Prologue

The world as you know it is over; the year is 2015 and everything has changed. Great empires have arisen, while others fell to the tragedies that encompassed. Global powers succumbed to the pressure that was put on them by years of war and destruction. Through all of that civilization still continues, new powers have taken the places of their predecessors, new empires are gaining land across the world. Will your nation survive or will it fail like the ones before it? Will it be a prosperous superpower or a measly little state that no one has heard of? You make all the decisions, and you decide the fate of The New World.

It was a tranquil evening in Alaska, Juneau, President Wu Rong was looking out the window and watched the beautiful bay area, but after 5 minutes later with the secretary of trade named Alfred Alojzy came in door to greet the president.

"Hello Mr President how are you doing?
Very fine I'm just finishing up some paperwork with some classified documents I got from SIA. So what the problem?

I'm saying we should increase our trade in the middle east and some parts in Asia. If we increase our trade in let parts in they world our economy will increase heavily.

Will what do you impose?

Mr President perhaps the ASA could hold a meeting with the world leaders in Juneau.

Excellent brilliant idea Alfred, I think I will do a press conference with the world leaders.

As the Secretary of trade left the president continue to look at the window he begin to think about all the countries of the world and there power to change Earth with good things or bad, he left the office and headed to bed with 7 Secret Service men Guarding from every angle.

The 21st century Caliphate, one that made the conscience decision to not use adopt that title in favor of remaining a movement identified with the interests of the people, was vibrant in it's political, social, and economic life. The seat of power in Cairo was central mainly toward the Council of Executives, by far the most powerful legislative branch of the three, as the other two branches were located in other areas of the Federation, namely in Tunis and Riyadh. All three cities have a small section dedicated toward a a sole Direct Federal State, despite being separated by hundreds of miles. No matter, Cairo was generally the "main" capital, and showed the high-life of the Arab Federation.

Riding in a luxury black SUV, the Governor of the Federal State of Egypt was scrolling through his own personal phone, reviewing some meeting notes and seeing his schedule for the rest of the day. Seated next to him was an accountant and manager, reviewing a manila folder of financial accounts and the like for the Governor's domestic economic funds. There was not a sense of animosity, just two men caught up in two different lifestyles. "Ya pasha!" The Governor said, using slang for some horrible reason, which generally meant "Hey you/mate!". The Governor showed his manager the phone's screen, dazzling with blinking lights, flashes, and confetti. "High score!" He said with a laugh, before starting a new game of whatever he was now on top of. The manager give him a dry congratulations, letting the manchild to his own devices. Soon however, they arrived at their destination: The Heliopolis Palace, residence of the President of the Arab Federation.

The Governor and his manager breezed past security and were escorted into the palace, all the way to the room of the big man himself, Kareem Ahmad-Atallah. His door was open, the room very airy and displayed. Glass windows allowed sunlight in, basking the entire room in a bath of light. It was not hot, though, the central air was some how able to keep the temperature at a comfortable degree. The President looked up briefly from a small stash of letters, before returning to it and speaking. "Ah yes, Imram Nagi, please come in. Keep the door open." The Governor did so, taking a seat situated more towards the side of the President.

The Governor quickly spoke, "The openness of your office makes me uneasy, excellency."

"Why is that?" He responded, still doing some paper work, turning to a mobile phone for calculations and messaging.

"It seems to be a good place to be assassinated. Especially when facing the skyline from behind."

"If the people believe me to be unfit to rule, then let them remove me."

"All it takes is the displeasure of one." The Governor said flatly. He looked closer at the glass, and began to notice it's uniform, extreme thickness. "Besides, isn't this bulletproof?" The President seemed to ignore the inquiry.

"That's beyond the point. I've called you here to head an investigative committee." The President said, turning his full attention to the Governor. The President had the power to create legislative committees that transcended the Councils, but the committees were mainly for research and coordinating policies and directing them. Though rare, the President's ability to form committees was actually his main power, as the Chancellor was the technical head of government. It acted as a form of balance on the Chancellor, keeping him in check by the President.

"Oh? What kind?" The governor asked, feeling a bit smug and important, knowing that he would probably get something cool and awesome like the Committee for the Research and Evaluation of Select Politically Unstable Regions, or one of the military or intelligence divisions. So many possibilities, he was practically foaming at the mouth.

"The Committee for the Propagation of Good Will and Understanding Between Friendly Nations," The President said with a dry tone, passing the paper to the Governor. "A role that will be accompanied by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs." The Governor looked at the paper, a bit puzzled.

