Many of you in this cruel and dangerous world know of myself, the United Dominion and what types of power we both have held at points of our lives. Once a cornerstone of the super-state, the union of brothers, known as the Conglomerate. To some that name strikes fear in their heart. To me, that name means brothers. Or it did. Nation Name: the Eternal Empire of Aligeretha

Leader: Her Imperial Majesty Ephemera, Empress of All Vampires, Autocrat of the Empire, Supreme Commander of the Imperial Armed Forces, Holder of the Allegiance of the Werewolf Tribes, Friend to the Fae, Protector of the Variants, and Most Blessed of the Gods of the Blood Rites.

Type of Government: The Eternal Empire functions on all levels as an Absolute Monarchy, which has been controlled since the origins of the Empire by Her Imperial Majesty, Ephemera, the Empress of All Vampires. There is not set Constitution or founding document that guides the nation other than the will and words of the Empress herself. However a government structure was developed around the Will of Empress to ensure the proper execution of Her Will.

To execute the Imperial Will, the Empress created the Imperial Court, which contains within it the leaders of the various government agencies, departments, military commands, etc that make up the Imperial Apparatus (the official designation for the Imperial Government). All of these beings report and answer to the Empress directly and only, their various government roles determined by her whims and needs.

While the nation is an absolute rule in theory, there are several areas where the Empress has ceeded power, the main one is in relation to the various other species that dwell in the Empire. The Werewolf (or Lycans) have semi-autonomy in the form of their various tribal chiefs and clan leaders. The Elves and Fae species maintain their own de jure separate nation-state within the Empire known as the Realm of Marmalos. However these forms of independent action are quite limited in practice.

The State does maintain support for the largest Vampiric religion in the nation, known as the Blood Rites, the religion is considered to be a dying faith by most with actual adherence quite low among the Vampiric and Dhampiric populous. Due to this the Empress has begun to slowly pull funding from the various sects of the Blood Rites, but some is still being given to Temples which have historic importance to the Empire.

Number of Civil Wars within the Past Three Decades: None, though a single failed coup did occur 734 RV (or 2009-2010) but it didn't last more than an hour. All conspirators captured and executed for treason.

Military Activities: None

Strata of Command: The Empress is the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, though most military decisions are made by a council of various military advisers and generals. They do have to get HIM's approval though on all major activities and decisions.

Representative's history within your nation: Hans is a 1267 year old Royal Vampire from the Eternal Empire, though he was born in the Holy Roman Empire city of Magdeburg. He was turned by a a group relatively young vampires who later launched a failed attempt at seizing control of the cities supernatural community from it's overlord. Hans managed to survive the failed takeover when he discovered that he (like the others turned by the group) was nothing more than cannon fodder and fled to save himself. He eventually settled in the Republic of Amernost where he first met a seemingly human woman known then as Lady Gray. She was in fact the ancient vampire Ephemera to whom Hans swore his eternal loyalty in exchange for a place of power in the Empire that she was already plotting to build.

Now seven hundred years later Hans has been given the right to represent the Eternal Empire on the behalf of the Empress in this newborn Brotherhood.

Type of Government: Our nation was founded on a principle of capitalism and free trade. We have since moved to the center of the board on all topics. Not angering too many people at once, we have made a stable and tourist loving nation.

Since then we have had very little incidents of civil unrest, the only time when things were bad was during the water crisis of 72, but that was resolved when the horrific drought ended.
Military Activities: We are currently not involved in any wars. We have colonized several locations, namely 2 colonies on the continent of Rhodesia, and a section of Sunkistodia, which we at first were helping to deal with a deadly infection, but soon realized there was no ne left to continue the nation, and thus worked together with 3 other nations to divide it up into 4 zones. Sadly a deadly war was fought and only two of us were able to keep our colonies there, we conducted some double dealing that lead to our survival, but we are not proud of this. Other than that there have been no other major actions in the recent past.

Nation Name: The Holy Empire of Telros

Leader: God-Emperor of Telros Jacob Anki., Supreme Ruler of Telros and Prime Deity. Sarah Mitchell, Voice of the Supreme Ruler and effective ruling Hand of the Holy Empire of Telros, may she rule well in His name.

Type of Government: The government is a theocratic dictatorship. The people have agreed to worship and follow the wishes of their God-Emperor, who has decreed the following system. The God-Emperor himself is the ultimate voice in all matters, no matter how big or small. However, He has chosen to rarely use this power and left most affairs in the capable hands of Sarah Mitchell, who rules in his stead while he attends more mysterious matters. She takes care of the major crises and events that pop up concerning the Empire, with aid from the Council of Lords. The Council is made up of five men and women, each who rule a province within the Empire. They hold power and rule their territory much like a state but are answerable to the Voice and the God-Emperor. Underneath them are the state councils, which make up the province, and so on down the line to city, town, and village councils. Each council is chosen by the council above it. Village by town, town by city, city by state, until they reach provincial. The Lords are chosen by the Voice and the Voice is chosen by the God-Emperor.

Number of Civil Wars within the Past Three Decades: There have been no civil wars, as the people of Telros are firmly united behind the God-Emperor. Any who would seek to counter his divine will are purged for the good of all.

