The aircraft disappeared from the radars at 03:55 AM
At 12:00 AM, debris and bodies from the plane have been sighted on the side of the mountain with no survivors. Firefighters from the scene recovered both black boxes: the CVR was destroyed while the FDR had barely any readable data. Studying the wreckage, it was found out that part of the stabilizer came off the aircraft as a result of poorly done maintenance works done two years before the crash. The plane went it into an uncontrollable spiral to the ground, with no chance of recover.
Shortly after, the Northernese company that repaired the plane was fined, and the airline went out of business.

CANON UPDATE (OOC):
I have given this a lot of thought and I have decided to do some major changes to the Walosian History Canon.

The largest change that I will be doing is the removal of the “Walosian-Khelsharian War of 2009” and the following abdication of Empress Liat as well as the removal of the character Liat completely. The reason why is because I have developed my nation into a more realistic fashion during the 2014-2015 era and after reviewing older post I see that the war and abdication of Liat is both unrealistic, doesn’t fit with the overall nation and is simply unprofessional.

Flight:
Date: 2002 May 1st
Summary: Shot down by District Area Cambodia rebel forces
Site: Battambang, District 003, District Area of Cambodia
Passengers: 258
Crew: 15
Injuries: 0
Fatalities: 273
Survivors: 0
Aircraft Type: Daesun Generation IV Chun-Wang
Operator: NJAA Aviation International
Registration: D4CWS11
Flight Origin: Busan Imperial Airport
Stopovers (if any): District Area of Vietnam: Hanoi Imperial Airport
Destination: Florida: Miami International Airport
Picture of the aircraft: Artist's Rendering in Flight

The aircraft was on a set trajectory but an automated flight system failure at 8:55 p.m. forced the pilot to manually steer the plane. This was later revealed to be the rebel forces hacking the aircraft flight system. False information relayed by Hanoi Air Traffic Control (which was revealed to be highjacked by rebels as well) forced the plane to go near rebel territory in Cambodia and attempted to land in Phnom Penh Imperial Airport to repair the broken flight system. It was shot down by a rebel magnetic shrapnel cannon.

This incident sparked the 10 year delay of Vietnam's consideration for becoming an Autonomous Province as well as the Invasion of Battambang, which resulted in nearly 3,000 dead rebel forces and nearly 300 dead Imperial Joseon soldiers. A memorial is dedicated to the people who lost their lives in Busan Imperial Airport's lobby.

On the evening of July 5, 2012, the Tolmakian military plane took off soundly. Radio contact was lost after 2 hours. Nothing of the flight was ever found. Rumors say that the plane was shot down, while others say it was carrying something from its destination other than troops. Other details are kept hidden by the military.

Ronnaz-Die's air-force squadron 1-B callsign "Raider squadron" Was scheduled on a bomb run to an unnamed, smaller, neighboring nation that made threats against the greater Ronnaz-Die. When the squadron was sent in, an unexpected hail-storm greatly damaged on of the fighters engines. The lone fighter crashed over a large field, while teh other Fighters were forced to wave off. The Pilot manually detonated the Jet so our Technology wouldn't fall into enemy hands. The explosion, of course, killed the pilot and over 320 civilians and 200 Military Ronnaz-Die infantry stationed in the area.

An experimental AAC experienced a catostrophic engine failure and crashed into a small town, where it exploded killing sixty seven of a seven hundred strong crew along with five hundred and thirty one civilian occupants of the town.

It did however cause a revision in the design of future AACs to prevent further incidents, as regulation all AACs can now commit to an emergency landing on just 20% normal power.
They also have 6 lift engines instead of two, three forward momentum engines instead of one and the addition of multiple stabilisers and emergency thrusters.

Iberia Flight 86, 1961.

A Tu-114 airliner flying from El Prat Airport (Barcelona, SFR Spain) to Schönefeld in East Berlin, GDR was mistaken for an An-12 military transport and downed by NATO air defenses near Stuttgart. As a result, the Socialist Federal Republic of Spain broke diplomatic relations with West Germany until 1976.

Roughly eighty cycles ago, there was an incident where the FTL drive on an aging civilian transport liner went critical. The vessel was carrying over thirty two hundred passengers. Only a hundred and sixteen people were able to make it the emergency pods before the drive when super critical and destroyed the vessel. That was the worst aerospace incident our nation has had outside of war since the founding of our first colony.

During the Sad Days' Civil War (2010 AD) in the Queendom of Haiz, the enemy rebel forces hijacked a jet airliner from the country and, faking an evacuation of senior Haiz officials, slammed the plane into TurtleShroom's only international airport. The actual death toll was low, because the plane was empty aside from the bound and gagged crew and a few staff, and the airport always had low traffic, so the deaths were again limited to staff.
The real damage in this attack was the morale damage and the shock of hitting a target like an airport. It shook the country to its core.

Our worst aviation disaster happened on November 29, 1989. Adab Airlines Flight 250, a Boeing 707-320 carrying 4 members of the cockpit crew (including a navigator) and 189 passengers, crashed into the sea amid a thunderstorm 10 km away from the coastal Emperor Alulim V International Airport, Kuwait City. Poor visibility was blamed for the crash, although since then suspicions have been raised that the cockpit crew members were intoxicated.

Just three hundred years before Emperor Crutiaolaggo took his place on the throne, a Worldship named Meyas'Dmana died for unknown reasons and fell into the nearby planet Uunsalvi-Nuva, wiping out life on the planet and leaving the inhabitants of the ship to die of starvation. A total of three billion Bionicle died over the next four years, including the initial 1.3 billion which lived on the planet.
