MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
EMBASSY AND CONSULATE PROGRAM
I. OVERVIEW
The Republican State of Tolmakia is a small peaceful nation located in the Kingdom of Great Britain. The nation prioritizes both welfare and economy. As a republic, its goals include reaching out and doing the best for its people and occupants (including foreign visitors, diplomats, immigrants and tourists). It nurtures its flourishing economy that profits mostly from commercial goods, information and aviation technology, and raw resources. Currently, it has a population of ~30,000,000 hospitable people, and a small but well-trained capable military force. As a non-interventionist nation, the republic's military serves strictly in the name of self-defense.
The fairly small nation is remarkable for its interests in aviation technology as well as its sports stadiums and blimps. The state is also known for its British heritage. It also has a remarkable geography, with a landscape of lush green forests and mountains in the north contrasted by virtual desert-like plains and barren lands in the middle-south. More information can be found here.
II. OUR AIM
The Republic of Tolmakia is now opening up its doors to the world. As part of its FRIEND policy (Foreign Relations Improvement Endeavor, National Decree), it has maintained one primary mission regarding foreign/international affairs: to establish and maintain good and healthy ties with every nation of any ideology, race, type and even stance. The republic is also open to invitations for the creation of new ties.
The purpose for this policy is mainly to pave a way of formal communication between the republic and other nations, and create a stable and harmonious existence with others. This way, issues or possible agreements can be conducted with much more ease. In addition to this, Tolmakia is always looking for economic or diplomatic partners, possible friends and economic allies.
Additional aims of this diplomatic program are to let other nations assist their people who either plan to or are currently residing in the Republic of Tolmakia, as well as to improve further diplomatic relationships and ties with other nations who already have informal connections with the republic. People of any political orientation, ideology and race are welcomed, including activists (although extremists may not be tolerated). Through these embassies and consulates, we hope to create relations in the name of peace and harmony.
In response to many issues regarding authorization, this embassy and consulate program was established under the approval of the 8th Prime Minister of the republic, Prime Minister Madd Daneili, and Foreign Minister Agnes Mcanborough of the Tolmakian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