"Good Will and Understanding Between Friendly Nations..." He repeated. "So...an ambassador? You want me to head a committee full of ambassadors?"

The President smiled, the Lord had delivered him into his hands. "In a sense, but I intend to re-invent the role of an ambassador. Your committee will be in charge of gauging how the roles of international ambassadors effect policy and cooperation between nations, as well as between international organizations. Not only that, but will be directly involved in determining the proper course of action for the Federation's foreign policy based on realistic and pragmatic ideals. I have chosen you based on both your track record, and insistence on secular beliefs." The President began to eye the Governor, knowing that he had to ensure he took the position. "You will be assembling conferences, attending ones abroad, and organizing for our members to do the same. The world is globalized and connected, and we need to know how to use it to our advantage. Let others stay in the wood work while we shake hands on matters that don't just revolve around oil deals. You must understand the importance I put on this committee. This will change geopolitical standings globally. You will be in a pioneering position."

"I will accept." The governor said abruptly, seemingly cutting off the President from submitting another argument to convince him. "Come now, Atallah, all you had to do was ask. I did not need you to sell me the position." The Governor said with a hardy chuckle, with the President smiling and laughing quietly as well. "I already have some members in mind, and this list seems appropriate for the committee. You take your job seriously, haha!"

"As I should. As we all should." The President said with a small laugh, and a undertone of seriousness. "Thank you for your acceptance, I will announce it's creation tomorrow in front of the Council of Executives."

Cheep, cheep, cheep. The songbirds, oh so many this season, were all chirping away at each other this somewhat chilly morning, as the sun began to rise above the mountains, a beautiful sight to behold for those who are awake early enough to see it. And the leader of Saamping, Wong Ming Gaa, was certainly awake that morning, standing underneath a slim pagoda on the apex of a hill, and staring out at the magnificent scenery with much satisfaction. Cheep, cheep, cheep. The Leader peered upwards at the small birds sitting on a wooden rod on the underside of the pagoda roof, asking himself what these animals were trying so hard to tell him. But as they say in this country, a bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song. And so the Leader smiled and moved his fingers behind his ear, trying to focus on the birds' melodic notes at that hour.

Cheep, cheep, thump. The sound of boots repeatedly making contact with the ground suddenly interrupted the birds' calls, causing them to disperse. As the sounds of steps grew steadily louder, Wong Ming Gaa turned his head to see a messenger, running towards his direction in an urgent manner. When the well-dressed messenger, a young government official of about 22 years, approached the Leader, he bowed his head slightly and lifted his two hands together above his head, greeting with his usual deference, "Long live your excellency, long live Saamping."

"Rise," Ming Gaa ordered the novice, raising his right hand upward from a lower position. After seeing the young man put his hands by his sides and his head raised, Ming Gaa inquired, "What brings you here with such urgency?" The messenger spoke seriously, "It is time to convene a meeting between you and the ministers. Please go to the main conference room as soon as possible." And so the minister bowed and walked away, without further uttering another word.

President Primo sat at his desk, he had a long day ahead of him; filled with meeting, press conferences, and photo shoots. He was going over the final details of his first meeting, then he looked at his watch. It was nearly time for him to leave so he began gathering his things. There was a knock at the door, and he said "Come in."

The Speaker of the Senate, June Iparis, entered the office. "I'm sorry Mr. President, were you leaving?"

"Its ok June I have time, what is it?" he said. The Speaker was the second-in-command which meant that she was his closest advisor, and also his liaison to the Senate.

"Well I need to talk to you about our foreign policy, right now it is nothing but keep,the West at bay. We need to expand our relations past the ASA, there are many countries in the world that we have yet to make contact with outside of the UN, who hasn't had a meeting in 20 years. I am proposing that we invite some World Leaders here for a dialogue on International Cooperation."

The President, who had been standing, took a seat at his desk. He had been focused on domestic affairs since he was elected five years ago. Of course he had thought of foreign affairs but they had never been of much importance. "Your right June, we need to expand our relations and our influence throughout the world. Who do you propose that we invite?"

Speaker Iparis was pleased that the President had embraced her proposition so happily. "Well, i believe that Venice, Arab Federation, and Byzantine Republic are all potential allies. We already have relations with Russia and China, but we should contact them also in order to affirm that these relations maintain stable."

"I'll get right on it June, is that all?"

"Yes sir it is," she said as she was leaving, then she turned around, "don't you have a meeting to get to."

