The Pacific Economic Defense Coalition is meant to have nations realize we are similar at heart, diet and culture and stand up for each other as a family would. Any nation with any other Ideology is free to apply as well.
- This Alliance is meant to encourage trade and Provide defense aid to fellow Asian and Pacific based Nation.

Let me repeat that such accusations of the Philippines trying to establish a hegemony all for itself is baseless. The bayan is currently content of its position in this world. We want no more wars.

We had long been disillusioned of our capabilities to become a global power by means of force.

Long gone are the days of empires and spheres of influences, they are a 20th century thing, not today, in this new era.
