The Dubois Arena was loud with activity. The audience was buzzing with excitement, while cameras panned over them and the still darkened stage. Stations from around the world was broadcasting live along with several commentators who was already speaking to the viewers of their respectful nations.

Suddenly, the lights dimmed and the stage was illuminated slightly.

The audience began to cheer as the band on stage was revealed. It was a sign that the World Hit Festival had begun.

The Hex Girls stood on the stage dressed identically in black leather dresses. The lead singer, Nicole, known for her short blonde hair, stood in the front while the other girls stood directly behind her.

A piano played in the background while every screen on stage glowed a bright red then purple. The colorful patterns changed in sync with the melody.

Cameras zoomed in on Nicole as she began singing.

Hear the sounds
All the crowds

We’re chasing our dreams

The sun goes down
We’re all around
No one can stop us now

The stage lights began blinking rapidly and turning various colors. The girls jumped up and down enthusiastically as they began singing.

Cause we’re going to stay and party all night
And we’ll keep running till we beat the clock

Oh yeah, we’re going to stay and party all night
And we’ll keep dancing till-

The music stops

As one, the stage lights flashed and a pattern appeared on the screens. Fourteen backup dancers ran on the stages as they, along with the girls, started off dancing. The band and the dancers twirled and slid to one side as a computerized voice was heard over the music.

Dance

They then began lowering themselves to the ground and rising back up while moving their hips.

Dance

The lights blinked rapidly again and turned a dark red color. The images on the screen changed as the second verse came in.

It’s time to celebrate
Music up, let it quake
We’ll tour the whole world
No sleep till tomorrow

Let’s see what you can do
Show us just how you move
We’ll see the whole world
And dance till tomorrow

Nicole walked to the middle of the stage and on the large platform. She smiled at the crowd as she sung softly.

Hear the sounds
All the crowds

We’re chasing our dreams

The sun goes down
We’re all around
No one can stop us now

The other girls walked to the other side of the stage and clapped their hands together. The backup dancers skipped around in a circle as the lights once again blinked rapidly before flashing and turning a bright blue color.

Cause we’re going to stay and party all night
And we’ll keep running till we beat the clock

Oh yeah, we’re going to stay and party all night
And we’ll keep dancing till-

The music stops

The music stops (dance)

Nicole rocked her hips and bobbed her head to the music before pumping her fist in the air.

The music stops

(dance)

The girls joined Nicole in the middle of the platform where it began rising slightly from the stage. Together they danced and circled each other while singing.

Come on and let’s get close
Hands up let's make a toast
We'll rule the whole world
Don't stop till tomorrow

We're changing all the rules
Show you just how we move
Make this last forever
Cause we're invincible together

The image on the screen switched to a different pattern. The backup dancers jumped up and down with the group as they sung the bridge.
We’re living our life outside the box
And we’re doing what we want and ignoring the clock

Let’s make this last forever

Forever

Forever

The stage lights dimmed until only five spotlights were trained on the girls. They sung in harmony and gracefully. Nichole pointed out towards the crowd and encouraged them to sing along.

Hear the sounds
All the crowds

The sun goes down
We’re all around

No one can stop us now

The lights blinked rapidly on final time while strobe lights surrounded the stage and went out into the audience. The backup dancers flipped backwards and

Cause we’re going to stay and party all night
And we’ll keep running till we beat the clock

No one can stop us now

Oh yeah, we’re going to stay and party all night
And we’ll keep dancing till-

The music stops

The cameras zoomed onto the group who was still dancing on the platform. Nicole whipped her hair back and forth playfully. laser lights swirled around them and the background image changed to a black and white moving abstraction.

Yeah yeah yeah

The music stops (dance)

Yeah yeah yeah

The music stops

Yeah yeah yeah

The music stops

Yeah yeah yeah

The strobe lights circled around the stage while the backup dancers jumped and pumped their fists in the air. The group finished the last part of the song.

Cause we’re going to stay and party all night

Yeah yeah yeah

And we’ll keep running till we beat the clock

Yeah yeah yeah

Oh yeah, we’re going to stay and party all night

Party all night

Going to party all night

Till the music stops

At the end of the song large puffs of smoke shot out the sides of the stage. The audience cheered loudly as the stage platform lowered and the Hex Girls bowed. Nicole waved happily at the crowd and blew them a kiss.