The President quickly got up and gathered his thing then rushed out of his office, flanked by 4 Presidential Guards. His day was already hectic and he hadn't even started with the scheduled events yet, this was going to be a long year.

President Ivan was sitting at his desk, tapping his fingers on the table almost as like he was waiting for something spectacular, the winter storm rocked the sound behind him, all was heard was the snow rushing to the ground.

"Mr.President. Mr. President?" said a eerie voice from the distance. "Come in" he replied. The door creaked open, it was assistant Jennie, she pulled a letter out of her pocket and slid it across the table.

"It's a letter from the Republic of America" she said in a pleased voice.

He grabbed the paper can grabbed his reading glasses by the edge of his desk. He opened the letter and looked suspiciously at the letter.

Leader of Saamping, Wong Ming Gaa, sat at his desk in the central office, scribbling furiously on a white notepad with his slick ballpoint pen. A few days ago, he had finished his frustrating meeting with fellow ministers, when the messenger had contacted him during his early morning breaks to notify about an urgent matter. To his dismay, Ming Gaa's previous suspicions became reality at the awkward meeting as a police report led to the arrest of most of his ministers who had been suspected of engaging in large-scale corrupt activities involving the expropriation of two million liang from government funds into offshore bank accounts. Of course, such graft did not occur for long without investigation, as a few officials who never managed to benefit from such an ordeal filed complaints to Wong Ming Gaa himself in hopes of replacing their opponents in high-ranking positions, or as Ming Gaa thought. And so the Leader promptly fired nearly two-thirds of his cabinet in rapid succession. Not only did he replace them with new supporters, Ming Gaa began to work on new legislation to reorganize the administration in order to fit his governing needs and desires.

Ming Gaa reached over to drop the document into the stack of papers in the lady's arms before replying, "I need you to implement this directive secretly. Be sure the others don't know about it." And so the lady nodded and promptly exited the room, all in less than a minute.

The Quadrant One 1st Patrol was pacing along the border watching for anyone who might be trying to gain illegal entry into the Republic. Every since a large group of Union citizens had snook into Iowa each border state had had to set up patrols to keep them out. This patrol was no different than any other day, until five black canisters flew to the Patrollers feet, and opened swallowing the area in smoke.

The Patrollers couldn't see but they knew what was coming next, so they all pulled out the MX8 Rifles and aimed at where the canisters had come from. A few seconds later two sets of headlights approached the border, and after telling them to stop the patrollers opened fire. They knew they were hitting their targets because the screams pierced the air. The vehicles were getting closer but the smoke was clearing up.

The vehicles were military jeeps with six men occupying each one, their tires were shot out and they were quickly surrounded. 4 of them had been killed, but the other 8 had just been injured. The Patrollers called for backup who came and escorted all of the criminals back to Kansas City.

It was Captain Billows of the Republic Army, the commander of the Indiana Guard. "Mr. President we have received word that there was an ambush in Missouri Border Quadrant One. Two military jeeps ambushed our men, and 4 of the assailants were killed the other 8 were transported to Kansas City. They suspect that there will be more coming soon."

"How long again was this?"

"An hour ago sir," she said.

Why did it take an hour, was all that the President could think at the moment. "Double up on all of the patrols for the next two weeks, just for precautions. I want those prisoners transported here immediately, and put in the Tudor Maximum Security Wing. Can you handle that?"

The Captain nodded then turned and left the office. President Primo had been contemplating numerous plans for border control but he knew they would never pass in the Senate, with todays incident he had reasons for his new plans. He called out to his secretary, "Marsha, call Speaker Iparis and the rest of the Senate Defense Committee in; and get Jethro Masterson in the phone immediately."

Times were tough for the Great Divide, that was a pretty well known fact amongst the common man. It had always been tough for the Union, ever since its inception as the Texan Republic fighting it's Mexican neighbors. Sharing such a massive land border with four different nations on all sides, one being outright hostile, as well as a significant maritime border was never easy. National Defense was always, and remained a priority amongst the Union government. A strong sense of militarism was prominent, which gave birth to the super majority of the reactionary Freedom Party. The job description of the Chairman of the Federal Assembly was so extensive that only the craziest, most ambitious senators pursued the job. Masterson was no exception. Standing at 6'7", 250lbs, the former national heavy-weight boxing champion was just as mentally equipped as he was physically. He had led the Great Divide through numerous national emergencies, particularly with their southern neighbor in Mexico, and it seemed as though he was to be tested yet again as an aid rushed into his personal chamber.

