The Council of The Multiverse

The Council of The Multiverse. A meeting place for the greatest, most innovative minds across all universes. A place of creativity, a place of experimentation, a place of learning. The Council supports those with ideas, and does it's best to formulate those ideas into fantastic roleplays.

There is much to be done, friend. Let us begin.

Hello all! Welcome to the CoM! This thread was created in the aftermath of a deceased RP, as a place for us to continue collaborating and creating new ideas. We encourage those with ideas to experiment, and try out their ideas on our wonderful ~~test subjects~~ members.

We also post RPs that we helped in creating, or RPs that have joined the CoM after conception. Overall, it's like a Traveler's Cafe, Ad Thread, testing grounds, and OOC rolled into one!

So what are you waiting for? Come on in, join the CoM, and help us help you to help make the P2TM a better place!

My own personal foray into the world of OPing: Martial Magic. We finished Episode I, but I didn't think ahead to Episode II.

I do have a supernatural rp in the works.
It'll be based on the longstanding Fued between Chaotic and destructive Demons and the Lawful yet corrupting Devils.

Okay, heres what I have so far:
Its mostly just in the concept stages, but there would be two sides, (Each one taken over by a Co-op), Demons, Chaotic beings with desires to destroy and annilate native to the Abyss and Devils, Tyrannical beings obsessed with corruption and gaining power native to hell. Both factions hate each other with great intensity and have been at war for millennia.

The players would start out at the bottom of the Hierarchy of either Devils or Demons, and each "team" would have to either work together or stab each other in the back to get to the top of the pecking order so they can destroy the real enemy. There would be skirmishes between the two sides in the material plane too.

Of course there would be NPC humans, angels, Archons, Fae, Undead, Great Old Ones and any other creatures we can think of.

It would be partly based of superficial elements of D&D lore.

Make this so I can play as a gay Formori who is a contract killer. Or a merc sylph. Or an oni who loves flowers.

Its only based partly on D&D lore...
Sadly, you would have to be a Devil or a Demon. (An Oni could come under either)
Though you could be any race before you were unceremoniously dragged to the Abyss or Hell. (Whether for your sins, for pissing of a powerful demon/devil/god or if you screwed up big time while casting a particularly tricky spell)

Hmm. I see where this is going (I think). So it will almost entirely be demons and devils fighting each other and themselves, and the numerous side species (but mostly each other and themselves).

Have you got the end in mind? This is something I myself have learned on a few occasions (on and offline), that you should have your ending planned as you begin. You don't have to tell us what it is, but you should know how the story will end.

And (this is just me) what if there were an inter-species group that hunted demons/devils, and they play the main antagonists? Something like the Knight Templars or Vampire Hunters (but for demons & devils, obviously). Provides something for the two main factions to come together over. A common enemy, if you will.

I think the hunters could have guns and some recent tech, while demons/devils have magics or curses. However, the guns aren't great (like maybe they're revolvers or rifles with small magazines) and both sides can have melee weapons and bows.