Military Activities: The Empire has not gone to war for sometime, and has not committed any military activities worth of notice as of recent years.

Strata of Command: The Voice rules with complete power but is able to be desposed temporarily by the Counci of Lords by a majority vote while the God-Emperor reviews their case. And on down the line it goes, only the God-Emperor handles the situation with the Voice. If any of the Lords are brought to suit by their province, the Voice resides over the trial and makes a decision, the province by the state and so on is handled by the court system. If the Voice should be killed, the God-Emperor retakes full command, unless he specifies for the Council of Lords to do it. If any of the Lords should die, the Voice takes over command and rule of their territories.

Military Focus: The military is focused on defending the home territory, waters, and air space, while projecting Telrosian power and allowing for the military to get involved overseas, be it concerning its affairs or those of its allies. It favors a very mobile response, a constant attack of mobility and hard hitting attacks, with the Imperial Army using its vehicles and mobile artillery to strike fast and secure targets, aiding by the swift Imperial Air Force providing powerful and swift support and the Navy providing the final piece of this triangle of might. Diplomacy is a first, as war is considered an ugly last resort and something that requires a mindset of total domination of the enemy short of breaking laws concerning rights and treatment of prisoners

Economic Situation: The Empire's economy is booming and doing well, after recovering from small setbacks in recent years. Trade with our alliance in Gholgoth has provided us with much wealth and we expect the Conglomerate to do the same.

Medical Issues, Record of Violence, Miscellaneous: Samantha Darrun is a wild and ferocious person, having been one of the fiercest commanders in the military that the Empire has ever seen. She fits in perfectly with the Empire's military doctrine of speed and power, almost retaining wolf-like features in her methods, personality, and actions. So when it came to be that in addition to joining the Conglomerate, the God-Emperor wished to join this Brotherhood of the Wolf, she was an avid proponent of it. Not only for its imagery and name, but for its founder, whom she had considerable respect for. In order to be equal to the being that the Count was known to be, she was called in for a special audience with the God-Emperor. When she returned, she was changed. She had been feral but one could almost feel the power she held and the ferocity of her spirit as if she was able to call upon it at all. In addition, her eyes had become similar to that of a feline.

She had been healthy in life and similar to the Voice and Eye of the Emperor, Sam has had no health issues since her meeting with He Who Protects. Her record of violence is vicious but confined mostly to the military, with only a couple of fights in bars dealing with drunken men who didn't take no for answer. She only put them in the hospital for two weeks each time, so the military let it go. She is immensely eager to meet the Dominion and the other signatories of the Brotherhood and wants to get involved in matters as soon as possible.

Leader: The High Lord Fionn O'Donaigh is the elected leader. The Two Religious leaders have absolute authority, but rarely use it.
Type of Government: Constitutional Theocracy. The government is filled with elected officials, the Head of State are the Divine Two - religous leaders who are chosen at birth and rule until death.

Number of Civil Wars within the Past Three Decades: There have been no civil wars since ancient times. There are no known threats to Daircoills stability or politics.
Military Activities: Currently have 8000 troops in Utoopya, with an estimated 25000-30000 more to go. Whilst we are officially allied with the Communist Front, we are not communist ourselves.

Intervened against Bhuzakhstan when they executed 1000 political prisoners. We withdrew only because of the sever humanitarian atrocities committed by those attempting to save the civilians, and due to the fact our forces had taken several key objectives and handed them over to the allies, our presence was no longer needed so we pulled our forces out.

Type of Government: It is a security provision company. The best way to compare it to a normal government would be to replace taxes with contracts. The main differences are that people in the Black Plains do not need to purchase protection as citizens must pay taxes in other nations. There are, of course, different levels of protection for different costs but we strive to protect every single one of our clients and proudly report progressively lower crime rates throughout the years.

Number of Civil Wars within the Past Three Decades: Just one. A communist regime was overthrown by the Black Plains Black Army lead by Joseph Mansor (then only twenty-three). It was twenty-eight years ago and we have not had one civil war since.
Military Activities: None currently. However, we have repulsed several invasions in the past.
Strata of Command: The executive makes general diplomatic decisions. Everything else is decided by the Syndicate of Investors (which includes those who purchased security contracts).
Military Focus: Mercenaries suit our needs as a police force as well as an army (ironically we divide the units into "Wolf Packs"). We are working on expanding our navy and airforce. We are considering hiring official army units from other countries as well or even beginning our own official army corps instead of hiring mercenaries. Our foreign advisors have said it may be a wise strategic move.

Type of Government: New Azura is a loose Confederation of Nine regions, referred to by their ancestral status as "tribes". Though Azuran Culture places a large degree of importance on the tradition of the native tribes, Azurans today are technologically advanced and driven by honor. However, the warrior culture of the Native Azurans still exists, lending a ferocity and macabre brutality to their actions on the battlefield. Beyond this, New Azura is a democratic, if conservative, society.