"Chairman, Mr. Chairman! President Primo is on your private line from Indianapolis. It's urgent, a matter of national security." the aid quickly handed him the phone. Masterson already had an idea of what to expect.

"Chairman Jethro H. Masterson, of the American Central Union. President Primo, I understand you have something urgent at hand?" he said with a quiet sigh as he prepared for any angry remarks to come..

first order of discussion i motion the council to authorize the deployment of an iron dome missile system on our border from north to south this will protect our cities and generally everything on our side of the border from any and all missile attacks not it is not perfect it has a succes rate of 90% this is however not effective against missiles from orbit but short distance missiles are fully within it's paramaters.
i suggest the council to move up more divisions to the border considering the threats we heard from king Pedro. (about 10 more divisions on border to brazil and 2 tank divisions)

They have become known as the two big "threaters" of europe, knowing the many wars that ravished the territories, the Byzantine empire being remebered for its great Orthodox roots takes footholds in europe. Mainly in the Balkans of Europe, while venice now is in control of all italy. The many empire have one thing that make them all great, they have followers of their leader. Their people are the greatest thing about their countries, while they may look at the federation and say "Oh they are nothing but a bunch of latin american tribes, or barbarians." Let our names be heard in the world economy! Let us sail the oceans, make our supplies world wide! Many people would pay to have certain materials we have! Now lets go! To the thresholds of europe, and America! Let us begin to sell our goods in the world, if the Oligarthy below us the Hispania Empire would trade with us. Let us do anything we possibly can!"

Koshiro was your stereotypical apathetic high school student. He sat at the back of the class and daydreamed while staring out the second-floor window of the classroom. However, while the stereotype might hold water in other countries, he was the rare exception in education obsessed Japan. Occasionally, he picked up tidbits of information during lectures so he wouldn't completely fail the exams. Today, he was enduring national politics.

The teacher rested his voice for a moment, then posed a question to the class. "Since we're about to begin examining the Supreme Council, does anyone know how many members it contains?" Half the class raised their hands, and the first choice correctly answered 12. "Indeed, now can anyone here name the members?" Less then half the class this time, but it took a few answers to get all 12 names, and they were:

"Excellent, well it is good you all know who the members of the Supreme Council are, because they have a significant impact on your lives. They comprise of some of the best scientists the Empire can offer and they are tasked with ensuring society is running efficiently. The Supreme Council is, effectively, the highest power in the Empire. They have final say on all legislation proposed by the Diet, and can initiate legislation themselves without the approval of the Diet. The only institution capable of challenging the Supreme Council is the High Court. The High Court can overrule the Supreme Council when it comes to constitutional interpretation. This has not happened, because the constitution grants the Supreme Council great leeway to operate as it sees fit. The only foreseeable situation in which the High Court would intervene is if the Supreme Council were to commit treason."

"The National Diet is the other important institution of the Empire. It comprises of 400 members who are elected from all over the Empire. The seats are divided by region, with Japan retaining 175 seats, Indonesia with 175 seats and Philippines with 100 seats. The Diet can propose and implement legislation, with approval of the Supreme Council, and is generally allowed to operate independently from the Supreme Council. As a result, the Diet concerns itself mostly with internal affairs, such as social issues and morality. It also addressed grievances that do not concern the whole of the Empire. The Diet holds elections every four years."

"Now, can anyone tell me the four largest parties in the Diet?" The students once again raised their hands with enthusiasm, with the exception of apathetic Koshiro, of course. "Correct. Technocracy United, New Technocracy, Alliance Party, and Indonesia Party. First off, Technocracy United is the largest party, holding 47% of the seats in the Diet. It is dedicated to bridging regional gaps through promotion of technocracy. It is undoubtably the most powerful party in the Diet. New Technocracy is the radical technocratic party. They espouse technological advancement without any regard to ethics, and most notably propose all members of the Diet also be scientists. It is worth noting all their members are scientists. They hold 22% of the seats in the Diet. Alliance Party is dedicated to promoting regional hegemony, but takes a fairly conservative view when it comes to social issues. They hold 19% of the seats in the Diet. Finally, Indonesia Party is a regional party of Indonesia that promotes more representation for Indonesia within the Empire. They have been accused of being treasonous due to alleged actions taken to destabilize the Empire. They hold 6% of seats in the Diet. The remaining 6% consist of independents and minor parties."

