Personally, I like the US as an area of magic. Melting pot and such. Interesting things abound that way.

American Gods is a fantastic example.

The United States is not a place of magic. People bring magic here; that is a bad idea. The point of American Gods, in other words.

You know, I don't think I've ever seen an RP set in Canada. Unless you go to Quebec it's similar enough to America that potential American players wouldn't feel so culturally alienated, yet it's still not the same. Plus in the bigger cities you could meet people from all over the world so someone could have a character be literally whatever nationality they want.

Wondering; how about an RP based on management of a modern-day small scale government? Buy garbage trucks, raise policemen's wages, make statement about social media rumours, close school, repair railway, etc.
Not sure what would be played as yet, but it would be something along the lines of either a department or a province.

Ideas?
I've been looking at both managing a small island that's a province in a larger country, or managing a department on one of those islands (e.g. water)

I imagine Duke doesn't, given that the only people he could probably hang around with anymore are fellow neo-Nazis. Everyone else is probably avoids him because he's a white supremacist, or actively avoids him to avoid the appearance of being acquainted with him.

Hell, he probably gets sympathy shit from all his brainwashed followers on Stormfront.

I was in a RP about Canada being invaded by a far-right US I think.

Also, Stormtrooper RP is pretty much ready according to Brusia.

I've found creating a very rough tectonic map is good for overlaying features like volcanoes, mountains, rock types, etc. but to be honest, I think I'll just leave these islands at a rough Palau-Hawaii-Nauru-etc. kind of climate. They were meant to be volcanic, and territory A is a territory because it's a volcano and it's erupting.

BTW, numbers are provinces, letters are territories.