"Mulțumesc, thank you!"

Vicky, the brown skinned girl of the group, waved before speaking as well. "It's an honor to welcome you to Ovanshire! Now give a warm welcome to your hosts for tonight, Greg and Kat!"

Cameras moved to the far left of the stage where Greg and Kat walked onto the left platform. The screens behind them showed them in real time for those farther back in the arena.

Greg: Hello everyone! Welcome to the 14th World Hit Festival, are you ready?

(The audience cheers wildly)

Kat grinned and nodded her head.

Kat: "We thought as much. First off, let's give another round of applause to the amazing Hex Girls!"

The screens switch to backstage where the Hex Girls are now sitting in the greenroom, they all smile and wave at the camera.

Greg: Tonight over twenty contestants will go head to head with the hopes of gaining your vote.

Kat: "Yes indeed, remember, your vote is 50% of the final outcome so don't forget to do your part. At the end it's all about who you think is the winner."

Greg: "All you Vampirians watching, remember you can vote online at Facebat for a chance to win a new X9 hovercar by Honda. The winner will be announced at the end of the show. So what are ya' waiting for? Get out those coffins and get your arse online."

Kat rolls her eyes playfully at her co-host and he gives her a coy wink.

Kat: "But you can also vote by dialing the numbers provided after each contestant is done performing. Also, you can send a text to the official WHF phone line, or through hash-tagging on Bitter. We're everywhere people so there's no reason to slack off on your votes."

Greg: "Now one last note before we unleash these amazing contestants on you. For all you live streamers, you can stay up to date on everything going on right here. Want to know how? Easy, just keep a eye on the news ticker on the World Hit Festival's official website."

Kat: "Ok Greg, I don't know about you, but I know I'm ready for some more amazing music. Am I right?"

(The crowd cheers again)

Greg: "Well let's not keep them waiting. Let the 14th World Hit Festival--"

Greg: & Kat: "Begin!"

The stage includes a large area to perform in. This includes the right/left walkways and the middle platform that can rise up from the stage, or lower down. All stage lights (including any lights in the arena as a whole) can be changed to better suit your performance. All screens on the stage are HD and can be used to display images, colors, or simply show your contestant performing live. There are several light fixtures located above the stage this include (but not limited to):

1. THE JASMINIA ISLANDS

Days of Torment - Natalie Sourne
Tune: No Rest For The Wicked - Lykke Li

Natalie Sourne was sitting in the green room. Despite being an established artist back in the Jasminia Islands, she was feeling a little nervous. She hadn't had to compete against other before and the prospect daunted her a little. It didn't help that she was performing first either. She took some deep breaths and tried to relax but the words, 'Gotta make a good impression' kept buzzing through her head. The opening act was over; the fans were whipped into a frenzy; the man with sharp teeth was telling her she was on next; 'Here we go...'

Natalie stood on the round centre stage at the front of the audience draped in a funeral gown. The stage behind her was smothered in thick dry ice clouds. The lights shone on Natalie but in the background, cloaked figures could be faintly seen against the monochrome backdrop on the screen. Around Natalie were crystals of light, suspended from the ceiling at different heights. Natalie stepped up to the microphone stand as the haunting chimes of the opening piano echoed through the auditorium.

Dark clouds rain in my heart
I’m washed away in the flood
Your smile haunts my unnerved mind
I know I’m not enough

Natalie pushed herself towards her mic, bowing her head over the top of it, and closed her eyes. With a great pain she faintly sang the next line.
Seeing mirages of love

Suddenly, she snapped her head back up. She clutched at her hair, pulling it this way and the other like a possessed soul, snarling and singing angrily. The screen faded to a brilliant white.
And I wake for days of torment
Eternity, laid on the floor
Falling through into the chasm
Leaving the world I once adored

As the chorus finished, Natalie half-collapsed and began to gasp. She was bent over but slowly straightened back up again to sing the next verse. The screen had returned to the dreary foggy backdrop.
What god can ever help me?
My soul drifts away
Will there be another sunrise
Or has night banished the day?