The bell rang. "Back here after lunch".

Koshiro went down to the cafeteria to fetch some lunch. He didn't make it fast enough to avoid the line and was forced to wait. After several minutes he made it to the front and ordered from the automated system. With lunch in hand, he sat down and contemplated the next half of the lecture, which was to focus on the national military.

Back in class, as soon as the clock struck 1300 the teacher resumed the lecture.

"An integral part of the operation of the Empire is the military. It provides defence, not only for the Japanese mainland, but also to the regions of Indonesia and Philippines. As a result, the military is largely concerned with naval capability." The teacher then summoned up a chart on the screen.

After the precarious breakdown of the military forces, the teacher began to elaborate. "So, we can see that the Empire has many powerful military assets at its disposal, but why? I guarantee you no small portion of our taxes go toward funding this military juggernaut." One student ventured a guess. "Is it because of China?" The teacher didn't skip a beat. "It's much more than that. Yes, China is our regional competitor, and we do need to defend ourselves against their comparable military might, but it is also because it allows us to project influence. The taxes spent on the military give back much more than we spend on them. Yes, they are intimidating, but the real power is how they allow us to promise other states aid in exchange for favourable trade deals. Quite simply, economic imperialism. Yes, the regions of Indonesia and Philippines are well-endowed, but we must look elsewhere for resources first. Those two regions should be viewed as our emergency reserves. So, to this end, the military allows us to pledge protection to other states in exchange for resource deals. There are plenty of states that will do so just for the proxy threat of our military influence."

"What do you think Koshiro?" That was a surprise. Koshiro simply made an observation "We could easily be drawn into another World War..." The teacher frowned. "That is, of course, a risk, but is it not worth it for what we have now? We have reached the pinnacle of technological development, and foreign resources fuel that development. We can not revert to the stone ages in exchange for peace."

The lecture went on for an hour longer. Koshiro stopped paying attention at all.

President Wu Wong had just come in the door, after his long slumber, he was working on some paperwork about the bailout reforms with the corporations. He was thinking about most nations around the world, he knew that the other 2 American countries are friendly and slightly wouldn't have a problem, next he thought about the two South American regional powers that might grow in imperialism states, he would have to put the navy on medium alert just in case things start to get bad.

In the Middle East and Africa regions, he didn't really care about those 2 regions only the only thing he cares about was trading with nations.

"Hmm, maybe I should do a press conference with some Europeans countries about trade and other problems of the world."

Ten minutes afterwards, President Wu was playing with pens, it would such a slow day at the capital, he needed something to really give him the edge."It's so boring in the capital today, maybe I should visit the family in Nevada, nahhh mom would bother me about being single and not marrying any women even though I'm a playboy".

As he recalled to himself, two Secret Servicemen arrived to the president. "Mr President, the Secretary of Foreign Affairs wants to see you, is it all right? One Sevicemen said." Sure, let him in. Said the President

The two men let Foreign Affair person in, and after that the two men for both men discuss the matter with the of business.

"Hello Keith it's been a long time since we ran across". Said the president,
"Well, I've gotten a message from the Japanese Empire I think you should get a look at it". As the President read the message he gotten a smirk on his face."Well, I never thought I'll witness the damn day that the Empire of Japan actually wants more than trading with us, they want diplomatic ties with us".
Said the President, "Well, it's very serious though, but I don't see why not it's been more than 45 years since Japan has done diplomatic ties with us since World War Two, but it's the past". Said the Foreign Affairs

"Right the past is the past, I believe we should look forward into the future with Japan, and maybe expand our influence into Asia, listen Keith I need right away to send a letter to Tokyo ". Said the excited President.

"Thank you for your time". Said the Foreign Affairs.

As he left, he got back to headquarters, he began to type a message.

Premier Rajesh sat at his desk, he had control of India, Nepal, Tibet and Southern Pakistan, he had a large army and a happy population. However there were to problems, one was that their were not many communist countries left and the second was Pakistan. Pakistan had once invaded India but they were pushed back and now India ruled part of it. However his spies told him that the Pakistani leader wanted the south back and if he attacked India it would be catastrophic because had nuclear weapons. Rajesh decided to ask Vietnam to ally with him.