Military Activities: New Azura recently launched a punitive incursion into a territorial possession, Berchtesgarden, to avenge the death of an Azuran soldier there. Otherwise, no current military operations are underway.
Strata of Command: The country is led both politically and militarily by a High Chief, who serves as the general leader of the Nine Tribes (the Cullowhee, Nantahala, Seneca, Watauga, Currahee, Etowah, Cailene, Pisgah, and Checotah Tribes). Serving under the High Chief is the Consul General, the primary military strategist of the Azuran Military, who coordinates the nine Tribal Military Regions that correspond with the Nine Tribes. Two assistant officers, the Pro Consul and the War Consul serve under the Consul General, and would replace him in the event of his death, resignation, or removal from the post.
Military Focus: The primary focus of the Azuran Confederation is on its Army and Special Forces. Over 30% of the national budget (owing to the limited responsibilities of a weak Central Government) are devoted to defense spending.

Nation Name: The Grand Dutchy of Bokaya

Leader: His August Majesty Archduke Froley VanSaar IX

Type of Government: An absolute monarchy, the Archduke rules without question, aided by an advisory council. However, the people enjoy great social and economic freedom thanks to many progressive advances over the years. In fact, this is enshrined in the constitution as the justification of the Duke's absolute rule: the Duke grants the people freedom, and gaurentees it against foreign aggression by maintaining an army. In exchange for this protection and privilage, the people agree to accept his rule without question, and continue to do so unless the Duke violates the freedoms granted, in which case it is the sovereign right of the people to depose him. In this case, a ruling body known as the Senate will be formed by the people, and the Commons Militia called to arms.

Number of Civil Wars within the Past Three Decades: None.

Military Activities: Currently suppressing an anarcho-terrorist uprising in Wutend Doman on behalf of The Steel Pact. Military elements currently deployed in SPHQ as a safeguard against Conglomerate agression in the area.

Strata of Command: There are three armed forces. The elite Republican Guard, who are considered superior to the New Model Army, who are considered superior to the Commons Militia. The CM is only formed in an emergency. The 'Guard and the NMA are under direct command of the Duke, as is the CM except when it is formed in response to constitutional violation at the behest of the Sovereign, in which case it is responsible to Senate. The chain of command is quite simple, and would be instantly familiar to any foreigner as it is based on those of many foreign armies. The Duke is at the top, however.

Military Focus: The educational establisments in Bokaya are run by the Militia, hence are free of political bias. As a result, every child is given basic military training as well as schooling. When they graduate Senior High, they are fully qualified soldiers. In college, as well as their chosen course they continue their training, this time picking specialities such as infantry sergeant, tank commander, chef or engineer. Universities double as officer training academies.
The Republican Guard is the elite fighting force, composed entirely of volunteers. It is 100'000 men in size. The New Model Army are conscripted from all families with more than one male child, the eldest being drafted for a five-year term of service. It is much bigger than the 'Guard, but also less effective. The National Militia is called up in times of invasion, national emergency or constitutional violation, and as a result of the training anyone can be drafted.

Economic Situation: Bokaya's economy is catagorized by the WA as "Good". We are mainly an agricultural nation, and the rural workers benefitted greatly from the abolition of the feudal system and subsequent industrialization of the farms, 10 years ago. This resulted in a massive boom, and an unprescedented period of growth that has continuted to this day.

Currency Rate, per International Dollar: Ten Farthings equal One Florin. Ten Florins equal One Ducat. Currently, 2.8512 Ducat = 1 Universal Standard Dollar, or 1.5 NationStates Dollars.

Representative's history within your nation: Tagget is the Duke's most trusted advisor, and the closest thing to a Prime Minister Bokaya has. In the Duke's absence, he acts as an envoy abroad, and for many years has served as the Bokayan emmisary to the Steel Pact.

Additional Notes about your nation: The current Duke is a fifteen year old child prodigy and genius, who masterminded the shift away from feudalism and general modernization programme. Bokaya was a founding nation of The Steel Pact, a young, dynamic, capitalist alliance that stands for the protection of the soereignty of small nations in the face of incomparably mighty hyperpowers. It was in fulfilling our duties that we stood up for Suffroria, leading to the eventual collapse of the Quendisphere.
Now, to outline in brief our ancient history.
Far off in ancient times there was no "Bokaya", only a bleak, deserted island of incredible vastness, populated by the nomadic indigneous people. Then, one day, a fleet of crude rafts came across the horizon, landing on the fertile lands to the north. With the rafts came the raft-builders, nordic and proud. They were the "sea-people", whose coming was prophecized by the natives since time immemorial. All Bokayans nowadays are descended from those early migrants. Eventually thier small community grew into a Republic and, as is the way with these things, the Republic became an Empire. The Empire was named after its founder, the Great General; Cornelius Boke. After a time, the empire fell and became the Grand Dutchy. More information can be provided.
Untill the reign of the current Duke, Bokaya was a hopelessly backward nation, operating a feudal system with little or no industry. You only need look to see the results of modernization, and even then you don't need to look too hard.
We are loyal to those who deserve it, just to those who require judgement, kind to the weak, harsh to the wicked. We are a blessing to our brothers and a curse to our enemies. We will defend with our lives those whom we deem worthy of our love and respect.

We seek to join this alliance to further our international influence, and hopefully ease tensions between Bokaya and New Azura.