Natalie pulled the mic from its stand and held it close to her lips. The cloaked figures in the background began to move towards her with, gliding ghost-like across the fog. With breathy gasps, Natalie sang quietly.
Floating on seas of despair

The cloaked figures surrounded Natalie. There faces could not be seen but their eerie ethereal forms danced manically around Natalie who was squirming as if she was being exorcised. The backdropped pulsed white and black in time with the music.
And I wake for days of torment
Eternity, laid on the floor
Falling through into the chasm
Leaving the world I once adored

The cloaked figures lunged for Natalie. They jostled her as the began ripping off her gown, she did not attempt to resist their unstoppable force.
Hold the knife to my chest
Say my prayers with last breaths
Close my eyes and say goodbye and count to ten

With their shreds of clothes, the cloaked figures dissolved back into the darkness leaving Natalie in the tattered remains of her dress standing alone and shivering.
Everything starts to blur

The stage began to rise but the light crystals around her did not move, thus forming prison bars trapping Natalie in. She struggled with them and tried to tear them down but just could not as she sings the final chorus.
And I wake for days of torment
Eternity, laid on the floor
Falling through into the chasm
Leaving the world I once adored

All the screens and lights went black. A single spotlight shone on Natalie who was weeping pitifully. Singing the last lines with a melancholy whimper, she withdrew a small knife nestled in the breast of her dress. She held it above her with two hands, blade pointing downwards, and swayed slightly.
Hold the knife to my chest
Say my prayers with last breaths
Close my eyes and say goodbye and count to ten

As she sang the last the line, Natalie collapsed and laid on the raised stage. The stage lowered slowly as the music wound down to a halt.

The audience were awestruck. They sat in silence on the edge of their seats, desperate to know what had happened to Natalie. After a few tense moments, Natalie stirred and got up, bowing to the audience. A sigh of relief circled the auditorium as people got up to applaud. Natalie was crying, "Thank you everybody!"

Sparkle Orchestra - Beautiful Hills

Slovinan's in the Dubois arena made themselves heard with cheers and appauses as their nations representatives were announced. People stood up waving little Slovinan flags. Meanwhile in the darkness the orchestra made ready their instruments. The members of the orchestra and chorus were members of Slovenya's very best, having won in the national competition to enter the 14th World Hit Festival in Vampirum. Slovenya has never before entered, and this was their time to shine and show the world the collective talent of their entire nation. Leading the orchestra was 73 year old veteran conductor Muhammad Brajušković. On the piano, leading the tune was 47 year old Nina Ignjatović.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

As the lights shone on the orchestra the Conductor turned to the crowd

Conductor: Bismallahi Arahman Araheem...In the name of Allah, all mighty, all merciful

Turning back to his orchestra he lifts his wand gently and elegantly, and sways his arms from side to side as the music picks up softly. The piano starts...

Light up my village
Light up my fields
Adorn our nation
Dignify our people,

The halls echo the streaming sounds of peace, and tranquility

For the mercy of God has swept across our lands
I stand in awe, my beautiful hills,

The lights are dim and intermittent lights of faint purple, cyan, violet, and various shades of pinks and greens make their way on the stage.

Vibrant reds, Subtle oranges, silent whites,
are our colors,

As the colors are sang a flag of the nation appears in the background.

Our roses blossom with each drop of rain
Oh how I stand in wonder, my beautiful hills,

Behind the orchestra is a large screen blended in with the lights, showing the nature of Slovenya. The various flora and fauna.

Light up my village
Light up my fields
Stand proud, my beautiful hills

Images of the grand palace of Latazki are displayed. The camera follows royal halls, the grand courts and passages.

Oh Gallica, speak your charms
Dear Floribunda's, comfort us
Shed your bounty and flourish
you are we, and we are you
My beautiful hills

The chorus hums to the dwindling down of the background music. In the screen the final images are shown of Slovenya. The grand mosque, the faces of the locals, and a space view of the planet. Just then, the conductor lowers his arms and the stage fades to black. In the crowd there's a thundering applause and the lights come on as all the members of the Sparkle Orchestra wave and make their final bows, thanking the people of the nation.

Melody: Nikki Williams - Glowing

Katarina is joined by 4 backing dancers from United Dance Heroes.
The lyrics in brackets () are sung by the backing vocals.