President Mannenberg was at his desk in the Presidential Palace. In front of his desk was the Holy Speaker, Lukas Yunnetovo, who was a good friend of his. "Well, any news on Denmark?" The President started. The HS replied, "They're still denying our requests for,entry into our nation." "Finland?" "They're still pissed at us for killing their men 5 years ago." This was the usual business for the two leaders of the United Republic. A moment of silence was held. "Lukas," the President started again. "Later, call the Holy Senate and the People's House together. I may have an idea that'll work in expanding the Republic." He proceeded to talk to the Holy Speaker about the idea. After about half an hour of debating, the Holy Speaker said, "Sounds ok then. I'll call the houses together, and vote to see what they think." After that, the Holy Speaker left, leaving the President to relax. He hadn't done that in a long time.

Following pro communist riots in Bangladesh were put down by the police using tear gas, rubber bullets and some rifles, Primer Rajesh has ordered the Indian Peoples Army (IPA) in to Bangladesh. Indian fighter bombers and missiles attacked government buildings in Dhaka has 300,000 Indian troops crossed the border in 3 offensives. Each offensive was supported by heavy aircraft and helicopter cover as well as hundreds of tanks and armoured vehicles (mostly T-90's). The Northern offensive has laid siege to the Bangladeshi city of Rangpur and the Indian navy has moved to land troops in southern Bangladesh.

Also extra troops have been moved to the borders of Pakistan and China. Bangladesh (with a smaller, poorly equipped army) is expected to fall very soon.

President Primo had been interrupted with his call to the Union Chairman, by an urgent issue that had taken up all of his time until now. There had been three more border incidents since the first one, all of them occurring the same way. He was sitting in a conference room in the Presidential Palace awaiting the arrival of the Senate Defense Committee. Since their call had been interrupted he decided to write a letter to the Chairman.

When he was done writing the letter he told one of his aids to have it sent immediately. As the aid left the members of the Committee began coming in. As they all entered and sat down the President began, "I know that all of you have heard by now that there have been four incidents on our borders with the Central American Union. We know that these attacks are being planned, and we think that they are the beginning of some far more serious attacks.

"What I am proposing is that we build a fence along the border with three entry points in each state. I know that this will not be cheap, but the safety of our people has no cost. The proposed fence would be 5 ft of concrete, plus 3 ft of Iron bars. The fence will take about a year and a half to be complete, and until then I would like border patrol to be tripled and around the clock."

None of the Senators spoke a word, they had all been anticipating the time that the President proposed this but none were ready to implement it. Senator Duplessis spoke first, "Well Mr. President, I agree that we need mire security on our borders but I don't think that we should build this fence in order to accomplish that."

"I disagree Senator, I think the fence is a great idea and it will provide 24-hour security without us having to lose too many of our men. Of course it will be costly,,but it will be worth whatever amount of money that it cost," said Speaker Iparis.

The President made a motion to accept the proposal and it was a 5-1 vote, with Senator Duolessis being the only one to disagree. This meant that a proper bill would be drafted and sent to the full Senate for consideration. "Great the second reason I called you here is because the world is filled with various empires. Though we have one if the strongest, if not the strongest, militaries in the world, we are still vulnerable to attacks. My second proposal is that we enact a defense alliance with the Union and the ASA, in order to better protect ourselves from foreign threats."

This time none of the Senators spoke so the President immediately put it to vote, and this proposal passed without any dissent. President Primo dismissed the Senators, and he prepared a letter to send to both the Union and ASA.

RUSSIAN DEFENSE FORCES

During a patrol in the Icy waters of the Arctic ocean, a newly built submarine, the Red-37 sank in the Kara Sea in January 27, 6:24pm, 2015.
A large search operation was launched for the submarine, no contact from the crew was found. The naval base nearby claims that the reason why it sank was due to a lack of communication and supplies, as no reports of the submarine has been found for a while. The Russian government does not say this is the case until the submarine is found.

Boris Kenya, the military leader in-charge of the operation was discussing the current situation of Russia's military with the president.
"We haven't found any trace of the submarine so far it has only just been launched as a operation" he confessed.
"Unfortunately that is the case, I think our military situation should be good. If we are at war we mobilize, simple as that. he argues
"Yes, it is. Let's not try to threaten our neighbors, they are our lifeline. We have also received information about Iceland." he states
"Iceland? What about it?" he asks
"Scandinavia is calling for some talks about Iceland, if they should their country join the Republic" he responds.
"By force or by diplomacy?" the president asks.
"Either I suppose." he says.
"Alright, tell them we'll come. You lead the search mission." the president orders.
"Yes Mr.President." he says.

Boris walks out the door, holding a map in is hand, with labels on what to do during the operation.
The president grabs his pen.
