'd be grand. A little checkbox in the UCP saying "Do you want to turn on post review", defaulting to off, should satisfy everyone.

I now see a checkbox "Notify me of new posts" along with the options to include signature (default on), shut off parsing of URL's etc. I believe this is your requested feature. I'm happy, you're happy, everybody's happy?