When the postcard video finished, this appears in the LCD. It's a countdown, when it hit "0" seconds, the smokes are coming out of the stage and Katarina is coming out from backstage. Katarina started singing.
Babe, oh, you're so wonderful
Take me into your power love tonight
Save me and turn me on tonight
Be my wild wild love
And don't stop me oh

Suddenly, the dancers are coming to the stage, dancing hip-hop. While, the lasers are spotting at Katarina. The beats are wilder and faster.
You make me, oh baby
Oh damn, you're addicting
Baby, oh you baby
You're so insatiable
You make me, oh baby
Feels like a maniac

The lyrics video are playing in the LCD, like this. The lasers are stopped. The beats are slower and Kat's voice turned soft.
I'm addicted to you
Baby, what should I do?
You leave my heart
But I'm still stuck with you
Addicted to you
Baby, what should I do?
Kamu hipnotis aku
Dengan cintamu itu

The beats are back to normal like the verse. The lyrics video are still playing. A man hologram appears in stage, Kat is seems like punching him and attacking him. (PS: it's an example of hologram man, it doesn't mean we hate Michael Jackson, we love him. His music is the best.)
Save me, this is an emergency
Turn me on, I wanna die alive
Sink me, in your love ocean
Cintai aku, seperti tak ada esok

The beats are wilder and faster. The lasers are back. The lyrics video are still playing.
You make me, oh baby
Oh damn, you’re addicting
Baby, oh you baby
You’re so insantiable
You make me, oh baby
Feels like a maniac

The lasers are wilder. Kat is giving unexpected high note. Kat is dancing hip-hop with one of the dancer.
I’m addicted to you
Baby, what should I do?
You leave my heart
But I’m still stuck with you
Addicted to you
Baby, what should I do?
You bleed my heart
Get ready for my attack
2x
I'm addicted to you!

After the song is ending, the fire is coming out of the stage.

Katarina shouts "THANK YOU! VOTE FOR TITANIUMLAND! "

Gavin Stacey- Give me strength
No tune, he sings with no music but with this feet.

Gavin Stacey waks onstage with the weirdest costume WHF has ever seen, one made of meat.

Lord. Please Give me strength.
My wife just dumped me
I have no where to go!
I beg, please give me strength

On the World of nationstates
And Lord named Max
I love thee, I love yee
Oh please strength I need

chorus:
I love you, I love thee.
Oh Lord, Max Barry!
I know my religion is Barrism
And I know it ain't real
But Lord Barry
Give me strength.

:
Fast tempo bit

Oh listen to me.
I am in a costume made of meat.
I want to see my kids
I can't
And I love the great big crowd
I love the people
I love the world
I love Max Barry!

I know I am dumb.
I got 5 F's in my Kewqae...
But lord. I passed my English
Math and science. So spear me.
A life ti live, oh please.
Don't send my kids, to... to... Chickenville
It stinks of KFC
Give me strength

Eräänä Päivänä

SKLO

SKLO is a small group of classical singers, composers, and dancers, made up of two women and two men- Suvi, Kasumi, Launo, and Othmar. Nationally acclaimed, they were selected by SterGo100 as a completely different approach to WHF following Tödlichebujoku's shockingly terrible result in its debut. Veering away from pop, SterGo100 went for a more classical and traditional approach to the festival, choosing SKLO for their polished performances and unique take on the style. Suvi Adlersflügel, the lead singer, described their WHF entry as something that showcased both the talent of the singer (herself) and songwriters (herself and Othmar- Othmar is the other main singer in the group but is currently taking a break) but also the talent of the composers (Kasumi and Launo), the main choreographer (Kasumi), and the dancing abilities of everyone in the group.

Suvi is in a silvery flowing dress and standing on a high platform in the middle of the stage. The LED screens show the texture of a rippling gold silk sheet, looking almost more like late afternoon sunbeams than ripples in cloth
Translations

Minä itken, yritän nähdä
I cry, I try to see

A couple in matching suits, revealed to be Othmar and Launo, step on to the stage and dance a slow, graceful dance
Yritän koskettaa kasvojasi
I try to touch your face

The spotlights behind her arrange in a way so that it looks like her head is radiating light. Othmar and Launo circle around the platform
Eräänä päivänä,
One day,

She prepares for the vocal exercise that is the second "ä", gesturing toward the audience as a light breeze rustles her hair and dress, and begins the final and most challenging line
Ymmärrätte
You will understand

Kasumi, in a shorter deep violet dress, rises from the middle platform, which had been lowered previously. She aids Suvi, who is making her way down from the tower. The LED screens turn white as if consumed by midday sunlight, then darken to a deep red, appearing to beat with the music as the instrumental begins. Suvi and Kasumi dance an elaborate fast-paced dance, and Othmar and Launo speed up theirs to match. The two pairs whirl about, melding and interchanging members, and pausing with the music, in a surprisingly highly-choreographed routine that eventually brings them back into their original pairings. With the climactic end, several crossing jets of fire shoot out from the edge of the stage and the gray tower suddenly bursts into flame from a hidden spark near the bottom, the fire spiraling up to the top. Suvi, Kasumi, Launo and Othmar bow, with the towering inferno illuminating the stage behind them.

