The Zewajis Pact

The Zewajis Pact is a multi-nation military, political and economic alliance which offers the protection of nations who join it. The Pact itself is meant to support smaller nations who cannot defend themselves on their own against larger and aggressive nations. The Pact also insures the economic growth, political stability and military traditions increase of participating nations. The Pact, however, is not entirely militaristic as it focuses more on the economy in order to allow the smaller nations who join it an amazing economic growth. The Pact will act as an agreement between member nations and will have inter-pact political meetings and such to call upon resolutions. Any member nation in need will receive funds and support from other member nations, and the Pact will also be called to agree on certain conflicts member states are drawn into by either attacking a non-member state or being attacked. Negotiations with other alliances are also allowed through dignitaries from council nations.

Aims of The Zewajis Pact

- To encourage smaller nations to join together for economic, political and military support in face of other aggressive and expansionist nations.
- To counter the recent growth of the OEN, UL and other various political and aggressive groups.
- To create a strong diplomatic connection between member nations.
- To allow free and safe travel between member nations.
- To strengthen the economic progress of each member nation and achieve free trade.

Candidate Admission

- Candidate must not be under the control of a dictator/single political party.
- Candidate must have some form of democracy (Constitutional Monarchy, Republic, Federation, etc.)
- Candidate must have a commitment of some kind to respect the basic freedoms of people and democracy.
- Candidate must be a modern-day, realist (human) and modern technology nation.

Rules

1. Inter-alliance wars are allowed only if a valid Cassus Beli (Reason for War) is presented against the defending nation within the Zewajis Pact by the attacking nation can the conflict be waged. Otherwise, all other members of the Pact must protect the defending nation.
2. The Zewajis Pact is subject to protecting nations attacked by non-member nations. However, if a nation belonging to the Pact attacks a non-member nation, the member nation must properly call for aid.
3. You may be allowed to be apart of the Zewajis Pact and other alliances, however, if hostilities commence with one of the outside parties, you must pick a side and stick with it.
4. The Zewajis Pact may not be used as a threat against other nations.
5. Member nations have a say in debates/summits/resolutions, yet, they may not finalize on the subject.
6. One does not simply become a Minister of X right away. Minister Elections will happen, and candidacy will be open to those who wish to become a Minister. However, after 3 (IRL) days, if no opposition is present, the only candidate will become Minister.
7. Going off on Rule 6, outsider votes will not be counted. Votes will be counted in the OOC thread.

Violation of any rules may lead to fines, suspension and/or expulsion from the Zewajis Pact.

Yes. The reason (according to the OEN representative Jazakstan) is because the UL wants to spread socialism to other countries. The reason why TP wants to counter that is because not all nations want socialism and not all the time will UL spread socialism peacefully through influence. It's the same as why counter the OEN? Because it is a threat towards a nation's political alignment and thus a political civil war may ensure where the more powerful UL/OEN/Any political alliance would get the upper hand.

Oh, I just wouldn't have said it was trying to spread socialism, peacefully or otherwise. My nation is not a socialist by any stretch yet they were fine with me. The UL/OEN war was about other stuff (its complicated).

I do have one argument against that; and that you are taking that through Jazakstan. In which is the enemy. Although, I will not say anything to counteract anything but that(as the same reason as above), but Jazakstan could be telling you Bias.