"Thank you, Ovanshire! Kiitos!" the group shouts as it waves to the audience, and then leaves the stage. The flaming tower runs out of fuel soon after, with wisps of smoke rolling off its surface as a crew carefully removes it in preparation for the next performance.

13. Polkopia

Yvonne Smolnikov - "All Alone"
Tune: Helena Paparizou - Survivor

Language: English

Yvonne Smolnikov had come in 2nd place in the Landa vy Polkopiya which had served as Polkopia's National Final for the Worldvision Song Contest. Ever since the introduction of the Landa vy Polkopiya, it has been custom to send the winner to the Worldvision Song Contest, and the runner up to the World Hit Festival, where the artist will hopefully gain enough experience to participate in Worldvision. Ever since Hannah Morkowskaya came in second place with her song "Down" in the 12th World Hit Festival, Polkopia has not returned to the contest. After missing one edition, the nation of Polkopia is back, hoping to finally secure 1st place after numerous attempts.

Yvonne stood on the stage, accompanied by three backup singers who were placed on a raised pedestal towards the left side of the stage. Yvonne, however, stood in the middle, wearing a comfortable outfit. The stage was set in a deep purple tone as well, matching her dress. The music began to play and Yvonne stood over by the microphone stand, singing.

All this time, you never saw
How lonely I was
It gave me time to recognize
That I don't need you.

You locked me out...
Of your life...

Your love meant nothing to me
So I had to leave

The stage lit up in a multitude of colors right before the beat picked up. Now, the backup singers sang with Yvonne as she held her fist up high, singing in a much faster pace than before.

You just left me all alone
With no place to call home
Where was I?
What was I?

But I'll leave you all alone
You'll look back - I'll be gone
Where am I?
What am I?

Yvonne picks up the microphone from the stand and sings, holding the microphone in her hand. Her other hand performs motions such as flipping her hair and hand signals.

You know I won't think twice
Before leaving you.
If I want to be find true love
I need to see this through

You locked me out...
Of your life...

Yvonne walked to the very edge of the stage, looking at the crowd right in front of her, smiling while singing.

You just left me all alone
With no place to call home
Where was I?
What was I?

But I'll leave you all alone
You'll look back - I'll be gone
Where am I?
What am I?

I'm no longer all alone
I found myself a backbone
Who am I?
What am I?

You just left me all alone
With no place to call home
Where was I?
What was I?

The lights dimmed to the point where the only one visible on stage was Yvonne. She stood right in front of her backup singers, however they could not be seen.

So many days you were gone
I had to somehow live on
With this relationship... no.

Every night I had cried
Because you know I had tried
To make this work... yeah!

The lights turned back on and the backup singers were gone. Yvonne climbed onto the pedestal and sang, meanwhile her and her singers' voices echoed throughout the stage. Later, in the middle of the chorus, the backing singers would enter through the front, through a large huff of red smoke, taking their place on all sides of the pedestal but the front.

You just left me all alone
With no place to call home
Where was I?
What was I?

But I'll leave you all alone
You'll look back - I'll be gone
Where am I?
What am I?

I'm no longer all alone
I found myself a backbone
Who am I?
What am I?

No longer alone!

The crowd cheered and Yvonne bowed. "Thank you!"

15. Lipnitia

Robert Ižgetković - Rikošet (Ricochet)

Tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F92L2Vwfm-A

This was the first time for Lipnitia in a festival like this, so it was obvious the best artist would be picked for it... And it was so. It was announced our entry is going to be the breathtaking, popular Lipnitian song, Rikošet, performed by singer, Robert Ižgetković, an experienced man with a career in singing stretching back to the 80's, when he was one of the youngest singers to hit the charts, aged just 13. He grew up in a music family, his father being a bassist for a popular rock band, Ratnica, and his mother a neo-classical pianist.

When Ižgetković was picked, you could really see the joy in his eyes. 'This is it,' he thought, 'This is it!'

When he walked onto the stage, covered with the neon blankets of the vivid, colorful lights, he looked at the waves of the hands of millions of cheering people. He picked up his shining guitar, which picked up the light from the stage making is as shiny as a mirror, and began playing with the rest of his band. After the introduction, the first words came out of his mouth:

I ti ne zgudi se mnem
Ta ti ne vedi
I ja ne vem sam
I sam tak sedmo ja robi
Ja ne vem, ne vem
Kak mam, kak mam
And you will not agree with me
Because you don't know
And I don't know either
And it happens to me itself
I don't know, don't know
Why I have, why I have...

The patterns behind him began shining undiscribingly brightly onto the floor, making it appear there was a three-dimensional cube in which he was levitating. Suddenly, the lights turned grave, and an image of Robert singing the chorus shone brightly on the screen.

Rikošet, O
Rikošet, O
Ja rikošet mam...
Ricochet, Oh
Ricochet, Oh
I have a ricochet

The image sank into the same patterns again, and the second verse started, with Robert smiling at his fans with his pearl white teeth.

Kak ja je v klubie
I ja tanetne
I ja ne vem sam
I sam tak sedmo ja robi
Ja ne vem, ne vem
Kak mam, kak mam
When I am in the club
And i dance
And I don't know myself
And it happens to me itself
I don't know, don't know
Why I have, why I have...

The image reappeared in a different fashion, tinted a bright gold, slowly changing into a moreish red, then purple.

Rikošet, O
Rikošet, O
Ja rikošet mam...
Ricochet, Oh
Ricochet, Oh
I have a ricochet

Robert began dancing perfectly to the beat of the music, even while playing his guitar, performing his classic leaping dance. Before the fans knew, the third verse already began.

Kak ja z devtinami je
I ja ne uraje se
I ja ne vem sam
I sam tak sedmo ja robi
Ja ne vem, ne vem
Kak mam, kak mam
When I am with the girl
And they don't really like me anymore
And I don't know myself
And it happens to me itself
I don't know, don't know
Why I have, why I have...

The audience rose up, clapping and copying Robert's dance moves,

Rikošet, O
Rikošet, O
Rikošet!
Ricochet, Oh
Ricochet, Oh
Ricochet!

The song ended abruptly, and the fans began to cheer, so loud even the sound of Robert saying thank you was barely to be heard!

Lë Monda (The World) — Renato
performed in Kalosian to the tune of La Fée Clochette by Polo

Renato spends the entire performance on a stool in the middle of the stage, playing a guitar. During the chorus, the background screen shows beautiful scenery and other places on earth, while during the verse, the background illustrates what he sings about. The intensity of the pictures depend on the flow of the song.
Vulo di vedre lë monda
Di vjaǧë solo kon te
Vulo di vedre lë monda
Kon te, per tu sej men amurë

Ja soño

Renato gets up and says, "Thank you everyone! Thank you!" and gets off the stage.
I want to see the world
To travel only with you
I want to see the world
With you, since you’re my dear

I dream of
A good view
And some good food there
Only with you
I want to travel the world

To see the Northern Lights
Or to sing in Vampirum
I’ll love you in Britonisea
I won’t forget you in Titaniumland
And I’ll kiss you in Calusie
Because I know, you and me
We’ll create memories the world has never seen

I want to see the world
To travel only with you
I want to see the world
With you, since you’re my dear

I dream of
A good view
And some good food there
Only with you
I want to travel the world

But do you worry about the money?
I’m sure there’s more than enough
To buy cheap food
To sleep in simple rooms
I don’t care about luxury
If we can be together
Because you’re everything, my love, everything to me

I want to see the world
To travel only with you
I want to see the world
With you, since you’re my dear

I dream of
A good view
And some good food there
Only with you
I want to travel the world

I’ll never forget the moments
And we’ll never be bored
Because there’s me, you, and the world
Yes, this very big world
Because you know it’s beautiful
But I know you’re more beautiful than that
So do you want to travel the world with me?

I want to travel
The world, together

Ett Annat Paradis (A Different Paradise) - Monika Bergdahl
to the tune of Di Mia Proprieta, by Valentina Monetta

The stage is set up in a way similar to the video above. Everything is close together and lights only shine there, creating an impression of tight space. While Monika remains on the same spot for the entire performance, she does move a little, swaying from left to right, and using hand movements. Her microphone is on a mic stand meaning she doesn't hold it. The song begins.

Lalalalalala, lalalalalala

Ja, livet jag vill ha, det är
Men kan jag bara önska

Nånstans, jag vet det finns
För nu, så kan jag känner
En stämning jag ska minns
Men nu bara jag drömmer

Tänka om den blå hav
Och dessa vacker stränder
En drink, ska jag njut av
Det är ju livet att jag vill ha, ja

I ett annat paradis

Livet jag vill ha, det är

I ett annat paradis
I ett annat paradis

I ett annat paradis

As the music fades out, so does the lights, even though Monika doesn't move. After the song ends, all the lights go back on and Monika bows. The stage is then set up for the next entry.
While I see snow here
I feel that it’s
Not wrong to dream of a better place
Where I can relax

I know it exists somewhere
Because I can feel it now
An atmosphere that I remember
But now I’m only dreaming

Thinking of the blue sea
And these beautiful beaches
I shall enjoy a drink
In exotic lands seen on a brochure
But I can only wish

In a different paradise
The sun will shine like your eyes
Everything being like a beautiful song
Lalalalalala, lalalalalala

Yes, That is the life I want
But I can only wish

I know it exists somewhere
Because I can feel it now
An atmosphere that I remember
But now I’m only dreaming

Thinking of the blue sea
And these beautiful beaches
I shall enjoy a drink
That’s the life I want, yes

In a different paradise

That is the life I want

In a different paradise
In a different paradise

In a different paradise

FROMULYA
Duniaku (My World) by Guntur Batarasakti
Tune: Moj Svijet - Sergej Cetković (starts at 0:27 in the video)

After the disappointing nul points at the previous contest, TVRF decided to stick to techniques that had already worked for them. Prior to this, Fromulya's best placing (13th) was a song with folk-influences (specifically keroncong), so they decided to try that again.
The singer, Guntur Batarasakti, grew up in a village in a rather rural area, and left it for the first time a year ago to study. Still trying to get used to city life, he wrote the text this song, which he submitted to TVRF, and now it has brought him even further away from home, which he still visits during the holidays.

As the song starts, the background is dark/black. A spotlight is shone on a traditional flute (suling) player, who plays the opening notes, before the rest of the song comes. Afterwards, the lights shine on Guntur, wearing this (what the guy wears, without the white flower necklace) steps forward and starts to sing.
Subuh, matahari t’lah terbit
Langit gelap turut menjadi terang
Padi telah siap 'tuk dipanen
Dan dilain waktu aku bermain
Aku bahagia dalam kehangatan ini

The background then depicts sunrise in a rural Fromulyan setting. The sun is slowly rising, though most people don't notice it.
Ini duniaku
Hidup yang sederhana
Kampung kecil ini
Cukup untuk aku tinggali

Ini duniaku
Dan ini hidup yang sederhana
Kampung kecil ini
Cukup untuk bahagia
Dik’lilingi oleh
Teman dan kerabatku juga

He spreads his arms for a moment before the next part. By now, the sun in the background had already been positioned at noon.
Di tempat lain
Ku bakal merindukanmu
Di hidup lain
Ku takkan lupakan

The song ended. "Terima kasih, terima kasih semuanya!" he shouted, and then left the stage.

Dawn, the sun has risen
The dark sky becomes bright
The rice fields are ready for harvest
And in other times, I play
I'm happy in this warmth

This is my world
A simple life
This small village
Is enough for me to live

This is my world
And this is a simple life
This small village
Is enough to be happy
Surrounded by
My friends and colleagues as well

In another place
I would miss you
In another life
I won't forget

Thank you! Thank you everyone!

Jon Atman - Long Distance
Tune: I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For by U2

The stage was quiet and dark while the music started. A dim spotlight shone on the singer, Jon Atman. He was sitting at a desk writing a letter in his blue jeans and torn up blue shirt. There was a guitarist, drummer, and bassist in the background.
Atman started singing at the desk, while writing his (pretend) letter.

I have cried,
Many nights!
I have done,
Many crimes!

So I can meet with you,
So I can meet with you...

I have won,
I have called,
I have mailed,
Three nights ago!
Three nights ago!

Only to tell you that,

I have found what I need,
Love long distance.
I have found what I need,
Love long distance.

I have missed,
Love and it's,
Not the same but just one kiss,
And it all changes fast!
Amorous feelings for you...

I have found what I need,
Love long distance.
I have found what I need,
Love long distance.

I will bleed,
For your love, little sweetheart!
When life treats us,
Like animals!
Like animals!
And yes it will happen!

I won't be cruel,
And you,
Won't be mean!
Though we are different,
We'll beat this game!
We'll beat this game!

I have found what I need,
Love long distance.
I have found what I need,
Love long distance.

I have found what I need,
Love long distance.
I have found what I need,
Love long distance.

The audience applauded while Jon Atman left the stage without a word or glance. The other musicians waved to the crowd and followed him.

Dedicated to Slovenya.

Jazmine Sala - Rain Pours Down
Tune: Cher Lloyd - Human

The stage was dark as the song's melody began. Slowly, several lights turned on and illuminated the area where Jazmine Sala stood in the middle of the stage in a flowing silver dress. Behind her were several backup singers dressed similarly in silver dresses. As she began singing the first verse, the stage screens displayed a black and white raining scene.

Time is changing
Everything is different
All we knew is still stuck in the past

So we’re taking it slow no more fast lane
I was burnt by the fire of your flame
This could be the beginning
Of our new end

The stage lights flashed before turning several shades of red, gray, and white. Jazmine took the microphone off it's holder and walked to the left walkway with cameras following her. The scene of rain on the screens continued as she sung the chorus.

We’ll let the rain pour down
Wash our secrets away
I'll be immune to all the lies that you say

You’ll see, you’ll see I’ll be your weakness now
Nothing will be the same
When the rain pours down

Let rain come down
Come down
Wash us away

The lights switched to a pale gray and dimmed slightly as the rain on the screen slowed down. Jazmine looked solemnly out into the crowd as she sung with the quieter melody.

When the rain comes down
Come down
Everything will change

The lights flashed again and the largest screens transitioned into another rain scene. Jazmine walked up to the stage platform as the row of screens on both the left and right showed her moving. Once on the platform, it slowly rose from the stage just as she started singing the second verse.

Saying goodbye could be our only option
Our memories fade through the darkness beyond
Take a step at a time
Could we make it?
Take the lock off my heart
Would you take it?
This could be the beginning
Of our new end

The light flashed for the third time before erupting in a multitude of various colors that shone out into the audience. The background singers started waving their hands back and forth and the crowd did the same. Jazmine grinned at their enthusiasm and waved her own hand in the air.

We’ll let the rain pour down
Wash our secrets away
I'll be immune to all the lies that you say

You’ll see, you’ll see I’ll be your weakness now
Nothing will be the same
When the rain pours down

The largest screen transitioned to a final scene of rain while strobe lights circled around the stage rapidly. Jazmine bobbed her head to the beat of the music as the platform began to rise even higher into the air.

Could we start over and make it out the storm
Or will we drown in the lies that you've told
Only time will tell how the story goes

You’re going to regret when I walk out the door
Time is changing and I want more
This could be the beginning
Of our new end

The platform slowly descended into the ground. The strobe lights slowed slightly and several spotlights appeared on Jazmine and her background singers. She put everything she had into it as she finished the song, her voice carried serenely throughout the arena.

We’ll let the rain pour down
Wash our secrets away
I'll be immune to all the lies that you say

You’ll see, you’ll see I’ll be your weakness now
Nothing will be the same
When the rain pours down

The background lights dimmed further until only the spotlights were seen hovering over the singers. Jazmine wrapped an arm around herself and her face held a sad expression as she continued singing.

Let the rain come down
Come down
Wash us away

What will you do?
Ohhh
When the rain comes down

The spotlights on the backup singers turned to a bright red as the platform continued descending further down into the stage until Jazmine was barely seen.

It’s going to pour down
down
Wash us away

It’s going to pour down
Down
Wash us away

As Jazmine finished she was completely below the stage and the spotlights on the backup singers abruptly cut off, leaving the stage dark once again. The crowd cheered loudly as the song ended and the backup singers bowed. Jazmine then appeared from the side of the stage and took her place next to the other singers. She waved happily at the crowd and blew them a kiss. "Multumesc! Thank you!"

With one final bow Jazmine and her backup singers walked off the stage.
